It is well run. They have their little specialties at competitive value. The fish sashimi size was reasonable. I went during winter season so I was able to get yellow tail which is fattier during this time of year.The roll flavors were also good. Spicy tuna was good.

I can’t not say this is the best sushi spot in Lakewood. The pieces are always a good size, they are timely, and the servers are really nice. The prices are sensible, despite the happy hour menu not having the deals that it used to have prior to this weird “recession/inflation”, you can still come here and get good value for quality sushi.And they always have a game on, they have a projector and plenty of TV’s so you won’t miss anything!

Had a reservation but stood around for 10 minutes before anyone greated us, even though it wasn’t very busy. Slow service, definitely mediocre sushi. Prices are affordable, so I guess that’s good? This place came highly recommended from someone, but I won’t be back.

There are a lot of sushi snobs out there that wont give them 5 stars because of quality of sushi, ambiance, etc. But heres the deal: happy hour prices all day, $2 wine and beer (in fact my wifes wine was cheaper than my iced tea), great prices, good quality, and deep menu. I hate sushi rolls that are huge. I need something bite size that can be savored in one bit. This place does it.Is it the best décor? No. Is it super top quality? No. But its fresh, the servers take your order and dont bother you, cheap drinks, and for $50, in todays economy, you can get a whole lot of sushi. Its definitely worth going to!

Im a world of mediocre customer service, this is definitely 5 stars. We had a couple minute wait and they were so nice and have us egg rolls. Ok, we didnt wait but a minute, and they were so nice and apologetic. They were busy.The good was good and the process were better, but overall you cant beat the did, price and service. I will be back and bring my friend. Very enjoyable

Amazing service, great fresh testing sushi, competitive prices & they take reservations. They are always hustling every time we go. Emily, is usually our waitress, and is always on top of her guests having a great time. This is one of my wifes and my favorite date night spots.

Rice tasted off like it wasnt either the correct kind or just sitting for way too long or not prepared correctly.Our experience... We ordered 5 things to get started and they said is that it? Food was slow to arrive and just ok dish after ok dish. We had to remind the server that we ordered 5 things not 3 after we finished eating the first three dishes.We ordered a few additional things and they were all just middle of the road. I would only recommend really sauce heavy rolls. The actual sushi we got was not good and we kinda regret ordering it instead of just more rolls.Would I recommend this place probably not.Not too expensive but kinda a bland experience. It feels like bland college cafeteria food.

Rolls and sides were very tasty. Remember they put a kinda vinaigrette over their rainbow rolls. Its not bad but if youre not used to it, it can be overwhelming. I usually do without it and use soy sauce instead. Service was excellent and they are good on soda refills. Good price for the all you can eat.

Staff was all nice and the sushi bar very lively. my toddler enjoyed a free kids meal while the rest of us had 3 rounds of all you can eat sushi. it was all tasty and reasonably priced. we even got some happy hour sake for only $1! taking off one star just cause the sushi service was a little slow and we had an appetite, but otherwise we were very satisfied and will return

I gave this place three tries and was not happy. Even the last time around I found about a fly in my water. I had a waitress that went by the name of Emily that was really pushy and kind of rude when waiting 25 minutes for our food. Once we got our food she seemed pretty pushy when to try to get us out. I will never return to this place

The best sushi place hands down. Not only is the food affordable, but its delicious! We come here at least twice a week. They have happy hour all day everyday and we especially enjoy the dollar sakes. During lunch, the kids get a free meal!! The workers have become like family to us. We will definitely keep coming back!

Tasty food, and good service.The only thing I didnt like is that when your order the All you can eat you have the waitress watching during all the time, so you dont share with anyone your food ... and they give you the instructions and rules from the moment you ask.I understand that you shouldnt share your food, but its very uncomfortable to have a guard behind you all the time while you eating.

Did AYCE dinner. They didnt forget a single dish and they brought everything out really quickly. Tuna, yellowtail, and eel are my favorites here. Good prices, good environment, and great staff. The only thing I could say that needs fixing at this restaurant is that there seems to be too much mayo used in the artificial crab rolls. Thats just a personal opinion. Overall the people, place, and most importantly the food is great! I will always come back for my sushi binges.

Service is good! Food is wonderful! This place offers a happy hour menu as well as an all you can eat menu. The magic here lies in chef Kays Ninniku Albacore plate. Other specials Twins and I dont know. They offer a fusion style mix of Korean an Japanese specialties as well as traditional style sushi. They offer a happy hour and all u can eat menu daily however, they are at their best making the creative fusion Korean/Japanese that put them on the map. Enjoy!

Service has been getting worse and worse. Been coming here for the AYCE and we were sitting at the bar with only 2 other tables occupied in the restaurant and it took the two sushi chefs 45 minutes to make 3 rolls and 5 sushi orders. The chefs were looking at us like we were inconveniencing them. Sad because this place use to be good. If you looking for better sushi head to sprouts across the street....this coming from someone that lives 2 blocks away.

The service is not so great. I wasnt sure if our waitress understood us 100% and she was ready to run from the table before we could give her details of our order. We had a picky child, a special needs person with a seafood allergy, and another person who doesnt like seaweed. We are very clear and specific on what we would like. It took a while for anybody to acknowledge us or even say be with you shortly. I dont think i will eat here anymore. The red tuna never seems to be fresh...so disappointed. The tempura is great. Myself as well as others dont care for chocolate syrup on the mochi and they never warn us and we forget they put it on.

All u can eat sushi good line up on menu rolls are delicious but the sushi chef is very slow takes his time and if they see u can get down with eating sushi they start adding alot more rice to the roll & refilling ur beverage quick old trick to expand the rice in ur belly. Good atmosphere. Great food but I find they are tight with there fish.... overall good food. Its quality not quantity.

I used to really love this place so this makes me upset BUT here goes. I come here every week and get all you can eat and I tip my waitress everytime, during the day there is usually just one waitress. Rarely are there two. But today there were two. So I thought, Ill get twice as much attention. There were two people at the bar and two tables being used on the floor where I was. 1)They gave me the menu once and never came back with it 2) they walked by every table and asked if everything was okay one table at a time and skipped mines everytime they did so. 3) I never got my second round of all you can eat, I usually order 3 times. The one time one of them made eye contact with me she came over and asked was I done. And in my head Im thinking if Im paying 24$ for just one round Im definitely not tipping. This just bugged me so much because I come every freaking week and I tip and Im always nice to them and Im patient. The waitress was so happy when I asked for the check. I was clearly mad and she smiled at me anyways. I come alone every week and with a group of atleast 12 friends every month and now Im never coming back. I guess its time to find a new place.

The nerve of these people and their rules for the all-you-can-eat menu. Also, watch out for any rolls that claim to have lobster in them. Its actually crawfish. Everything else was meh. The sashimi and presentation was excellent. However, the AYCE menu is very confusing. For good sashimi, go here. For AYCE, I dont recommend this place. Youre better off going to Arigato at La Habra to enjoy more sashimi at a reasonable dinner price.

Andrew! Thats all you need to know. Hes a great sushi chef and awesome guy in general. This is my go to spot for sushi and for pretty much all my friends. Once you have a hawaiian roll theres no going back. Also their eel is one of the best that Ive had by far. They even carry my favorite sake, kurosawa junmai kimoto, so thats also good. Im a regular here so andrew knows me and my girlfriend very well. Even a lot of my other friends who are also regulars here. Some of my favorite rolls that i have to get here are hawaiian roll, alaskan roll, double tiger, dragon, and the super crazy roll!
