Great food at the cost of services but the prices is high. Some main course are generic but overall the food is great! For a party of 3 adults, 78 dollars out the door.,

I got there about 20 minutes before closing and asked if I pay can get a second or third plate. Cashier said probably not. The mgr finally came around and said she would wait for me and the other patrons to eat. But by the time I got to the food, it was all dried out! Fortunately, the cook made a fresh steak for me! The mgr. Did her best, but there is room for improvement!

The fried chicken was really good but over salted as was most of the food I tried. The crust on the blueberry pie was not only anemic looking it was doughy, the whip cream had a after taste one was sugar free one regular but both had the same after taste. I didnt have the steak but others at our table did it was over cooked even burned and tough. The patties in gravy were cold and were just put out when my husband got one. Pot roast was just warm . Heating issues 🤷🏻‍♀️they can do better.

Great food and service! We had steak and wings, macaroni and cheese is good too! Salad bar Is always a good thing, big variety of choices! My only question is why is it that only servers that pick up the plates and refill drinks get tips? I tried to tip the cook and was told I couldnt???? The cooks are the ones making our food so why arent we allowed to tip them? If I feel my food came out great I should be allowed to tip the person making it! Maybe I dont know how it works, do the servers share all their tips with the workers that are actually cooking the food and serving us??? Also, bring the cotton candy back!! 😁

5 stars for the staff who was helping us.The food here is hit or miss depending on the time.Sometimes it will be lukewarm or cold.It’s always full here.the day I went some of the food appeared slightly burnt.I like my meat in heat and juicy but they simply did not give me the heat I needed.

This Golden Corral used to be nice, but everything is so old here now. The bathroom is run down the kitchen areas are horrible, everything needs a general makeover. But the service is awesome. The manager is very friendly and full of joy, great job 👏🏾 😀.

It was crazy busy and the severs were trying to rush around to get tables cleared and drinks refilled, but our server always had a smile and was super friendly. Food was constantly coming out fresh. Didnt have to wait long for anything. The steaks grilling were so juicy and tender. Lots of varieties for dessert. Definitely worth the hour drive for my hungry family!

Im not big on buffets and going at prime lunchtime but I must admit it was very clean. All the workers were very courteous and the manager greeted us and was going around and taking care of things to make sure that everybodys experience was good. Now for the food it was good and a very large selection. I dont think that you can ask for more of a buffet.

A whole Roast Turkey, baked Ham, and Steaks grilled to your preference are at the carving station in front of you as you enter. Plus various sides, fish, Mexican and Italian food and desserts. I like the tender turkey because it is a hard item to find here in the high desert. This must be a great place to stop at for families traveling up the 15 Fwy.

Sitting in here for a fresh review, horrible service, the food is good, if you can find the foods that are made well. We have been getting drink refills about every half hour, it feels like were supposed to thirst to death. Also waiting just as long for someone to clear our plates off the table, only takes less time if one of us goes to look for a busser. Not really worth returning for more of this so called service.

This place was packed when we came. There was limited seating but they kept letting people in. The lines to get steak was horrible and it took for ever to get steak. There was no chicken because it was, and I quote, frozen. The food counter were so messy and the food went fast. It was a mad house. We got there at 3pm on a Saturday and did not expect to get as busy as it was. The only thing I loved about this place was this amazing icee machine.

Terrible food 51$ for two people. Service was okay. The ham they got was gross and slimy.Chicken cold. Bad food selection. Comparable to left over Taco Bell and I’d rather eat the Taco Bell! I don’t recommend any of the food. Drinks were watered down and no silverware expect for spoons. All the food handles were filthy.

Did the fathers day brunch, they had me at endless medium-rare steaks. Not the best ones Ive had, but it was good enough to give me those much need meat sweats. There were some execution misses on a few dishes, but chicken fried bacon 🤤.The staff was very attentive and wished all the fathers a happy Fathers Day. A great value, options that appeased everyone in the family.

