The WORST service Ive experienced at any restaurant. The food is mediocre at best and the service is S..........L...........O...........W.I got there at noon. Restaurant was almost empty. It took the server 15 minutes to take our order and another 30 for the food to come out of the kitchen. None of the workers want to be there. I gave one star bc theres a parking lot. None of the dishes came with a serving spoon.

Not very lively right now due to closure. A lot of things on the menu were not available such as scallion pancake which I really wanted. I got egg chow mein and cumin lamb. The noodles were good but the lamb wasn’t to my taste. I couldn’t taste the lamb. It could have been any meat.

I ordered from here not too long ago. I ordered the fried rice since i did not know what to order. When i went back home to eat the 15 dollar meal i ordered it had crusty bits of meat and shrimp inside with egg but no vegetables anywhere. I also did not order meat but the normal fried rice so there should be peas and carrots right? But all there is beef,egg, and shrimp. After eating half of it i felt like vomiting. Would not reccomend anyone to eat here over priced and the order i got was not what i payed for.

Pretty good Szechuan food. I have not had good Szechuan food in the IE and this is the first place that I found that is worth coming back too. If you like a numbing type of spice I would highly recommend this place. I normally do not like spicy food but Szechuan food is a different story. Also the prices are decent for the amount of food they give you

BEST TASTE EVER! I love using there website to order. The price is high but its worth the quality. I came back for the Sauteed Beef with Pickled Peppers. I had a bad experience a year ago and I left a negative review. However Ive returned because I love the food and I am sure they learned from their mistakes and have corrected their food handling system.2022: Sauteed Bandage found in my Sauteed Beef with Pickled Peppers. Single-use gloves shall be worn when contacting food and food-contact surfaces if the employee has any cuts, sores, rashes, artificial nails, nail polish, rings (other than a plain ring, such as a wedding band), uncleanable orthopedic support devices, or fingernails that are not clean, smooth, or neatly trimmed.(b) Whenever gloves are worn, they shall be changed, replaced, or washed as often as handwashing is required by this part. I had a really unpleasant experience with this restaurant. After eating their dishes, I developed nausea and heartburn. It was so bad that I would give them a rating of 0 if I could. I would not recommend eating here.

Very bad customer service and when u do order food for average of $20 a dishes. They dont came with white rice, and they do mention other restaurent dont come with white rice as well, but I did been to several Chinese restaurent, they all do came with white rice. All the dishes are over fried before put on the sauce(including vegetable choice).

I just had the chicken fried rice and it was good. it wasnt great, but it wasnt the worst chicken fried rice Ive ever had. so, due to taste, I am giving it 4 stars. it definitely was worth my 10$ (rounding up), I ate 1/3 of it and the rest will cover me for lunch and dinner tomorrow, so it definitely deserves the 4 stars. I highly recommend it, and will go back to try the rest of the foods they offer.

Ive never been so confused about a Chinese restaurant before. I want to believe that this was a fluke. My one entree was $17 without tip.First, I had to wait 45 minutes for it to be ready. They were not busy, and had about 5 customers in that span of time. All of them ordered after me, and got their food well before I did. I was served dry, overcooked chicken in a sauce/spice blend that I can only describe as unnecessarily overpowering. This dish easily could have been amazing.Whatever spices were in it, MY MOUTH AND LIPS WENT NUMB FROM IT. I insist this was not a spicy numbness, but a chemical one. It persisted for more than an hour, and reminded me of my lips going numb at the dentists office from the Novocaine cream they use. Ive never, EVER had food do that to me.Ive thought about reviewing and have held off for 3 weeks. I wanted to give a slightly thought out review. Honestly? I cant recommend this place to a friend. I want to, but I cant.

Holy cow. I think I can die happy. I really love chili oil so I have found my new favorite love. I ordered way to much food. My only complaint is that the drink menu is small. They have milk tea, tea and melon juice, thats about it. I ordered the spicy won ton soup. Yum yum. The stick lamb was out of this world and the fish was perfect in the fish and pork spicy plate in chili oil. I can not wait to go back!

If you want truly authentic Chinese food, this is apparently the place to go. Ive actually only been here once because the first time I went here, their food was so exotic for my American tastes that I was only brave enough to try a few things. They say that most Chinese places in the U.S. are Americanized because we like things so much sweeter and we only like the traditional cuts of the meats we eat, and after going to Frice, I can attest to that. But all of my friends from China swear by this place and order here all the time and everything I did try there was pretty good. Ive been meaning to go back and try it again to force myself to push my boundaries a bit more but I guess Ive just been chicken. Not bad food, if youre brave enough to try it.

I got two lamb dishes (one fried and one with green onion), the taste was okay but it was too greasy for my taste. Also the one on small sticks was really spicy, beware if you dont like spicy food. The quality of food was good and maybe other dishes are not that greasy.

We ordered the marinated meet in baked buns. one pack has three of them and a soup. these are the best buns we have - they are a mix of Shaanxi mo and Sichuan flavored meet. very juicy/tasty. the egg drop soup is very delicious too, with the nice parsley smell, a great complement to the buns. in general this dish is great and a must-try!

Not the Frice Szechuan I know anymore. I loved this place before when I lived around, the dishes were delicious and there was a friendly lady server(maybe like 2 years ago). But now the new 2 servers serve terribly, even a buffet server work better than them…at least there would be a bill placing on my table.

