This is the best Pho. Ive been to probably 3 dozen different Pho places in multiple states and even east San Jose. Gogo Pho is still in the #1 spot. I really dont understand the lower rating reviews .. the food is so good and fresh.
Great Vietnamese food. We tried the rice platter with pork and the vermicelli salad, and both were excellent and big enough. The crispy rolls were great too!

This is a nice cozy place. You could walk in here if youve come to one of the auto service centers on Steven Creeks and needed to have a quick lunch while waiting for your car to get serviced - which is what I did. The food here is nice, wholesome and healthy. I had the veggie option in their pho menu and really liked it. The meal was fresh and filling.
They use plastic utensils, paper plates along with sauce packets. They seem clean but the fact that they dont even offer water takes away the restaurant experience :/ (you gotta buy a bottle of water) Also, the combo pho doesn’t come with tendons which is a big disappointment. Mango spring roll seemed fresh but no flavors. The same thing goes with the combo pho. It seemed fresh but no flavor in it. I was excited to try out based on the good reviews but disappointed :/ nothing special about this restaurant. Wont be coming back.

Havent been for a long time. Selection of Pho is very limited and whats there only has 1 or 2 different meats. Prices are fairly high (I know rent is high) with minimum $9.50. We went for the vermicelli instead. Good size portions with plenty of meat and veggies. Similar prices as pho 🍜
Pleasant little roadside spot. Parking could be difficult in the little shopping center if its busy.Introduced my Gujarati buddy to pho, he had the chicken pho and said this stuff is bomb! But they dont know how to cut chicken. Hed prefer slightly smaller chunks of meat.I had the filet mignon pho, and and it was very good.Its not stand out, our wait while the dining room was empty (lots of delivery orders coming and going) was several minutes, and the add-ons/ins were average at best.The basil had bruises, the Sriracha was off brand and too mild, no chili crisp. The bean sprouts were crisp, fresh and plentiful and the jalapenos fresh as can be though. So bit of a mixed bag.This isnt a destination spot, you arent going to seek it out.But if you are nearby and want a warming, filling bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup for lunch or dinner, stop by and take it to go.
I order vermicelli salad pork and spicy beef noodle. For me, the vermicelli salad is great but the spicy beef noodle is so so, not good not bad.
I’ve literally raised my kids on this stuff since they were in the womb! Growing up in this area I watched PhoHoa#1 turn into GOGoPho with fear but instead found the new owner both great service, nicely personable and happy to help. Pho has always made me feel better…after morning sickness was killing me, after my cousin’s funeral, after my best friend moved away and the same goes for my kids. You can’t ask for a better bowl of Pho than the #11 at GoGoPho and their spring rolls and fresh squeezed orange juice are on point! Enjoy, it’s all good. Trust.
This was some of the best vegan pho I’ve had in a while. I used to live in Massachusetts and there was a pho restaurant we went to all the time. It was great and the broth was tasty. When I’ve tried other spots, the broth was nasty. So, the place was a pleasant surprise! The broth was amazing! There was a ton veggies and a variety at that! It came with tofu. It was awesome and I would definitely go back again!
Portions are large and food comes out fast. The flavor of pho was lacking. My bowl had mostly a strong star anise taste, hardly any beef. Our noodle dish was good but ordinary. Everything was a little overpriced compared to other restaurants. Just dont order sides or else it will add up.
I had the vermicelli pork dish. Definitely a large portion (medium amounts of meat). If you enjoy rolling solo, its a great place as its not packed often.
Our new favorite spot for hot bowl of Pho. . Their soup is really flavorful with thick beef stock, onions, cinnamon and other spices. MSG detector did not go off. Very well balanced soup which is always served hot. GoGo Combo is the go to item here. Their salad is also great with a good balance of vegetable and mango. Worth the trip during those cold winter days!

The first thing that comes to mind, A safe bet for those that havent had Pho. For some reason the pho broth lacked the many spices compared to many places in East San Jose. Other than, that, I think this place is great.We also tried the salad and coffee. I liked the set meals they have, and portion size.
Wanted to try out a new place that has both pho and banh mi. I was pleasantly surprised. I got the chicken pho which is so comforting and good. The banh mi was flavorful and amazing.

Their rice plate special is a good value!!! $10.99 for a rice plate with a choice of meats, an egg roll and a drink. Delicious too!!! This is my second time here. My first time I stumbled upon this place while headed to Santana Row. I will definitely eat here if I am in the area.

