Though the choice of meat and veggies are limited it’s a good experience.. sauces could be better, friendly staff. If it’s your first time they explain how it works. Two bowls is a good deal.

This place is unsanitary and looks like it’s about to close. Nothing works, the soda machine has been broken for a while. We use to be regulars, after today I won’t step foot. Stay away, it’s a health hazard and the cook on the Bar B Que when asked to cook it longer three a bunch of water over and over. The guy at the counter is disrespectful and rude. He made me and my wife put more oil and sauces cause we asked to just cook it a little longer.Wait till you see photos I’m attaching, I also told the health department about the filth inside the place. They lost a good regular customer: I hope they get shutdown. U will get sick if you eat here and be disrespected.

I was disappointed that it isnt a true buffet. You pay for a bowl by size. Drinks, ice cream, and seconds all extra. They had thin chicken, pork, beef, turkey dogs and imitation crab. Real shrimp or some cod would be nice. Offered only one kind of noodle. The ice cream (ice milk I think) is so soft it is almost liquid and wouldnt stay past the lip of the cone. The staff were friendly and the restrooms clean. The place is a bit dated but clean.

This was a wobderful culinary experience. Not just because of the flavors but also because of the textures and the taste of the steamed/pan-fried noodles. Its a ALL YOU CAN EAT menu and after 7pm its half price. Great option!!

Hello all, SpenDoe here! Once again, I am bringing you a review of another restaurant. This place happens to be one of my favorites. Im a big fan of Mongolian grill. Gobi Mongolian Grill is an awesome place. I love it. Sadly, you cannot eat inside, due to Covid restrictions. This is take-out only for now. Once I found out they were open for take-out only, I decided to take that 1.5 hour drive for a bite to eat. protocol is safe, and environment is always clean. Food items remain fresh, and staff is always willing to accommodate. I stopped by today to grab a bite to eat, after my doctors appointment. I love the garlic and spicy chili oil. If you are unfamiliar with how to create your Mongolian meals flavor, they have a large visible sign in front of the sauces. The sign will tell you how much of each flavor to add. You can also freestyle, and create your own flavors. They have chicken, beef, lamb, pork, imitation crab, turkey sausage sliced, cocktail shrimp, and tofu. They also have a wide assortment of vegetables to choose from. Try Gobi, you wont be disappointed. I have also been to Gobis San Jose, CA location on Brokaw Rd. I have nothing but great things to say about that location as well.

I had some hope for this place. I was also hoping it was all you can eat, and it no longer is. The price I would say, isnt actually that bad until you realize what the bowls actually look like. They are regular sized maybe 6/8 inch bowl, about 2-3 mm thick (my eye measurements may be off). They are some thicc bowls. You can comfortbaly fit a serving of 1 item on it, then everything after that is a game of Tetris/Jenga. I looked at the doordash prices and listing and you actually a better deal out of that than you do going into the resto. Save your time and just pickup if you have the gas and patience. Lord knows the extra fees on doordash are out of this world.

The pork is really good. I can get a lot of veggies with my meat and I control the sauce (and sodium) so it can be healthy to eat here. I subtracted one star because they only have white rice. Its all you can eat and your supposed to grab two bowls when you go through the line. I usually put all my meat in one bowl and all my veggies in another. Then you add your sauces and they cook it up for you. They have the sauce recipes on the wall but Ive found the cutting them in half is good for me.Update. I dont think Ive been here since COVID. Went back today. Food was still very good. They now charge an extra $3 for a second bowl and they charge for ice cream. Not a big deal. I never need a second bowl and should not be eating ice cream anyway.

The absolute worst Mongolian food I’ve ever experienced. The spring roll appetizer was nicely deep fried, but frozen inside. I ordered the shrimp and chicken bowl which was mostly vegetables, with paper thin chicken and shrimp the size of an eraser. In addition, I was their first customer of the day and they were 15-minutes late preparing my food. Total waste of money.

Great pricing for a big Mongolian meal. The aesthetics arent very, well anything. It feels like we just walked in to a cafeteria to grab some cheap grub; which in our case was the goal, so we really liked it, you can sit outside for a little nicer ambiance. It was very quick, there were lots of fresh vegetables, and a good selection of meats. There is a good selection of spices you can add afterwards, but the place could use some more sauces to add to the bowls.

Disappointing! They raised the price, you can only take one trip and they charge for ice cream which used to be a nice treat. The mood has changed as well. I always leave a nice tip on the tip jar and at the end of my meal there is another option to tip even more. Its. Its not worth the price anymore sadly. Used to be my favorite place.

