Galpão is my all time favorite Brazilian steakhouse in the US. No, I haven’t tried all the Brazilian steakhouses in the US but from the ones that I have tried (and I have visited many), this one is my favorite. Having also been to Brazil, I feel like I have had my fair share of Brazilian barbecue.The churrasco options are plentiful and are of great quality. I have been here many times and no matter how busy they are, what time of day it is, you will rarely sit around waiting for some meat to come your way. The salad bar has close to 40 fresh items to complement your meal.Now, why do I consider this my favorite? Why have I dined here in the double digits? Besides the obvious reason of the food, the service. The gauchos are extremely attentive and friendly. They will even ask if you’re looking for something specific if they notice you are turning multiple options away. The other wait staff are just as friendly and attentive. I’ve chatted up a few of the gauchos and wait staff here and they clearly love their job and environment. It’s apparent to me that management treats them well and is more of reason why I will continue to come here.

Wow. This place has been in my bucket list for years. I finally got around to it last week and oh boy, I wish I had gone sooner. Ive been to many Brazilian steakhouses all over the California and Nevada. This place really nailed everything thing that I wanted. The salad bar was great (they even brought out more papaya when I mentioned it was absent). The accoutrements (pão de queijo, mashed potatoes, caramelized bananas, and sauces) were quite good. And the hot food being served by the gauchos with the metal rods and plates were fantastic. The meats were seasoned perfectly and nothing was overcooked. And that pineapple and cheese... OMG 🥰 I had tried almost everything except for the lamb (only because I was really full - next time though!). My father and I were thoroughly impressed with the wait staff and the speed of service that evening. And my water glass was never empty (which is a big thing in my book). Good service, lot of food. They just come to you and give you food, steak, shrimp, ribs. The salad bar is very nice with lots of choices: cheese, bacon, soup, salami, sausage……it’s like a buffet!Then the meat come, shrimp, chicken, steak, etc. You don’t know which one to start with!I love the grilled Pineapple with cinnamon, it’s so good! Made a reservation via Yelp. Not too busy on a Friday night.Overall, the food was good, but very salty (as expected). My favorite proteins were the chicken hearts and other prime cuts of meat. I also enjoyed the Brazilian Cheese bread :DSalad bar was a bit sad. Not a lot of variety and wasnt being refilled as often as I thought it should. Nonetheless, they had other items like bacon, deviled eggs, cured meats, etc.You turn cards over for when you want the staff to bring meat over to you. If it is your first time, the experience is quite hectic. Unfortunately, their English isnt the best, so the communication definitely could improve. They would force meat onto your plate even when you told them to stop haha. It was bizarre too, that they even flipped my card from stop to more meat on their own. Im assuming there is some incentive to refresh whatever protein you are serving? Definitely feel like this aspect of the service could change.All in all, food was good. Staff was generally friendly. Would have preferred to go at my own pace and not have everyone throw meat at my plate when I flipped the card.Would be back on occasions! Definitely come here ready to eat a lot of meat because its a bit expensive otherwise. Or just come for the experience since the servers are all super nice and charming. The salad bar is expensive and beautifully plated. One of my favorite things here is actually the Brazilian bread and caramelized banana. I kept getting refills of them even though I knew itd be more worth my money to get more meat... The meats are good too, though a few of them are a bit too salty for my taste. Ive so tried the cheesecake and flan desserts which were okay, I liked the flan more than the cheesecake. I also only ordered them because I didnt realize they werent free haha. They were quite expensive but my fault for not asking.

Great Brazilian Steakhouse with pretty good service. They can provide you with a list of allergens for many of their meat cuts, and have a solid selection of non-meat items on the salad bar. Surprisingly kid friendly, especially if your kids are younger and the cost isnt excessive. Favorites here are the beef ribs, lamb shank, chicken hearts, and grilled cheese.

