2023-07-17 23:20:10Everything except the fish is nice. The clams are my favorite. The prawns are good. The fish isnt; due to the fact that they dont season it the fillets of fish are just bland. Given that we paid $100+ just for the fish Id say its not worth it.

2023-05-29 20:15:21This place is a wild ride. they steam fish right at your table, whipping up a chinese paella thats real tasty. In the corner, a blend-your-own sauce station that lets you be the Willy Wonka of dips - delivering tasty concoctions for all.The wall are plastered with Finding Nemo scene, so probably not the romantic vibe you might expect of a place that asks for a Benjamin per head - but hey, theyll probably let you write your and your crushs name on it if you ask nice. The menu? Full of depressed looking fish who looked way cheerier in the tanks - guess they arent the photogenic type... Anyhow, each of these bad boys was fresh like a Guido in a jersey shore nightclub when brought to the table.Service? Top-tier, friendly as can be.Its a bit of a rollercoaster, but it lands a solid five stars. Fish out!

2022-07-18 04:22:19Have been to this place the second time. If you love fresh ingredients, seafood, or some meat, this is the place to go; especially seafood. They don’t marinate the fresh ingredients but do offer some sauce (you can make your own). The price is though not so friendly; it can easily go up to $100+ per person, or more if you crave for King Crab (8-10 lb for $500-$700).

2021-10-25 08:44:51Really unique experience that I haven’t seen anywhere else. Steamed meats are very tasty and the congee at the end is great. You can get some high end meats such as waygu, geoduck, jumbo shrimp, and razor clam. Would be 5 stars except for a few issues:- Pricing is not clear for “market price” items leaving you with a higher than expected bill- Service lags when the restaurant becomes full. When we showed up we were only one of 3 tables and service was very attentive with cooking the meat and adjusting the heat, however when the restaurant became busy we had to flag down staff multiple times

2022-04-24 05:30:45Very tasty, but mostly due to the ingredients itself (as compared to seasoning and prep). It can easily go over $100 per person which I think is slightly (just slightly) overpriced. The environment is not the best but not bad. Will definitely come back when I crave for fresh seafood.

2023-10-05 03:31:06Some seafood selections are fresh but pricy. It’s more like a buffet style with steamer cook top and porridge underneath catching all the juice from food steam on top. This place is very narrow and hard to move around when crowded. We had a family dinner here and I bit into a piece of rock (size of tip of my pinky) found in the porridge. It chipped 1/4 of my tooth. I called the waitress over and showed the rock and a piece of my broken tooth to her. She immediately took the rock to the back and brought out her manager. They never apologize and hid the rock. The manager explained that rock are normally found in seafood and never asked if I was okay. I was hoping she would apologize and show concern toward the customer, but it never happened.

2019-05-23 04:46:57Chinese food in US tend to be over greasy for me but this place is an exception, because they only steam... with the table-embedded high pressure steamer, fresh seafood as well as meat and vegetables are rapidly steamed without adding water or salt- and you would enjoy the real tastiness of the fresh ingredients. Shrimp, clams, oysters, yellow chicken and beef tongue are my recommendations. Ask MP item first as they tend to be pretty expensive. One secret is to ask the white rice before you start steaming and place in the bottom of the steamer, and when dinner is over you have super yummy porridge ready- try it!

2019-11-09 19:30:32A responsible yelper dines at a restaurant at least twice before firmly steering friend toward or away! I am born and raised in China Canton, ppl in Canton love to use steam cooking technique which believe it can keep the original taste of the ingredients. We love the subtle taste without dousing everything in heavy sauces.Fresh elements deserve its name, most of our seafood dishes were fresh and delicious. The steps for steam hotpot are pretty straight forward.Step 1: choose porridge or soup base for the steam pot;Step 2: the staff manages the time setting for each dish;Step 3: dipping the well down food into the “make your own style” condiment sauces- spicy sweet soy sauce, pepper, green onion, cilantro, and minced garlic.Step 4: drink a bowl of porridge or soup to end up a wonderful dinner.Ordered:Spareribs with fresh yam congee base,游水小花虾: Very popular item, gonna get it early before it sold out.Chicken with cordyceps flower, ribeye steak, beef tongue, daikon, watercress.Mirugai with two style (sashimi, steam pot): super delicious! but i prefer the steam style!!

2018-12-31 03:39:58Insanely expensive!! They forcibly add an 18% gratuity charge onto the bill. For 10 people, our bill came out to be an insane $900 USD. The portions are tiny and I was not even full after this Insanely expensive meal. The interior is poorly designed.Overall, I would not come here again. The food was fresh and all, but 1 crab costing $500 USD??? That is just spells out a money hungry restaurant that only cares about profits.
