I have came here about 4 times in the last 2 months. Everything is always very delicious but today I was going to get the avocado toast and one of the waiters recommended the “Green and White” which by far, was the best thing I’ve had in a long time! It’s pretty much avocado toast and it has egg whites instead and it includes grilled zucchini and asparagus. It was so delicious and I am definitely going to get it every single time I come here!! I’m happy it took the suggestion. Aside from that, everything was delicious. My family and I enjoyed everything, especially the buttermilk pancakes which are nice and fluffy. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. I’ll be back soon for more.

This has been a regular place to eat ever since it opened up. Everything on the menu has been delicious from the breakfast sandwich to the burger to the chicken wrap.Definitely recommend this place to eat with your wife, kids, friends, family, or girlfriend. I always get an iced coffee with a hamburger and fries.Only cons are outdoor seating has flies sometimes and it gets pretty busy which makes it hard for the servers to get to everyone. Overall 5/5 stars.

Great food and great service. Delicious crepe dishes. Service was very genuine and consistently caring. Regularly asked if everything was ok. Served quickly and food brought to table in an acceptable amount of time. Would definitely go back if in area. Didnt ask if server was one of the bros, but felt very much like a close family restaurant.

I was craving crepes and came upon Garcia Bros Cafe via GOOGLE! We went on a Saturday morning around 11am. We had to wait about 10min for a table that was actually estimated for 20-30min.The reviews are as legit as the food. The raspberry crepe was filled with fresh strawberries and was an exceptional size that I shared with the roomie. It wasnt too sweet, which was preferred. The raspberry spread was plentiful with every bite that was more tart than sweet. The sweetness kicks in from the whip cream.I was stuck on the egg sandwich or turkey club but decided on the club so I could take half to go for later. Plus, it came with fries. The photos of the food on Google are exactly how the food came out. The turkey club was so good and when I bit into it, it stayed together. Ive had sandwichs where one bite and it would fall apart. But this!!! None of that. Delicious and fresh.The fries were good as well. Not over fried or oily and had a bit of crisp to it like it was air fried or something.I also had an iced cafe Olla, which you could say is like a cold brew with a kick of cinnamon. It was sweet, not super strong in caffeine but refreshing and sweet.The waiters (no waitresses) were great! I loved the Garcia Bros polos. When I asked about the Cafe Olla, my server said I could try it, and if I didnt love it, he would take it back. I loved that as it let me discover something new that I now like!Overall, I spent about 40 including tip on two dishes and one drink. Id recommend this little gem. It gets busy and loved the community support.

A hidden (or not so hidden) gem!This is my new favorite breakfast place. The restaurant isnt big but theres still plenty of seating. Its got a nice atmosphere. All the staff is genuinely nice and welcoming.The food... Is Amazing. Bring an appetite becuase you wont want to leave a single bite behind!It was my husbands birthday and I casually mentioned it. Its not a chain restaurant si didnt expect anything but they came out with a decent size stack of Matcha pancakes. With a beautifully written message.My daughter ordered the 1+1+1. She got a beautiful big size mickey mouse buttermilk pancake.I ordered chilaquiles and holy cow, they were soooo good! (and Im a chilaquiles snob). The eggs were yummy, the avocado was in its prime and the chorizo was perfectly cooked. The chilaquiles were perfect, they were well covered in a delicious salsa but were still crunchy (I hate soggy chilaquiles).My husband ordered pumpkin pancakes, eggs, bacon and hash browns. The pancakes were delicious, the hash browns were spot on slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.The Cafe de Olla was so good. The best weve had at a restaurant (I had 3 cups!)I cant wait to go back to try other items on the menu!

