We had a great lunch here: 2 Tuna Sliders, Guacamole burger with onion strings each came with a delicious salad! Then for dessert we split a very tasty ice cream brownie sundae. Really good food. Cool movie vibe, nice booths & a bar area.Excellent service.

This was a very nice place to eat, one of the best Arnold Palmers that I’ve had in the west. The food was excellent, I recommend that you be adventurous on this menu and try something different than what you normally would, your taste buds will thank you.

Really loved this place. Ambience is very good. Service is very prompt. We had veg burgers. Excellent patty n excellent taste. Also french fries good in taste. Definately love to visit again n again. Many of tasty options here. Weve frequented this place for at least 15 years. Crab cake sandwich & traditional (crunchy) fries were tonights meal. Excellent preparation, just the right amount of Godfathers sauce. Their French Fries are top notch, love the crispiness that most other establishments cant seem to make happen. Shocktop on draught.

Ive been going here for years, and this is one of my go-to places for a good burger and fries.The menu has definitely expanded a bit. Which gives you a lot more varieties and options to choose from.When you enter, it seems dark but very cozy. Its not a scary vibe but a chill vibe. People who work there were on top of it and made sure our order was complete prior to leaving and they made sure you had everything you need.I highly recommend the calamari. It was crunchy and light. Its not overcooked and rubbery.We also ordered:1. Garlicky truffle fries : So crispy and tasty.2. Ankas beef sliders - so juicy and flavorful for a slider.3. Beer battered salmon sliders - This is our first time trying a beer battered salmon. It was mind-blowing. So light and crispy. It wasnt fishy either.4. Directors cut mushroom burger - This has always been my go-to. Theres something about it that blends so good together with a side of ranch.5. Philly cheese steak - my dad loved this and couldnt get enough.

We had to go to the nearby lacrosse store and after exiting the car the wonderful smell of burgers was in the air. Reviews of this place are on point! Theyve made the top in Best of the Bay and travel shows. They are right on. Burgers were awesome. My teenager took a bite and said, This is THE best burger Ive ever had! (And that boy eats). My wife had the Directors Cut with mushrooms. I had the classic Godfather. Both pictured. Staff were attentive and friendly. They were busy but the wait was normal. Awesome. Worth the visit!

Solid gourmet burger joint with reasonable prices. The patty is thick, juicy and well seasoned. Everything around the meat complemented and balanced out the burger. The movie interior theme is interesting but to be honest it didnt add to much.Will definitely visit again.

I found this place on a whim looking for a quick bite for my son and I. First of all, we sat down for 20 minutes before a waiter even came to take our drink order and I also ordered our food as well.m at that time. It took 45 minutes total to get one burger, 2 sliders and fries. It was entirely to long especially for a burger joint. I ordered the Sopranos Ultimate Burger medium rare which was cooked medium rare and the topping were delicious. Sautéed mushrooms, onions, bacon and Godfather Sauce. The only thing about it that sucked was the bun was soggy which throws off everything in my opinion but still a good burger nonetheless. The sliders I got for my son were also good. Small little burgers with not much on them but tasty.I would go here again but the service needs to be better.

The service was okay. We cane in like 11:35am and they opened at 11am. The host/server was long faced, almost felt like we were bothering him when we walked in. He told us hes still cleaning some booth and cramped us to the closest booth next to the door.Here its about the food. The hamburgers we had were fantastic and perfectly cooked medium. I had the beer battered onion rings but didnt taste or smell the beer part so much. Better half had the classic Godfather burger and she said it was delicious with the garlic fries.Will definitely come here again.

This place looks very well kept and the menu looks very inviting.But, today I had a very bad experience with one of the workers without even going inside yet. I didnt have the chance to get his name but it was an older gentlemen, I parked on harbor blvd in front of one of their doors, they werent open for business yet, and one of the workers came out and told me I couldnt park here because it was a loading zone. He also said it was a handicap space that I had to move my car up the street or move it down onto the crossing space. I suggested that I could move back a bit but there wasnt enough space for two vehicles to legally park. Once I moved back he said the car behind me wouldnt be able to get out and said it was his car and that there wasnt enough space.By the end, of what could have been a decent conversation, this man was yelling and cussing at me at the top of his lungs. He even threatened to call the police. I was nothing but polite, until I couldnt be anymore. I was alone and had a toddler witnessing all of this.He lost my business, which could have been a party of 6 adults plus the kids. I hope this gets to a manager or someone who can take a disciplinary action and to other women be on the look out for this elderly gray haired man who thinks he can mansplain parking and be a bully to lone women.

