I love the egg rolls at this place! I usually order their com tam with various meat combinations and egg rolls. My only complaint is that there is too little rice in the com tam—more broken rice, please!The pho is also quite tasty. The service is excellent, and the staff is accommodating. Expect a wait, but you can join the waitlist through Yelp. There is a parking lot but it’s often full, fortunately, theres also free street parking nearby.

Golden deli is one of the best Vietnamese spots in the SGV. Be prepared to wait for a while if you don’t come right when they open because they’re an extremely busy location. When you order, the food comes out in a few minutes and the service is extremely quick. A must order are the fried egg rolls (cha gio), which are served with lettuce wraps and dipping sauce.

Broth is very flavourful, really hits home on the savoury notes. Lovely setting, staff are super friendly and the food was brought to the table pretty quickly.The serving size for the noodles were fair, size wise for the egg rolls was generous, like myself, and quite heavenly!Definitely a must try location for anyone in the are! Love this place. A friend took me here. The restaurant is packed. Theres usually a wait. Its definitely worth the wait though. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have been to. Super fast service once you get seated. Our server was super nice and made great recommendations since there are so many items on the menu. Im sure anything you order on there wouldve been equally as delicious. There is a parking lot, but you may have to wait for a parking spot on a busy day.

Late to the party but so glad we finally made it. Best Vietnamese food I’ve had in LA so far. The bún riêu (tomato-based broth) pho was so excellent and the beef broth pho is incredibly flavorful. We also got the appetizer sampler which was so good (never tried shrimp paste that way). 10/10 no notes.

The dance friends took our sisters to eat for the first time. The taste is good and the business is very good. The service attitude of the short-haired old woman is particularly bad. There is a Mexican lady with big eyes and beautiful eyelashes. She helps to take pictures. The photography skills are great! In the end, he drove us away... Said that many people were waiting for a seat. Speechless!

What’s not to love about this Gem! If you want authentic Vietnamese cuisine with great quality ingredients and an inviting staff… then this is the place. Remember to sign in on the tablet inside. You can always get a great meal with fast service here. Food is reasonably priced and they give generous portions. My favorite dish is the cha gio (fried spring rolls served with fresh herbs and veggies). Pho lovers say theirs is the best in the area. Their bahn mi doesn’t get as much hype - I enjoyed mine, but did feel like it was a little dry. Great texture on the baguette. Their goi cuon/spring rolls are also fresh and light, the perfect add-on if you want a little something extra.

The Golden Deli is one of the best Vietnamese Restaurants I have ever been to in my life. I have been eating Vietnamese food for 5 years not and I know what is expected and not expected. The atmosphere is very fast and going - you know when youre in there that people are eating crazy fast and they are going in and out. Like the atmosphere, the service is almost scary fast, I was wish a group of three and we ordered 10-12 items, ranging from food to drinks, and they all arrived in under 15 minutes. With there being over 40 people on such a small area you would be surprised at how fast they were. The food was fantastic! The flavor was very good, not over done, or too much seasoning, the Vietnamese coffee was just a heart attack in the waiting. The price and wait times are last but not least. The wait times can go from 15-50 minutes depending on the volume of customers. And the price is dirt cheap. You will never find a mix of high quality and low prices for this quick of service anywhere else in the Valley.

Same greatness as its original location in San Gabriel in a slightly updated and less formal restaurant environment. This is an excellent alternative if SG is packed, but often times during peak hours this location is far busier.Golden Deli continues to make excellent Pho, and most folks dont realize their rice dishes are equally excellent if not better than any other place in the San Gabriel Valley. In addition, the Fried Spring Rolls are also one of the best in the business. Made and served fresh, these are the decadent delights of any meal here.

I was highly impressed with the vietnamese food here! The meat quality is superb for pho and the bun rieu oc is really good as well. Usually bun rieu oc doesnt come with extra dipping sauce so when it came with it here, it made it all the more special. Very authentic with the herbs and everything. The restaurant is always packed so make sure you have time to wait if necessary! Definitely worth checking out if youre in the area.

