We arrived early. The manager was very accommodating. Since the room was not yet ready we asked for recommendations to have lunch. She was very helpful. We had lunch and when we came back the room was ready.
We loved our stay at the Frazier Motel. Large room, very clean, and everything worked well.. The views are great. Would stay again.

8/3/23 Our 1st & unsure what to expect... Surprise! its a self serve online service but can also call them. Service was friendly & I had help with makg the reservation. Room is basic but good size with some nice amenities (hair dryer, shampoo, body wash, free wifi), relax on the recliner, really clean, no traffic or noises. So if you dont mind the drive, its great for peace & quiet. Visit on next trip thru area 🙂
A surprising and welcome find for travelling over the Grapevine.Electronic check-in was easy.The room was well appointed, clean, with a spotless bathroom, a very comfortable bed, and a large Roku TV.
Frazier View Motel was just what I could have asked for: not too expensive, but spotlessly clean, convenient check-in, reasonably comfortable, and very thoughtfully appointed. Its an older building, but nothing looked worn out and everything worked fine.
This motel is a real gem set in the census designated location of Frazier Park. We thought of it more as an inn rather than a motel due to the excellent furnishings (I wanted to steal the recliner), the plush towels that you normally do not associate with a motel, and the overall cleanliness of the facility. The sunset on the facing mountain was a real plus as well. We will be back!
Cockroaches in the room!!! I checked in around 5 and left to the church camp that I was attending and when I returned it was around 12 so I didn’t notice the cockroaches since I went to bed as soon as I got there but my last night there I picked up some fast food and left it on the desk while I went to the restroom, when I came back my food was full of cockroaches. I also noticed some in the bathroom and on the bed after packing up. I was gone the whole day from the motel so I didn’t notice them until night when I came back to sleep, by then it was too late to leave.
This was such a wonderful hotel!!! Everything was nice and clean and comfy as a hotel should be, but they also put in the effort to provide a binder FULL of great info like nearby activities and restaurants! (We went to the Mexican restaurant and the China Red House restaurant and they were both sooooooooo good and affordable)! The view was really pretty. Ive been to quite a few hotels and this one is by far my favorite we will be coming here every time now thank you Frazier Hotel :)
From the booking process all the way to check out we had the best experience. We were going to book somewhere else but the other place had such terrible customer service we decided to keep on looking and stumbled upon this wonderful place. I am so glad we ended up at the Frazier View Motel. We were greeted with warmth, their communication was fabulous and the rooms were clean and welcoming. If we end up going to Frazier Mountain again I can guarantee we will be staying here again. If you are looking for a great place to stay before heading up the mountain to the snow, this is the place!

Great location, just an hour out of LA, super affordable and much much better rooms than Motel 6 or Super 8 or other such roadside motels. The rooms were cleaner, the bathrooms had all the toiletries, there was good WiFi and the location is brilliant as well. Easy recommendation!
We were pleasantly surprised with out stay. The room looked as if it had been recently renovated and was very clean. Check in was a piece of cake! A short walk in either direction will take you to the gas station that has everything you need, or to a nice place to eat. I will definitely stay at this motel again.
We enjoyed our overnight stay during our road trip. It was quiet,, nice little town with great walkability after a long day of driving.
I was looking for a place to break up the drive from San Diego to the Bay Area. The room was perfect. It was a little strange to have a contactless check in and never see anyone in management, but it worked out perfectly for me.
WOW! Hidden gem off of the grapevine. We were stuck for a place to stay because of our AB&B wasn’t available due to confusion. WE found this place late around 9 and we didn’t know what to expect.It was perfect. All new everything and super clean. The room was comfortable as well as a little table to open up and enjoy our food.I highly recommend a stop on your way to the mountains or the valley. This motel was a great find for a cozy winter stay. If you want to escape the city noise and want some tranquility this location is perfect with the nice views of the mountains. My family and I had a fantastic time. Nevertheless, a highlight of this motel is the cleanliness; this was very important to us due to the COVID times that we are still living. Everything was great! It was my husband and I first time staying here. We really enjoyed it. Quiet, relaxing, and beautiful! The views were amazing. The room had everything you needed. It was perfect . And we even got to bring our little dog. We cant wait to go back!!
I wish every motel experience was like this—economical, easy check-in, spotless, and quiet. A gem in the mountains. Great shower, good bed, felt very safe. I’ve stayed in hundreds of “high end” hotels but this motel will be memorable for how cozy it was. Light snow but the snowplows were so good that I didn’t find myself needing chains within the settled town area.

