The service was great. We went around 5 and was immediately seated. There server was phenomenal! He refilled drinks without us having to flag him down.The plating was beautiful. We shared the Indonesian Meeting Fun and asked for medium spice. The shrimp were large in it. The egg rolls were delicious and crispy.

Absolutely love dining here when I’m in Pasadena. Lunch specials are always a great value and a la cart portions are generous. It’s not just your average run of the mill Chinese restaurant. The outside might look old but it’s very clean and pleasant inside, with plentiful parking in the back. They have a few dishes I don’t even find in other neighborhood Chinese restaurants, like salted fish or crab (real crab) fried rice. My favorite dish here has to be the aromatic fish.

When I was 14 my grandma started taking me here every week. The staff and owner knew us, would even remember my birthday. I moved away but would come back from time to time. I’m 24 now, and even though I hadn’t seen him in years, the owner still recognized me, and the staff is still so incredibly wonderful! Ten years of some of the best food and service, you will not regret trying this place, and hopefully it will become a favorite for you just like it did from me, even if I’m miles away in Denver :)

Go China is a cozy little restaurant for chinese food. The outside may look dated but the inside is clean. Food is always hot and tasty. Price is okay can be spendy but depends on what you get. The spumomi ice cream cake is delicious. I would have never thought they would have this dessert at a chinese restaurant. Go China is a good place to grab a bite if you dont want to go to a loud restaurant.

Quite possibly the WORST and most overpriced Chinese food in Pasadena.What I ordered: Salt & Pepper CalamariWhat I got: a cluster of fried mess. The Calamari were overcooked and rubbery. There was hardly any salt and pepper flavor on them. Although I could see onions and peppers in the box I could not taste them on the Calamari at all. Really disappointed.The green beans were mediocre, however I appreciate them not being too oily.For the money, this experience was not it at all. Pasadena has lots of Chinese restaurants, skip this one.

This is not the conventional Chinese restaurant that you would find in the China town. The restaurant seems to cater both Chinese and non-Chinese customers. Tried Twice coked BBQ pork, Garlic string bean, and Fried rice with salted fish. All dishes were very tasty, although they were not cooked in the authentic Szechuan style. The environment was nice with elegant ambient Jazz music. Service was fast and efficient.

Wow! My wife and I love this place. Great atmosphere and service. Food is always prepared well and it’s hot, which is great.Very accommodating to food restrictions and sensitivities. Nice lunch specials. I could write more but you just have to try for yourself.

Ive had a variety of Chinese food on a national level, the flavors were good, the meat in the rice was over portioned, like if it was lazy cut.. Too big for your mouth.The shrimp was a bit over cooked and was a dark brown verses golden..Not a bad spot by any means, I asked for chili sauce and was not given enough..

The service was great, the lunch portion is great. I had orange chicken but the texture of the chicken seemed a little off personally to me. Id come back to give it one more try.

This restaurant is great. The food was amazing. The service was excellent. The restaurant itself was very elegant. While dinning your listening to some very smooth jazz this restaurant is amazing. This place deserves 10 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
