This place has the perfect ambiance for a romantic night or to just cap off a day of wine tasting with a feast. Service was super fast, attentive, and polite, though they did try to sell us a bunch of drinks. The sides/salads were all pretty decent -- nothing I wouldnt eat again. All the meats were good (at a minimum), but some deserve shootouts: the ribeye was excellent, the crust on the spicy beef was amazing, the pork rib had an unexpectedly great flavor, the shrimp was flavorful and perfectly tender, the salmon cooked perfectly. We left stuffed and happy! The cheesy bread is exceptional, but I wouldnt eat too much if you want to have room for all the meats. Our server was kind enough to pack up a fresh batch for us to-go. This is a perfect addition to any itinerary when visiting Napa.

Phenomenal experience and out of this world food!Many varieties of beefs and styles... ranging in your preferences for rare to well done. -- I tries even the WELL DONE and it was still juicy and marvelous!The service are bussin here as they roam around the restaurant offering you their meats selection.This was overall a fantastic experience! OMG... can I give this place 6 STARS!The staff are above and beyond servers/waiters.... they ALL were truly the kindest staff and most attentive staff Ive ever seen. One even noticed I wasnt drinking a cocktail.I ordered and realized there was no way I liked it... he fixed the drink, and they took it off my bill. Also I asked about the uniforms and then two of them found an extra tie, gave me a demo, and made me into a guachera for a night!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

It was our first time there. The food was delicious. The salad bar was nice and fresh, with lots of options to choose from. All the meats were exceptional! Everything we put in our mouths was delicious. The ambiance was a bit dark, I wished there were more vegetable options, but the mashed potatoes and the cheese rolls were delicious! The fried bananas, pineapple, and cheese with honey were amazing! Id definitely go back again. Id go with an empty stomach to get my moneys worth! Good job to all the staff that work there. They were all VERY attentive to our needs, and we never once had to wait for more food! Its definitely a must try if youve never been, itss worth the experience your taste buds and stomachs will be pleased.

This is my preferred Brazillian Steakhouse in the Bay Area. Service is always on point, food is always great, the staff is very accommodating for large and small groups, plus the Carajillos are the best here. (Think of it as an expresso martini in a snifter glass, but waay better) Lamb, top sirloin, picaña spiced meats are delicious and the grilled, caramelized pineapple is a must.Pro tip: dont get full on the salad bar, bread and sides - but also dont miss the candied bacon and dont be afraid to request a dish!

Really nice place, the waiters are very courteous. Let space for the meats, don’t eat to much salads or drink to much water. Eat slowly to enjoy the “all you can eat” or you will be full early. I wish to see a Brazilian dessert included and not charged apart.

If there was a way to rate 6 stars, I would. We took the buffet, and it was $70/head. The salad was self-serve, and I was blown away by the salad bar. Im not going to lie when I say: this was where I probably had the juiciest tomato slice in ages. The meat was served, and you can continue getting served as long as you keep on displaying the green side of the card. Other food items that would stay etched in my memory are the complementary Brazilian cheese bread and chimichuri sauce. Among the meat servings, I loved the shrimp and the pork tenderloin the best. They also served the complementary fried banana, which was an amazingly tasty treat. Last, but not the least, they served an on-the-house tres leches cake for my birthday, and that honestly was amazing. It has been quite a few days now, but I still remember how the fluffy cake drenched in condensed milk felt in my mouthOverall, best lunch Ive had in a long, long time. If I could, I would visit again!

Wow!!! Awesome service and soooo many flavors and ALL of them are amazing! Salad bar is awesome but make sure you save room for your main course… the MEAT! Do not fill yourself up on bread, cheese, salad and sides because those meats, fish, chicken etc will keep coming! And TRY the pineapple!!!! Omg… there are not enough words to describe the awesome experience that we’ve had both times here. It’s not cheap! Be prepared to pay about $100 per person (includes tip) but it’s worth it!!!