Out of all the burger restaurants I have been to, none compare to Godfathers Pepperoni Burger. The proportions of the patty, pepperoni, and onion strings make the perfect combination for this unique burger. Ordering a side of their truffle garlic fries are also a must! I have yet to find a place that has a more delicious combo! They are currently have open outdoor seating that includes about 6 tables. Highly recommend coming here!

I knew this place was going to be good, but it was even better than I thought. There were only two negatives that I could come up with but they were not enough to modify the star rating. They are: Parking and Cook Temperature.The restaurant does not have a parking lot of its own, so youll need to park on the street. If thats a problem for you, just know that the burger reward is worth the trouble -- its that good!The other negative is the cooking temperature, regardless of what you tell them, the burger is cooked well. Normally I would complain, but the toppings more than makeup for any potential dryness the meat might contribute.I would highly recommend this place and it will be added to my must-visit list. Try it out and see for yourself. Amazing job guys, This place is awesome! I will be back for sure. ❤️🍔

We came in to the area from out of town and arrived very hungry around 2:30 in the afternoon. We were shocked to find that so many restaurants in the area were closed on a Sunday afternoon. Thankfully, we found that Godfathers Burger Lounge was open. There were 3 of us that were gluten free and they had great options for us (the gluten free buns were delicious). We were also so happy to see free range chicken and vegetarian items on the menu. The specialty sauces were so good! Our waiter was very friendly. The atmosphere inside was very cool. After driving around for quite awhile to find a restaurant that was actually open, we were so grateful to find this gem. Thanks for saving our hungry crew!

Their food is okay, but I had high expectation based on the online reviews. We had the beef sliders, fried buffalo sliders with beer battered onion rings and house fries ( though we upgraded it to a garlic truffle fries and were charged for it, we never got one!). The place was busy and servers were nice but, theres definitely a room for improvement in terms of quicker service.

Sleepy Belmont has a really great burger to eat. I don’t make to to CA very often, so I am very choosy about where I go for dinner.I got the Godfather Burger and Wedge Salad. Honestly, one of the top burgers I ever had. It’s well balanced, excellent meat quality, really good crust (similar to a smash burger). It’s a big patty, that’s for sure and cooked precisely to order. My ONLY criticism is the bun is a little too small for the massive patty - but please understand this is a great burger.Wedge salad had tons of blue cheese. Lots of bacon, diced onion and tomato. Really solid.Staff was attentive and service was good.My suggestions to the restaurant:- The music is either a little too loud or maybe not that pleasant.- The restaurant is a little worn out and dated. That’s ok because the food is great. Might be a hotter spot if there was a bit of a facelift.- It took a really long time to get my burger. Well worth the wait, but it seems like it should have taken half the time.Overall - I highly recommend this place. Well done, sirs!

A small but busy upscale burger place. It was packed when we went on Sunday evening and we got the last 3 spots at the bar. The drinks came promptly but the food was a tad slow so they comped us a free cheese fries completely unprompted. The burgers are all 1/2 lb so I decided on the sliders which were excellent (not always the case when I order well-done). The offspring got the appetizer chicken fingers which would have fed 2. This place has been a favorite for years... And apparently, everyone elses! The staff is terrific but they struggle to keep up at the busiest times. Go easy on them, and check your to go order for sauces, etc. Id love to give a review of the menu, but I cant bring myself to order anything but the salmon sliders every *single* time! Loooove them and that sauce!!Update 9/23: We still love this place *but* I wanted to try something new and opted for the crab cake and calamari this time... Sadly both appear to have been bought frozen, and werent delicious. Also, Its wonderful that they put mint in their lemonade, but the lemonade itself tastes awful/powdered/chemical. Times are challenging and every little bit is appreciated.===============Note the restaurant is open until 10pm, but their online ordering (GrubHub) stops at 8pm.Food: As youll see from their site, they have a variety of options. But as we missed National Burger Day, it was fitting to find a good burger joint. And did we find one! Untouchable Burger and fries were on our menu.Meat - ordered Medium, cooked medium. Patty was tender, and VERY juicy. Good taste on the meat - believe they use grass fed beef. The patty is 1/2 lb, and just the right amount, you dont feel overstuffed.Overall - The burger is big, but not heavy. The Untouchable is listed to have the most flavor - jalapenos, garlic, aioli, etc. Unfortunately, put together, the burger didnt have much flavor. (Though, the juices that ooze out of the burger, mixed with the fries, YUM). The juices soaked into the bun, and became soggy.With takeout, the burger was served open - which is usually ideal. But this was kind of thrown together, everything was just piled on, so when you put it together it was hard to hold and started falling apart. Large chunk of lettuce, pile of jalapenos had to be removed just to hold the burger in place.Service: Ordering over the phone was easy - and we got what we ordered. The staff was friendly and fast.Thankfully with whats going on, we were able to make the trip across the bridge to try this place. May venture out again to try other options on the menu.