If youre looking for some good delicious pho at reasonable prices check out Gogo pho! Their pho broth is really soothing on a cold day and their large Gogo combo is perfectly portioned if youre really craving a nice bowl of noodles. Staff is super chill and friendly. Ive been here a few times but it doesnt get too crowded for some reason considering the great price and portions!
Exceptional fresh, and flavorful. This cafe style restaurant doesnt try to be something it isnt. The facilities are emaciated clean, snd the tables, and chairs are also well kept. Pricing is not out off the norm, unless you make a big deal out of a buck out two.Based on the many Vietnamese restaurants I habe been to, I would say you have restaurant quality food, on generous portions, at very reasonable prices. Grant out you have a cafe string, but Id you didnt, the overhead would be much higher.There rice vermicelli salad is fresh, and has a generous portion of meat, with fresh, flavorful, and crisp vegetables. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee that came with the luck special was very good, snd the whole bill was 12 bucks.Imagine now going to a fast food restaurant and ordering a milkshake...what would your bill be?Great value, clean, deal and you wouldnt leave hungry!
This place is awful. They make you purchase a minimum of $20 worth of food if you want to pay with a credit card. Who does that?! I was very angry about this, but ordered another entree just because I was trying to get home already. However, the wait for my food was way too long. Ive been to a pho place called Pho Hua and they finished making the food in about 5 minutes. I definitely do not recommend this place.
Pho restraints generally have incredibly low cost of operation. The fact that this place makes you pay for bottled water and refuses to give you tap even on request is absolutely wrong
When I first entered this restaurant, I thought it was self-serve. One of the waiters by the door glanced at me, and then continued meditating in his seat for about 20 seconds before I walked over and asked for a seat. And that pretty much provides a good summary of my service experience at GOGO Pho, or lack thereof.I sat down, went with my usual, and ordered beef noodle pho and egg rolls.The pho was pretty good, but a bit pricey. I was surprised the bowl started at $9 and required the additional purchase for add-ons (onions, shallots, extra beef, meatballs, etc.). The charges for extra meat were reasonable, but some of the other items were a bit unexpected. I suppose it wouldnt be too surprising for a restaurant in the Silicon Valley to adopt a Free-to-Eat with micro-transactions sales strategy:Restaurant provides FREE water. Service, broth, parsley, meat, noodles, lime, sauce, etc. are all additional and available for small monetary payments. LIMITED TIME offer only: Drinks on sale during happy hour.Anyways, I did enjoy the pho. The egg rolls, on the other hand, had delusions of adequacy. They were small and lacking in taste.But overall, it wasnt too bad. I dont really care that much about service at pho restaurants. Dining here is supposed to be a quick and casual experience.

This place has consistently good pho. They have good menu options (including some non soup options). The service is always quick and pleasant and you get exactly what you wanted: a nice warm bowl of delicious pho.

The seafood pho and soup were delicious. Two or three large shrimp and other seafood were also good. Seafood Pho was delicious and the soup was good. Two or three prawns and other seafood inside the soup were good as well.

2023-10-23 01:26:22Food was pretty good,but the service needs improvement. I ordered takeout for 2 items including a mango salad with pork but I got the mango pork vermicelli. The total was $32.40 with taxes and the guy asked me if I could pay cash so I gave him a $50 bill. He gave me $17 back without the loose change. Perhaps he assumed I would have put those coins in the tips jar (yes I would have) with a couple more dollars but I dont think he should have assumed that to begin with. Negative customer experience for sure.

Yes there are typos across the promotional materials — printed menu and TV screen and the interior decor is perplexing. Service here appears to be understaffed yet capable of juggling phone/take-out order and in-person table management. The food was very good. I loved the sliver cut apples and mangoes in the bun bowl. The produce was so fresh. Surprised to see Bo hue soup offered here. I would definitely come here again.

2023-06-30 13:52:19If you like super fresh food at a reasonable price, this place is a must try. tucked in a small strip mall off Stevens Creek (a hole in the wall type place), I would have never thought to stop and check it out. however my friend kept telling me about how great the food was so I finally tried it myself and it didnt disappoint. the chicken salad dish was the best! and the guys who work there are friendly, fast and courteous. I will be heading back regularly for sure.

The outside seems old style store but the interior is neat, well decorating and comfortable. We will try again.

I like that the place was very clean.I got an eggroll ($7.50), and a small combo pho ($16).The eggroll came in 4 medium rolls, it was not bad. I wrapped it in lettuce with some spearmint, and dipped it in their boring fish sauce. It was refreshing to eat eggroll this way.The small combo pho ($16) was small for real, but thats leave me room to enjoy the eggroll. They served me small hoisin, and siracha packets, it was very annoying to open with my hands, and they wasnt very generous with the amount either. I had to used a scissor to opened the sauce packets. The pho broth was okay, the quality of the meat was mediocred.Flavor, and serving style of the food here is a bit on the unauthentic side. Not for picky Vietnamese people for sure.

It was so good that Im still thinking about it and had to leave this review.I am convinced that they have a garden or something in the back because every ingredient tastes so fresh! Even the chicken tastes fresh. Not like the Restaurant Depot, steroid pumped chicken either.Definitely found a new lunch spot! No wonder their parking lot is always full.

2021-10-19 01:30:23Great little pho spot in Santa Clara. Looks kinda ghetto from the outside because the signs are old and peeling, but the inside is nice and clean with stylish decorations and art. I got the #13 (combo beef ball, rare beef, flank steak pho) and the broth was tasty and the meat was tender. It needed a little bit of Sriracha and hoisin to get it just right, but thats the case for a lot of places. I would definitely go back and try their bun thit nuong next time.

Always check youre order before you leave because there is typically something switched even though they read your order back. Regardless the prices are comparable and we eat it with plenty for leftovers.

Fish sauce is plain, maybe they could float some flower cutouts of cucumber or carrot slices just to make it pretty to look at? However, extra toppings and ingredients in their dishes is what makes this place stand out. Fried egg rolls are hot and compact. Pho broth is very dark rich and aromatic. Clean and very small restaurant. No bubble drinks, but interesting drink options, including passion fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. Good place for take out. Plain signage and small parking lot makes this easy to miss, so turn a blind eye to this one.
