2023-09-28 14:15:43Oh my!This place is comfort food vibes. The ramen broth is amazing, and although I was hesitant about eating Pork Belly, they extra cooked it for me and I was good. The Honey Garlic Chicken, I can eat ALL DAY! Mmm, crunchy on the outside but nice and tender on the inside. The portions are just right, I didn’t even finish mine and left with a food coma! lolThe service is GREAT, the young man and woman working together were just the sweetest and always had a smile on their face. There is limited seating, with about 6-7 tables and 3 counter tops. We put our name to be texted for a table and had to wait about 10 min.Such a cute place, will definitely be back!

2023-10-10 09:31:12I like how their menu is color coded and has good descriptions to make a choice when I first came. I was really surprised to see Pesto and Ramen. I got more curious and tried the broth less soba as well. Wish they had more besides chashu (pork belly) and the mochi was disappointing.

2022-09-20 19:37:35Our go to for rainy day, evening soup cravings! Delicious ramen ingredients and the broth is full of flavor. I always ask for extra chashu because it’s so good. The fries are delicious as well and because they have delicious toppings and sauces. There is limited seating and feels like a hole in the wall joint. It is super clean inside. If you come in the evenings, expect a waitlist but it usually goes by fast. It’s is electronic as well so you are notified by text. Usually within a 10-20 minute wait.5 stars for flavor, speed, friendliness, clean location!

2023-11-28 02:33:24I’ve traveled the world and had ramen in Tokyo, Kyoto, SoCal, NYC, etc…to me, this place is so good and by far one of my favs in the states. My fiancé and I kinda stumbled into Fukumi by accident after we were both craving ramen…now we come back every single time we’re back in the Sacramento area. The ramen is delicious and well worth it!

2023-01-15 02:17:12Ramen is ok overall, not worth the price though. We ordered 2 bowls online to go and the price was higher than their posted menu, $18.25 each.Broth was bland but oily. Noodles were good but seemed like they had been sitting in the pre packaged to go container for a while. Toppings seemed light, only 2 small pieces of pork. The food may be better (and cheaper) dining in.

2022-11-13 20:50:20We visited Fukumi Ramen in September for dinner but unfortunately they were still close for dine in. So, we ordered the food for take out.- Miso tonkotsu ramen: it came with green onion, bean sprout, corn, egg, and 2 piece of chashu. The noodle was good (firm & chewy) but tasted more like chinese egg noodle instead of Japanese ramen noodle. The chashu pieces were flavorful and tender but the pieces were small. The broth was thick and flavorful. For the price, the portion was small & I wish they gave bigger pieces of chashu- Chicken mayo bowl: the chicken pieces were crispy and flavorful. They gave thin layer of rice underneath the chicken pieces. Again, it wasn’t worth the price.Tastewise, the food was good. I was disappointed for the small portion given the price. I will try to do dine in to see if the portion is better. So, solid 3.5 stars for take out

2022-11-06 06:22:00We have tried Fukumi a few times and it’s a great ramen restaurant. The menu has several options and sides to try. My favorite is an amazing Midori Ramen that’s quite unique, it’s a blend of miso and basil pesto.

2022-11-17 06:46:24I ordered takeout here for the first time and chose the Midori Ramen and a Kids Ramen (added $2 to include a seasoned egg) through Toast. My son enjoyed the kids ramen but was just a little disappointed that it didnt come with Naruto.I really enjoyed the Midori Ramen. I was already interested by the name (I believe Midori can mean green in Japanese) and the broth is indeed green with basil and pesto, which Ive never had in a ramen broth before and had to try. Everything was pretty much delicious for about $16 for the Midori Ramen. The quality is great. The broth tasted rich and flavorful and the noodles were filling. The chasu seemed a bit more on the fatty side (just the way I like it) but it was thick and juicy. My only complaint about it is that there were few portions of the chasu yet it was sooo good. The egg was sliced in half and a little bit soft boiled (I wish it was more soft boiled) but I guess its a good balance for those who might not like their yolk to be too runny. I only give it 4 stars because of the bean sprouts. I just dont think watery, crunchy sprouts pair well with this ramen so since I ordered takeout, I chopped up some woodear mushrooms and tossed them in and the ramen tasted so much better. The parking lot was tight/small/cramped and I was lucky to find a spot to park but thankfully, my experience with the restaurants service was quick. My order was already ready by the time I arrived at the restaurant, before the ETA given. The staff was friendly; they greeted me and asked for the name of the order and verified the order with me before handing it over. I dont live in this area and its about a 30 minute drive from my home so I probably wont frequent this ramen shop but I had a lovely takeout experience so I might consider heading back here again someday.

2023-03-22 03:33:32I am so going to be a regular at this Ramen house. Our first time was last night and holy smokes it was good. We got the Midori Ramen & the Classic Ramen with some Okonomi Fries and Edamame. The Okonomi Fries are delicious with with the brown sauce, the red ginger, green onions, and the chopped pork. I loved the Midori Ramen with the large chucks of Pork Chashu and the deep pesto flavoring. Dinner was wonderful.