We came here for a birthday and had a very nice time. This is a solid Brazilian steakhouse with good service and selection. The place is not cheap - we came out with a bill of $270 for two adults and 2 children. Because of this we will save this place for special occasions. This place is amazing!!! The service is outstanding, they have variety of meats and they are delicious, plus, they have sea food like shrimp and salmon at NOT extra cost, desserts are big enough for 2 persons, the salad bar is well stocked and tasty. A buffet styled steakhouse with a salad bar. The servers bring various steak meats grilled on long stainless skewers and cut some slices right in front of you to serve. The salad bar was pretty good with a good variety and freshness. There were beef, pork, lamb, chicken and sausages available, all-u-can-eat. I liked the rib eye, pork ribs and beef ribs, tender and flavorful. Overall, the quality of the meats and salads were quite good, but at a price of $57 +tax+tips per person, without a huge meat appetite, it was quite expensive. Had dinner at this Brazilian steakhouse on a Friday. It seems very popular. It was full to capacity with so many people waiting outside. Its a lively/noisy place so it worked well for us to celebrate a birthday. Almost every table had a birthday celebration going on.It was crammed because they have packed too many tables. Their waiters need more space to serve food properly, especially since its all you can eat.The salad bar was great. Lots of variety and super fresh items. Papaya and pineapple were so refreshing. The grilled pineapple served separately was very good.Didnt try the chicken so cant comment. Shrimp was very good. Fish was ok. There was too many choices of meats. I tried a few.Lamb chops were tender and looked very good. However they had a smell typical of Australian lamb. Dont know where it was from. Seasoning didnt take care of it. I love lamb and rack of lamb is one of my favorite items on menus.Of the many varieties of beef, one was good quality and was seasoned and cooked well. Not sure if it was the ribeye.

They serve you table side by cutting the mean in front of you. All the meats were well seasoned and scrumptious. I love the baked cheese with hot honey and the grilled pineapples. Truly amazing experience. Weve been to the other major Brazilian place, and this one is so much better. The service was amazing and attentive. There was always someone checking on us or offering us new items. We tried almost everything, and it was all great.Of course the picanha was delicious. What we didnt expect was how amazing the spicy picanha was. One of my kids even told me I didnt know I liked spicy, but I like this. The grilled shrimp was amazing as well.When the grilled cheese comes around, ask for the darkest, most burnt piece, and make sure to get the honey. It reminds me of a well toasted marshmallow. Sounds weird, but you wont regret it.If you somehow saved room for dessert, the creme brulee is excellent.My only complaint would be that the parking lot is too full, and it took 25 minutes for us to be seated for our reservation.

The picanha (both spicy and regular) was my favorite cut. The meat was good and they kept coming around to offer us more. The only thing is maybe the cuts are too big? Pretty expensive but good experience. Parking was very easy and so was reservation. Friendly staff and even when we got there 15 min early, they sat us down right the way. We have had plenty of Brazilian steakhouse in the past so we are familiar with how it works. Staffs would check on us often and kept checking in on us. Very nice to our kids as well. My husband and I always come to this place. After falling out of love with Fogo, we wanted to try the new place on the block (weve eyed this place when they first opened). Well, it has become one our favorite places to eat.When we want great quality meats and very high quality service, we go here. Weve celebrated anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, etc. (been coming here for 2 years) and the service has not gone down at all.The meat selection is pretty good and very flavorful (we love the spicy picanha). The pineapple is a must try, by the way. You can make requests and they actually get back to your table within a few minutes! All of the servers and staff are so attentive and we always feel that were treated as valued guests.This place is very pricey, though. BUT, there are deals that you can take advantage of like weekday lunch and couples night! The price hasnt deter us from coming back. Ive dropped so much money here and its money well spent! Try it! You wont regret it.

WOW, my first time at this Brazilian steakhouse and it didnt disappoint. I am Brazilian and I frequently go to a lot of Brazilian steakhouses.What most impressed me was the quality of service from the entire crew. They had all the top choices and the best was the beef rib.My only small suggestion is for a more flavored Lamb chop. On the Lamb chop item, Fogo de Chao still top the chart.