Delicious and inexpensive! We hadnt had Mongolian BBQ in a long time and were delighted to find this place. If youve never been before, you get a bowl or two (depending on what size of order you want) then fill it with whatever meat/noodles/veggies/toppings you want, then give it to the chef who prepares it in front of you! It was super fast too so we were able to do a quick pick up that mostly was us waffling over what to put into our dishes for a couple minutes heheh.The sauces and flavoring are entirely up to you! Theres a sauce station and they recommend base recipe combinations from the sauce options so you can mix just what you like, and make it stronger or lighter according to your own taste. Theres no such thing as too bland or too strong since you can scale it up or down to what you like. :)The staff were super helpful and the mix I created was delicious (even though I threw random things I to it to try it out). They also have lamb and shrimp as options at night so Id love to come back for dinner too!

Overall, the food was not bad. Its a small Mongolian grill that has great service! However, the selection is limited and more bland than a lot of other Mongolian grills that I have been too.I would recommend this restaurant, just dont go there with an idea that it might compare to a larger Mongolian grill.

The place has changed. Firstly the cook is now very rude and secondly they have started charging $6 for second round ($3 per bowl). Never have I seen a Mongolian bbq place doing that. Also that’s 50% additional cost for a second trip. Finally they have also started charging for ice cream which was on the house earlier. Very disappointing!!!

I like the food and the prices are average. I do have a beef (pun intended) for their doggy bag policy. If I pay $15 for dinner I cant finish it I would like to bring home my leftovers. I get it that they dont want people going back for seconds only to bring it home, but Im not a big eater and I dont want to waste food. Making a smaller plate isnt fair either as the guy next to me might get twice the food for the same price...

This place gave me food poisoning. The guy cooking the chicken was upset because I asked him to cook a lil more chicken for my plate. I think this place has a lot of potential. The employees were super friendly and the food was great. There were 2 cooks the night I went. One was experienced and quick, the other was painfully slow. My buddy and I got our food, while the man who was there before us was still waiting. The meat was also sliced paper thin, much different than the other Mongolian places I’ve been too. This is my second time to visit. Its picked by my kids, due to time restrictions. Walked in, not that many people, got bowl to get meat, sliced lamb is almost gone. General.speaking, the bars are clean and organized but vegetable choice are not enough. The seats are OK but looks cheap. They offer call can eat but you have to pay for fountain drink and 1.50 for.an.ice cream... Dinner is $13.98 per person. I dont feel its worth the money.The casher was walking to the corner talking to his friends. I guess he is the owner. Didnt bother to check the meat slot or clean the counter or check.on his customers.I will never go back by myself, unless you pay.me to.eat there.

I came during the weekend lunch hours. When you come here it is all-you-can eat and each trip they allow you 2 bowls to fill of various meats and vegetables. They have signature sauces, my favorite being the Gobi Special, which is a special curry sauce. It is so much food and incredibly delicious. Good setting, the restaurant is nice. All you can eat for $11 lunch, $13 dinner. Their meat is pre-frozen and cooked in front of you, but still tastes pretty bland. However, they do have a number of sauces and veggies to combine that can give flavor. They have free refills, an soft serve machine, and 2 sports TVs. There is a restroom, and its clean.

Yes! I love this place! The idea is perfect for me. I get to pick my ingredients, I can have all meat or all veggies. I can have my noodles spicy or sweet. To top it all of you can get up and have seconds. They have rice available and fried won tons. There is also a free ice cream machine. I work close to the restaurant which is terrible because I am here probably WAY more often than I should be.

Just had lunch here and was not impressed. I did like the fact that you could at least pick the contents of your meal (meat, sauce and veggies), but my likes stopped at that. I opted for the spicy kung pao sauce. Im a pretty advanced eater of spicy food and have both high spice tolerance, but also high expectations for flavour and experience. I would say that spice level is much higher than most restaurants in the area (for any spicy cuisine) and this is coming from someone that considers most places medium spice as mild. So keep that in mind. Unfortunately, the food is what I would call lazy spice (i.e take a sauce or food and just toss spicy chili flakes in it). It was all burn and little flavour. In short, I would classify this as the caliber of overly spiced and priced food from a mall food court.

Mongolian style restaurants are great because any other Asian restaurant will totally skimp on veggies these days. Here you get all the veggies you want. As they say in their website, this style of cooking was invented in Taiwan but that doesnt mean it isnt tasty. You pick from piles of different shaved meats and vegis, create your sauce and add noodles or rice and then watch them grill it up and then come back as many times as you wish to do it again. Im a little disappointed that they didnt have BBQ sauce as an available sauce, but their house sauce was still delicious and I could taste each ingredient I selected, which was a plus. At some Mongolian grills you get remnants of the prior meal that was cooked before, but this was not the case here. A mark of a skilled chef. Will definitely be back next time Im in Dublin.