It was my 34th Birthday and everyone kept thinking I was 21, and made me feel so special. Lucy was one of the absolute best waitresses that I have ever dined with and she truly made my night! Update 07/03/23: still amazing and one of our favorite places. They even asked us if we had any special requests for the meats. Birthday dessert on the house.Wow, we have been to a few Brazilian steakhouses and this is absolutely our new favorite. Everything was amazing and the salad didnt seem like an afterthought. The staff was extremely attentive and so so pleasant. We got our anniversary dessert on the house and it was perfectly cooked, just like all the meat served prior to it.

Absolutely love this restaurant. I ate here for the first time yesterday. I came hungry, and left super full. The staff were really good, stopping by every second to offer more meats! They weren’t greedy like some places are. Some restaurants stop by once a minute, and give small portions, hoping that you get more salads and bar stuff. Not this place. They WANT you to try out all their delicious meats. The lamb shank, pork belly, shrimp were all soooo good. Only the salmon was a little dry, but everything else was amazing. I had crime brûlée for dessert, and they perfected that too. Huge selection of Cocktails and wines to choose from.

Had a great dinner here. The salad bar had a wide variety of fresh choices and I easily filled my plate with fun tidbits to start with. And then they brought the meat. And the cinnamon crusted baked pineapple. (Of which I had seconds.)There was a whole row of side dishes that I didnt get to try because I was stuffed by then. And I couldnt fit in dessert either.Our one complaint was the salmon, which was dry and overcooked. But there was so much good food that we didnt really miss putting that one item off on the side.

A restaurant with exceptional service. From our arrival to departure, each one of the people who helped us went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and accommodate each of our requests. Talking about the meats, the lamb ribs, the grilled shrimp, pork and chicken wrapped in bacon, chicken leg and wings, picanha, sirloin, pan de queijo, mashed potatoes, chimi churri, grilled cheese with honey, the typical roasted pineapple with sugar and cinnamon, salmon with passion fruit cream, pork ribs, pork sausages... in short, I think I can skip some of the hot dishes served on the table. A fairly varied salad bar with artichokes, asparagus, cold salmon, capers, olives, vinaigrette onions, capresa salad and a wide variety of cold salads, which make an exceptional combination with meat. A well varied menu of wines and other spirits, on that particular day we chose Francis Coppola Red Blend Sonoma Valley and closed with a Patrón reposada Tequila, to help wash the meal down a bit. A good selection of desserts, from which we chose the Brasilian Boudin and found it delicious. I want to thank all the staff for their dedication, especially Nathalia, Rafael, Claudir, Marcio and Alejandro, excellent job!

We had lunch at Galpão before heading to our wine tasting. I really enjoyed the meats that they brought out. I loved the picanha, rib eye and the shrimp was delicious too. Even though I was so full, I had to get 2 more pieces of the shrimp. The grilled pineapple was so good to eat in between. I regret getting rice because I got a little full too early. I should have stuck to getting other options at the salad bar. The atmosphere was lovely, really clean and the time we went wasn’t crowded. Hope to come back again!

Overall its good place, but if you really just want to have Salmon or Shrimp, get ready to wait till the end of the course to get it ~ especially for salmon and they only give you half of the fish | dunno why. Other meat service is brilliant, they keep coming to give you more!They do clean the menu, table cloth, everyone is wearing gloves which is great ~ could be better if they are not handling dirty plates and then handling clean ones.

First time eating at a Brazilian steakhouse. Definitely a cool experience. They have a buffet style salad bar and sides that always get replaced on your table. Then when you’re ready you flip a little card they give you over to the green side and several men with long kebabs of meat come and carve little pieces off for you to try that are also unlimited. Definitely a little pricey but it’s to be expected for the service and especially the location. All in all very good and would love to go back.