I was born and raised in Brazil and know what makes an outstanding “churrascaria” and this place is definitely A&A, authentic and amazing! Not to mention fantastic service! We had Rogério as our server and he was very professional and took excellent care of us. All staff were very attentive and checking on us all the time. Wanted to give Galpão’s a try being I love the Brazilian style steak houses. I had a 5 pm reservation for 3 but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to show up an hour early. I explained The situation to receptionist who smiled and said it’s ok we can seat you right now.As we we’re being seated we were greeted by no less than five different people, falling over each other to take my jacket and pulling out our chairs. I was thinking to myself, I wonder if you’re mistaking me for the present or something C;We opted for the full service experience which includes all you can eat salad bar which consists of cold cut meats, cheeses, veggies, picked veggies, salmon, deviled eggs, asparagus, beets, mango pico de gallo, honey glazed bacon which is just freaking amazing hands-down the best bacon I’ve ever had in my life, no other bacon even comes close to this,and about 100 other items just to name a few laugh out loud. Then while we ate our “cough cough” salad we had a rotation of food come to our table..... Fillet mignon wrapped in bacon, filet mignon, lamb, chicken, sausages, pork ribs, cheese with spicy honey, cooked pineapple “tastes Apple pie but way better” and more, honestly I lost track of everything that came to the table. Our all you can eat dinner also comes with fried bananas, bread, and mashed potatoes.Price wise they are just a couple dollars less than the Brazilian steakhouse at Santana Row but the food is definitely better, have a better variety and the table service is much better as well, the meat service came around about every 2.5 minutes “no joke don’t get me wrong their competition at Santana Row is good also but if you’ve never been to a Brazilian steakhouse I would recommend coming to this one. “And yes I ate everything I mentioned above and more laugh out loud”

This would so easily be 5 star except for 1 issue. The food, the staff—everything was great. We like rare meat and immediately the staff realized and brought mostly rare for our table. They are friendly and helpful. So—be aware that water is extra unless you specify tap water yourself. For a group of 9 our water cost $58 as we believed it to be included—we did not order it at all. The manager dismissed our question about the bill with a shrug of his shoulders. I do not like to feel taken advantage of or dismissed. If not for that I would rate a 5.

Fantastic! The service was exceptional, from refilling water, to serving meats, to responding to requests. The salad bar is phenomenal, with candied bacon, a selection of cheeses, salad, asparagus, and meats like prosciutto. My first visit to this Brazilian restaurant and I really like the format of the lunch buffet for everything you want except for the meats which they bring to your table. I was never without meat and it was all very flavorful and cooked very well. I skipped dessert as I was plenty full but it is a bit pricey at over $100 for lunch for two people.

The place will shower you with different cuts of grill meat until you explode and throw in the towel by flipping over the green card over to red. Definitely pick up some of the salad bar items to help with degreasing and resetting the palette. Just follow the standard operating procedure for all you can eat places but its unlikely normal appetite people will get their moneys worth. The lamb chops were a bit too overdone during our visit. If youve ever followed Sous Vide everything and wonder what picanha tastes like, youve come to the right place.

It was the first time I was trying a Brazilian steak buffet. It was such a pleasant experience. Unfortunately I was not so hungry to enjoy it to the fullest. But I can say the salad bar was great and they serve you with high quality steaks, ribs, and etc. what I didn’t like about the place is their pops price. Basically it should get refilled without paying additional money not being charged for each can. The service is great and they feed you like how your gradma does, like being served and receive fresh cut of meat; at some point I felt like a king 😂. Great meal. All the meat was fantastic- even the lamb which often doesn’t agree with me. The meat was flavorful without being too salty- something I’ve noticed with other Brazilian steakhouses.The salad bar was better than others. Not the largest selection, but everything I tried was excellent. A special shout out to the beans and rice which was excellent. I grab a bowl of it just to taste and was glad I tried. It has a great flavor and I could have had a happy comfort meal of just that.I have been to this restaurant twice in ~ 5 years and both times were the two best Brazilian steakhouses I’ve been too.My advice for those that go: take your time. When you flip your card the waiters will come quickly to give you meat like a reverse shark frenzy and will keep coming. When you have enough to eat flip the card over to stop the chumming and eat your food while it is hot. This will allow you to talk as well- hard to do with waiters hovering and cutting meat at your table! Don’t worry they WILL come back. And you WILL get that special meat you missed the first round- they will definitely make more, it’s what they do.The short of it is the food is too good not to savor it. Yea it is all you can eat, but don’t think of it as a fancier Home Town Buffet, it’s much better.