Worst place with the worst service ever. Communication is horrible. They said it was 2 bowls and only 1 time per person. They dont tell you that they will cook it all together. When we asked them, he just said they will cook everything at once. Love that they have tofu on the buffet. I grab two bowls and fill them to overflowing with veggies and noodles. Then I laddle the sauces over both bowls, I like it spicy. You should tip the cooks who use enormous chopsticks to move your food around on a large round grill, delicious. They have rice and wonton chips if you want. Come early for lunch as there is usually a line after noon.

Mongolian barbecue is highly dependent upon the various sauces that are provided for the diner to use in the cooking of the many veggies and proteins that are set out. There were plenty of sauces available but I wish that never not so thin and watered down. The veggies were all nicely cut into uniformly small bite sized pieces and the proteins were very thinly sliced so that they would cook quickly on the grill. Because the sauces are rather thin, I brought some Stir fry sauce with me from home. The end result was an excellent bowl of beef, chicken and pork with various mix detrelles and a combination of about 5 different sauces.

Came here for dinner. First time for me. Typical (small) Mongolian grill set up. Frozen/fresh meat/seafood (imitation crab-surimi) section, veggie section and sauces section. Then you add ingredients to your liking. You use 2-bowls, one for meat/seafood, one for veggies. They have about 6-8 eight sauces to top it off with and then take them to the grill cooks. Who (supposedly), take the bowls in the order you give it to them, to grill your food.Food was good (why I even gave it 3-stars), service was NOT. When I returned to do a 2nd trip (it is all you can eat), my bowl sat on the counter for over 8-minutes (it wasnt busy at all, either). Not only did they (grill cooks) take/cook the persons food behind me (before me) but these grill cooks let my bowl sit there (uncooked). As a matter of fact, they even cleaned around my bowl (sitting there on the counter) before they (finally) put my bowl contents on the grill. I have NO idea why they made me wait? So, I went up to the cashier, paid for my meal and left. Probably, never to return again. There are other choices folks have for this kind of food. I will chose those instead of coming back here.

Great mix and match place, You get to make your own plate even get to add spices, pickles and Oils as per your test.All of the bowl stuff is then shallow fried on huge pan in Mongolian way.It is a fixed price. Mongolian BBQ places are my favorite. This one is a bit lower quality than the ones Im used to. Still good food and large portions, but choices are limited compared to others and they dont clean the hot plate enough so theres lots of cross contamination of other peoples flavors. I had the misfortune of following behind someone who loved spicy and my meal soaked up a lot of the leftover spice. Ouch!

Compared to other mangolian grills, this place is barely ok. The turnover rate of cooking is slow. They drag the food all over the hot plate, which wastes food, causes delays, and potentially mixes with burnt sauces of others food cooked prior to yours. And they cant cook for more than 2 guests at the same time. Selections are relatively meager - like, no eggs, only one type of noodles etc. Also, when I had my lunch, they were out of noodles for at least 15 minutes. Imagine an Oriental cuisine restaurant, that too an all you can eat - running out of noodles in the middle of lunch time.

The only decent Mongolian bbq place in Trivalley. Great price and you could make the food per your taste. Unlimited ice cream is a stealer for most people. The person at the grill is responsive to requests like making the meat well done(cooked) by tossing it on the grill for longer. Also you get tofu option for vegetarians. This is your typical Mongolian BBQ all you can eat casual restaurant. The concept here is that you will get two bowls, fill them up with your ingredients such as raw vegetables meat and noodles and sauce and then you will give them to a cook who will cook your food right in front of you on a large flat top grill. Once it is done cooking they will put your items that you chose back into a bowl and you will happily eat what day cooked for you. They also have soup and appetizers like egg roll and fried wonton skin available as well along with rice. Drinks are extra and so is tea.

Its close to my work so i go once in a while.food is decent but i have had better Mongolian BBQ.the cooks cook everything together. the place i usually go cooks the meat fist then the veggies so the veggies arent too over cooked and the meat is cooked well. this to me is a much better way to cook Mongolian.also the cash register is in an awkward place. right where you go to start making your food. it should be moved to the other side of the entrance door, so to pay when leaving. instead you go to pay with people coming in and it creates a traffic jam with confusion.sauces are so-so. but follow the recipes and it does come out decent.if you want a really good Mongolian BBQ place make a trip to Santa Clara. and hit up El Camino Mongolian. they are the best around.but this place is ok for lunch runs.
