This is a lot of food. Its tasty, very reminiscent of 1980s Chinese food. They probably havent changed their recipes much if at all since they first opened, which I find comforting. Go in expecting that and youll be rewarded.
I enjoy the food they provide in this restaurant. The staffs there are super helpful and very polite. It is a welcoming environment

Didn’t feel warm and welcomed. Was rushed in and out. Received no condiments. Flat affect from greeter. Dry fried ribs were all fat no lean. Was ethnically, offended and uncomfortable.
The food was great and portions are incredibly huge. The place is a bit run down but that doesnt bother me. It was something else that happened that day that made me give them 3 stars I would give them less but I figure what resturant doesnt have these things running around. I would say what we saw but I dont want to talk bad about them especially if they took care of the situation. I would go back but it will take me a while before I go back again. Lol!

I used to be a long time goer here. Food was awesome back a year to 2 years ago.. The food now doesnt taste like it used too. When I tried to order food to go on the phone. No one bothered to pick up the phone. I end up going there waiting for about 30 minutes. Everything was bland no taste or the flavors that I know off was missing. I ended up going to a different place a bit further where their food is consistent and they are very warm to their patrons. Sorry, I am not coming back there to eat.
I used to really like this restaurant for its good rice with shrimp, which they made now the rice looks like chicken food, all broken and overcooked, I hope they go back to their original rice because it is more expensive and very bad.

Wow, what a gem. I went here for lunch only having a short break for work. They were so fast preparing my order, plus their lunch special was delicious and 3x as much food as I needed. I ate what I could, packed the rest to go and my partner and I made 2 meals out of the leftovers. What an awesome place to eat (plus the food was good)
The food is good and you get a lot of quantity in what you pay.The food is not spicy at all.Salt will be less in whatever you order so remember to add soy sauce to whatever you order.The attached pic is orange chicken which was very sugary, for the ones who like sweet chicken, you should get it.

Good lunch specials all under $8! 11am-3pm Mon-Sun. Fast service and food is fresh. My plate was a bit salty but overall a good experience. During my first visit, I ordered Tofu w/mixed veggies with fried rice. Good deal!
Typically this place has decent food for the price. I’ve probably ordered from here nearing 50 times. Yesterday though I received the wrong order for pick up. I ordered wings and beef with mixed vegetables. I got the wings which were fine. The incorrect item I got was what I’m guessing is general tzos chicken. This dish was not only not what I ordered but it was terrible. The chicken was so overbooked I could barely chew it. Disappointed for sure. Seems this is happening all over the Bay Area. Just the basic quality of service, portion sizes, food quality, and even attitude of restaurants is declining.

We have been a regular at Frannies but since the pandemic, yesterday was my 1st order to go. I have to say the prices have increased and the food quality has gone down. During dine ins we used to enjoy our meals but yesterdays order was terrible. The food didnt have any taste, was very blend, and portions too small for the price. I dont think we will be returning to what used to be one of our favs. I have met the owener a couple of times during dine ins, and she is a very lovely lady. Hopefully she can do something about the food quality.
Very tasty food, but is very busy most of the time. Make sure you call before taking orders home because it does take a while.
Love their chow mein noodles, very nice & thick. They serve both Chinese & Hawaiian food, have tried both and has never disappointed with quality & portion size. The food is always fresh and the vegetables are not over cooked. The service is a little rough, but the food will always keep me coming back.
Stopped here to pick up some lunch while visiting my mom at the cemetery up the street. We wanted to try something different, well that was a mistake. The 2 women at the register didnt say anything when we walked in, not even a, how can I help you. After staring at each other for almost 2 minutes we ordered the bbq plate and shrimp chow mein. The food was very sub par, the bbq tasted like sweet soy sauce, and the rice was very wet, almost mushy. The noodles were decent but thats about it. The uninviting service and terrible food will keep us from coming back, EVER!!

Big servings of food for a minimal cost. This is why theres always a lot of diners going here. Not just one or two, but the whole family. Food is flavorful. The only downside most of the time is the service. Their servers are all around. Meaning, they also take lots of take-out phone call orders. So, they rarely pass by your table. But, its not a problem to flag them. This is a great place to go to for family dinners.
Amazing food. They provide food really quickly from the time you order. Their soups are amazing. Pot stickers are savory. Plenty vegetarian options and healthy comes vegetable mix. The only issue is that they have carpet and so when you enter you get a funky unwelcoming aroma.

This eclectic Asian style restaurant is a real throwback. It is small, crowded and noisey. It does offer a great value in the amount of food you get from each item ordered. Typically my wife and I only need to order two items and still have food to take home. Keep in mind the idea Id quantity not quality and you will so just fine.
Food is delicious at reasonable prices. Customer service needs improvement as servers come off rudely. Waiter (only one there) needs to improve his hygiene standards so I avoid him at all cost. Overall, a decent joint to grub at.

This place is awesome. Their food is fresh and delish. They serve pretty huge size meals. Service was good. Friendly. Only downfall is that its not that big. Needed more space. Maybe its because were on the bigger side. Lol. But, all good for some good Chinese or Hawaiian BBQ.

Ive been going here for 18 years now. Tonights food was by far and away the worst weve ever had. I hate to say it but its been slowly getting worse and worse. We get the same items all the time. The consistency is all over the place. Portion sizes are getting smaller. They havent answered the phone the last 3 times we tried placing an order to pick up. We will not be going back here for a while.

Big serving but the chow mien is very bland and oddly enough... the pinnapple tasted like watery mush. Real weird. Spring rolls were also just a crispy roll of mush . Cheese wanton I will say was pretty goodgood .

The managers have always been rude but this time over the top rude. The food has always been good but this time it was really greasy it just wasnt the same. Probably just cook our own food from now on.

The food was hot well seasoned and the portions were large. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Chinese food.

2023-12-06 20:23:54A reasonable entry-level Chinese restaurant as of late 2023.They re-opened in-person dining early in 2023. At $12, lunch prices are up 50% from a couple years ago. Cheaper holes-in-the-wall are becoming rarer these days.Servings are generous, and food quality seems reasonable but unremarkable for this price tier. They did give me the wrong dish. The sauce was quite watery - which I fixed by stir-frying again with additional ingredients.Menus include Chinese, English, and Spanish.---Edit: After they wouldnt let me order from the lunch menu when I arrived 4 minutes past their 2pm deadline, I discovered a significantly better deal 5 blocks west: Tin Fu (doesnt show up on google map except at very high magnification)
