Love their food and the fact they have so many vegan options. Great when ordering for a group that it’s mixed between vegans and non vegans. No one feels short changed. The vegan options area as good as the meat. The kung pao chicken is my favorite, vegan or meat it’s the best!Their lunch specials are a great deal!

Great hosts, really kind. This is like an oasis you step into, away from the busy road. Really clean and fresh looking. The staff is really nice and you can tell that they love what they do. The vegan food is cooked separately from meat related items I was informed. I had the curry with tofu as well as some fried rice and it was really tasty. The veggies were a bit on the soft side and the fried rice had a little more oil in it than usual but I couldn’t criticize the flavor, really tasty. I’m amazed at how many vegan and vegetarian options there are in San Diego, really grateful for that. Parking was tricky because it’s a thin strip of road along all the stores on this row. That had nothing to do with the restaurant and its food though, which I would gladly visit and eat again. Thank you!

Small restaurant tucked in a strip mall. Relied upon reviews and happy we did. Clean main foors and tables. Bathroom could use a scrub but useable and not offensive. Friendly front person welcomed us upon entry and asked if it was our first time. When we said yes, he described the layout of the menu to us. Nice variety of menu options w some vegetarian and others with beef and chicken thighs. Nice flavors and presentation. If you order beer in a bottle, be sure to bring your own bottle opener. No joke- they did not have any way to open the bottle and couldnt exchange the drink for us.

Lots of places claim to be Asian fusion and then serve up things like orange chicken. Thankfully this place doesnt do that. Fusion Eats has a menu that is well thought out and diverse with optics for vegetarians and those without dietary restrictions. The food is made to order so it might take a minute but it is well worth it. The katsu chicken bao burger is a very interesting blend of an amalgamation of foods and it is very tasty. I highly recommend it! The bulgogi burrito is also very good.

Really great Asian fusion, perfect for take out, with an additional fully vegan menu. Good food and friendly service. Whats not to love?Must tries: crispy avocado rolls (vegan friendly), vegan chicken kung Pao, vegan curry with quinoa, edamame and kale ($1 upgrade - totally worth it!)

I’m vegan, but my family isn’t so a restaurant that would make everyone happy was essential. Fusion was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Friendly staff and awesome food! I got the vegan kung pao chicken and loved it so much I ordered another meal to bring home.

Tasted good. It wasnt what I was expecting. Its definitely not the usual kung pao that I order anywhere else, which is what I thought i was going to get, but it did do the job 😋 and now Im intrigued to try the rest of their menu. It was heavy on the garlic so I wouldnt recommend it as your lunch break meal, but if youre having dinner and craving some serious 🧄, this is your dish. Batter was good (also something I didnt expect was for it to be battered). Im always open to different interpretations and maybe I shouldnt be surprised because it is a FUSION cuisine. The rice was nice and soft and broccoli was cooked pretty well/almost perfect. Ill be here next week to peruse the menu.

We had vegan Kang Pao chicken and orange chicken. Kang Pao was very tasty. Orange chicken was crisp, and came with a sweet sauce on the side. We will probably try some other vegan dishes but Kang Pao is our favorite so far.

Im always a bit skeptical about fusion places. This one wasnt very busy at lunch but the atmosphere was great. Excellent music selection, public bathrooms, and an extensive menu.I got the orange chicken with brown rice. It was very tasty and the take on the orange chicken is unlike anything I normally see. It came with the sauce on the side for dipping/pouring and it was 🔥🔥🔥 id definitely come back.

Order 2 lunch specials to go, the chicken teriyaki was very dry barely any sauce, and the orange chicken looked like plain deep fried chicken with no flavor. Then when we ordered extra sauce, we were given a thimble size soy sauce. We wont order from there again, was such a let down.

I had the Kung Pao Chicken and it was delicious! It had a crunchy texture and rich flavor. I had it with a side of rice and broccoli. The shrimp spring rolls were the real deal, the shrimp actually pops like real shrimp! My partner had the Po Boy shrimp, which they thought was full of textures and flavor as well. It is a big sandwich packed with creamy sauce and medium sized shrimp. It smelled fishy too, which really makes you think of true shrimp. You wont be disappointed and the decor is a rustic style.