It is safe to say that Golden Deli is the most authentic and delicious Vietnamese food I have ever had the pleasure of trying.Came here with a few buddies on a Saturday around 3pm and was able to be seated after 10-15 minutes. If you wait until later, expect to wait in long lines.Once you sit down, they tend to you immediately and they’ll keep checking on you at least 5-10 times throughout your meal which I appreciate in a busy place like this where you constantly want to add more and more to your order and refill your drinks!We went all out and started with a few appetizers of egg rolls, multiple bowls of pho, and dinner plate entrees.The egg rolls are different than any I’ve had prior. They are giant rolls that are blistered on the outside to keep it super crispy on the outside, but soft and flavorful on the inside. They are so addicting we had 3 orders of them. It is highly recommended that you wrap with mint leaves and the lettuce they give you and dip it in your small bowl of broth with carrots. You will NOT be disappointed if you do so!The shrimp paste had me hesitant because of the word “paste” but it is nothing like that. The best way I can describe is is ground shrimp cooked in oil and formed to perfection.The #89B dinner plate was just as fantastic. It comes with egg rolls, shrimp paste, and grilled beef. Lots of good flavor, highly recommend adding some of the side sauces they provide at the table to fit your liking.The Pho we had was the icing on the cake. I enjoy having a nice broth or a soup at the end of a meal to “fill the cracks” lol. The broth was extremely flavorful and not too salty and the meat was tender and delicious. Add chili oil to it as you please if you like a little more kick.I have absolutely no complaints when it comes to this spot. I highly recommend to anyone who loves or wants to try authentic Vietnamese food!

I ordered a few items for pick up. The first thing I normally do is greet the cashier. He seemed extremely unhappy to see me and didnt say thanks or how are you - that honestly already lost my business with them.The next thing they got wrong was my order. I only found out when I took the food out at home - no, I didnt call them to complain and have to deal with their awesome personable service. They were missing the shredded pork that was supposed to go on top of the bun bell.Last but not least, the food doesnt even taste that good.The unfriendly customer relation, getting the order wrong, plus not tasting good put them on my do not go to list.I also want to mention that this is not an isolated or first impression, it happened before - multiple times. If it wasnt for my mom asking me to order there, I would had never given them my money.I rather pay for a place that have ok tasting food, but treat you with the respect that every customer deserves when they walk up to a restaurant than to a place that make you feel unwanted with no thank you as you walk away.Edit: 8/6/23. I just realized that I posted this review on a different restaurant over two years ago by mistake. I took that review down and instead posted it (here) now at the correct restaurant. I havent had Pho very much but, damn, was it good! Ordered the regular Spicy Pho, not as spicy as I would have liked but that is why they provide extra chili at the table. The mango smoothie was delicious as well.I would have given this place 5 stars but their customer service isnt that great. They practically made us order their egg rolls that contain pork, which we said 5 times that my girlfriend is allergic to. She took a bite from one before they told us about the pork. It could have been bad! They didnt want to offer us a refund until after we were finished eating.

We arrived at 7pm on a Sunday. When we first walked in, we were asked to sign in on a tablet then to wait outside until we received a text that told us our table was ready. It only took about 10 minutes. We were seated and our order was taken. The restaurant was clean and utensils were served in a sanitized basket to our table. We ordered 2 orders of the pho #2 and egg rolls (5 total on one plate). The broth was pretty good, not too salty. The egg rolls came with fresh veggies to wrap them in. Overall, I think the service and cleanliness was better than I expected. Extra points for the super strong AC they had, if made us want to eat more pho! Haha 😂

I’ve been coming here for over 15 years. We got the rib eye pho was absolutely delicious. Thai was great. Egg rolls are incredible— incredibly crispy and tasty when you wrap it with lettuce. I would definitely come here at least thirty mins early because there’s always an extremely long wait.

