Food is great but I think they need to update their online prices with their physical menu prices. The difference is almost 2. Also, ordered lunch before 3pm and was expecting rice with my entrée, but she said it doesnt come with rice. Their paper menu says it does. I did pay $13.25 for it.
We love the Fortune Garden Chinese Restaurant in Tracy, California! Before the pandemic hit, we would love dining in, but since then, now we enjoy our takeout at home, and the food is still the great quality that we remembered! We truly recommend this establishment!
Very good food! We always order take-out...inside is very plain and in need of a face-lift. Mongolian beef and Walnut Prawns especially good! Downside...expensive.
Ok I had the soup and it was not good. You can taste the burn from the pot however, it was a great portion for the price and other plates are great from what I saw but I did not taste. So food and prices are great just stay away from the soup. Decor is nice and there is handicap access and as well parking surrounding the parking. A walk down this downtown after eating is good as well.
I ordered delivery. As I was adding items, the price listed was 13.95. Then after adding it the amount was 14.95. I added another item for 14.95. After it was added the amount became 15.95. If you charge 13.95 or 14.95 or any price, just make it the price listed. Dont be all adding 1.00 on each item after adding it to an order. It looks shady. Which Im sure you are.

Our group bought the 2nd family dinner on the menu and we were not disappointed. While the meal didnt provide any new or unusual dishes, everything we were served was well prepared. The attentive but not intrusive service was excellent. Everyone in our group plans to return soon.
Felt rushed by the woman taking my order even though they took a while. The food was okay, kinda greasy so it made me feel a little nauseous. I do appreciate how theyre handling social distancing. They have a table outside with a screen where they take payments and give you your food.

Thee best authentic Chinese food in The Central Valley!!! takes me back to the 60s and 70s great portions and the pork fried rice is loaded with pork and veggies also the salt and pepper crispy chicken wings are to die for, we usually order 5 to 6 items all fantastic.
I called this place because my kids wanted REAL egg rolls meaning the ones that have meat and not just vegetables. I called Mei Mei and they were temporarily closed so the called Happy Dragon who informed me their egg rolls were vegetable only. When I called this place I SPECIFICALLY asked if their egg rolls had meat to which they stated “yes combination” I assumed that meant pork and chicken. I ordered 10 egg rolls ( they only sell by the piece) and 2 small chicken chow meins. The egg rolls were vegetables only (I could have gotten then cheaper elsewhere) and chow mein greasy with VERY little chicken. Don’t waste your time or money going here if you want GOOD Chinese food
If you are picking up your food make sure to check your order. I got home and realized I was charged for a side that was not included. I called to notify them and the lady claimed to “not understand me.” I got tired explaining over and over I was charged for food that was not included. I never drove back to pick it up and I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again.
Serious the food is bomb! I know Chinese food guys! Born and raised in Bronx, NY we know Chinese! This place is pretty mother effing close to perfect! You wont be disappointed!

2023-12-05 06:45:30I went there partly because they advertised that they have healthy options, and partly to practice with chop sticks, so I can impress my Chinese friends. But the server was abrasive, curt, angry & impatient, even after I explained that this was my first time there, that I had some questions, and finally had to warn him is this the kind of first impression you want to make on me? Every time I asked him about the healthy choices they advertised (because my doc doesnt want me eating rice), the waiter got angry, argumentative, & refused to answer my question! I had to ask about four times for a glass of water. Really? I asked serial times for chop sticks (half my reason for going there), but never got them. Also asked for an extra napkin and a spoon (because the food was so greasy it wouldnt stay on my fork). My bill at the end just had a total in Chinese scrawled on it; I would have liked to see what I ordered in English, sub-toal, tax, & total.The dinning area was surprisingly clean. Spartin, modern minimalist, but clean..The food was better than the service. My Cungpow Chicken was not too hot, and not too bland; just right. The chicken was done enough, but not over done & tuff. The veggies were cooked just right. Not too rare so they were hard to chew; and not too over cook, so all the nutrients were dead. My chicken Fried Rice was very tasty without havent to add soy sauce. Not too salty, not too spicy hot. Just right. My lonely egg roll was very tasty too. I just wish everything had been a bit less greasy.With tax & tip it was rather expensive. Shame on me for tipping at all & thus rewarding such lousy service! Not sure if Ill ever come back.

Same with the mangolian beef it was just sooo salty!! i could berly take a 2nd bite! and very pricey will not buy food here again id rather have Mcdonalds!! Yes thats how bad it is

2019-12-14 17:34:38We tried this place recently and like it a lot. The flavor is so good. The food is hot and fresh. The egg drop soup they give there has sesame oil and is the best in town. My wife loves it so much. We will be back soon.

2022-09-17 08:17:16It was our first time at this place and we arrived at closing time 9:00 P.M., but the lady was very nice and she still took our order to go in a hurry! My husband and I ordered Chow Mein and it was pretty good, we also ordered crab puffs which were good... although maybe not as good as the ones we used to order in another place in the past ;)I dont remember what else we ordered because I didnt post my review right away, but whatever it was, it was good as well and we are definitely coming back somewhere along the line :)

2023-02-24 07:06:20This place is average priced like other Chinese restaurants. The food is delicious every time. I dont know If they are allowing customers to sit inside again but it was always a wonderful atmosphere. My grandchildren especially love the orange chicken and wor wonton soup. The chow mein is okay I think I prefer happy dragons chow mein instead. Amazing kitchen Chinese restaurant has the best Walnut shrimp though. If you want excellent chop suey that would be happy dragon again Ive never actually tried it at Fortune garden Im sure its great too. The best chow mein I ever had in my entire life though was in Fresno California at fungs kitchen. I believe it was kind of Hong Kong style with the wet noodles and dry noodles but it had like a gravy and then these slice pork pieces that were just so delicious.

2018-11-19 02:28:33Was thinking of visiting Helms Alehouse, but they were closed. On a whim, I stopped across the street to the Fortune Garden. Had their signature Honey Walnut Prawns. Were an absolute delight. Plenty of indoor space. Portion sizes were exceptional.