Pleasant surprise! Great value for the price. We had stayed at some, shall we say, unsatisfactory places on this trip, and were wary about booking an affordable room. However, this place really exceeded expectations! Recently remodeled, very clean, with hard floors (which we prefer). Tap water was also good tasting (which is seldom the case). Check-in was easy with a numerical code for a keypad, although sometimes the door had to be shifted a bit to get the bolt to align properly when locking. The location is also only two doors down from fantastic vegetarian restaurant (and this coming from a dedicated carnivore!) and is easy walking distance to key spots in town. Realizing the place is recently redone, weve got a couple of suggestions for minor improvements for the room we were in (#22). First, please put in some hooks or bars to hang towels! We managed by hanging on chairs and doorframes, but this is a relatively cheap fix to improve quality of stay. Sink fixture was also a bit loose, and tissues would be a nice touch. These tweaks are all very minor, though, and dont take away from the great room for a reasonable price. Well stay here again if were in the area.
Overall the motel was good. It was very clean, quiet and pretty big. The view was really nice as well. Only issue I had was, the bed. The bed felt like I was sleeping on cardboard. I literally had to sleep sideways against the headboard to get comfy. Thank goodness for the recliner.
This is a real gem and a find for us travelling through to San Diego from NorCal. The booking was easy the space was clean and comfortable. Great bed, crispy clean sheets, leather resting chairs. We heartily recommend Frazier View to anyone travelling down I-5

Very nice place! Responsive and pleasant managers, nicely renovated, very clean rooms with thoughtful extras like a fold-away table and extra chairs. Very quiet stay and lovely view of the nearby mountains. The only downsides were a clanking flagpole outside on our very windy night and bedframes that are a bit too big: hard not to stub ones toes when standing by the bed.

While returning from Yosemite, we needed a nice quiet place to stay before heading in to LA the next morning to beat the evening traffic. This was perfect…very clean, quiet and well run. Quiet and home-y motel, easy distance to freeway. Absence of road noise a big plus. Room was very clean with all the normal amenities. Very quiet with pretty morning mountainside views. I travel from the SF Bay Area to San Diego frequently and this is a great place to break my trip. The rooms are sparkling clean and comfortable. There’s a nice network of trails for an evening stroll just up the road and it’s next door to the Red Dot Vegetarian Kitchen which I believe is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. It’s well worth the ten minute detour from I5

I will say right off the top. The service, the remodeled room, and the distance from restaurants and businesses, and the no contact check in were all great. The only reason im only ranking it a 4 is because of the mattress. The mattress was very firm. Others might be like that, but it wasnt for me. There was a nice electric recliner though which was a nice alternative. ha. All in all though it was a positive experience and I will be back.
Totally clean and nicer than a Motel 6. Super easy to book online and we checked in with a door code. Water was hot, bathroom was clean, neighbors were quiet. Can’t really ask for more.
Wont be back, heres why.The next door guests were making noise until 3AM until we had enough and banged on the wall. Rooms are nice but have sound issues from other rooms. There only appeard to be us and the guests in other room there during our midweek stay, not sure why they put us right next door. Also there was alot of religious pamphlets in the room and the tv staions available for news had a limited selection that was one sided.Could be a good place but needs to loose the religious and news of only one group, its a business needs to be welcoming for everyone.
This is a great find north of L.A. and 5 miles off I-5, nice small town of Frazier. Newly renovated the room was all new. Excellent TV, clean, recliner, desk and table. Couple restaurants close by.

A hotel where you can feel safe.Its about 5km from the national highway towards the mountains, so its very quiet. The inside was clean and there were no problems.There are several restaurants within walking distance as well as a supermarket.By the way, rooms are unlocked using a numeric keypad, not a key.

It felt very homey and I liked the warm peach wall paint and the lighting was nice and soft. Great deal for the price. Bathroom was very nice as well. Keyless entry was cool and convenient as I checked in late and got to go straight to my room without checking in. Would stay here again in a heart-beat.Also check out the Red Dot Vegetarian restaurant two doors down. Great food and opens early for breakfast coffee or tea.

The room was obviously recently renovated, spotless and comfortable (nice big bathroom, comfy beds). The dog-friendliness was genuine. Check-in/out was entirely virtual, which was new to us...all via text & lockbox on the door, but it worked flawlessly. Customer service and communication was prompt, friendly, helpful. Location was ideal for our needs: just off the main highway enough to be quiet, easy access to stargazing. Nice little place, we will use it again when we return.

A/C worked great and was quiet compared to other places that Ive stayed. Only takes a few minutes to get to from the freeway and is well worth the drive. Would gladly stay here again.

I had one of my German Shepherds with me so I didn’t think I would find a suitable booking in the area … until I found Frazier View Motel! The remote check in was easy, the room was clean and fresh, and bonus points for it being just a block from the trailhead. Wonderful dining choices in walking distance and the view was pleasant. I’ll be staying again and have recommended to friends.

2023-07-01 18:37:39Our room was very clean and comfortable.However the initial arrival was tainted by the owner being quite abrupt and rude when we asked for assistance on check in. Not a great welcome.Whilst the room had good amenities there were no stirrers for coffee etc. Also the curtains were not blackout, had holes in so let in the light in the morning.Overall a good stay and the mountain view made up for the couple of downsides.

I didnt arrive until about midnight, and because the room has electronic locks, I was able to get myself in without needing to bother anyone!The room was clean, newly-updated, and very comfortable. I like that the sink is outside the bathroom. It was quiet, and such a great view right outside the door!I would totally stay here again.