Hands down my favorite IE Szechuan food. If you’re looking for authentic, this is the place. Toothpick lamb is the one dish I consistently get, and I’ve tried a bunch of others here and always been reminded of being back in China. It’s definitely worth it if you’re local!

This place has some really authentic tasting szechuan cuisine. I had the spicy chicken and kung pow chicken with some fried rice and it was great. The menu gave three chilies for the spicy chicken and I must say its not as hot as I had imagined but it did deliver the heat and buzz from real szechuan peppercorns and tones of other chilies. If you like heat and down home Asian cuisine give this spot a try. Also lots of fish and lamb dishes available, plenty of dishes Ive never seen in riverside before. Service was friendly and fast. Great tea.

This place is one of the rare few authentic Chinese restaurants in Riverside. The Chinese food is AMAZING. The only reason Im removing a star is because they provide a few conventional americanized dishes. This would not normally be a problem since you dont have to order what you dont like except they do these specific dishes very badly.

I really like this place I got the Kung poa chicken and it was amazing I also got the hot and sour soup I wish i had known just how big it was. I saw boats moving about and people swimming in my bowl. Ok, its not that big but it is pretty close to half a gallon.I saw other reviews mention the stick lamb . I didnt get it but it looks really good I will have to try that tomorrow.

This restaurant is soooo good. So usually Im a wuss for spicy food, but the food here (maybe its Szhechuan food in general) is spicy in a water-soluble kind of way, so you just chase it with water and be ok. As a result I can eat much spicier things than normal and not die. Everything tastes great too. Amazing!

Excellent place to get authentic (Si Chuan / Szhecuan) Chinese food. Generally not too spicy, but a vast portion of the dishes are indeed spicy. Some dishes overdo the oil, but everything is generally good.MaPo tofu and shredded potato are great.

Worst experience I have ever had in a Chinese restaurant. I ordered togo and they did not pack the food well enough so the red and hot spicy oil has dripped all over my car and white yeezys which is really hard to wash off. I called back to see if there is anything they can do to help me with it and they have an attitude and does not want to take the responsibility at all. I am just speechless because of the way they talk and treat me on the phone is just furious and unreasonable. Also they are missing one dish that I have ordered and they charged me for it, will never go back again.

This is absolutely the best Chinese Szechuan spicy food in Riverside area if you are looking for orthodox REAL Chinese cuisine.I highly recommend Kongpao Chicken and tooth pick lamb. I went to other Taiwanese restaurants in the same plaza several times and I know they cook Kongpao chicken with instant ready-to-eat materials and seasonings which tastes kinda like eating fast food. But Firce not. What they offer has exactly the same amazing flavor that I had back in China.For the tooth pick lamb, I actually think they offer the best lamb in that area. The tooth pick lamb is just fine seasoned, and just well fried, its important not to over-fried because the lamb would be dry and tasteless.Ive tasted every restaurant in the plaza and I think Frice is really great. kongpao chicken, a tooth pick lamb, plus a side of steamed rice, I got my day there.

This restaurant is closed from 3p-430p. We didnt know this when we arrived and it should have been noted as part of their web presence. That said, we arrived at 423p and the dining room had a number of people sitting about and no one made an effort to provide any kind of customer service whatsoever. I ordered three dishes, none of which were delicious, except that it was salty. The whole fish is not very fresh, the fried fish is old and dry, and then put a lot of salt, it is salty and bitter. The fragrant dry fried shredded pork really has no taste except salty and bitter. The sweet and sour pork fried into dead gnocchi...what a waste of money! I really dont know that such a chef can still make money in a restaurant... It is a miracle that such a restaurant does not close. Will never order from this restaurant again!

How lazy are you chefs to make the Family Portrait dish exactly the same as Maoxuewangs, to make the dry-pot potatoes and spicy chicken taste the same? Putting aside the taste of the food, the attitude of the boss and his staff made me very uncomfortable. This is my first negative review, dedicated to Bashu.First, we packed it up and took it away. We put our things in the car and drove home for five minutes. During the whole process, the things we packed were not knocked over, so we didn’t know there was an oil leak when we took the car out. The oil leaked out of the hot and sour noodles that had not been properly capped, and the bag was torn, so that I later found oil on my shoes in the car.Second, my boss’s way and attitude of solving and handling problems made me extremely unhappy. Call the boss. The boss interrupted before we could finish explaining the whole story. The dish leaked oil. Take the dish back and Ill give you a new one. There was no apology in the way he spoke, as if he was dismissing others casually. Later, we explained the whole story again, and the boss said, if you take all the dishes back, I will refund your money. His attitude was extremely impatient. I emphasized that the lid of the hot and sour noodle package was open. The boss argued that I didn’t know why the car was in a panic when you put it in the car. First of all, as a boss, if your employee makes a mistake, your first reaction is not to apologize and make excuses again and again. Still shirking responsibility, I just want to ask everyone, is the lid for packaging hot and sour noodles open a crack? It is indeed possible if it overturns in the car, but in the case of overturning, the lid must be fully open or at least half open. I don’t know what the boss thinks that the car can open a crack for hot and sour noodles. . Secondly, your bag is leaking, and all the oil is flowing down from the bag. Since there are heavy items, can’t they be covered with an extra layer of plastic bags?It’s not that I want to find fault with this restaurant. I never leave negative reviews. I am really unhappy with the boss today and his insincere, impatient, and shirk-of-responsibility attitude.
