Price is meaningless if the food is terrible or Just Ok. Here at Fu Wing Low the family has prepared, cooked and served some of the Best Chinese Food in the OC area for over an Amazing 43 years. I love my combination Chow mein to have thin noodles not super thick Yuck these noodles made for a light dish when prepared right. FWL makes mine specifically 🔥🥵 and it is Fantastic. The Kung Pow Beef also 🔥🥵 without Peanuts 🥜 or Water Chestnuts is to Die For. The Spicy Fried Shrimp Nice & Big served with diced California Habanero Chilies 🌶️ and served with Sweet sauce is Soo Good You Cry and Die and Sweat all at the same time. I love this Family of dedicated Lovers of serving some of the Best of the Best Real Szechuan Family Chinese food in the Southern California Beach Cities. Come by and join me on a Saturday and enjoy some of what gives Spice and Flavor to Life.

Doesnt look like much when you walk by, its low key and not fancy but OHHH its so worth visiting. The taste is very light and homey, its not greasy or over sauced. The food was really quality -- probably the best sweet and sour chicken I ever had. They made it so intricate and flavorful. Highly recommend coming here. The quality is unmatched. Great food and portion sizes!

Gem of a Chinese restaurant... The service is great, and the prices very reasonable. Their food is tasty, with fairly generous portions. If you have a large group (>4) it may be best to call and make a reservation ahead of time, especially during their busier hours...The restaurant is family owned/operated (mostly), and their recipes have been passed from one generation to the next. They are good, quality folk who run a clean kitchen, and an honest business.Definitely worth trying out if you are in the mood for Chinese food, and find yourself near Mile Square Park.

I did some research and found this whole in the wall chineese food joint. And i mean whole in the wall, nothing has been updated in years. I had such high hopes of this being my new chineese spot but there were some issues. I got the Mongolian beef lunch special with hot and sour soup, vegetable spring roll, fried rice. The soup and spring roll were ok but the fried rice and Mongolian beef were not desireable. When i ordered fried rice i expected there to be veggies in it, carrots, peas, onions...anything! But there was nothing, the fried rice was barren and dry. The Mongolian beef had a wierd taste like they only used oyster sauce without brown sugar and soy sauce. On a brighter note, the young gentleman helping all the customers was very nice.

This is a small family owned restaurant. The service is great and food is made fresh, so please be prepared to wait a little, especially since they get many phone orders. I have the house special pan fried noodles with no veggies. Noodles were cooked great, just enough sauce, and there were several shrimp with the beef and chicken.Hubby got the Mopa Tofu and it was yummy. He asked for less salt and it was perfect. The tofu was plentiful and the sauce flavorful. They give you a large pot of hot tea, instead of those tiny pots. The restaurant is clean and the staff remember you, but they do get busy. If coming with a party of more than 4, call ahead and book as there are only 3 LARGE party tables. We will definitely keep coming back as their food is always good.

I came into this place with my family expecting a simple chinese dinner, but i did not leave satisfied at all. it was hilariously terrible quality and the food was off, lacking basic flavor, texture, and overall contentment with each bite. i was quite disappointed, however the atmosphere and service of the restaurant wasnt the worst. the servers provide recommendations and can be helpful. i dont know about anyone else, but the place itself felt shady and uncomfortable to eat in. overall, i did not enjoy my time there. will never voluntary come back. fu wing TOO low 😮‍💨😮‍💨

Some of these reviewers must be out of their minds! This is the best food ever!Chinese food is often flavorful but too greasy and/or sweet. Fu is all about the flavor without all that.Their wonton soup is second to none! It’s subtle and not too salty with a rich flavor that warms you up to the bone. I’ve personally seen this soup cure illnesses. The family that owns and operates the restaurant is friendly and extremely welcoming.

Average Chinese food. The wonton soup is just chicken broth. The wonton dumpling has just a tiny spec of meat inside. The crab wontons also just have a tiny spec of meat inside. The egg rolls are average. The fried rice is good. The orange chicken is great.
