Great food. Good prices. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ordered yang chow fried rice and mango chicken. Meal also comes with a soup. P.S it was my first time here but I noticed people were ordered Thai Tea a lot so I got it to go. It was real good. Will be back eventually.

I really love good Chinese food and there are several places that I like for different reasons. I love this place for their orange chicken! It is by far the best Ive ever had, and Ive had a lot. It is so crisp and delicious I cant even describe it. I get extra orange sauce on the side to dip each piece into. Ive had other good orange chicken and none even come close to this place. Do they have the best all around food? No. Their food is solid but if they didnt have the orange chicken Id just go to a different place where I like other dishes better. But this place is very good with exceptional orange chicken. If you go on Mondays or Thursdays you can have David serve you, his service is excellent. The other days the service is just fair at best. If you go on the right day and get the right dish youll have a great experience.

Update 5/23/23Frontier Wok Too has been around Burbank for over 15 years. The Orange Chicken is excellent. It is crispy outside and soft inside. It comes with the perfect amount of orange sauce. This is one of the best selling dishes. The Kung Pao Chicken has the perfect amount of spice and sauce that goes well with the peanuts and veggies. Look at the vegetable plate. It is very welcoming. I highly recommend the Sweet and Sour soup. It has been a favorite of mine for over 15 years.I introduce Frontier Wok Too to anyone who comes in to the Burbank area. Everyone says it is delicious and always wants to return.Excellent orange chicken. I highly recommend to hot and sour soup as well with crunchy noodles on top

A pretty decent American Chinese restaurant, located in the Burbank area on Olive Ave. It was recommended by a friend who works at the BurbankUSD since I work around this area too. Their Orange Chicken and Mongolian Beef are great, better than others that serve the same foods. I love the Hot & Sour soup, it has the right amount of sourness to it, I added some chilli to make it taste even better. For lunch specials, you can choose from either white or fried rice for free, or brown rice for $1. You can also add extra veggies of your choices for $1 more. I do recommend this place if you are looking for a decent American Chinese restaurant.

Decided to visit based on the other reviews. This place is definitely small and can get busy really quick. The food was good, but my order contained items not listed on the menu description. I ordered takeout and didnt realize it until I had gotten home and had to take the food back. slightly overpriced for the portions. Next time, Ill dine in. Dishes pictured: Seafood delight (they were skimpy on the seafood), shrimp fried rice, chow fun.

Frontier Wok is my favorite place to grab Chinese food in Burbank. Unlike most establishments in the area, the portions are large and reasonably priced. I’m usually able to make three meals out of one of their platters. It’s really easy to order from their website, and the staff is always super friendly when I arrive to pick it up. Last time they even hooked it up with some extra BBQ sauce soI could glaze some baby back ribs I had slow cooking in the oven. Make sure to give Frontier Wok a try if you’re in the neighborhood - you won’t be disappointed.

We got the hot and sour soup & dim sum set here -Firstly, the hot and sour soup is good. However, the bao buns were strikingly similar to frozen ones from Trader Joe’s. We asked the waiter, and he did confirm that it’s bought in. My significant other and I have these buns in out freezer as we speak. While it tastes great regardless (and that’s why we bought em), it’s still undermined the rest of the meal. We have a hunch that most of the dim sum started as frozen food.

By all counts, the food here is considered good/tasty. However, I wouldnt know. We arrived at 8:28 PM (they close at 9 PM). Although the cooks still appeared to be preparing dishes - its not as though they were cleaning the grill to close up - we were told that orders were only to-go, given the time. We offered to eat quickly if we could just sit down. The answer was No, and actually, our kitchen closes at 8:30, so we left. The register woman wasnt rude, although we werent sure if any of what we were told was actually true. It didnt really matter. We didnt want to order at a time when clearly the staff just wants to get out of there, even though it was a full half hour to close. Thats how it is now at a lot of casual places.

The food here is so fantastic! I came here on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. There were lots of tables available so I didnt have to wait at all. I ordered the House Special chicken. Had high hopes. Good selection but poor meat quality. Too many Chinese restaurants rely on lesser quality chicken. Also, the Pad Thai lacked the spice that makes Pad Thai taste like Pad Thai. It was bland and gummy. Beautiful facility. Good service. Too bad.

Frontier Wok Too is the best Chinese food in the San Fernando Valley.I searched around the Burbank and North Hollywood areas for a few years trying to find the best Chinese food. The owner, and his incredibly talented cooks and waiters are simply amazing.Specifically, a young man of Hispanic heritage, whos been a waiter here for over 20 years! I truly wish I could remember his name, but hes funny, attentive, a hard worker, and just makes your dining experience all that more special! I was so happy to see him after a years absents due to COVID-19. In all the years that Ive been coming here I can honestly say that Ive never ordered anything that wasnt simply amazing!If youre ever in Burbank and craving Chinese food then this is your place. I had a craving for Chinese and this usually hits the spot and it did. I had the combination chow mein and had some barbecue pork as a side. The portions are generous as they should be for multiple people to eat but I was by myself and at least had some left overs for dinner. As far as taste got the chow mein was pretty good. The barbecue pork was good but it was a little to sweet for my taste. I do recommend giving them a try.

Avoid lunch here -- the daytime cooks are terrible. I hadnt been in ages for lunch and was reminded today why: wrong meal (was correct on order), and the brown rice that they charge extra for was severely undercooked (apparently, the daytime people dont know that brown rice doesnt cook the same as white rice). Usually, whenever Im craving Chinese food, I go to Century Dragon. But after a while, I was ready for change and found many Redditors eagerly recommending Frontier Wok Too, Gourmet 88, and Joy Feast for good Chinese in Burbank. I went with Frontier.Portion sizes are very generous. Took only 15 minutes for all my 4 dishes. They were very accommodating to making my Pad Thai veggie-only. I found the food here to be significantly less greasy/oily than other Chinese and Thai places Ive tried in the past. I parked by the curb, went in and placed my order, and in 15 minutes, came in to grab my food out. It was hot and fresh and I could smell these facts from the shopper bag alone.One star off because I just was NOT expecting the price to be THAT high for everything I ordered. $51.30 plus $4 tax? i have never in my life paid so much for a single meal visit. Granted, Im well aware that shrimps cost dollars extra and Chinese food places are, in general, very expensive, but goodness gracious, this was a highly expensive visit for me for food that lasted me 3 days in total (both meals). Good quality Chinese, but the price is just too off-putting for me.I highly recommend the Pad Thai, Sweet and Sour Shrimp, and Fortune Cookies here. Yes, I count the fortune cookies here as a snack and they are the best ones Ive ever tried so far. Great end to a meal.

The survace is fast and very friendly, I ordered pad thai which in their restaurant normally doesnt come with peanuts, but because we asked for it the server went into to break room and mashed up some peanuts and gave them too us.Their portions are large and enough to fill you up 2 fold.