You dont get to enjoy the cut they just put on your plate.Instead youre rushed to wolf down the food to answer another server about whether you want more food or not. This was my first time at Galpao Gaucho. We came for our grandsons graduation dinner. There were 18 in our party, so sitting at one long table made it a bit difficult to visit easily. We took a day trip up to Napa, to visit some vineyards and sample some wines, we happened upon this restaurant purely by happenstance. This place actually had shrimp and salmon which I have not seen at all at a Brazilian steakhouse. The passion fruit sauce on the salmon is amazing! The restaurant has a high quality salad bar $32 that also includes soups. There is also a small limited menuWe took the unlimited meat experience.The service was excellent. The meat option pass by very frequently and they are too generous in their servings !However, the quality of meat is not all good. Omg this place is Amazing! The food is sensational, couldnt have hoped for better! We arrived at 2:15 after booking on Open Table and we were cheerfully greated! We started with a buffet starter which has loads of really nice food, I tried the salmon, caprese salad, the jalapenos, the cheesesand the salames! Then the rodizo came, every piece of meat was extremely high quality! We were travelling from the UK and let me tell you theres no way in Europe or in UK where you can find such tasty meat! I loved the end where I had pineapples and cinnamon with jalapenos asados! A weird combination that just worked really well! Hope you will enjoy it too!

This was our first visit to Galpao Gaucho. We were attending a 30th wedding anniversary dinner party. The food was amazing to say the least. The variety of meats was unprecedented. Weekday Lunch is 48, dinner (all day weekend) is 68. Similar to fogo de chao but priced higher, much less varieties in cold salad bar (and inferior quality). Meat selections are also less, but they do have lamb chops (which fogo doesnt) and thats my favorite. The grilled shrimp is awful as they are dry and tasteless. Good if you like to eat meat.

Can one be OVER-SERVED?It was our first visit and we were excited to try some Brazilian cuisine.We appreciated the walk-through we received from our waiter and the Friendliness was top notch from the start. FOOD was excellent, both the Immense Salad Bar, where everything was fresh and delicious, and also the skewered meats that kept parading through the dining room. It was truly great food. Very filling.However, I felt uncomfortable with several servers and their supervisors constantly asking and upselling their drinks. I felt like I needed a DO NOT DISTURB sign so we could finish our food without being interrupted.At first we felt great, very appreciated as a guest but it got old pretty quick.I read through the reviews the restaurant has and we all agree that the food is fantastic, the service was overwhelming at some points.

They accommodated us - very NICE!Our servers Nayeli and Christopher were very professional, helpful, funny and on task. They made our dinner extra special. The meat servers were always available, very funny and interactive while doing their job. The other customers were so kind. One couple secretly bought me a birthday drink- how special was that! Best Brazilian steakhouse around Solano county so far. They gave us a big table for just the two of us on Christmas Eve. Plenty of antipasti to choose from but the highlight of the night was the ribeye, tenderloin, shrimp, cheese (served with optional honey), chimichuri and Brazilian cheese bread. We also had molten lava cake and they added two scoops for ice cream since we asked to share.Service was great. The quality of proteins was definitely worth the price. Will be returning soon.

Love the ambiance of the place. Dark intimate colors and huge flowy floor plan of restaurant which gives guests plenty of space during dining. Restaurant was exceptionally clean and safe during pandemic. Loved the copper sinks in bathroom which I believe is an extra anti microbial, now down to the food.Meats were plentiful and had a nice variety of cuts. Loved how everything was not just well done to please those weird people like myself who like rare to bloody meat lol. Was my first time in a Brazilian Steakhouse like this it was like an auction for meat on a stick. Quite exciting. My favorite cut is their lamb chops. They were to live for!Buffet was super clean fresh loved the rice and Brazilian bean and pork specialty. Maybe I missed it but would love to see some specialty hot sauces or some pepper chutney. All the meats were very good. The shrimp didnt come around very often. Everything in the salad bar was excellent, except the candied bacon. The bacon wasnt thick cut some was overcooked and some under cooked to the point it was like someone sprinkled brown sugar over the bacon. Every time we come here, this place gets better!! The service is absolutely top-notch no matter how big or small your party is. This time, they had added shrimp, grilled white cheddar cheese, and grilled cinnamon sugar pineapple to the already extensive and delicious offering of meat and salmon. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good food, good service, and a very enjoyable filling meal.

