The food here is very tasty, they have a regular menu and a vegan menu. I love the vegan champorrado, horchata, tamales, pombasos, tortas, machaca, nachos, and burritos, all vegan. This is a stop I always make when Im in the area. The workers are also happy to answer questions and make ordering easy. There is indoor and outdoor seating, with plenty of parking. I highly recommend to try the food and drinks here.

Well worthy of a five star for serving an area with limited vegan options but half of the items missed. Those that hit were sooooo danky that it made up for the others.What we liked: the Milanese torta is perfect, get that! The piña colada was also a flavorful and nostalgic, a must get to wash down the food. Take a queso fresco home and put it on everything. This should be your order!What missed: we were most excited for the albondigas soup but it was a bit bland. Maybe we’ll go back when it gets cold to see if it hits any different. The cheese on the chili fries was also not what I personally like in the plant-based era we are in. Maybe I got the wrong sweets but the gansitos were not fluffy and sweet but rather stiff.Food did not take long (we ordered a good amount, about $100) so I’ll definitely check it out again when I’m the area (maybe twice a year). Several vegan options 😋 including Mexican, burgers, chili fries, and dessert. They also offer large food portions. Chili cheese fries can be shared with 4 as a side or 2 as a meal. Burritos are large enough to share also. We will definitely be back.

They always have had good food. Over time added many vegan options also however last visit the man at the window forgot the chips and salsa and then gave them once asked but was disappointed when my son asked for a refill of horchata he was told had to buy another one at 4+$ he asked for another type of drink and was denied. In the future can go down the road to Chris burger better prices and food any way

I never write reviews on food places lol but I miss this place so much, I moved to SB and I crave this all the time. Their desserts are fire, their service is outstanding, they are the nicest people. The best thing I’ve had there I cannot decide because it is all SO GOOD. Been vegan for 6 years now, we need more places like this in the world! Vegan review of the food. Everything I have tried thus far is very flavorful and the portions are very generous. My favorite items by far are the tamales, it is all about the masa (dough). Had the jalapeno & cheese and the green jackfruit. I have also had the potato taquitos, the red jackfruit nachos, the california burrito with adobo cauliflower and the enchilada with adobo cauliflower. What I like the most is that they have a separate kitchen for all the vegan food items, so there is no cross contamination with non- vegan items containing animals and animal by-products. The wait time is a hit or miss, it can be super long or super short & quick. I recommend this establishment and will return.

Great place. Best place for vegan food around here as far as I’m concerned. I’ve been going here for years and they always add new items. Just fantastic. They even have some vegan desserts most of the time! The champurrado and horchata are really good too. Anyway it’s not just a vegan place, they have regular food too. I highly recommend. We had meat eaters with us and they said the vegan options were so delicious! Everyone loved how authentic and delicious everything was. And the servers were so nice as well. Absolutely recommend!

After following Garduno’s for a long time on IG this place has been on my radar for so long. After watching the progression of the vegan menu, I had to make time to come out and try this place out.The vegan albóndigas were so delicious! Such a great meaty texture! The vegan tres leches cake was so spongy and had a great coconut taste to it and the icing was immaculate. I recommend trying the bacon breakfast burrito, so amazing! The “egg” is nice and fluffy. The vegan chili cheese fries are incredible and taste just like regular chili cheese fries.This place is a hit and I would definitely recommend it to any non-vegan’s wanting to try vegan food for the first time.

First timer. I ordered the green jackfruit burrito, fries, chilies and a drink. The burrito was yummy, flavorful and arrived hot still! The portions were generous and my request for both salsas was fulfilled. The green sauce was robust with hints of spice. The red sauce was okay, consistency was less blended and flavor was basic. The Jamaica was where the star was lost. The drink was huge (awesome) but not the flavor, it was very sweet in my opinion. I definitely wont let this stop me from re-ordering via UberEats! Recommend for vegetarians!