The big hits with me were the filet mignon, grilled cheese with spicy honey, and rib eye. Their drink menu is full with a nice selection of Scotches, albeit a bit pricey (of course).Desserts were also amazing with an amazing fresh cappuccino. I ordered the tres leches (amazing!) and pudim (also good).I went for a holiday party so I cant speak to the value but everything was top notch and from what I did see of the drink and dessert menus did not seem out of range with what I was getting.The only bad note from me was the lightning pace at which all the meats come out, its a little hectic when youd like to take your time to enjoy everything. Made a reservation for my wifes Birthday on March 6 2022. We were greeted and sat down. The server was very nice. The meats are juicy, flavourful, and you can choose how you want your meat. (Medium rare, well-done, etc). We ordered two carinprinas drinks. The candied beacon, deviled eggs, salad bar, antipastos.Here comes our negative review. Upon arrival we were sat next to heavy foot traffic section. Im assuming next eating hall or by the restrooms. There were to many employees passing by and standing next to us. We expected privacy. It was out first time so not familiar with the floorplan. Our server was pushy for us to get up and get sides. We sat there for about 5 minutes with our green card flipped (bring meats) and we felt ignored. So we got up and got sides and then they came. They brought all cuts except for lamb leg. No big deal.We sat there enjoying our dinner. My wife is being attacked by a small fly. She felt embarrassed to as she was trying to scare the fly off. Eventually it left, maybe to attack someone else or the precious sides. Our server had brought me sparking water and my wife water. Later my wifee asked for a clean cup for sparking water. It was a different server. Later, the original server came and without asking poured water into her sparking glass. It was funny but we for better hospitality ask, maam would you like some more water? That way we could verify and let him know it was sparking water.We were interrupted rudely while taking photos. Instead of saying excuse my interruption or sorry to interrupt, may I. Toward the end of our dinner. A random lady worker comes up. While were sipping our delicious carinprinas drinks. She asked if were almost done? How in the world would you ask us this! First of all we were there for about 50 min. And never did we read a time limit. Second we werent done with our drinks and the good fried cheese with honey (amazingly delicious). We felt like they wanted us out. We wanted to sip on a wine bottle but we felt uncomfortable and decided to stop and call it a night. As soon as I paid $200 cash. Including the 3% surcharge that is not mentioned anywhere (people be aware of hidden fees! Hehe...). Hey brought out crab legs to the side dishes! We were disappointed and felt like they wanted us out of there prior to bringing the legs out. I left a cash tip. An employee came and swopped the cash tip. She was not our server and never came over to ask if we needed anything. I probably wont come back. If Indo i will submit special request to make us more comfortable and better hospitality.Our table were way to closed and we felt trapped and with no privacy as we could clearly hear the two other couples having dinner. I hope management reviews my review and implies better hospitality.

We came to Galpao Gaucho to celebrate a birthday. Our host made sure we were well-versed in Brazilian BBQ affairs, before sending a squadron of waters to serve us rodízio-style.They claim to have 20 meat options, but on a typical evening you can probably only get 10-15 options, which is enough. The top cuts here are the picanha (top sirloin), ribeye, and bacon-wrapped filet mignon. I’d also give the lamb chops, beef ribs, and pork ribs a shot if they float your boat.There are few other can’t miss items here: the grilled/candied pineapple is sweet, tart, and succulent. The plantains are decent. The chimichurri pairs really well with most of the meats, and adds a bit of earthiness.We also ordered some tres leches (to celebrate a birthday). The tres leches here is a bit spongier than most, and the cinnamon really shines through.

Had her anniversary dinner here. Made reservations got there a bit early and they took us in right away. The place look packed but they had a table ready for us. We got our plates from the salad bar then sat down and immediately the servers came around with the meat it was one after another. Very happy with our visit. We went here for my girlfriends birthday. Within 7 minutes, our plates were full of fine meat: smoked salmon, ribeye, etc (see picture). We saw gauchos literally running to serve steak to customers. We were frequently asked if we wanted anything in particular.About an hour in, I decided I was done. Then, I had a gaucho come by to give me ribeye, then peer pressure me into double. Then he came back with filet and did the same thing. Then more ribeye. We came here on the recommendation from friends as well as other reviews. This place is amazing. The staff are very friendly and attentive, they ensure that you have everything you need and frequently check on you. The buffet/salad bar has a great variety of sides to compliment all the select meat choices coming your way. All the different cuts and types of meat were all extremely tasty. They also have grilled pineapple dusted with a light coat of cinnamon-one of my favorites. Unfortunately we left no room for desert so I have no idea how good the desserts are. 10/10 will definitely go back again.