Interesting experience! Salad bar has over 40 items, everything we had was fresh. But dont overdo it because the main (entree) course is incredible...meats (mostly steak cuts), chicken, pork, shrimp and salmon, all presented on skewers by servers. They carve whatever meat doneness you prefer at the table, and its all you can eat! Its pricey, but worth it at least once or for a special occasion. This was due to one server was trying to explain while another was rushing to serve you a 1L bottle of stillwater which cost $6! Both were talking over each other..Meat was not circling in any type of fair way. We counted that pork parm was offered 12 times; chicken 10 times. But the lamb was offered once..Servers catered more towards those who look affluent. The whole meal felt extremely rushed as servers was rushing to speak and move on. The meat servers were running around which amped up the anxiety of the the atmosphere. We went for couples night which was $99. Plus the $6 for stillwater. Plus we got an iced tea $4, which they failed to keep topped off..All in all, I may go back to give them a chance to redeem themselves. But its probably not going to be for a long while before returning.

My friends and I dined at this steakhouse last Thanksgiving Day and we were all very satisfied with the 17-kind of meat and all you can eat salad bar they have. All the meat are tender and delicious. The customer service is top of the world. The place has a formal but soothing ambiance. The full experience menu is kind of pricey ($69/person) but its worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who love steaks, good salad bar, and a good selection of cheese.

I was visiting Napa and a friend recommended this restaurant. I initially wasnt too enthusiastic. Ive been to other Brazilian steakhouses and they were okay. I was pleasantly WRONG! The entire experience, from the moment we sat down until we paid the check, was simply impeccable! The customer service was flawless. We included the salad bar with our meal. I had no idea how much food would be on just the salad bar! So many options. After that, the succulent meats started coming. The picanha and bottom sirloin were absolutely my favorite. I always prefer my red meat rare which isn’t necessarily possible here because of the way it is served, but it was still incredibly flavorful and when I mentioned I preferred lamb chops rare, they brought the next batch to us first and it was about as close as you can get. The strip steak and tri tip are juicy and delicious! Don’t fill up on the salad bar and save room for meat! Buuuuttt that’s hard to do because their salad bar is also very nice and not your usual salad bar. The decor is lovely and the wait staff is attentive. This Churrascaria does it right. Started 7 years ago, the owner hand picked staff from established Brazilian steakhouses (Fogo, etc.), many of whom are still here, to get it right. And this place delivers.You may sit unattended forever at some Rodizios, but here, if your plate is even near empty, a Senior Server will quickly ask which cut of meat you would like to receive, and quickly direct a Garcon to bring it to you. And the meat is, of course, top shelf and cooked to perfection. If the Garcon brings rare and you wanted medium, he will be right back with the correct doneness.The salad bar is also filled with over 45 top quality offerings, and enough vegetarian options to satisfy those poor souls dragged to this carnivore heaven by family or significant others.The wine list is wonderful and eclectic, although I would love to see a petit syrah offering, and they could probably add a couple under $60 offerings to satisfy less experienced or lower budget guests.Lastly, but not least, I have to mention the maestro of the event. Manager Adna Dutra was in house last night, checking in on EVERY table to make sure all their needs were met, directing Garcons and Servers, and keeping the place running like a Formula One Race car. Wow. What a wonderful selection of meat did they serve us. I was a bit tearful because I didn’t have room for lamb chops. There is a buffet of cheese, cured meats and salads but as soon as they see your card flipped on the green side they hover around you with different cuts of meat. Everything from salmon to lamb was served and I tried my best to feast on half of the animal kingdom. A bit pricey if you go as a group but definitely worth it to take the one you love.

Five Star Experience, Five Star food. And the service was consistent all throughout the restaurant. When I went to restroom, every staff member stepped aside. Three bartenders made the exact same drink the same and fast. I attended a party, where the back room was reserved on a Sunday. The hours went past closing, not once we any staff rush us out. The place is super clean, staff are all masked, servers wear gloves and required gloves are available for customers self serving from the salad bar and sides.After being seated promptly, a few minutes ahead of our online reservation, we were immediately served our choice of bottled sparkling or still water. Our used gloves were cleared as fast as they got the table.Of the sides I really enjoyed the bacon and the salmon, but the brand and rice were also yummy.The meat courses were plentiful and varied. My only disappointment was the cooked salmon, I found it kind of dry. We had lamb and pork ribs, sirloin, filet, some other beef, shrimp, all delicious. Its fun trying a small portion, then getting more if its a success.After dinner we had dessert, the portions were immense. Easily big enough to share.The place was busy, so Id recommend a reservation.

