Good food for a good price. I got the pepperoni pizza and pizza bread. I felt like the pizza bread could have been cooked a bit longer, but other than that I will be coming back to dine in so I can check out the atmosphere and service.

One word.....PIZZA!!!!I also love the Nachos . Its the plane type of nachos with cheese sauce and lots of jalapenos, but I love them.Back to what hit the 5 STAR. THE PIZZA !!! TRY AND YOU WILL BE AMAZED. IM HOOKED . Combo, meat, and pepperoni pizza is what I have tried, DELICIOUS. Ill keep you updated on the sandwiches.

Very good food! The wings simply melt in your mouth! We ordered pizza because my little one kept asking for it and we are glad we chose to order from Gateway. We definitely recommend. :)

Owners were nice and professional as usual. Chicken strips were good. Cheese sticks were loaded with cheese and the pepperoni pizza with white garlic sauce was incredible. They make their own ranch dressing which goes great with the chicken and pizza.

The hours posted say 2pm...the owners are always late. They dont show up til about 230 each day. There were customers in the parking lot that left due to not wanting to wait.

Just tried the pizza for the 1st time tonight. I have lived in Merced for many years and have tried all the pizza places, but wanted to try something new. I searched pizza on google and saw this place had really good reviews except for 1 review where someone said the owner was really rude.I ordered a small pizza and a few subs which were all incredible. The subs are delicious and the pizza is outstanding. It is really authentic and delicious. I live on the north east side of town off bear creek, but it is definitely worth the drive. I was thinking since the restaurant isnt in the best side of town it might be a little dirty inside when come to find out it is very clean inside. I will be going back soon. I am unsure who would write a review stating the owner is rude when in reality he is a very nice person after talking to him. 5 star!!!!!

Good sandwiches. Good pizza baked or take and bake. Decent prices. The staff is always nice. Theres usually a semi long wait time getting the food if you go in and order. They accept ebt for cold sandwiches and take and bake pizza.

Always excellent service and the food is so delicious. They are very friendly and keep the place clean. Its all fresh veggies n meats. There service is speedy n very efficient. I have been going here for over a year n will continue going here as long as they stay open, which i hope is for a very long time. 😁 i would recommend this place to Everyone n have recommended to my family n others and they Love it also! ❤

Tonight was the first time that Ive tried this place. It might just be the best pizza around here. The potato wedges were amazing, as well. Definitely, will be getting more pizza from this place. If you havent tried it, you are missing out.

After having a sub from Gateway, I could never eat at subway or any other sub sandwhich chain again. The food is always excellent and fresh. The staff is friendly and courteous. Now, as a regular, I will continue to recommend this establishment.

Xtra large combination take and bake pizza, hands down the best pie town!Fresh toppings and quality dough.Leave the pizza in the white paper and slide the cardboard off set to 425 for 12 minutes (add time for desired crust)LolRemove from oven let sit a couple minutes then cut and enjoy.

Just moved to Merced, sampled many pizza joints and this one is by far the best! Cooked to perfection! The owners are very nice and play good punjab music which sounds good even to an African American. I would recommend this place and the vegetarian combination pizza with pineapples. I dont think I will be eating anywhere else in Merced except here, since Ive had nothing but bad luck.

🤦‍♀️horrible.. first time going here.. I was so excited to try this place with all the good reviews n pictures.. I dont know if the meat was bad n old but it made us sick.. ( 3 of us) the sausage n ground beef both taste like freezer burned bad meat.. we picked off those meats and tried eating it but the flavor of those 2 meats ruined the pizzas.. we paid 64 bucks for 3 pizzas and literally threw it all out.. very bummed it wasnt as good as it looked!

Philly cheese steak or chicken are delicious. Fresh tender chicken or steak with peppers and swiss I think it was. The roll tasted fresh baked and oven toasted. Ill definitely return to try more menu items like the pizza or salads. Maybe some chicken wings! Ha!

This is by far my favorite pizza around. I drive about 20 minutes to get this pizza. There is nothing like it. I wish they had higher then 5 star because it is truly the best. I always get extra pizza sauce on the pizza and sides of the homeade ranch. Their ranch is also the best ranch I have ever had. I would recomend the take and bake, we have found it is the best way to do it so it is hot when you eat it.

This place is amazing it hold many great memories besides having amazing pizza and subs, the best of the best in my opinion has got to be the combination loaded with Linguiça and all the cheese you can handle, I really enjoy the friendship I have with the owners really great people, when I had a family this was our go to joint to get great food, and enjoy the warm atmosphere lol

Love this place! Their philly cheese steak is tops. I also like that little garden salad they make, has cucumber, carrot, onion, and a little tub of dressing. I highly recommend this pizzeria. I partake of their specials at least once a week!

Its a little whole in the wall and they have good food, especially like there cheese bread as well as the chili cheese fries. A good place to visit when hungry for something quick. Prices are also pretty good.

I’ve been going to this place for a while now. Today would be the last time due to being unprofessional. I placed an order, the guy told me it would be ready in 20mins. My husband went to go pick the order and the guy told him there is no order. No one called. That maybe I called some where else. Merced only has 2 take n bake places, that’s Gateway and Papa Murphy. Never Again
