One of the few Taiwanese styled Chinese breakfast in town. The green onion cakes 蟹壳黄）is pretty good when it’s warm. We’ve coming up this pace for years and the quality has always been about the same; though the prices have gone up a lot over the last year or so.

Nice solid no frills taiwanese breakfast joint! Best item we tried was the bean curd with braised flavor. The radish cakes with egg was a close second. We also got non-sweetened soy milk and peanut-soy milk, with a side of Chinese donut aka 油条（i swear these things get translated 10 different ways，my favorite is the literal one, oil-sticks). Compared to Yi mei in Rowland this one feels a bit cleaner.Nice ladies at the register, bare tables shared with two other families, what more ambience can you ask for. Authentic breakfast experience!

Janky interior but youll feel like youre in China. Authenticity points. You order before you sit and its cash only. This is really solid place for Taiwanese style breakfast. You should try their soy milk and fried cruller or fried Chinese donut. Also get fried egg variants whenever you can. Yum. Good value for the price. Expect to bus your own table to a martyr dirty table.

My family and I visit this shop once every few years from Northern California and we love the variety of Taiwanese and Mandarin breakfast specialties found here. But each time we visit, we are disappointed to find half the tables in the dining room full of dirty dishes left from previous diners. It doesnt seem to be a priority for employees to clear tables quickly to ensure a clean, comfortable environment for its dine-in patrons.

This is the place to buy authentic Taiwanese breakfast. Soy milk with friend gluten rolls. Yummy sticky rice burrito and egg pancakes. The only problem is they take phone orders but their phone is always off the damn hook. If you got time to wait then great place but if you think you want to grab and go dont bother. The line is usually almost to the door.

I give it 3 stars because I got no reason to come back. I drive all the way from Phoenix to try out this place where people highly recommend to get traditional Chinese breakfast from.The soy milk are not so fresh and the rice wrap taste plain. The only good thing is the little bakery that taste sweet like it is supposed to be. The staff responds really slow and attitude is not so friendly.

This is the standard I compare all Taiwanese breakfast places too. Itd hold up well in Taiwan.They also have, what I consider to be, the pinnacle of fan tuans. So in addition to your normal fare of pork floss, fried cruller and pickled vegetables, you can add egg in here. Tea egg or an omelet. Your omelet could have onions in it too. It comes out to be this big fat boi, and I love it.Have I had better? Of course. In this small mom and pop shop in Taiwan. Where youre basically eating in their kitchen. But other than that ONE place. Four Sea wins almost every time.

Fast, delicious and cheap. Servers are good at making sure they give you the correct order. Suggestion: fried turnip cakes well done to get that crispy crust and soft delicious insides. Salty rice roll with hard boiled egg and pickled veggies, so good. Making me hungry now, might need to go back and pick up one.

So so so good! Hands down, best steam buns and green onion cakes Ive had in ages. Very limited english skills but very much worth the extra effort- honestly Ive always found this to be a great indicator for the food being better. This is getting added to our permanent/must-have list when we are in town. I cant wait to get the full dine-in experience post-covid!

Food is always good but getting pricey now after so many years. Service is usually good but the customers are not so desirable especially the Chinese tourists. They always take much longer to order since they dont even look at the menu clearly posted on the wall before getting to the cashier. And they dont care how many people are lined up behind them. Whats up with peoples sense of entitlement?

First time visit and probably only time visit, food there was alright but a little over priced for its quality and taste. The biggest thing Ill have to complain is their tables layout. They have two whole rolls of tables pushed tightly against the window and each other leaves no space between tables so when we eat Ill have to STAND UP 4 TIMES so the waitress can deliver food to the other table. Im here to eat and I want to relax and enjoy, STANDING UP OVER AND OVER AGAIN IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. I dont feel relaxed and can not enjoy my food at all.

A great place to get a delicious, authentic Taiwanese breakfast. Its counter service so you order your food at the counter and find a seat. In the morning, it may be hard to find a seat since it can get busy.Highly recommend the fan tuan (rice roll). My personal favorite is the fan tuan with stewed egg and pickled vegetables.They only accept cash so make sure you have some before coming.

One of the most authentic taiwanese restaurants in LA. Their specialty is breakfast. Its probably best to go in a group so you can try as many breakfast dishes on their menu as possible!! Its also the only place Ive been able to find delicious, rich rice milk. Cannot wait to go back!!

