Ok full-disclosure I think this place is amazing. And whenever I need to grab a quick bite for lunch with my partner who lives close by we always go here and are never disappointed. I always get the steak phô totally amazing. Highly recommend.

The Golden Bun is great! It was my first time going to the Golden Bun and I will be returning! I got 2 BBQ pork banh mi and a Thai tea. The Thai tea was delicious, you can actually taste the tea and the sugar level was perfect. It was really hard not to drink all at once. The banh mi was great as well! The bread was good, the meat was great, and it felt very authentic.Ill be back for sure!

Best tofu banh mi in Santa Rosa with pillowy-soft bread, crispy and spongy tofu, and flavorful spread. My partner says his pork paté banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee were excellent too. The fresh fruit strawberry smoothie with boba was refreshing. Very friendly staff and cozy ambience.

Came across this place at random after the CRP class. One of the best sandwiches I’ve had. I’m Vietnamese and had plenty of sandwiches in Vietnam and throughout California. The bread had the perfect toast and airy-ness, pate was spot on and like the original sandwich, they added Vietnamese soy sauce! Price was mid range for a sandwich but considering the location, inflation, and quality, we wish we bought extra sandwiches. It does take time to make a fresh quality sandwich so expect a little wait. Good things come to those that wait. :)

The food here was flavorful! We ordered 1 Banh Mi with grilled pork and 1 vegetarian Banh Mi with tofu, both of which were delicious, as well as the chicken wings, and fresh spring rolls with their sweet peanut sauce. Everything was freshly made, hot, and tasty. Would definitely come again!

I ordered the tofu banh mi, veggie ham spring roll, and Thai iced tea with boba and my boyfriend had the chicken banh mi and mango smoothie. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious, enjoyed both drinks. I wish they put hoisin sauce on the tofu inside, but I just put it on the side and was great too. If you want a veggie spring roll, I recommend the tofu spring roll over veggie ham and it’s slightly cheaper too. Will definitely be coming back for the banh mi and Thai tea, one of the best in SR! Service was great too.

30 minute wait for two banh mis, no one else in line, only two other people in store. No one was even making it when we were waiting then we saw an employee come in and then started making it. Good banh mis but the wait is always long even when you order ahead.

Unexpectedly amazing! They did everything right, bread, meat, veggies and sauce. Very much looking forward to my next visit. I had Golden Bun Bahn Mí per the owners recommendation, definitely the right choice. Just get in here and try it.

My husband and I ordered the Tofu Banh Mi, which was flavorful and delicious. We spent less than $20 for the two sandwiches for lunch. The couple working was incredibly friendly and helpful, and I was happily greeted when I walked in to pick up the sandwiches. Well be coming back for more!

I love this place! Very cute and quiet, convenient location, super reliable! Their Golden Bun Combo is the best, but their simple beef pho is always a reliable choice too, although not the main attraction. The boba tea is consistently tasty and the staff are lovely

Meat was poorly wrapped and blood all over my food. It should be in a ziploc bag. Not enough meat either. Soup is not enough for the dish or price paid. I will Never come here again.

Tried the pho and the golden noodles soups and was very pleased with the taste and quality of the food as well as the very pleasant staff (Husband and wife??). The restaurant is a bit basic inside which is the only reason I give it 4 rather than 5 stars. Highly recommend for lunch.

The Phô is great. The broth was rich and perfectly spiced, the meat was tender, and the bits of cilantro and jalapeño brightened the dish. Im used to receiving some basil and other leaves, but it was still very authentic without itThe other things we had - bahn mi and spring rolls - were okay but not the best. There was some strange mayo sauce for the roll and the roast pork bhan mi was a bit dry and flavorless. However, if youre new to Vietnamese food you might find it tasty.

Absolute best báhn mi in Sonoma County. Period. Light, crispy, rolls that are so soft in the middle. Fresh, crisp, veggies. And the tofu is spongy yet firm. Add some hoisin sauce to the sammy and youre in business. They also make outstanding veggie spring rolls, smoothies, and my gf loves the Thai tea, which isnt too sweet. And the pricing is as good as youll get downtown. This is seriously the only place I go for bánh mi, and I come here often, as its healthy and affordable. Were very lucky to have this place in Santa Rosa. I LOVE!