About a year ago I had given 5 stars but something changed in this restaurants that doesnt feel the same.There was a few tables available but all of them where unclean with used plates on top. Servers look unhappy and made negative comments about other servers, which is not proffesional. Cooks at grills had an attitude face when asked for grilled meat or ham.

Went last night at 5pm, and most the food was almost gone, and the food was cold. When a waitress came by and asked my mother in law how everything was, she told the waitress the food was cold. Had the worst experience I ever had at a golden corral. The only pleasant thing was the waiter. Rolls were like bricks. They were completely under staffed. I submitted a review from the receipt and they called me this morning. Very unprofessional and no accountability. They offered a free buffet lol. I have a family of 6. Bad experience.First they overcharged me. They charged me for dinner and it was 11amI told the lady but she said on Sundays there is no lunch.Then they did not have any knife or spoons. The waitresses dont acknowledge and ignore your dirty plates. Only the male worker was helpful. The women are rude for the exception of one Victoria. The food made my husband and I sick afterward. The manager is nice, but I think they need to hire better workers with good customer service and make sure the food is fresh and not out long to prevent bacteria.

All the food here is dried out from the heat lamps and not fresh at all. This was at 6:30pm on a Friday night. $78 for five people was about $70 too much.I am sorry to give such a poor review but it was not good at all. They are way understaffed as well, so tables are left with dirty dishes and trash all around. Look at the pics I posted to show how dried out and poorly stocked the food stations are.

The worst of it all were the bathrooms, they were filthy and they both smelt like urine. My husband and I had to both use the bathroom and he told me the men’s smelt horrible too.

This place is pretty big and well kept inside. There is plenty of room and definitely plenty of food. When you enter the hostess/Cashier are nice and they greet you. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Although you serve yourself whatever you want it is still nice to leave the waitress a tip as she brings your drinks and picks up your dirty dishes. Plenty of variety but my favorite is the salad bar. Price is great for the amount of food you get.

We were surprised by the price increase, as it wasnt disclosed on their website which still reflected the old price. I was given a piece of steak that was so over cooked that it was actually crispy. Then, I was all ready for a rare treat of soft serve ice cream, only to find the machine out of service. Generally, though, the food was up to the normal standards for Golden Corral. Nice salad bar, tasty fried chicken, good side dishes and their carrot cake was much better than previous occasions.

Totally depends when you are going. I went by myself on a Wednesday and found that for the 17.50 price the food was meh. The Cajun shrimp seen on the picture was very different than pictured. If you noticed the picture shows shrimp half the size of the corn cob when in reality its half the size of the sausage chunk and you have to dig through the tray to get those shrimp. They were out of the peel and eat shrimp and couldnt even find the slow smoked serloin. The meat I got from the chef was ok. Not really serloin.

If youre tired of fast food restaurants while you travel on the 15 freeway I suggest stopping at this Golden Corral. Its visible from the freeway and takes a few turns to get to it. But its all the good American food you can eat for one price. The drink is free for seniors. And water is free for everybody! Great for a family with kids also. And the table spacing is better than 50% of all the dine-in restaurants in my opinion.

They have breakfast, early-bird (2pm - 4 pm), and dinner. They have discounts for seniors (age 60). As with all buffett style restaurants, food may not be as hot as a regular menu ordered meal. But, this stores offering was pretty good. There is a variety of entrées in which to choose from. A great assortment of deserts as well.