Coming from Texas, we know a good burger. Just passing through the area and found Godfathers Burger and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! My family had several items on the menu and not one disappointed mouth or stomach when we left. We have been patronizing this restaurant, since 2012 and my son was 5 years old. The two co-owners are extremely friendly and treat you very well and that includes their staff. Over the years the staff has changed, decor has changed, but service and food is A-1.

I went to this place on the recommendation of a friend. He called it the best burger in the bay area. He was right. I had the Untouchables Burger medium rare with garlicky truffle fries. The burger was perfect. It was very juicy, great flavor, amazing toppings, and great presentation. The chicken strips had just enough crunch and broke apart without needing a knife. This place deserves 4.5 stars, but I give it 5 for nice interior touches. The reason I would give it 4 stars is for the burger itself. I have ordered Untouchables Burger and it came with so much jalapeño, a lot of jalapeño. Also, raw onion with everything else either pickled or sautéed, killed the flawor. While meat was prepared as medium rare (as I wanted), it wasnt juicy. To the owner: please review the meat youre making ground beef from and when you spice it.Verdict: food - 4 stars, service - 5, ambiance - 5. Overall - 5. Would come back if in the area.

This is a small, crowded, yummy burger place. You might have to wait but the food is great. They do impossible patties too for those of you looking to reduce your meat intake. Excellent variety, but it’s a pricey burger, so be warned. Also, their garlicky truffle fries are VERY garlicky so be aware and buy enough for you and your better half!

This is my favorite place to go for some delicious burgers. Their food is always excellent and you get a good portion. Their service is excellent as well and never had to complain about anything. They seem to have changed something.. probably the sauce or the amount of sauce that put on the burger.I saw lot of customers either leave half of the burgers or sliders to the trash.. in my last two recent visits. Our favorite burger place on the peninsula. I love the meatball sliders. The chicken strips are also really good and you cant go wrong with any of the burgers. Well often split the house salad with chicken strips and the Directors Cut burger. Its a fairly small place and they do a reasonable takeout/delivery business so be prepared to wait. Lets begin this with who I am. I am a very economical oriented when it comes to eating out. I always try to cook at home, even if its instant noodle, than going to a restaurant. In fact, even if I do eat out, I go to fast food joint and take advantage of the weekly coupon.One day, me and my buddy did a quick road trip and were hungry. We wanted to eat out, and I ended up looking for a nice burger restaurant since it was pretty close, and I did kind of grow tired of mediocre-but-cheap fast food menu.The place itself was amazing. Its calm with no obnoxious music. The other guests do talk among themselves, but everyone was keeping it low. The staff were friendly and during our 30 mins meal time, we were checked twice.The food was essentially the best burger Ive ever had. They did not compromise any aspect of it, which probably explains the steep (from my perspective) price. The burger was big and tall. It was so tall that I couldnt have a bite top down. If there is anything to critic, it would be how mild the burger was despite it supposed to have some heat (Soppreno Burger).The pricing is as follows: $16 for the burger and around $5 for root beer float totalling around $21 before tax and tips for my meal. I believe I ended up spending $26 that day. This was, by far, the most expensive lunch meal Ive ever had that I have to pay myself.Would I regularly come back? No, its too much for my wallet. If I must spend $25 on a meal, will this be the place? Absolutely. I can say confidently that it was well worth my money.

Ordered the Godfathers cheeseburger and garlicky truffle fries. I was the only person sitting at the bar eating and a server decided that the 1 square foot of space between my plate and his side of the bar, would be the best place to prepare drinks for the other customers. He honestly had his little rubber mat shoved under the edge of my plate.So that was a bit weird, but I will definitely go back next time I make the trip up there.

