Tonight was the first time trying Fuji Sushi, my boyfriend and I placed our order online. They did everything we asked in regards to specifics to our order, it was perfect. We ordered 2 rolls and the beef combo plate. The portions were sufficient and the food was fresh. The beef was so tender and delicious. The rolls were perfect and the sauces were delicious. Will be back.

I am not a sushi lover, however they offer bento boxes or rice bowls for those who don’t appreciate sushi. I did try the California Roll and I gotta tell you that it was pretty darn good. Perfect amount of crisp, spice, and avocado. The ingredients tasted fresh and hot. I will definitely return to try something else new. I recommend calling in your order if you will be doing take out. This place is popular and can get busy around lunch and dinner.

Honestly not my favorite sushi that I’ve had. The sushi was very basic and there wasn’t much variety. The staff was great very friendly and they made sure to ask if we we needed anything. We tried 6 different rolls and they were okay. The goyosa and miso soup were our favorite of the night. This place does not know how to make a Philly roll with salmon cream cheese and avocado. You can make a custom order from a Alaskan roll but its going to cost you $13, which is outrageous. No thanks

I love this place! Just be prepared to wait and be patient as they could have people training. Ordered to go and waited 20min +and by the time my roll I picked up, it was super soggy and not really eatable. They said this roll tend to sog.... idk... four starts though! Not bad a place to dine in.

Ive had good experiences here but this last one was the worst customer service Ive had anywhere in a while. I made an online order and my husband picked it up for me. They gave him the wrong order and he had to drive from Hughson back to get my actual order. Their first question was did you touch the food. They were irritated they had to refund and give my actual food back.When I got my food, my croquettes and tenpura were soggy and cold, my sushi was WARM, and my miso soup was cold. Its clear to me that they gave me the same food they accidentally switched and gave to the other person, who took it HOME then brought back. They gave me the same food 2 hours after my order was made.I didnt even end up eating it because Im not convinced it was fresh and that someone else may have touched the food before giving it to me. Im honestly surprised at this reaction by them. I dont know that I will be coming back after the awful service my husband and I received. They were clearly mad at US for their mistake. I understand people make mistakes, but they should have made it right. The least they should have done was give me fresh food. Im so disappointed.

To start I’m a frequent customer and have been coming here for years. Love the food and love that it’s a smaller place!But I dropped a star due to their new hires. The two newer girls are terrible. They are rude, inattentive, and down right sour. I love the other girls that work there they are so sweet and two of them are mom and daughter I believe. Just so great. It’s so sad that their kindness is being overshadowed but the horrid attitudes of the other to women in there.

They were busy and definitely in need of another staff person. Service was slow.*update 8/26/23: I called to order at 6p, they would pick up and hang up. Thinking it was my phone, I used my nephews phone to call and order. Call went through and they answered, made my simple order for takeout at 620p, was told 25 minutes, I left my house after 25 minutes had lapsed, got there 10 minutes later due to traffic. Place wasnt busy, but its amazing how they dont even look or call out to you when you walk in. Paid, and waited said it would be a few minutes. While waiting, there was another lady who arrived and ordered after me, they pushed her order before everyone elses - uh, thats not okay. After 20 minutes of waiting my food was ready, thanked them and left. Im not planning on going back. Food was okay: ordered the 2 for $34 (miso soups, goyza, lion king roll [not baked], and smoky joe) and a tempura udon. Nothing complicated. Either take orders and serve in order received or lose customers. Theyve lost me.

Not good. Sushi rolls tiny, tuna mushy, tasteless. Chicken teriyaki rubbery, probably boiled rather than grilled. Teriyaki sauce poured over rather than chicken being cooked in it. Service terrible with attitude. Servers yelling and laughing with each other at high volume. Skip this place. There are many and better options…

The hostess needs to learn some customer service skills. She asked for our drink order and then barked “we don’t have any” when Diet Pepsi was requested. Then we asked for a fork and again with attitude she said “ok” the tempura was hard and you could tell the oil was re-used too many times. We probably won’t be back.

Definitely not 4.5 stars. Been eating sushi for a long. There have been too many sushi places all over California and a few in other states that top this place. All the sauces on the rolls were pretty much the same. Way too sweet. Had a lot of sushi. Had to do ok reviews but it definitely was just ok. Not bad. Just not good. Waste of 60 dollars. Wont be going back. Too many sushi options to go back.

Love coming here every-now-and-then. I’ve had sushi at several Bay Area and Central Valley locations and this place is kinda the same with the food taste and menu options. However, it differs with the welcoming staff and attentive customer service. Their Dragon, King and Fuji rolls are delicious. Also their miso soup is super tasty.

For $103 for a party of 3. I was highly disappointed based of the reviews and the outcome. I ordwr 3 different sushi rolls and they all tastes exactly the same. Bento Box meat was rubbery and over cooked, everything over sauced. Seafood in Ramen Soup was extremely overcooked and tough. Would love to say Id try it again for this one is a no for us. Entire party left unpleased.

Very disappointing. The edamame was super overcooked and disintegrated on your mouth, good flavor for the spicy ones but very hard to eat. We got the Rainbow roll and the Firecracker roll and both were very lack luster. The rolls were sliced soo thin they were hard to pick up and proceeded to fall apart once picked up. If i was paying $5 a roll i could understand it but these were $12 to $14 each.They had 2 waitresses one was nice the other seemed very bothered by us being there. My wife asked for some spicy mayo and the waitress basically threw and empty container on the table. We were able to get what we asked for from the nice waitress.

