2023-09-01 16:24:24The server was very friendly. However, the food was average. Since there are no Korean restaurants nearby, you shouldnt expect the same level of taste as in Koreatown. I think vegetarians would enjoy the sesame oil noodles. Im not a vegan, but I enjoyed it. The gamjatang felt a bit bland.

2023-06-13 06:47:03The food tasted OK! The sides were amazing but the broth in the main dish (Gamjatang) was a little bland. The meat portion was also on the lower side. The place is a little pricey for its ambiance or taste tbh. The servers were nice tho!

2022-06-20 00:08:43Gamjatop - San GabrielGreat experience eating here despite the 30 minute wait.We ordered a Gamjatang combo and a seafood pancake. The rice pop ice cream is surprisingly good! I was so full but still finished half of it 🤪And the best thing is—you don’t go home smelling like greasy bbq 😬

2022-07-05 09:56:00This place is hard to see while driving on road. I followed the Google map. Its located next to building residence area. Few parking on front and sign for additional parking.I went there around a little past 8 pm after work. Place is very clean with seating indoors and outdoors.Waiter asked small or big table. Since I am alone I sat on table for 2.I did not really look at the menu because I went there for 1 dish is Gamjatang (spicy pork neck bone soup). I cant take spicy must so I also ordered cucumber salad that help a cool down the spicy in mouth.Check in yelp and gets free can of soda.Gamjatang: 2 bones and 1 potato - less spicy than I thought would be. Broth taste a little blend compared to places I had been to. Meats is not soft enough that fall off the bone. I was a little disappointed. Also, come with white rice. I am not sure if have purple rice because I was to hungry and forgot to ask.Cucumber salad is not enough flavor (blend). I couldnt taste garlic even cover with a lot of garlic.Side dishes is okay. No one came back to ask if I need refill but they would pick it up empty plates. maybe there is no free refill on side dished.

2022-07-20 03:35:21Service is good. The portion is large. We 3 people had a small combo and seafood pancake, which made us so full. The ice cream is a plus. The place is new and clean. There are limited parking spaces.

2022-06-20 03:54:37Its not bad but it was wasnt mind blowing great as well. The main event was decent but unfortunately all the side dishes was a miss. Seafood pancake with no seafood, cucumber was meh, and kimchi fried rice could had execute a bit better but its worth a try. Great service if nothing else.

2022-10-02 23:20:05Ordered the Gamjatang Soup (delicious and not too spicy and perfect for a breezy day) and the Perilla Oil Noodles (has injeolmi like a roasted rice flavor and complimented the Gamjatang with it’s sweetness). The Gamjatang is the type of meat where you have to work to eat and pull it all off. Thankfully, my husband is a pro at that but just wanted to warn others, you will have to work to eat this meat. The sides were so good, especially the squid and kimchi 😋😋😋We didn’t have to wait long at all to be seated. However, we asked for a refill of the side dishes and they forgot so we had to remind them.Their prices are very pricey so this was a one and done meal. But definitely delicious!

2023-06-26 19:29:14Very disappointed. The food tasted not bad! The side dishes are okay but the broth in the main dish (Gamjatang) was very bland. Yep. The broth tastes very blended. The meat portion was also on the lower side. We just got two pork bones with no meat barely so we just put two big bones into an empty bowl as there is no meat at all. The place is very pricey and has small portions of food. The only server I recommend in this restaurant. they are very nice and friendly but wont come back.

2022-05-23 05:41:32Went here for their soft opening. Their menu is very simple. We ordered a small of the pork bone stew. Which was plenty enough for 2 people and it came with bonchon and steamed egg. The meat was super tender and flavorful. The space inside was small and might require a 30min wait if they are busy.

2022-08-28 04:19:20Satisfying meal. Got the Gamjatop combo (size small) which is for two people. There are four pieces of pork bone, two potatoes and a handful of sujebi in the spicy soup (udon and ramen are the other noodle options). Aside from the soup, you will also get steamed egg, banchan, rice. In addition, ice cream for dessert (almost like choco taco but the taco shell is made of rice cakes and the two flavors of ice cream are vanilla and cookies and cream).