I’m a big lover of chilaquiles. In my biased opinion, mine are the best. But these come really close lol the tortillas are nice and crispy. They have a house salsa thats fire. The ambiance is nice and clean. My daughter got their kids pancakes. Its 1+1+1 but she wasn’t going to eat the bacon and egg so the waiter was able to substitute them with strawberries. I love that they’re Mickey shaped too. The cold brew was tasty. And they have a wide selection of food. Its crazy that they have only been open for a year. The service was good too. They came to check on us often and didn’t disappear like other places. We got two plates of chilaquiles with add on of chorizo, a kid’s pancake, one iced coffee and two Mexican cokes; $62. Not bad at all. I will be back.

Parking is in the back, they are on a Main Street! They have indoor and outdoor dining which is nice. Sat outside and you can hear traffic but whatever not a big deal.Food is good and I ended up getting the huevos rancheros along with café de olla. It literally translates to coffee from a pot but its coffee with cinnamon and piloncillo (close to brown sugar) and along with milk of your choice.Server was attentive and would check in on us regularly. Got food relatively fast and I would come back.

I took my car in to get serviced and wanted to grab some breakfast while I waited. It was an easy 20 minute walk and this place has a 4.9 so I thought- that’s worth it! And Garcia Bros did not disappoint. I ordered a made to order scramble and it was huge and cooked perfectly. I got the hash browns with it and they were absolutely delicious. Great service, they checked on me and offered a homemade salsa to go with my meal. Definitely 5 stars 😊

I came in on a Sunday for breakfast. Has the Garcia Chilaquiles done scrambled with chorizo. Large plate,can be eaten between two or three people. Also order the Matcha Berry Pancakes. Absolutely delicious and not too sweet. It was packed up on arrival. Received an outdoor chair and table as I brought my pup with me. Service was ok. I did come in on Sunday and it was busy.

Serves great tasting food with a solid base menu and lots of great rotating specials. Service is extremely friendly and when its time to pay they take care of the whole transaction at your table. Not a lot of restaurants have a legit 4.8+ rating for a reason, its hard to please the masses. This place makes everyone happy!Lots of dog friendly outdoor seating. Indoor seating is also available.

I was in heaven eating the wet burrito . You can tell the sauce is fresh and that the chef cares about how the meal is prepared. There are so many good items on the menu, it was difficult to decide which was best to order. But I’m so glad I chose this one. There is just enough bacon that you taste it in each bite. The eggs are perfectly prepared, not wet or too dry, just like they should be. I can’t explain how delish one breakfast burrito could be. It’s definitely a place to come back to whenever I’m back on this side of town.Let’s not forget about the service Gustavo and Marino were so helpful and polite. Marino explained the way the chef prepared the sauces each day and told me some people actually buy them. I plan on buying sauce also if they let me. Gustavo was very thorough in explaining the menu items I was interested in and how the chef prepares each item fresh. He even brought my doggie, Wallace, a water bowl without my having to ask. I appreciate the care and respect both gentlemen showed me and my doggie. I was so happy with my meal, I actually told the guy at the dealership to come with his co-workers on their lunch or whenever. Hopefully they show up one day. This is a gem of a place.

Absolutely phenomenal! From the service, to the food, drinks, and overall presentation- the Garcia Bros have got it down. Tried this cafe for the first time today and it definitely did not disappoint. Ordered the eggs Benedict, iced coffee, orange juice, strawberry-banana-blueberry crepe and the banana Nutella crepe. The entire experience was incredible. The staff really takes pride in their establishment and the service is on point. The food is so very fresh and they definitely take their time making it amazing. Definitely will be back to try everything on the menu. If I could give 100 stars, I would.

This place is so solid. Our favorite breakfast and brunch spot in our district. Food is excellent, clean, great service, very friendly, what else! Everything positive. Must try if you haven’t! This review it’s been long overdue! I’ve been coming here since they open and I’ve tried their breakfast and lunch 🥗 and let me tell you the food doesn’t disappoint at all!! I truly have liked everything I’ve tried so far! Tiramisu pancakes my fav. The chilaquiles they give a huge portion, and they’re really great. We’ve been here twice for breakfast and we’ll keep coming back! I recommend the hot chi tea latte or cafe de olla to drink as they are both very tasty. We’ve tried the chilaquiles, breakfast burrito, their special blueberry French toast, build you own omelette and the star of the show, Tiramisu pancakes. The ingredients were fresh, the presentation great and the food delicious! Overall, definitely a solid 4 out 5 stars leaning towards a 4.5