Finally! A great Vegan Mexican Food joint! I was able to see someone post on social media, and decided to drive out to give it a try! They had a huge selection for their Vegan menu! Best of all was that also had other selections as well! I want to apologize at first because the pictures I took of the food was after I plated them from a togo order, just to be a little safer from the COVID-19 craziness. I’ll make sure to take better photos next time!FoodCauliflower Taco & Jackfruit Taco - my wife was the one that got these, I tried a bite, and thought they were pretty nice but definitely spicy. I don’t know if there will be an option to get no spicy next time. I enjoyed it at least.Al Pastor Taco - this was pretty good, well marinated and cooked, but I believe this may not be the same pastor you may expect from like a taco truck. Still pretty good.Vegan Fries- this was quite good, we ended up getting half jackfruit and half cauliflower, but I believe next time we would just go w the cauliflower for more texture.Vegan Quesadilla- this was by far one of my kids and our favorite dish. Had the nice little crunchy texture on the outside but loaded on the inside with vegan cheese. Everyone should give this a try.Again I’m glad we were able to try this place. First time here. Recommended by a coworker. I tried the bean and cheese burrito (wet) and a hard shell shredded beef taco. The taco was small for $4, it taste pretty good. The burrito was big ($8) but I think they charged me $2-3 to make it wet. I had the green sauce and wasn’t prepared for it to be spicy (hot). Also over priced. It Al tasted freshly cooked though which is probably why it took so long. I will go back to try their menudo. Hopefully it’s good and will become my go to gif great menudo

A Hidden Jem ! This place is the best! Im So Glad that I found this restaurant. I cant believe that there was a gluten free mexican restaurant in Baldwin Park. I love this place! So many vegan options! You need to try everything on the menu . It never disappoints. Also they cook all their vegan items on their own spot in the kitchen so there’s no cross contamination or worry that your food will come into contact with or will be cooked on the same spot that animals are cooked on . DO NOT order from this place.Absolutely HORRIBLE! Made the mistake and ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon cheese and potatoes. OMG. They took one strip of bacon and broke it into 3 tiny pieces, then packed the burrito with hard potatoes that were under cooked with tons of onions. No cheese. DISGUSTING!! I guess they have no bacon and don’t know how to cook potatoes. What a waste of money.

All 3 sauces were amazing, and the fillings must have been simmering in the sauces as it they were all tender and the flavors married.Adding this place to my favorites. Very busy even near closing time. Phoned my order but I guess one of the orders was off since they didnt have soyrizo burritos at night time (my mistake, it is a breakfast burrito technically). Since it was so busy I waited around 10 minutes until I could go to the window, I still had to wait another 10 minutes for my vegan nachos with adobo cauliflower. I had the green jackfruit before (red is spicy) and the adobo is really good too!I wont visit near closing time again, since its so popular expect to wait! I think I prefer Plant Love Food in El Monte because the food is just as good, more options for main, and similar prices, tho the portions are smaller. Also the vegan fries are cheaper there and less waiting in general

Vegan horchata was very good, couldnt tell the difference. Vegan potato taquitos with rice and beans was delicious. The guacamole and crema was on point. Unfortunately I could not enjoy any of the vegan tacos I ordered (asada, jackfruit, cauliflower) because they did not put the salsa on the side like I asked. The salsa overpowered the tacos and thats all I could taste.

Love the vegan options! The only one thats kinda eeehhh is the jackfruit. When they prepare it, they keep the seeds in the mix, so if you enjoy that then go ahead and give it a try. Its too sweet for me. But the vegan asada is bomb and best in the quesadilla. The impossible burger is bomb too, so are the vegan wet burritos and the vegan chili tacos. I could go on and on about this spot, its for sure a favorite! The vegan desserts are amazing too.