Went here a few months ago. The food was ok (probably 3 stars), but the service was super slow. It took 45 minutes to get our food, despite there only being one other table in the restaurant. Our food was cold by the time we got it too.Also, the table next to us ordered one of the vegan options but got regular meat. We didnt have any vegans in our group, but its probably worth double or triple checking if thats important to you.

Food is generally really good (a few times chicken was over-cooked and very chewy). Weve ordered here 5+ times and lately they always forget the drinks/desserts. The first time Im thinking its an honest mistake. But after that? Really? So, five stars if you want a super costly diet.

Amazing food! So much gluten free and vegan food! It was all delicious. The space is really pretty as well. Everybody who worked there was helpful and nice and it was just a really really nice eating experience. We will definitely be back and soon!

Amazing vegan food, which is very hard to find. Im very impressed with the quality and flavor at Fusion Eats. I ordered vegan avocado rolls and vegan orange chicken; both were fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, only 3 stars, for a specific reason. Hopefully it will work out to give F. E. another chance.Update: As of this week, I visited F.E. again. The vegan main dish was wonderful as was the staff. The garlic edamame was not so great; rather soggy and difficult to eat; I dont like to waste food, but it wasnt edible. Overall, adding a star due to the enthusiasm on the part of the staff and the vegan options offered. Id like to see vegan menu items of high quality such as the majority of those offered at F.E. at more dining facilities in the area.

Tried this place out passing by to take my dog to the vet. I tried the Kung Pao chicken and wow it was crispy. I love the texture of crispness and it was perfect. It may be different than what I’m used to but it was a good different. The staff was extremely friendly and the place looked really pretty. I ordered a chicken bulgogi burrito and it was out of this world! Nothing I have tasted before. The side of spicy Mayo and wanton chips was the perfect paring. I will definitely be back!!

As a vegan I should love this place. Good vegan options, cooked in a separate place to avoid cross-contamination.However. Every time I eat here, I get a stomach ache and sometimes GI problems. Eek. Ive tried the tofu and mock meats, same effect. Not sure what it is but I just cant eat here too often.Lastly, dont order the Thai Iced Tea, its $4.50+ for anvup FULL of ice and some liquid. I only get about 6 sips before its gone. Not worth the price.

Cutest little stop added to the Linda Vista neighborhood! They are currently open for their soft opening in a little strip mall area from 12-8pm, closed Monday. They offer the tastiest Asian & Vegan Fusion dishes.The interior design is so beautifully setup with a modern twist. They also have the friendliest staff! Open for take out only but they have a small outdoor patio area (shaded too)!The food was delicious, very simple to the point. With high quality ingredients you dont have to make it hard. I ordered the beef & broccoli, crunch avocado rolls, and strawberry lemonade.Everything was so tasty! The beef & broccoli was perfectly seasoned with a touch of soy sauce and ginger, crunchy steamed broccoli and tender top sirloin beef. And OH-MY-GOD, the avocado rolls. SO GOOD. Filled with 80% avocado fried to a crisp served with house-made garlic sauce.The strawberry lemonade was perfectly refreshing, a tad too sweet, so you might want to ask for less sweet if youre not a fan of sweet drinks.Freshly made lemonade, topped with mixed berries, sweet basil seeds & your choice of flavor.Be sure to check them out, you wont be sorry!!

The Bao Burger is HUGE. Comes with fries and sauce at ~$13.50. It tasted amazing. Partner loved it.I got the orange chicken with steamed broccoli and rice for ~$12. Tasted great. Service was cool. I think the a/c was broken but I came for the food and it was killer.

Good Avocado and Shrimp summer rolls. Very fresh and light tasting. The young man who took our order and delivered it to us was super friendly, and ensured everything was great for us. Definitely would like to try other dishes. I also loved that they give you 5% off for using cash.

We happened to be getting fitted for a tux next door and discovered this hidden gem. Not only was the customer service wonderful but the food is absolutely EXCELLANT! We ordered the orange chicken and kung pao chicken and both were so tasty. Highly recommend this place. They are also on postmates. We will be coming back at least once a week.