Ive never ever cared for Golden Corral. Tried them in Atlanta and twice here. Hated it. However, the management has done an exceptional job. Its clean, orderly, and the food was delicious. I don’t have family to spend time with on Thanksgiving so I usually go out to eat on that day and I came here. I was NOT disappointed! My server Tori was amazing and made my whole day with how attentive and caring she was. I didn’t have to ask for a single thing cuz she was right on top of it! The food was amazing! The dining area was clean, the food was great, service was great. My only issue was the bathroom was pretty gross. The sink water came out with immense pressure so when washing it all splashes back at you. The paper towels are hung right by the sink as well, sitting pretty low and getting wet. This restaurant has to be the worst one in Hesperia maybe even in the entire high desert....... We have been here a couple of times and were so disappointed that we have not been in there for quite some time... We decided to try it again today to see if anything had changed but unfortunately it is worse than it ever was... We went around 1:30, 2:00 and the prices on the lunch menu are not what they advertised online so we ended up paying $32 for two adults to get lunch... We find a table and go to the buffet to check out the food... Everything looked dry and overdone, there were many of the hot trays with no food at all.. for instance there was no fried Chicken very little mashed potatoes no meatloaf and no pizza... There was a stack of burnt pancakes, the onion rings were soggy and when the chicken finally did arrive it was only about eight pieces and they were not completely done inside.. the hush puppies tasted like greasy lumps of tasteless dough. Once the meatloaf was out it was okay the new tray of mashed potatoes was okay and some of their other foods were not too bad like the rice and teriyaki or sesame chicken Im not exactly sure what it was... They were very few desserts to choose from.. I know it was early in the day but if youre paying the same money that any other customer at any other time of the day pays you should get to have anything that they get as well.. cupcakes and little bits of jello topped with some Cool whip are not exactly what I would consider a dessert. The ice cream area was very dirty.. the only thing really good about the restaurant was the man who was acting as host, bus boy and getting drinks for everyone at the tables.. he was working faster than the rest of the crew combined. Unfortunately I did not get his name. also the kitchen staff that bring out and replace the food do not wear hair nets and they give you a sideways look when you ask if food will be brought out soon to refill the low or empty containers... This restaurant is not worth the price the atmosphere is severely lacking and they didnt even try to be festive for the holiday season putting up some sad, tired looking tinsel style ornaments. We learned our lesson today and will not go back to that restaurant again and I do not recommend it for anyone.

Went here last night for my birthday 12/9 and I was so disappointed they had not brought out a new turkey or a sweet potato casserole. I even asked the staff to bring out a new tray of sweet potatoes the staff said yes, but they didnt and I waited over an hour and still no turkey or sweet potatoes. It took them forever to replace the bread pudding as well its shameful to call yourself a Buffett when I cant even eat what is advertised because your establishment wants to penny pinch. Our waitress Juliana did a great job of passing around the 1 and assumingly only bottle of steak sauce they had from table to table. I came in on 12/2/2022 and our server cute short table with a handful of plates to grab our dirty plates and she placed the hand full of plates on our table as she proceeded to grab ours. Then she came back again as she reached over the table towards the napkin holder to grab napkins that were dirty on the table did not say excuse me did not say can you hand me those she just proceeded to reach in between me and my daughter very rudely. I had approached the cook he was on his break to ask him if the fish was completely cooked he said yes when you explain to me he was very polite. So after the second encounter with the server I approached management she did not seem concerned at all basically dismissed me then he proceeded to talk to his employees while I was still in the restaurant. After he did this she refused to clear or plates or get a refills on drinks. To meet the owner needs to seek better management. Notice the place has taken a turn for the worst food was not that great lacking taste and cold. I would not recommend at this time.

My family has been going here for years, we all enjoy the place. The waiters have always been fast, kind, and patient. The food is just as great, anyone on the grill produces great quality meat, and all the food available always tastes fresh, especially the deserts. I came on a Sunday at noon,the cashier couldve been nicer but there was a man before me trying to get a refund that looked mad. Maybe that interaction affected her. The drink lady was nice and explained how those worked clearly. The meat station was fantastic,the main entrees and sides were flavorful. The regular ranch ran out fast, Im not at a buffet for the fat free stuff. Ha. The only issue was the desserts. From what I can tell, the chocolate frosting on the cupcakes needs to be done away with. I believe its the powdered mix that was just way too sweet. The carrot cake was a bit dry as well. Otherwise, it was clean and there were employees cleaning the stations most of the time. Its good to see buffets opening back up.

