Very nice place. Great staff. Food is awesome chicken is really good salad is really fresh and the dressing is wonderful. The sauces are mild but full of flavor.Price is descent. Close to the bus stop.I had the buffet. Its worth the price.

I ordered the Chicken Shawarma plate, the gryo wrap, the chicken wrap, the aushak & the Quabili Pallaw. This was my first-time ordering from here, Ive also never had Afghan or Mediterranean food before, but I do know what good food tastes like! And everything was seasoned so well, everything has big servings, even the gyros! they were stuffed with overflowing meat and ingredients! Me and my family loved every bite! We will definitely be ordering here again! Also, they said it would be ready in 25minutes and it was already packaged and ready for pick up at exactly 25minutes!

So Good!! We ordered the chicken wrap, chicken shawarma plate, Philly cheese, cheeseburger, and samosas. Everything was so delicious. Very flavorful. The presentation was perfect. Kids loved it too. Will definitely be back in soon. The interior smelled and looked very clean, the decor is beautiful as well, great place to host a party. They also have a buffet during the day that looks so good too.

Got here late afternoon and absolutely nobody was here, just a really big empty dining room. Ordered some typical meats with the fixins and thoroughly unimpressed. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing but my meat was quite bland and the rice was even more so. Im not even sure how rice can get even more bland because thats all it is but idk maybe the texture was just weird. For there being absolutely nobody there, our server was pretty good at disappearing too LOL.Food: 3/10Service: 4/10Vibes: 4/10Value: 4/10

Nice venue, absolutely delicious food, great family run business! We hosted a memorial service here and all guests were pleased with Ghazni. Definitely recommend booking with them. Will be visiting again soon!!

This is one of the best, Afghanistani clean and romantic places to eat a real authentic Food from Afghanistan!!! I got my food after 15 minutes which is the fastest ti e for a meal in Afghanistan Authentic food!!!! I post some pictures of the delicious food they serve, the Bolani is nice cooked,the beef And Chicken Kabab wan cooked the way it should and I dont know how to complement their chamblee Kabab with the tremendous Spicy sauce they make on this restaurantThey serve the best food!!! the staff is super friendly with great attitudeThey also cater for parties and if you want to have nice and great place to hold your party Ghani Restaurant is the place you should reserve for a reasonable food and party price

The food can be amazingly good or pretty bad. The quality of the meat really seems to vary, sometimes it is moist, flavorful, and perfectly grilled...and sometimes the meat is overcooked and has that halal blood taste.Overall, theres always something in our order that is delicious and makes us want to return. But there is usually something that makes me wonder why I continue to return as well.I wish they could keep their act together.

Best Afghan restaurant in bay area hands down. Their dinning area is beautiful, the service is very delightful and not to forget the food! Ordered the Chapli kabab plate and it was Delicious! The rice and kabon cooked to perfection, the salad was very fresh and the bread right from the oven as well. This place has a great Vibe. Highly recommend the Chapli kabob!

This review is strictly for their lunch buffet. Went on a Friday around 1pm and should have known better since there was no one dining there, it was totally empty. The buffet food selection was mediocre and not heated to or maintained at a good temperature. Almost every dish was underheated and not even warm. Barely ate one plate, mainly because I felt bad for the staff and didnt want to walk out. The chicken dishes were dry and overcooked. The kofta (basically afghan meatballs) was decent, the flavor was ok, had a little zip to it and was the best tasting item in the buffet. Not worth the $15. They need to advertise their buffet more, get the word out and do a better job with the food temperature consistency (its a health hazard) and turn over the food better.

I had my party here of 100 family and friends. It went real smooth. I spoke to tee who is the owner and runs the operation I guess. What he promised he definitely delivered. The food was amazing! The staff was very friendly. I felt like it was my place. He was lenient. Hands down 5 stars all the way. I loved the outdoor patio that let us use. We brought the hookah the drinks. That was the use of the patio. The price of the food was a deal!!!

Second location for this restaurant, still great food. Kebabs are flavorful and well cooked, rice and salads tasty. Bolani is amazing, stuffed bread so big that after it is cut into pieces, they still need to be stacked onto each other in a pizza box for delivery!

My first time ordering from this location. I usually go to A street. Ordered potato bolani, Chapli kabob, chicken kabob and kabuli pilau with lamb shank all with carrots and raisins on the rice. The bolani was extra delicious today though the slices were cut bigger than the A st location. The meat quality of lamb was excellent and tender. The chicken was moist, mild and flavorful and the Chapli kabob was reliable. Two large pieces. Happy as usual! This location has also resumed 7 item buffet Mon-Sat (closed Sunday). Cant wait to eat a buffet of Afghan food at a $20 price point thats fairly insane for food of this quality.

