Foo-Chow Restaurant in Los Angeles

The food was delicious. I wanted black pepper chicken but had to settle for the sauce over steak instead. We also tried sweet sour chicken, egg rolls, dumplings, and house lo mein.

The food was very good, not much changing of the lunch meals possible so I went with pork fried rice and asked for none of the vegetables in it- it was delicious. My Aunt got the cashew chicken and my uncle ordered sweet chicken both said they were very good. Egg rolls also were very good. Our server was meh, with little to no personality and we did wait in an almost empty restaurant for menus..but Id go back. Bonus, it was in a movie.

We went in because my family was visiting and wanted to try this place because of the movie. They are Rush Hour fans and had just watched the movie. I only had egg rolls myself, and they were nice and crispy, sweet and sour sauce was on point too. Others had orange chicken and dumplings, both good. Ambiance not much but nice to compare to the movie scenes and saw cool photos of that time on the wall. Nearby businesses were closed or closed down mostly. Visited on a Tuesday around 3pm, no wait.

I have been wanting to go here since I was a little girl because of Rush Hour. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The food was delicious. And there is upstairs and seating as well.

First time here ...Like it a lot..Fresh, tasty and delicious 😋...The service is very nice and friendly! Of course, we like the movie Rush Hour as well ☺️👍

Ive never had Fujianese food before but my grandparents were from Fuzhou so I was excited to try out some of the food they grew up with. I was not in the slightest disappointed. My favorite was the red wine fried fish. There was a subtle sweetness that has me still craving it, weeks later. The dumpling soup was also delicious and their house noodles were excellent.The servers were friendly and attentive but not overly so, which I know can be a difficult balance to manage. So kudos to the whole team for doing their jobs well.We went for the New Year and only walked across the street to get a prime view of the parade.Cant wait to go back.Also apparently Rush Hour filmed here, which is just cool.

The man that waited on us was very friendly. Overall, I did not enjoy my meal. The spring rolls had a nice crisp on the outside but the inside was too mushy and a bit slimy to us. We sent them back. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli lunch. The egg drop soup was good but I was disappointed that they did not have crispy noodles. The meal was pretty bland. The broccoli and the shrimp could have been cooked a little longer. The meal was $13.

Average Chinese food. Nothing spectacular to rave about. Its mostly for tourists. Place was clean and service was good. This place is popular since part of Rush Hour (Jackie Chan) was filmed here.

Very delicious food with large portions. I got chicken chow mein,sweet and sour chicken, and egg rolls.

Food is delivered fast. I don’t know how they can do that for Chinese food. Taste is great, service is good, and weekday lunch is not crowded and parking is easy.The only draw back is no one knows where Jackie Chan sat for Rush Hour movie shooting while it advertises the scene here.Friend wonton with cheese is really not Chinese foods but fusion. It is one of the greatest inventions of Chinese here. And the chili sauce actually does not go well with any Chinese food, I don’t know why they chose to use this.We got 2 identical fortune cookies, that is also very rare.