My wife and I came here for my birthday and we were very impressed. We have been to several Brazilian steakhouses in the area and this is definitely our new favorite. The staff had to be the best part of our whole experience. They were the most attentive, helpful, and beyond polite staff we have had of any restaurant weve dined at. They had plates cleared and drinks refilled before we could even ask. Everyone was super friendly and willing to help! The food was great and came out fast enough for us to try every kind of meat they have to offer. They also made it very easy for us to have something specific brought to our table with almost no delay. The salad bar had plenty to offer and we appreciated the fact that people were asked to wear disposable gloves when getting food. This is by far the best dining experience we have had in awhile, we will definitely be coming back. Kudos again to the staff!

Seen this place for a long time and got the chance to try it. The place was busy but not crazy overcrowded. Our waiter and the whole staff really were very attentive. They kept checking on us. The style of meal is they bring some meat to your table, then ask if you want some. Quite a few choices were brought to the table. Some cuts were better than others but nothing I didnt like, and Im picky. Wife got the salad bar and she said it was among the best shed ever seen. Overall I liked the place, good service good food. I went for dinner because they say its better than lunch! But the meat has the same taste, without any seasoning, there arent many options even for dinner, either the meat is charcoal or its raw. The waiters are extremely polite, but the others kick you out of the table as soon as you turn the card from green to red. I revisited their Picanha, prime lamb chops, garlic filet mignon, and beef ribs multiple times and it was amazing! I love their Brazilian bread as well. Its soft, airy, and chewy. Great for parties! We came here on a Sunday night. The place was half full. It was my first time here but I definitely will be back. Usually when I go to a Brazilian churrascaria I only eat picanha and Brazilian cheese bread. But this time I tried all different meats, including shrimp. I liked them all. Its a Brazilian steak house with readily available parking. I reserved via Yelp and was seated as soon as I arrived during my appointed time. The service was fantastic. I never had to wait long to get my next slice of meat. All the food was hot when served. If an item we were craving hadnt made its round, it was easy enough to notify the waiter and within 5 minutes the item desired was at our table. I never felt the need to wave a waiter down to get their attention. Multiple waiters were constantly checking up on us. As for covid concerns, all staff wore mask. The salad bar still has mandatory mask and provides required gloves if you want a plethora meat options with one of to touch shared spoons and tongs while grabbing salad bar items. You should understand what youre coming for if youre reading this. I arrived about ten minutes before my reservation on a busy Thanksgiving, checked in and then was promptly seated despite being a bit early. The buffet was the buffet, underrated but make sure to not fill up on a bunch of the salads and breads, but be sure to grab some candied bacon eh. Service for meat was prompt whenever I was on green and the rotation of was steady. Really excellent service from all of the staff despite it being a busy evening; prompt refills and table clearing, buffet restocking from my seat was consistent. A server unfortunately dropped a pretty large tray of used plates/glasses but even that was so promptly and thoroughly cleaned up that you wouldnt have realized it occurred withing three minutes.

The steak is amazing. You can order special requests, and your order will come in less than a minute. The staff is extremely welcoming and nice, and are willing to help you with anything. There is also a salad bar, in which I recommend you to get their candied bacon, as well as their sliced papaya which will contrast the fatty beef. I like their Bison steaks, fillet minion, and the barbecued pineapple the most.At the end when I tried the lamb chops, it was not what I expected, so gamy that I could not eat after that..! We went to Galpao Gaucho this past weekend to celebrate my moms birthday. I had never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, and I had no idea how much fun it was going to be. The food was _delicious_ and the staff was all really amicable. It was a little hard to hear (next to a larger party) especially with the masks, and I accidentally got some chicken hearts. Sure enough though I gave it a try, and even that tasted pretty good.Luckily we made room for dessert, and I thoroughly enjoyed their tres leches cake, and their crème brûlée was delicious.Their salad bar was also delicious, mashed potatoes, and all the meats were oh so perfect. Dont forget to try the grilled cheese (YUM) and their salmon. I didnt get a chance to try the shrimp, but well be sure to be back again to try everything again.Clair (the manager) runs a tight ship, and all the hard work shows.