Went for the first time for Franks 61st birthday. It was a great place especially if you love meat. It was so good. This place is absolutely over priced they still charge $30 if you get the salad bar only and there are only gross items at the salad bar. barely any salad, in fact it was only a Caesar salad with no flavor.. everything has no flavor. it was disgusting the meat looked good but its not worth $45 this place should charge $25 per person for salad bar and meat. the waiters were very attentive, i must give them that! . so thats the reason I dont give them a Ø, i give them one star. but for the price and the selection of food and the salad bar,. Ive been here four times and the food always taste the great!, this time i dined in for two persons and they would not pay attention to you if they are busy. They mostly served the tables who have a large group. Overall the food was great! but 62$ per person was not very satisfying. I was not able to enjoy the meats because i lost we lost our appetite when we waited that long for the meats. I recommend to go here on weekdays so that they wont be that busy and would be able to serve tables better.

Such a fun, different experience! Start with the all you can eat salad bar and when you are ready to try 17 different kinds of meat, just flip over your card from red to green, and the most amazing, friendly guys start coming by one by one with skewers of the most delicious meats. My advice, start slow and pace yourself. Try small amounts of the meats if you want to be able to try all 17. I wasnt. I had too much salad bar first. Ill know better next time. But you will be encouraged to stay as long as you like in order to try as much as you can.

This place has wonderful meat selection, quality, and service. My servers always made sure I was taken care of with whatever cuts of meat I wanted and made sure to bring it out fresh. This place also had some interesting things like fried cheese and spicy honey and others that I have never had at a Brazilian steakhouse and boy were they good. Even the salad bar had a great and fresh selection of food. I would recommend coming here for lunch because its the same food but much cheaper. This is the perfect stop in between visiting vineyards in the area.Update: I keep coming back here every time I visit Napa Valley and honestly the service and food are even better than I remember. Shout out especially to the service staff who were extremely warm, attentive, and friendly. Excellent experience.

I prefer this Brazillian Steakhouse because its only 15minutes from home, their food is great and they make a delicious carajillo, although I didnt see it on the menu last night. Great ambiance and amazing food. Only downfall was that the meal and experience felt rushed. They sat the 2 of Us at a 4 top table and we must have been asked if we were done will that be all for you 5 times. No time to relax and enjoy the meal. Grant it We didnt order wine and drinks (we were just in for dinner while working) so hopefully that wasnt the spark that we felt was being placed under our bottoms to expedite our departure. Our waters were never below half full....I have never witnessed such impeccable service. Ever. Had an amazing night, was greeted at least four times just on the way to our table. Their process is a little different from normal restaurants so we were patiently taught how they work and before we knew it, we were being offered selections from vegetables to salads to filet mignon to lamb to chicken to so many different varieties you couldnt imagine. Its almost literally a reverse buffet, and then to top it all off the tres leche cake was oh my God so gloriously delicious. Reasonable price for all you can eat filet mignon, I swear, they were offering us helpings so fast that before we could stop or knew what was happening we were so stuffed we could hardly breathe. Would recommend a hundred times over, exceptional service, food and prices.

Went to this place for lunch and fortunately for me I hadnt had breakfast or anything to eat at that point because its all you can eat and starts at the very large and stocked full of everything you can imagine should be at a salad bar and more. By the time I was back to the table and flipped my serving card on the table from red to green the waiters start bringing every type of meat on skewers fresh and hot⁷ off the griddle to slide off onto your plate to join the salad masterpiece I had just finished. Dont let the activity around you confuse you make no mistake this is a Steakhouse. Every cut of Steak and primerib bone passed in front of me plus Lamb Chops and Pineeapple and Pork Ribs and PorkTenderloin. Bottled water carbonated or spring on the table ready to be served and Brazilian Cocktales that are great. There wasnt a bad item on my plate. It doesnt matter what it cost to eat here do remember it is all you can eat but our table was five and it was no more expensive than any other quality spot to eat. No doggy bags to go here so enjoy while you can I do understand why no taking of leftovers here because it then would be unaffordable to much would go out the door for later.