I forget what it is called but twice now I have had this burger with mushrooms and onion rings on it that is juicy and delicious and amazing and messy... but mostly delicious 😀. Parking is a bit limited on the street around the place since it is on a corner of a main street but Ive never had to walk more than a minute or so. I, want to be clear first thing first the food was Good I had my partner order a California Burger from Godfathers Burger.. Repeat it to him have them cut the hamburger in half and have them cook the hamburger midum rare. I know he followed my instructions, especially the cut and half request (cut the hamburger in half.) I received the Burger not cut in two and the meat seemed well done and no napkins .We all make mistakes .We need to focus on what the customer request no matter what they order and how they paid.We in the restaurant business and supply and delivery cant make such small mistakes that could affect the out come. Of how we listen to how a client makes request.And their are customers who ask for to much.Keep in mind that the restaurant needs your support. I only ask that you repeat your self when you get your food or communicate with your delivery person your request.

I went there with my family and we all had different burgers and shared their garlic fries everything was delicious. the service was wonderful and had no problem bringing this extra chipotle sauce or water when needed. We will definitely be regulars.

Chicken tenders. Will be back for the chicken tenders. Also the friendly service. And mint lemonade. The onion rings were good too.I dont usually like white meat because its usually dry, but they do it perfectly - super tender and perfectly fried.In contrast, the calamari breading was light and crispy the way I like it but the calamari inside was a tiny bit under cooked and lacked a smidge of salt.We also got sliders but found the hamburger average and the meatball sliders a little over salted.

Godfathers Burger Lounge serves some of the best burgers I have eaten.I am especially partial to the Guacamole burger but the others I have tried are also very very tasty. If I am in the area I usually try to make time for a visit.The restaurant has a nice setting and the staff is friendly, helpful and usually quick. While there is sometimes a wait the friendly staff usually finds one way or another to squeeze you in.

It wasMy first time there and the burgers are fantastic! I had the soprano burger it was loaded with sauteed mushrooms and onions and bacon. All burgers come with your choice of cheese and French fries. For $1.95 extra you can substitute onion rings for the French fries. My wife substituted and got 3 dipping sauces all equally delicious. They also have a bar.

Visited this place on a whim after leaving the Woodside Art festival and was very impressed! The selection of food is all reasonably priced and the dining atmosphere was pretty sophisticated. I got the crabcake burger and loved it! Definitely recommend stopping for a bite here if you ever come across it!

Our favorite burger place on the peninsula. Hands down the most delicious and large portions. Smallish dinning area but we have never needed to wait long. Street parking has never been hard to find either.

I had a plain cheeseburger and it was the best burger I have had on the peninsula. The only issue I have with it is that it is too big. It was so good I could not stop myself from eating the whole thing, but with a half pound of beef, I suggest you fast before going there. ;-)

Horrible service. 1. We had 7pm reservations 2. It took forever to get checked in 3. Once checked in, 15 mins later we checked again and the host told the server we had asked 10 times already. We waited 30 minutes to get seated when we had RESERVATIONS. 4. It took 55 minutes to get our food after we ordered and another 30 minutes to order dessert. 5. There was a hair in my dessert!The food wasnt worth the hype nor the wait. By the way, theres probably no motivation on service since gratuity was already included. We were a party of 7. Best hot chicken breast sandwich anywhere! This is a healthier alternative to a burger. I usually get no cheese and no aoli. Even with no shoestring onion rings, the chicken flavor alone is amazing. Juicy flavorful chicken on soft and sweet bun. Sub the fries for salad and its a low-cal delight. Rest of family get the burgers and other staples which exceed expectations as well! The food is mediocore. My burger didnt really have much flavor to it. My partners burger was burnt. Garlic fries had whole chunks of garlic in it which overwhelmed the taste of the fries. Dessert was very good at least. Will not be returning

Amazing Burger Lounge. All their Burgers can be substituted with your preference of meat or veggie patty. The ambience is classic movies based and theres a big TV displaying pictures of famous actors and actresses.Got the untouchables burger along with garlic truffle fries. Enjoyed my burger a lot and so did everyone else in my group. Will add this place to my regular burger joints. Highly recommend.

Godfathers has been incredible since it opened. Its a movie-themed burger joint with an awesome menu. It can get a little crowded on the weekend but totally worth the wait. I highly recommend the onion rings and they serve local beer on tap.
