My wife wanted to try Gam ja Tang and I was totally up for it. Calm Atmosphere before Lunch Time Rush. The first taste... brought back font memories of South Korea. It cant compare to S. Korea...but, it came very close. My wife said it had too many bones. I had to suck the bones dry...for her. No Problem!!!

Cant get enough of this place. Gamjatang (감자탕), pork backbone stew. It was my favorite in Korea and so far this is the closest it gets to what it was like eating there.The people are very friendly and portions are very generous.Be sure to note the two different sizes: one will easily feed 2 people, the other will feed a small village for three weeks.Also note this is not the place for a first date, youre gonna have a mess of delicious bones everywhere and probably stains on your clothes. Bring your best friends instead so you can eat shamelessly until your pants remind you that you should probably stop.

Came here with my coworkers after a long day at a tradeshow. Was really craving Korean and this place satisfied and more. The best Gamjatang I had was hands down one of the best if not the best. The food was served super quickly. They did not skimp out on the meat. The soup base was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The servers were also super nice and really appreciated them

Gamjatang house is famousfor Pork Back-bone Stew (Gamja-tang).It looks like spicy but not really spicy.Gamjatang is made with pork back-bone,perilla leaves, onions, potatoesand hot peppers.After you finish to eat Gamjatang,you can ask to make fried rice with a Gamjatang soup,sea weed laverand sesame oil.It is really delicious.Try to eat Spicy Pork & Potato Stewon the menu.It is good enough for 2 to 3 people.

Gamjatang is a pork bone soup made with hours of stewing required to perfect. This place does it right, their soup is delicious and absolutely unforgettable. The quality of the stew offered here makes their pricing very reasonable. You wont find another place that can provide the same quality dish, since it requires tons of preparation to make a decent comparison. This is a rare find amongst the sea of korean restaurants.

You can find best gam ja Tang here. The portion is insane and you can ask for more soup if you somehow manage to kill it. They will fry the rice after you are done as well. If you wanna try authentic Korean spicy pork soup definitely try this one

After the Korean War,relationship between the United States and South Korea has grastically changed its magnitude to one another and they have come to an alliances and there has been a lot of soldiers from United States to dispatch to yYoung San and other various areas in Korea cities. When they came, they did not only come, but they also introduced the several types of U.S. way of eating and their favorite food and one of them was a Spam and hot dog sausages and stuff. when these were introduced to the Koreans they have a mixed it with the hot and red peppers along with various other seasoning and some potato and put it all together like a Cujon style from Louisiana and then they put some ramen noodles in it and turned into some Amazing magic dish that is called Boo Dae Zzi gae. This place provides an amazing and authentic and very very clean dish that you cannot experience in other places. I highly recommend that to three people go together and order to enjoy the way and however you think is the best.....

Gamjatang is delicious, but today I ordered *black goat hotpot* for two people. If you eat stir-fried rice later, its the perfect amount to feed three people. My eldest daughter, who tried it for the first time, said it was very delicious. I enjoyed it even more after hiking the H2O tower.

I had no choice but to go near the closing, but the service was so good and I had a good meal. The gamjatang was delicious, and the black goat gamjatang, seafood and green onion pancakes, and other foods were so delicious. I ate well. If you live in OC, I recommend you to visit it at least once!

I ordered the black goat hot pot, but the quantity was small compared to the price, and the vegetables were too few, so I added vegetables right away and added $3. The chive pancake felt like it was grilled but not crispy, so I asked for it to be cooked more, and the waitress got annoyed. I ordered 8 pieces of fried rice, so I charged $1.50 per bowl for fried rice besides the cost of rice. The contents of the fried rice were poor and the taste was not good. This is the first time I have ever run out of money while eating fried rice.

Sweet tasteAdded) I bought it a few more times after the review, but sometimes... the food I submitted was cold... Maybe I forgot to prepare it and reheat it, but the onions werent all cooked and the perilla leaves werent cut properly... I dont think Ill be gone for a while.

I visited this place with my family.I ordered gamjatang and chicken noodle soup.There was a lot of meat on the pork backbone in the gamjatang, the soup was rich, and the food tasted good. The children also said that the chicken noodle soup had a good, deep flavor.One thing that was disappointing was the side dishes, but they didnt make it themselves. The freshness was very low, and it tasted a little spoiled and tasteless. I think I need to take better care of it.

The food tasted good, but the staff didnt treat me kindly... Not really, I dont know if it was because of the owners mindset, but I was sweating profusely while eating and then I was greeted with the question Air conditioner doesnt work? Its nonsense to turn on the air conditioner only then. Because after eating almost all of the rice...