I love Taiwanese Breakfast and this place is similar to some of my other favorite Taiwanese stops!You make your order at the counter and they make the order via a Microphone to the back, wondering how they make the proper order with so much going on the same time!People seemed to continue to roll in and the food just keep on coming! We had the hot sweet soy milk, fan tuan the Chinese rice balls ( vegetarian style) included Chinese doughnut and vegetarian pork grinds.A side of Green Onion Pancake, too oily but decent.My man ordered the sticky rice but we didnt like that they didnt keep it in the Zong Zi leaf but he said it was still pretty delicious!

Taiwanese Breakfast, not Chinese! Service is not very good, the establishment could really use a makeover but the food is great. Their fan tuan (rice roll) with fried onion and pickled vegetables tastes just like the stands on the street in Kaohsuing. Their Mijiang (sweet peanut soymilk) is also great hot, I never get it cold. Dont eat their. Just call in your order, pick it up and eat it at home or in the car. Oh and if your chinese isnt very good, the ordering process is a little tough but worth it.

It is not dim sum, its Taiwanese breakfast!Ive been coming here for years and the quality has not changed. Although I love this place, it could get a little messy dining here and ordering can be difficult if you dont speak Mandarin. Ive attached a photo of my receipt, so you can use it to point and order. I would encourage all my fellow yelpers to upload receipt to help each other out!The set up is quite simple, but theres no climate control in here. I dont think the heater or AC has ever been on, but thats how they decide to save money. They open everyday at 6am, so make sure to bundle up if youre dining here in the early mornings. The best thing about this place is their take out, super convenient! It usually takes about 10mins on average, unless youre ordering during peak time on weekends.Here are my favorite things to order:Salty Rice Rolls:The center has fried bread covered with dried pork song and pickled veggies. The whole thing is then rolled in rice (think sushi) thats always the perfect texture and warm.Egg Covered Tortilla:This is a very simple dish, but its one of my favorites! Think of scrambled eggs with green onions being cooked and then layering a tortilla above it. They then wrap it up and then cut it into bite size for you, love! If you love eggs and tortilla, get it!Fried Radish Cake:Another one of my loves, but be warned that this dish can get a little too garlicky. Its basically a turnip cake mix in squares and pan fried. I know turnip cake sounds really odd, but its sooo good! I always ask them to cook it a little longer, so its extra crispy. Worth the extra 2min wait!Sweet Soy Milk:Their soy milk is the BOMB! Always Fresh. You can order it hot, warm, or cold. I would suggest ordering it warm if you are hitting the road and ready to drink it ASAP because if you order it HOT, its literally boiling temperature! Ive burned my tongue many times before because of this, but I love HOT drinks. PS, you can also order Salt Soy Milk, but I dont have much to write about that since I never get it.Sweet Bread with Onion Egg:This is basically a steamed sweet bread with the scrambled egg with green onions jammed in the middle (same thing they use for the Egg covered Tortilla). Think of ham and cheese we use to put in between sandwiches, same thing but eggs. A very simple dish, but tasty if you want a bit of sweet and salty.I hope this helps with your future orders. Lots of choices of popular Chinese street food such as yu tiao (fried cruller), guabou (totilla bread), sweet filling pastry, steamed buns, fried eggs with anything, and rice rolls; for the drinks- salty or sweet soy milk. This is a great place for a traditional Chinese breakfast.Salty/sweet soybean milk, beef or pork sandwich with cilantro, and of course, the bread sandwich (you tiao stuffed in sesame bread).They also have a lot of different baked goods such as man tou, tzong dze (glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaf- sweet or salty - a Chinese style tamale) also daikon sesame bread, and Taiwanese style fried radish cake (lo bok gao/ nabo frito).You walk in and place your order at the counter. They give you a number, and then you sit down wherever you find some space. This is a super no-frills place where you “eat your breakfast and go”. Just keep that in mind. You’re there for the food, not the ambiance.

And its great to have sugar-free options (by someone who has long been frightened by the sweetness of the United States)The quiche was plain, the skin was dry and hard, but the egg inside was fine. It is a food that you can make at home, and it is tastier and cheaper. (It means that there is no soy sauce paste in the store)The taro cake is delicious! You can eat genuine taro. The radish cake is quite ordinary. If you can go to Dahua next door to buy it, there should be better radish cake.I like the crispy fried taro cake and carrot cake, but they are really oily.The final conclusion is that if you haven’t been home for a long time (aka Taiwan) and you usually live in a place where you can’t buy local flavors, you will really feel happy to eat here.

Recommended by friends in Shanghai. I ordered a bowl of salty soy milk, a bowl of white soy milk, a fried dough stick, a carrot cake, and a meat floss egg roll. It tastes great and the soy milk is delicious! The fritters are also very fluffy. The carrot cake is soft and delicious, and the meat floss egg roll is average but tastes good. Finally, I took away the uneaten carrot cake.
