It was a beautiful day when we visited Forever Marilyn. There were a few folks before me, but there was no rush.
She is awesome. AND VERY TALL. Details are good. YES it does have her underwear. To walk around outside, there is no charge
No tickets to purchase and statue is accessible 24/7. If you go in the evening its less crowded and youll get some cool lightning effects.
Ive visited this place on Thursdays for the Art street walk (vendors) its a great atmosphere, nice to visit during nice warm (not hot) nights, just to stroll and look at all different kinds of handy crafters and delicious food or treats. Pet and children friendly. Marylin as gorgeous as can be, shes surrounded by nature of a great and cleaning park with a waterfall feature, public restrooms and picnic tables onsite, carry soap and paper towels since sink doesnt have any. Great place to stroll!! ;)
So stop by this live music outdoor bar on the boulevard in Palm Springs and people watch.Best vocalist on Wednesday and Fridays is EvonTray at Tommy Bahamas Marlin Bar. Loved the Coconut Martinis. Near Marilyn Monroe statue
Its a beautiful statue, it brings out palm springs pop culture and history. Its nice to walk around and especially nice to look up at. People are trying to remove it but we should keep it. Its beautiful free art
Quick visit, not much to do other than take a few photos. Was a bit busy, had to wait a few moments for a picture but still cool. The detail that has gone into the statue is pretty amazing!
This is a super huge, gigantic statue of Marilyn Monroe! A cool and awesome sight...a must see for anyone visiting Palm Springs. And this is even more beautiful to see at night, with all the lights around it and the husg palm trees with lights right next to it. Loved it!!

It’s a giant statue of Marylin Monroe! What’s not to love? The statue is in the heart of a charming little park with an art museum at one end, and several pieces of free/public art found throughout. If you’re in Palm Springs, I would highly recommend. There are a lot of people lining up for photos, so be patient
So after I went to the china King Chinese restaurant I went to see Arthur the king and then this place and I love Marilyn Monroe and this place captures her essence pretty well but there was a pothead smoking in the corner so yeah.
Forever Marilyn is a giant statue of Marilyn Monroe designed by Seward Johnson The statue is a representation of the image of Monroe taken from Billy Wilders 1955 film The Seven Year Itch Created in 2011, the statue has been displayed in a variety of locations in the United States, as well as in Australia. Perfect spot for photos.
Great tourist attraction... brings a lot of traffic by the museum and mountains side restaurants and shops!
We did not get to go inside the Art museum, which was a bummer. I really enjoyed the Marilyn statue and the other art displays that were on displayed. It was lovely to see and take a photo with.

Beautiful except for:-homeless people sleeping in the park area where the sculpture is located-strange naked baby sculptures (???)-Palm Springs city regulations requiring negative covid tests for children under 12 and within 3 days of testing in order to enter any facilities/dinning

A beautifully rendered vibrant sculpture that also manages to make an ubiquitous 66 year old image edgy and controversial. You will see more on display at any pool in the area, but Forever Marilyn is art that inspires both amazement and emotion. Her actual Palm Springs origins only cement the perfection of her placement.

Theres not too much to say here. Its a big giant statue of Maryland Monroe for taking pictures. Its a nice little well Kept area lots of parking around lots of people walking around. Do you have some good pictures? There was a line to wait. Whats a nice little area to go for a walk Play some Decent clean bathrooms nearby. Theres a museum across the street and I meet lil period people are allowed to randomly paint whatever they would like kind of cool. Nearby parking is free

This is the second time she has graced our city and this time she is in a better place, she looks great here and now they want to move her cuz shes in the way of the museum when shes the biggest pull in town, If the museum isnt doing well maybe its due to the fact its not a very interesting museum so why blame the placement of Marilyn for your own failures, I actually went to the museum BECAUSE I saw it just beyond the statue and it was boring, I was NOT impressed.
My experience here was great, I love that they added this nice sculpture of Marilyn Monroe out here and just looks amazing. I’d highly recommend anyone in Palm Springs to visit around here because it’s nice.

Shes bigger than life, controversial, and sensational. Located in front of the Palm Springs Art Museum, Marilyn is available for a photo all day and night.
We were hopping to go to the museum but it’s closed Monday - Wednesday so plan accordingly.This is a great spot for a quick visit before eating lunch around the strip. Free street parking is for 3 hours and plenty of time during non peak hours. Parking structures are nearby.

We are staying near Palm Springs and decided to go downtown to see the Marilyn Statue in front of the Wy museum. The statue is 26 feet tall and an amazing likeness of her from the film The Seven Year Itch.
This is my favorite pose from 7 year itch. If you are visiting you have to see it in person.

This is a truly beautiful and engaging statue located between the Art Museum and the Palm Springs downtown shops and restaurants. The city has done an amazing job with the small park that is right there and the evening concert series is Fantastic and very well attended. I wish they would have every month but I see July is the last one this season. I hope they continue!!! Great job Palm Springs!!

Plenty of free parking located nearby so you can easily stop and take a photo and then be on your way. Or take a moment and walk around and enjoy the Palm Springs downtown.

The park near the studio was so well designed. We had a chance the interact with a few locals and their dogs. My husband loves to pet new dogs. Seeing the Marilyn sculpture was a treat. She is so amazingly human. Wow!

I know one can’t account for taste but it’s a oversized tacky piece that should be placed somewhere else and not by the art museum. It’s also completely inappropriate for this day and age… unless you’re one to find joy and pleasure in taking a photo up a woman’s skirt. To each their own.

Awful statue, having the appearance of doughy yellow porcelain, displayed in the wrong place, messing up the path to the great Palm Springs Art Museum. I could do very well without it.

You can eat, shop, look at the PS stars walk of fame, get a picture with Marilyn, and visit the museum all within walking distance.But if you want a quick pic, there are 20 min parking spots right by Marilyn.Adjacent park with restrooms right there. Parking garage on the block also.Dont forget the Palm Springs tram is not too far away. Google for hours and costs.

She spent some time on the East Coast but is back as a permanent installment.Shes so cool that we visit every time were in the Palm Springs area.Theres free and plentiful parking all around the vicinity. Also, several other temporary installments as well as an art museum and plenty of eateries that all make for a wonderful stroll.

2024-02-01 19:49:28A well deserve place to visit, MARILYN USED TO LIVE FEW BLOCK AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IN palm Springs. ( Las Palmas Neighboorhood) Next to the STATUE theres PARKING FREE 20 MINUTES ALLOWED ( AT THE SIDEWALK). MINUTES VISIT EARLY MORNING GIVES A CHANCE FOR ENJOY THE MOST.