I LOVE this place! Dont let its small exterior fool you, this quaint & chill restaurant NEVER disappoints when it comes to customer service, & the quality & taste of the food. I ordered for Kung pao chicken lunch. The chicken looks dry and reheated by the microwave!?! The chicken meat itself wasnt that hot and steamy! Looks like they used the cooked leftover chicken from yesterday for me!?! So blow standard. I expected food ready on the schedule time and I noticed my food was on the pick up counter 15 minutes early. What a disappointment..

My family and I are visiting family from Ohio. We wanted to try something different. We tried Fusion Eats on a whim. We tried several dishes, egg rolls,and chicken wings. We had to drive an hour to our hotel and the food was still delicious! The ingredients were fresh and cooked well. We will eat here again if come back.

The best vegan restaurant in SoCal. We were welcomed greatly by the young boy working there. He offered his help if we had any questions. The dishes were fantastic and fresh. If I had a super huge stomach I would want to try everything. The place has a good vibe and is clean. We can feel very peaceful in this beautiful surrounding. Go support this new vegan place.

I had lunch from Fusion Eats today and it was excellent!! I had the Orange Chicken lunch special and a custom made, no sugar added, mojito. Both were SUPER yum! I’m already looking forward to going back to try the poke bowl/salad and the beef bulgogi burrito. I played it safe today...I work close-by and am so happy to have a new, superb, locally-owned, creative, culinary option for lunch. I applaud the owners... Opening a new restaurant “during these times” is incredibly courageous! I will definitely be back and will be recommending Fusion Eats to all of my coworkers and friends.

I love how healthy their food tastes. Idk if that even makes sense. Just not very greasy. Top 3 easily: kung pao, garlic wings, and fried rice. 😋I usually do take out but I dined in for lunch. We were the only ones there so it was quiet. Service was great. Theres a difference in portion for lunch vs dinner. Parking can be tricky as the lot is a bit tight.

While riding my bike I pass by the PurpleMint Kitchen. I’m a carnivore but enjoy all foods. My nose couldn’t resist the delicious aromas emanating from their open door so I wheeled in. I meet Tracy, whom is the owner and several of her family and staff. All very friendly. We chat about the recent influx of vegan options many mainstream restaurants are now offering like Burger King’s Impossible Burger. We also talk about the impact of COVID-19 on business and she informs me that they’ve only been open for 5-months. Opening a new vegan restaurant is hard enough and this crises isn’t helping. They’re considering adding meat dishes to their menu to attract more customers, but I’d like to see them stay true to their original vision.I ask for their recommendations with the caveat of whatever I can carry on my bike. They assure me they have sturdy togo containers, then rush to prepare me a curry potato dish with vermicelli noodles. I’m also given a complimentary vegan chocolate chip coffee. Another customer strolls in so I end my pestering and rush home to enjoy my new culinary discovery. In short, everything tasted very fresh and delicious 😋I plan to work my way through their menu and I suggest you give them a try even if you’re a carnivore like me.UPDATE: 09/29/2020“Fusion Eats”, formerly “The Purple Mint” has the same owners, but has streamlined their vegetarian options and added more meat options. I believe the “Fusion” references the fusion of different popular Asian dishes as opposed to American Asian fusion.Per my earlier review of the Purple Mint, before they changed their name and menu, the staff is still very personable and service oriented. On this visit, I tried their Curry Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, Korean Fries and Corn Cheese for take out.In short, everything toasted fresh and delicious, but the Korean fries were mind blowing yummy 🤯😋🤤

Unfortunately the chicken and rice were dry and chewy and the edemame wasnt flavorful for being covered in garlic sauce. The bahn mi had potential but was missing a spread or sauce. For nearly $50 expected a bit more.

I was looking for a nearby asian place to eat since we’re not from around the area and found this place. Customer service was honestly amazing. Helped my family of 5 with all of our needs. Place was also very clean and well kept. Lastly food was amazing! Very authentic. I truly loved the experience and food. Definitely recommend!