Delicious Afghan cuisine, and extraordinary service from the owner who went out of his way to cater a special meal for our small group on a holiday. Menu has lots of options for vegetarians and they can make many things vegan by leaving off the yogurt sauce (which is super creamy yummy). The eggplant Borani Banjan is especially rich. Shor Nakhod chickpea potato salad is refreshing, as is the house salad with yogurt-based dressing. Were fans of the Bolani turnovers filled with leeks, and the Mantu dumplings topped with lentils. Weve eaten several times at the original A Street location, and the new Winton location has an even bigger kitchen and the dining room can accommodate events for 150 people. Looking forward to our next visit!

I went there last month for the first time and ordered lamb and chicken kabobs. Everything tasted so good. Both meat were really tender and juicy. The rice was so fluffy, the bread was really tasty and even the green chutney was so tasty. It is also a really big serving. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. We made a little change with the order and they were ok with it.The place was very clean and they were following all covid protocols.I highly recommend this place.

I am always a pro supporter to our brothers and sisters who are working hard to serve us halal food. And always complain about people who try to say any negative review and asks them to be patient instead and try to give another chance. But today I was extremely disappointed from Ghanzi Afghan Kebob house. We were invited to my friend’s baby welcoming party. I am the one who suggested Ghanzi kebob after all what people said (before Ramadan) about their food/catering. And I was planning to do my daughter’s birthday party there after Ramadan and thought it will be a chance to try it. Their charging price was 30$/person and we were a party of 70 ppl. I will just state what was on the menu and will leave it up to you to decide if that was a fair amount or just way over charged!-Green salad in a plastic container with barely sauce drizzled on top. Basically a dry salad-plan white rice-mushed rice with some veggies that you can’t see because it was all over cooked and very mushy (same as the rice I used to make for my daughter as a baby)-a some kind of sauce maybe curry 🤷🏻‍♀️with tiny little pieces of chicken mainly wings- chicken/beef kebob (were hard to chew) and there is a lady that serves u two pieces of each 🤦‍♀️-some kind of mixed okra and potatoes.My husband and I used to own a restaurant (not anymore) and that is basically not even close to what we used to serve for our brunch buffer for 13$!!! Yes 13$$$$$ I come from a restaurant business background and this food that was served (looks like it was cooked last minute just to fill up the bar) definitely not worth a 30$/person. When you say afghani restaurant paying 30$ you would expect more variety ( manti, qabli rice at least with carrots and raisins, the eggplant dish not sure what is called and some kind of bollani at least!). I am extremely disappointed and embarrassed as an the one who suggested the place to our friends. I understand it’s Ramadan,everyone is working hard but also as costumers we expect to get what we pay for. And enjoy a good experience. I wish the owner would read this review and try to improve in the future because all what I can say he lost 70 customers just today because every single person was disappointed!Forgot to mention more to the story. The reservation was confirmed couple days before and a deposit of 300$ was paid and asked the owner/manager to send a menu (never did) called the place many times the last two days no body answered. And yet finally today someone picked up and they actually forgot about the reservation today! Claiming that we never called two days before ?!! Huh? I mean 300$ paid as a deposit? Lets say we forgot to call, you would never check to say that those people paid 300$ and never called? After going back and forth and we were terrified because we actually have 70 ppl expected to come. And we can’t change to a different restaurant same day on a Saturday! they gave many excuses and each one was throwing it on the other manager (not professional and disorganized). It was 11 am, So they claimed its last minute and they can’t make everything on the buffet! Well Azan is around 8pm ! Its hard to believe that they can’t make more items. And what got to my nerves is that they had someone stand next to the kebobs and serves only two pieces each!!! Kebobs were the only star of the buffet and this is a private party not your regular buffet! The manager who was today was absolutely not welcoming. Whatever the scenario is, Wether we agreed on food or not, confirmed before or not …. A restaurant should not serve this kind of food for a 30$ per person!

I just moved to Hayward and I chose this shop for my first take out dinner. The food is delicious and I am ecstatic. I ordered the murgh kabob (chicken) and samosas. The samosas blew my mind, so good I will from here on judge all future samosas on how they compare to Ghazni samosas. The chicken kabob was also excellent with additional delicious rice and satisfying sides. Happy to meet my new go-to place for dinner!

They have the best Afghan kabobs that I have ever tasted! I have tried both the chicken and beef kabobs and their flavor is just incomparable especially topped with the red sauce . Its not just the food that makes this place great though, its the friendly service that the staff and the owners Tee and Tawab always provide. They came to my table to check if I needed anything multiple times. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to try delicious Afghan cuisines.