We got out of church and agreed we were all starving (party of 6). We yelped a local restaurant and came across “Garcia Bros Cafe”. Best decision ever!! Everything was 10/10, customer service, ambiance, location, cleanliness, and the food was Bomb! The portions were big and the menu prices were not bad at all. There are other places that charge the same and portions are way smaller. So there you go, we found a gem in Van Nuys to grub at when we’re hungry and craving bomb food! So glad we found this place! Really kind and friendly staff (from hostess to servers), very reasonable prices, great service, and absolutely DELICIOUS food! Came for breakfast and am excited to go back to and try lunch...and well...everything else on the menu!Also, its dog-friendly and while it may be located on a busy street, the outside patio is far enough from the road that you dont hear any of it. And dont worry about finding metered street parking. Theres a big (free) lot on the back!

This is some of the best breakfast in L.A. Everything was extremely fresh and very flavorful. Certainly does the L.A. burrito justice, and has lots of options for vegetarians, carnivores, and sweet lovers alike. Speaking of sweets, you must try their tiramisu pancakes!! My girlfriend and I decided to go to whatever restaurant that was open on Christmas. They opened at 8am and we both got chilaquiles and matcha pancakes. They were delicious and the service was great! The restaurant started getting full pretty quick and they had seating inside and outside. Food was not expensive and it came out very fast and looked beautiful! I will definitely return to this place. I give it five stars. A must go! Parking out back!

Very excellent experience. Aside from the food being delicious the service was top notch. I had the French toast and it was great. Nice cinnamon and vanilla flavor and perfectly cooked. I also had the bacon and eggs which were also exceptionally done. You can tell they care about their food because every plate that came to our table was photo worthy. Make sure you try the homemade salsa.

This place was so good! The first matcha blueberry pancakes I’ve ever actually liked. They’re so fluffy and delicious. Everyone in my family loved the food so much and we’ve already been back for the matcha blueberry pancakes. The pics are from the first time we went & as you can see we were so excited to eat before I could even remember to take the pics. We also got there 30 min before closing and I thought they wouldn’t take us in but they did. The two guys who helped us were so nice and friendly. I think they might’ve been the owners but even if they weren’t the service was excellent & just really nice people. They were quick & attentive too with everything from the service to the food. What a gem. We were here on a Sunday morning around 11:00 a.m. for brunch. It was crowded but not overly. Food was delicious. One of the members of our party is in a wheelchair. There was plenty of parking including handy capable spots and a large bathroom with easy accessibility. So many things on the menu sound delicious .We are already planning a return visit.

What a gem this place. Small cafe near the Van Nuys courthouse with incredibly delicious food! Food was fresh, they have a great selection of items, and service was excellent. Can’t rave enough about this place. It feels very gourmet quality. Their prices are also super reasonable (they could easily charge more for this quality). Our family came for breakfast and has the matcha pancakes (so yum and fluffy), chilaquiles (delicious), and Nutella crepe (kids enjoyed). Best of all they had a good Cafe de Olla coffee.

I came here with my mom because she wanted to try the pumpkin pancakes they have until thanksgiving and i had a GREAT experience. Servers were so helpful and kind, always had smiles on their faces and were so attentive. Definitely coming here again. I tried the red velvet pancakes and their iced matcha latte. the red velvet pancakes i felt were a little plain for my taste but i like excessive sugar lol. i expected there to be white chocolate chips in them and there wasnt but were still pretty good! the iced matcha latte was deliciously sweetened and again will be coming here again!