We visited the location at Main Street in Hesperia, California today to celebrate our friends birthday. Upon arrival, we requested a table large enough for our group. We were told that both the party room and the whole side of the restaurant that was not already full were reserved for large parties that would soon be arriving. They refused to accommodate our needs, even though one of the people in our group is 95 years old. We were forced to sit at two separate tables and not together. Initially, our server, Victoria, told us that she would not give us clean cups for drink refills, and even though she had a handful of dirty cups, sarcastically said that she could keep each persons cup straight. We very quickly realized that she would go to every other table except ours to refill drinks. She also refused to take our dirty plates away, and yet found it somehow appropriate to make a sarcastic comment when we would remove the plates ourselves or go get drink refills ourselves. After quite a while of this, we approached the Manager, Tiffany. She told us that not only were there no reservations that day for large parties (those areas remained vacant), but that she would also send a different server, Angelina. What followed was that the Manager Tiffany, Victoria, and Angelina would walk back and forth past our area several times laughing. Angelina not once came over to our tables. She would go to the table next to us, serve them, shoot us a dirty look, and then go back and laugh with her friends, Victoria and Tiffany. In addition, Tiffany sent one person alone over to sing Happy Birthday to our friend, while the three of them went clapping and singing to another table. Tiffany not once came to re-check our experience. To be quite honest, we were mortified by the lack of professionalism, not only by the servers, but by the person put in charge to supposedly supervise them. We were more in an episode of Mean Girls or junior high school bullying than in a professional establishment. If you cant ask the manager for assistance, who can you ask? When you voice a concern and you get laughed at and ignored for the remainder of your visit, its truly disgusting! Tiffany, Victoria, and Angelina may have thought they were funny and not have cared about their poor and unprofessional behavior and how they treated our group today, but hopefully someone will care about this review. Not to mention the power of word-of-mouth. Shame on the three of them for representing Golden Corral in such an unprofessional manner. I truly hope that this is not behavior that this company condones. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Our group has been using this place since the building opened its doors.the head of our group reserved the private room for the year in December, we even had a meeting in January now February we were told someone had taken the reservation for the Year we would have to change. Do you think we are all wrong, Pastors included.The food quality has gone down as the months have gone on, the service was nonexistent we had to clear our own tables and get coffee for ourselves. I went tonight to have dinner with a few friends tonight and we we’re told that a section of the restaurant was reserved for a large group of people and we were not allowed to sit in that area. As we watch them clean that area they then closed that area off for no one to sit in that area and we found out from management that they had no reservations for that area. The waitress that we had at the time refused to help us or clear the plates from our table and got upset when we move the plates off of our table onto an empty one so we can go back up and get some more to eat. She even got to the point where she refused to refill our drinks and we had to go and fill them ourselves. This will be the last time I ever eat at that restaurant.

The Golden Corral was very family-orientated and the customer service was impressive. Maybe theyll add more sea food. I didnt notice much of a seafood selection other than baked. Glad they are back open. Sad they dont have enough servers on the floor and cant put the food put fast enough. The head cook is fun to watch as she boastful bark out orders. The omelet chef needs some training on quickly getting the omelet out. She does not flip or tuck the uncooked eggs so it can get done faster. Also she burns the egg most of the time because she allow the eggs to sit on the fire for 5 minutes plus waitingfor the top to cook instead of flipping. Dessert bar looked good but only the young people had room and the energy to select from their. I hope they get more workers so the next time our time there will run smooth. Went here Today, TERRIBLE! The food is dry and has no seasoning, wheres the flavor?? I found a hair in my food and my fruit looked like someone bit it and put it back. On the sign it says for 1 adult is about $13, but when you get there for an adult is $18, THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH THE HYPE YOU PEOPLE GIVE IT. Worst of all we got there and they didnt even have all their food items out because they were closing in a little, but if they’re not gonna have all their food out the shouldn’t make people pay that much. WE ARE STILL PAYING CUSTOMERS. The only reason this place gets 1 star is because I cannot give it zero, but if i could i would. The only thing that could earn this place 1 star is the staff, they are sweet. Dont eat here its not worth it.