I checked this place out due to my normal spot being closed today. The food was alright. To be honest I got two sushi rolls and ramen soup. The rolls were messily made. The soup was okay. The service was not the best. There were two other couples in the restaurant. I had been there waiting for 10 min just to get my water. Then another few min to order. I was there for over an hour including eating time. My soup was out fairly quick. The rolls were done but sat on the counter for almost 20 min until the waitress decided to bring them over. It took almost ten min to get my check. I may have gone on a bad day. I’m sure this place is usually good. But I unfortunately had a bad experience which is why I gave it one star. Hope your experience is better than mine. I personally am going to stick to my regular place.

Server Kaci was the rudest server I’ve probably ever had. All of the workers there are straight out mean not welcoming whatsoever. They also put a $10 tip on my tab without even asking me if I wanted to add a tip. Then argued and yelled at us saying that every restaurant forces tip?? I’m sorry but don’t waste your time here ! What if the service wasn’t good at all and your server was rude to you and you didn’t want to tip? Tips are DESERVED!!!!! They definitely didn’t deserve tips whatsoever.

First of we are regulars and we come here from out of town. We live an hour away. They close at 9:30 PM on Saturdays we arrive a little after 9 PM. We felt so unwelcome and the waitress who was Caucasian was not being friendly at all, all because we were there at a little after 9 PM. We had to rush our order and my fiancé felt very unwelcome and awkward. This is the most horrific and most terrible sushi restaurant service I have ever witnessed in my life and Im almost 40 years old. We are never going to come back to this place ever again I recommend the food but do not dine in 30 minutes before closing time! FUJI TURLOCK SERVICE SUCKS MORE THAN MCDONALDS! The food is good, nothing extraordinary but for their prices, you cant go wrong. They have a deal called 2 for $25 where you and another person can choose between soup or salad, and then choose an appetizer, and then choose 2 different rolls from a pretty good selection AND you get a free 4-piece California roll included--my husband is a huge fan. The place looks like its aimed at college students and has a cool relaxed atmosphere. Ive never had a bad experience here, or anything close to it. The staff are friendly and attentive.

I’ve ordered there many many times before and I’ve never had this issue. It seems as though they have hired new people who really don’t how to run the place properly. I got someone else’s order and when I called to let them know they blame it on my niece saying she confirmed the order…which is a complete lie!! I asked for a refund for the things I didn’t get but the girl says she can’t because my niece supposedly confirmed the order. Lunch time visit. Service was good and friendly. Prompt for the most part. No complaints. Food was good. Rolls were pretty much what youd expect at any sushi restaurant. Nothing crazy, but not entirely dull. Menu had some variety. Nigiri is very well portioned, and flavorful. The 2 for 26$ special is a great deal. Its a nice, clean spot. I ate like a total pig and walked out of there spending less than 35$ Including the tip. Thats not terrible.

Just moved over here and on the hunt for good sushi. I feel bad because my standards are really high from my old favorite spot, but I have to be honest. The salad dressing is not the regular sesame dressing, it was not good. We ordered lion king rolls: good but not the same. Probably not staffed correctly for the amount of business that they do.The food was good, but nothing extraordinary. The roles were done well but the raw fish on the nigiri was not as fresh as at my favorite places. Also, they use a larger amount of vinegar in their rice that I am used to so it had a bit of a more sweet taste to it. Not my personal preference.They allow you to order online for pickup so this place is definitely a convenience instead of an atmosphere type of dining experience.

Great food, good portions. My husband and I were shopping in Turlock but from Los Banos, so we wanted to have dinner before going home. Its Xmas, its quarantine, so we ordered our food, watched an episode from our show in the car, and had some amazing sushi. There was one roll my husband ordered that I was not too big a fan of, but the baked roll and the roll with tempura were really yummy. Wish we took photos of it, but we couldnt wait to eat it. Will be back next time.

I ordered delivery. The fish is not good, and the rice tasted old. I like to taste the fish when I eat sushi, so I dont get the kinds with lots of sauce. I got the octopus, ahi tuna, and eel nigiri. I also got spicy oyster in the shell. All of it was too tough to actually be fresh. Idk if the drop in business due to covid is making them use old ingredients or what, but I would not recommend them if you like your sushi fresh.

Had dinner there last night, food was so delicious! I had the Philli Roll, crab salad in the middle with cucumber and Philli cheese. Toasted Sesame seeds on the outside - it was sooo good. I also had the Lion King Roll, a baked roll. It had salmon on top with sweet teriyaki and sirracha sauce on top, it was amazingly delicious.The place is clean, friendly, and comfy. Looking forward to going there again!

One of my favorite sushi spots in town. Service is great and the sushi is on point. I recommend the sea steak nigiri. For those that do not want to try anything raw, they do have cooked food. You can order there lunch and dinner combos like chicken teriyaki or even try the donburi bowls. The tonkatsu bowl is great.

I got really bad food poisoning from this place yesterday, I have been in bed all day (besides the puking), the eel that they had didnt taste how it should be it was really fishy . It also smelt really weird in the restaurant at the end of my meal . I wont be visiting here again 😡