Amazing all around service, taste, and ambiance. This is the best bfast food Ive had in a long time. Waited for a special day to enjoy the great food by the Garcia Bros. Had the pumpkin pancakes, eggs w bacon, chilaquiles, and the most delicious café de olla. Honestly the best Ive had! Thank you for making this day extra special!Only real issue is the wait on weekends so try to get there early or better yet, stop by during the week. They offer breakfast all day so you can sneak away from work for lunch or breakfast.

My boyfriend had the regular coffee and I had café de olla.My boyfriend enjoyed his chicken and waffles but was disappointed that his chicken was cut up into bite size pieces. He wanted to see a chicken piece in his plate, but was bummed to see chicken strips cut up.I ordered the spicy chicken omelet and the flavor was good but the jalapeño did not bring any heat to the plate. Food was just ok. Service was lacking, asked for water from our server and had to ask another one after 15mins of being ignored. We then asked for our check and he forgot again, after about 12min we had to remind him even then we had to repeat what we ordered for him to bring up the right check. I’ve been an executive chef for over 13 years so I very well know the struggle of running a restaurant, but if your staff is this complacent you need to hire more people. There are about 10-15 table with a majority of the tables for 2. They have 2 servers and I believe 1 runner, more than anything this should be a re-training situation.I had the matcha pancakes. The matcha flavor was lost in the overpowering batter mix, it’s tough to get the right ratio but at this point they were just green pancakes. I would suggest making a green tea whipped cream to enhance the matcha aspect. We also had to ask for syrup, you would assume it would automatically come if we had a waffle and pancakes.. Possibly a poor training/standard aspect. Overall I probably won’t be coming back

The food is absolutely amazing! I would recommend to any and everyone. Everyone is so friendly and the service is amazing. You are sat quickly and the food comes out fast. My family and I have been coming every weekend to make sure we are able to try everything :)

What a great find!!! Quite arguably the best waffle I have had in my 60+ years. The chicken and waffles are outstanding! Everything is made fresh from scratch in/house. Fabulous food; fresh, hip environment. Great service. Generous portions. Very reasonable prices Did I say how DELICIOUS the waffles are??? And that chicken? Sublime!

Super welcoming & friendly! Great food. Loved the chilaquiles & cafe de olla. They keep the coffee & smiles flowing. Inside was consistently full. We sat outside next to a heater in patio area with our small dog. Never felt rushed even tho customers kept coming. We went around noon on a Thursday. Parking in back lot. I imagine weekends are very busy tho! Well definitely be back to try more dishes!

First time and last time at this establishment. My orange juice had thick clumps of clear gooey matter, almost like snot. Even the hostess was disgusted when it was brought to her attention. They didnt explain to me what it was and simply apologized. This alone should have been my red flag to leave but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and stayed for the rest of my meal. I ordered the most basic thing thinking what can go wrong. The scrambled eggs were runny and the hash browns were mushy burnt potatoes. Overall just a bad experience. If you like a good breakfast, this is not the place.

The food is very bad, tasteless and very cold, and the coffee tastes like mud. The service is very slow. The staff were good and friendly and thats the only good thing. I had ordered a breakfast order for several people to take out, and when I got home, I was surprised by the level of food compared to the prices. I do not recommend this cafe

Food was fresh, value, and plentiful on the plate. Free parking in the rear (enter off Tyrone Ave) plenty of outside seating too. I had the Huevos Rancheros Special (adding the chicken made it special). That the tortillas under it all were made crispy made a big positive difference than how most restaurants make it. The owner and servers were attentive without being overwhelming. If your from the courts tell them when you need to be back by and they will oblige. Lots of menu choices, fair prices.

We were excited to try this place due to the excellent reviews. The food was average. The service left a lot to be desired. We had the meat omelet, chilaquiles, and tiramisu pancakes. The chilaquiles were cold and nothing to write home about. Disappointed.

Garcia Bros is our favorite breakfast restaurant in the Valley! The brothers and Jose (our favorite waiter) take very good care of us. Always make us feel special. They know how we like our specual coffee, eggs and WELL done bacon! Parking is great front or back. Delicious food. We try to come every Sunday.
