Golden Burger is right in my neighborhood. I was surprised to see how many good reviews there were on Google so I thought Id give it a try again. The Beef & Chicken Teriyaki plate was enough for 3 meals for me.

So my order was incorrect, I ordered the chicken beef combo, and I got beef and fried shrimp. Whatever, 3 pieces of shrimp Ill eat it. Not mad. What upsets me is paying $14 for a bowl of white rice and barely enough meat to make a taco with.

I wouldn’t have given this place a bad review but it was the customer service. I went back in and showed these pictures and they literally laughed in my face. She did say sorry. Outside of the burger being burnt, the burger was hard as a rock! I’m not from there, so I’m used to more of a southern hospitality where you offer something to make up for it. Even if it’s a free drink. This place is super close to the house, and cheap, but I go where I am valued, even if I have to pay more.

I’ve been going to Gold Yaki for 10 years. It was my high school sweetheart. Went there every week and introduced friends along the way. Everyone loves it.It’s been the same family since they opened and the little Asian lady is the sweetest gal you’d ever meet.The food is fantastic. I don’t usually stray away from the chicken bowls or super burger with a chicken patty, but frankly that’s all I need. Best in town for the cheapest price.

The food has such good quality and the warmth you get from the staff is amazing. Ordered the chicken and beef bowl and I was blown away with the flavor and char the meats had and all for only 10 dollars! Will definitely be coming back here. Oh and they have orange bang!

This place is a Gem in Sherman Oaks area... i am working in an office nearby and ive been craving for some teriyaki bowl.. i miss OMGRILL but its far from where i work now and their prices are not even worth it anymore.. so anyways i tried this spot thinking that if i will not like it here i will just try another spot until i find one... and then here it is.. just one try and i fell in love.. service was very quick and i love how the lady owner/manager is very jolly with anyone.. i mean you go there not to just have good food but also good experience and good customer service.. and their prices are ridiculously cheap! you wont see anything in their menu that is more than $10 except one thing.. their Korean bbq... i cant say anything yet because i havent tried it.. but it may be good! I introduced this to my co-workers and now every time i go to lunch they always ask me if im going out to get some teriyaki goodness because they want some too! Definitely recommended!

The best place ever!! Ive had the burgers, chicken sandwich, beef teriyaki bowl, chicken teriyaki, teriyaki salad, fries, jalapeño poppers everything.. fantastic price.. feels like home.. I love the owners and the cooks.. they always make their food with so much love and are always greeting you with a big beautiful smile.. Ive been a loyal customer since 2006.. I moved 2000 miles away and this is the first place I go whenever I visit home.. love this place!

Me and my brother and friends all used to come here and still do. I make this spot my first visit when I’m around and it always tastes so good. The owners are some of the nicest people you’ll meet, they’ve known us since early teen years and I’m almost 30 now. The fries are perfect and so is the veggie burger with avocado. Teriyaki bowl os what you’d expect it to be. Love that they have the roasted jalapeños too!

Best double cheeseburger that I’ve ever had. Their double cheeseburger is wayyyyy better that anything at the in n out next door. The owners run the place(take orders,cook,serve) and they are super kind.

This place was amazing. I had the short ribs plate and my kids who are picky absolutely loved it. Someone ordered a cheese burger and that looked amazing. Will definitely be going back very soon

The facilities are not maintained, the place looks very dirty, mainly the floor and bathrooms, I think they do not have staff and I see that the owners have no regrets about improving