Not even trying anymore. No lunch on Sundays, and dinner starts at 11 am... today we got their at 1030, the line wasnt moving, only one register open... after waiting 15 minutes without moving we ask if were going to have to pay dinner rates if it takes us an additional 15 min if the line continues to stand still. She said yeah its automatic... it appeared like they were purposely holding up the line as it grew to fill the lobby so that everyone would get hit with the dinner fee... an extra $5 per person. She blamed it on a customer having gift cards... rrdiculous?

A lot of the food trays were empty, including most of the salad fixings and dressings. Many of the hot foods were either empty or cold. The pot roast, carrots, and mashed potatoes were cold. The hush puppies were so overly fried that I couldnt even bite into them. We were very disappointed and probably wont be going back. For $40, we could have eaten a lot better somewhere else.

Had lunch and dessert. Their ranch was good as well as their rolls. Everything else bad. The fried fish was flavorless, the chicken tenders were dry and overcooked, the fries were just like every other place. The broccolli salad was very bitter, and finally their desserts were all bad (banana creme pie, bread pudding, banana nut bread, chocolate dipped pinnaples, peach cobbler)

The food and selection is great, better lunch and dinner than breakfast.Deserts galore.The staff is friendly, all tho we got forgotten for a bit.Been there a couple of times, one of which my wife ended up with a moth in her salad 🤢. It was a little disappointing that the manager only offer to return the fee for her meal.Not that it was need it but, in that kind of situation and been a restaurant I would think they would offer a whole refund and some kind of incentive. To make a patron feel better and motivated to keep returning.

This GC was over packed. We had to wait to be seated. It seemed to be short on staff, we saw our waitress once. The food however is always good. The real down fall is it cost $40.00 for two seniors.

The food was OK. But some major draw backs. When you enter you get a serving tray which is fine but they need to check them first. They where dirty with mashed potatoes caked on them. Also they had no cups for the drinks ready so they tell you to tell the person working your area except no one was there for over half an hour. The tables where dirty and no silverware was present at the tables. Had to go ask the girl working the register for some and her reply was they are at your table. They need better management.

This was a first-name visit at Golden Corral. We loved it. Especially the salad bar area choices. Disappointed in the dessert choices, pies and chocolate fondue only. Had hoped for some cakes, jello and / pudding.The taco station was yummy too. Will have to go back to try entree area. After salad and tacos no room in tummy for anything else.We had wonderful service too. Very helpful and this restaurant was very clean. We would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys buffet style eateries.

This Golden Corral is not as busy as others Ive been too, which makes for a pleasant experience. The food is always the same, lots of variety and tasty. My family loves this place. There is something for everyone. Ive never been to a buffet that has anywhere close to as many dessert options as they do. The kids have cotton candy eating contests. No other buffet offers this kind of delicious fun.

Been stopping here every trip on my way to Vegas. I love the breakfast buffet on Saturdays. All-you-can-drink juice/ coffee with the buffet. Best deal around for breakfast and a great break from the drive to Vegas. I have seen the same friendly staff working for the past year so the service is consistently excellent.

The steak was perfectly cooked and went well with the shrimp I ate, and the macaroni was just wonderful chesse BBQ beans very tasty fried cat fish was moist and crunchy and the pozole was very tasty. Yummy Im going back in two weeks

This place is not bad. If your looking for something that has something for everyone and isnt that bad on price yes if your looking for something quiet with only top quality food no. The best things there are the fried chicken and some of the meats and the burger sliders. The chocolate fountain is disgusting. It should only be used by the associates and not the guests as kids tend to spread bacteria through it. Get rid of it or change it to a request only. Its time we set the bar a little higher.

Service was great, but the selection of food for the price we paid was pretty disappointing. Selection of meat was poor. A good salad, dried out chicken, cold pulled pork, strange tasting coleslaw, and an actually good tasting piece of steak was definitely not worth the 27+ paid per person. Its been awhile since my last visit.....and probably even longer til the next. Certainly has changed, not for the better.