If I could I give zero starts I would. I’ve been here multiple times, and every single time the male cashier with glasses always has an attitude. He’s very impatient and has a snarky tone each time you ask for something. We brought up his attitude with the female manager and she did not apologize for his behavior nor did the cashier. The food is good, but not worth the terrible customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Rating: 3 1/2 out of 5.Can someone tell me why a vegetarian order such as vegan meatballs cost close to $20.00 and a beef stew/caldo de res and carnitas plate each cost close to $14.00. I thought vegan dishes supposed to be cheaper. Following Gardunos way of thinking, an order of potato tacos has to be more expensive than an order of carn asada/al pastor/carnitas, etc! WHY!!!The only plates that I really like from here is the menudo 41/2 out of 5 and the carnitas plate 3 1/2 out of 5. The salsas are decent. I think King tacos, Tacos Mexico, and even some of el Pollo Loco salsas are better. Garduno can easily improve the salsas and those ridiculous vegan dishes. Overall, some dishes are really goid and is worth going there just for that but others are ordinary.

Whaat....vegan options in Baldwin Park!!! I had the opportunity to stop at Gardunos and I went with the vegan basic, the bean and cheese burrito. Now, as far as the rest of the menu... Anything you get will satisfy your palate, as well as your hunger! Ordered uber eats delivery for them. Ordered the machacha plate with no onions or bell peppers and it still had onions in it and was cold. The meat in the machacha plate was very tasty though. Also ordered taquitos where they said it would come with 4 and it came with 3. The taquitos also didnt have much meat in them. Guacamole was a bit sour but I guess edible. Also ordered the vegetarian burrito thankfully with no salsa and that was practically ice cold when we got it. Which was weird since it was well wrapped. My boyfriend wasnt happy with the burrito even when warmed up. And the number one thing my boyfriend wanted me to put in this review is how horrible and burning hot the salsa was. Like actually wasnt spicy tasty it was literally too hot to handle hot. He literally had to use milk and sour cream multiple times and it was only a little dip with the tortilla chips. The vegetarian burrito was supposed to have this salsa on it and I asked for it on the side thank goodness they followed those instructions because we would have had to throw the whole thing away thats how bad it was. And yes he does like salsa just this was just too hot. Oh and before you say our food was cold because we were too far, we live like 5 min from the restaurant and the delivery person was waiting for the order to be done before he could come and didnt like get there after it was already ready if you get what I mean so I have no idea why everything was so cold.

I love this place. If you have any questions (and if you reach out to them) they respond! Im so in love with this place because of the amazing vegan options they also offer. I have ordered the Impossible Burger and it is soo delicious! I have also ordered food through postmates a couple times. I recommend the vegan tamales. They have red tamales, green tamales, and tamales de rajas (vegan options). I also liked their Vegan Jackfruit Nachos and especially the tacos de Coliflor. It was so worth it! I would also recommend the Horchata. My husband also got a torta de asada and he loved it too. I cant wait to go back and try the other vegan options they have to offer.

Even though I find vegan menus to be foolish... Gardunos does it right!! Starfruit and cauliflower as meat substitutes, I respect that. Most places use Lab created processed fake food or soy and Gardunos just uses fruit and vegetables with good flavor.

It was decent, it needs less beans for me. It started out disappointing because it was mostly beans and rice at the top then like a quarter in was the actual cauliflower. Haha. It’s HUGE though, def. worth the money. The flavor is definitely adobo but a bit on the medium spicy side but I’m not complaining. The vegan horchata is interesting. It’s pretty gritty/grainy but not very flavorful.

Ordered a California Burrito and a couple tacos of Carnitas and Cabeza.Burrito was big but was full of beans with little meat. It should have struck me as odd that there was not one trash recepticle in site. The second thing is that its named Gardunos but not related to the original one in E. L.A. This place doesnt even deserve one point of one star. It was overpriced and over spiced. With all the wrong spices. The French fries were old and re fried. The pulled pork sandwich tasted like mayo and salt only. The Al pastor tasted only like cayanne pepper and paprika. Even the hamburger had some awful spice on it. The carnitas taco was supposed to not have Chile. But it had green chili in it. This has had to been the worse dining experience Ive had in a long time. I now feel sick to my stomach. I never write reviews but this was too much. But dont take my for it. Go waste your money your time time and your appetite. Then come back and write an honest review. Yuck. Gardunos sux!
