I ordered a Salty Sticky Rice Roll, Ginger Sweet Tofu Jelly, and Sugar Biscuit for pick up. I waited there for about 15 minutes ( not too bad ). Boy was I suprised when I got home..... :( I got a Sweet Sticky Rice Roll instead of the salty one, I was thinking maybe I ordered wrong, but when I looked at my recipt I see I was charged for what I intended to order. ( Sweet rice roll cost less)Then I took a bit of the sugar biscuit, it taste like left over from other days ( I understand it did not advertise for fresh made everyday ). Also the tofu jelly is also harder than I expected. I heard good reviews from my friends from the Monterery Park Store, but I am just totally disappointed of the Rowland Heights Store.

Been a while since i visit the garage due to pandemic, glad they are still open for authentic Chinaese breakfast.The egg wrap is one of my favorite, crispy thick bread like wrap, very unique food.Donut stick & handmade steam XLB are pretty standard style.The soy milk always consistent when I visit. Just the Chinaese lady have a sour face most of the time but she is really nice.

Amazing Chinese breakfast! I took a bite of the niu rou jian bing and it tasted exactly like how it did when I had one in China. The niu rou xian bing was filled and tasted amazing as well. Very authentic as well. Reminded me of Chinese aunties.

Sneaky business! The waitress did not give a hard copy bill when we paid and we immediately noticed the amount was not correct. We requested a receipt after paying and found out that they charged tips without letting us know. We confronted the waitress and she said it was the automaticity done by the computer. See the receipt attached, the tips of $1.85 was manually added after we paid and demanded a receipt. Normally a receipt doesnt include tips. We almost left another $2 on the table if we did find out this. Anybody going to this place should request a bill before paying. Wont return to this place.

The food was good. It just became extremely uncomfortable when some of the men hanging out inside the restaurant stepped right outside to have a cigarette. Im pretty sure thats not even legal. The smell took over the entire restaurant. It was an extreme nuisance. We had our eleven month old with us. We just wanted to hurry up and leave. I could not believe that happened. If I ever try this place again, it would definitely have to be takeout..

This establishment serves traditional northern Chinese style breakfast. There are lots of different types of interesting soy products. Tianjin buns are made to order and they are quite good. Signature purple sticky rice roll is something everyone should try. Services here are woefully consistent with their pay grade, and its something that can be improved with generous tips.

I have never eaten such a bad food and such a cheap thing in my life. All the fried things in his house can live a hundred years. The fritters are cold and dead, so forget it. The fried donuts and fried stuff they put in your pan cake is as tough as my grandma’s dentures.

The fresh meat buns eaten here today are not fresh. Pork is sour, bad, and not fresh. The pork buns are unbearably sour. I ate one and left. Will not be returning. It’s really almost the end of being able to gain a foothold here after doing this. The fried dough sticks were hard and unpalatable, and the tofu curd had no taste. My friend and I had headaches and stomachaches after eating and felt very bad.

The Garage is a famous Chinese breakfast chain restaurant in Los Angeles. It has a wide variety of breakfast options. The tofu curd is salty and sweet, and the buns are all freshly made. Although the taste is different from that in China, it can satisfy your appetite in a foreign country! The leek box is pretty good, the pies are average, and the various millet porridges and purple rice porridge are also good! The side dishes are pretty good! Be careful not to step into the trap at the Korean restaurant next door! Its hard to eat, but the soup and rice are really mediocre!

The first time I went to this restaurant, it was a 30-year-old restaurant in Fatty Square. In summer, they didn’t even have a glass of ice water and they asked for a tip. The price was expensive and the soup tasted like salt water!

I admire them all, the hygiene of the materials used is extremely disgusting, something serious will happen sooner or later, food poisoning is definitely inevitable, and the boss will probably have to pay for his pants! The waiter felt like a deceased relative, feeling very unhappy at work! Everyone is inefficient and slow! I guess the boss didn’t pay enough! If you are unhappy, you can change your job. Why do you want your guests to feel your negative energy? Let’s talk about the taste. It’s really terrible. How could it be so unpleasant? Even people who don’t know how to cook wouldn’t make it so unpleasant. I guess the raw materials are not good and many things are sour! The old tofu almost made me cry. It is really the most delicious in the world!

I asked for two buns, but when I paid, I found that there were two drawers of buns, and I didnt tell us in advance. On the first day, the buns that were cold overnight were taken away. On the second day, I called half an hour in advance, went there and waited for more than ten minutes, and got uncooked buns, which were not edible at all. If you make a mistake, just refund the money directly, and dont waste each others time.

As a Tianjin native, eating his breakfast is too scolding. Old tofu and Gaba dishes are too unpalatable, and the brine is like water. The cook behind should not know how to make marinade. That brine is too bad to eat. Sesame sauce biscuits are brown sugar crisps, which are so sweet that they will become powder when you pinch them. It’s okay for you to be a restaurant, don’t say you are Tianjin, okay?

Yesterday I bought two cups of soy milk, tofu curd and pancake fruit at the garage in Rowland Heights. After eating, my wife and I had the same symptoms. I had a headache all day long and felt like I had food poisoning. Its terrible. I wont go there again.

Bought the crispy bread yesterday, they were hard as stones, my little sister can not even finish biting. They taste totally different as I bought the first time, I deeply doubt that they gave me the left over from the day before. Very disappointed. Bought two shortbreads yesterday that were hard as a rock, my sister couldnt even bite into them, tasted nothing like the last one I bought, dont know if they gave me leftovers from the day before, wont be going again bought.