Update:Reopened a week ago. My favorite Vietnamese restaurant revamped the interior and added plexiglass divider between tables. The interior looked fresh and clean. Nice dining environment.The food is just as good as before. They are not as busy though. Maybe many people still dont know that they are open yet.I ordered the broken rice with BBQ pork, shrimp paste and egg roll. Although the rice was not broken rice, but the whole dish was good. I loved the egg roll as Golden Deli still uses rice paper for egg roll skin while most other restaurants use regular flour wraps. Using rice paper is the authentic way for making Vietnamese egg roll.The service seemed to be much better than before the pandemic. At least the people were dressed in uniform now.I also noticed parking spaces were easy found now. If you like Vietnamese food, should definitely go dine in and support the restaurant.End of update.My go to restaurant for pho. We probably go there at least once a week. The restaurant is clean and the service is great. They have all the regulator Vietnamese dishes you would find at the original golden deli restaurant in San Gabriel. My favorite dish is ribeye steak pho with tendon. The soup is very authentically Vietnamese. This place is packed during lunch and dinner. Put your name in yelp waiting list when first come into the restaurant. Parking is either in front of the restaurant or in the back. Also try their spring egg roll, one of the best in LA.

This place has been my go to for years now. I used to love the pho tai but recently the meat/broth quality seem to have gone down. I would still go there for the tofu pho, shrimp rolls, and other rice dishes though.(In response to the store asking for more details…the broth tastes predominantly salty rather than flavorful (to me) and the beef slices are tough and not flavorful. We had Bun Bo Hue but tasted weak on the flavorings. Bun cha-gio was crunchy but the chao-Tom had no texture & it was too soft for the breakdown shrimp not chewy. The Sam-buy-luong had no fresh ingredients. I hope that I will come back someday to try something else for a better rating.Edit: The Sam-buu-luong didnt have fresh ingredients when I chewed on it. Smells like dried stuff stored too long in the warehouse. Lunch was about $50 for 2 persons.

The only complaint I have is that the line is too long. You have to be patient. Otherwise, enjoy the argubly best Vietnamese food! This was the first place my husband took me to on our first date. Took me a long time to write this review. Like a long time because now we have a toddler.We all love Pho. This is a little drive from Pasadena to here, but this is our local pho place.It took us awhile for us to be seated, but the service was quick and very friendly. We ordered 2 large beef pho bowls, fresh spring rolls, and a sampler plate. We all LOOOOOOOOVED it! Since I ordered the large beef pho bowl, I just shared this with my toddler. I just asked the server for an extra bowl and plastic utensils. Also, since we ordered pho, it came with all the amazing fixings cilantro, bean sprouts, jalapenos, lemon/limes, and onions. The fresh spring rolls also came with its own fixing with lettuce, cucumber, fish sauce, and radish/carrots. The sampler plate also came with its own fixing. Hahaha…I know it’s a lot of food but it’s just amazing. At the end of the dinner everything was GONE!!!!- Excellent PHO!- Excellent FOOD!- Excellent Service!- Excellent Prices!I highly recommend this place to everyone!!!!We will have to drop by, since we just moved to Irvine. Clean, efficient, busy. I had the brisket pho and an order of egg rolls.The egg rolls were outstanding - crispy, tasty and packed with goodness. The dipping sauce was weak in flavor. It couldnt decide whether it was savory or sweet and turned out to be neither.I found the same problem with the broth for the pho no distinctive flavor. Kind of bland. There were plenty of bean sprouts, lettuce and mint leaves, and other herbs to add to the pho.

Went there with wife a couple times. So last time ordered same thing as before. And thats what happened. They brought us our pho combo and we found BUG in bowl. We called waitress so let them now whats going on. As he came to our table we told him there is bug in soup. But his reaction seemed very unprofessional to me. He said yes i seeing bug so what you dont want do pay??? This only thing he was concerned about if we are still going to pay. No apologies not even offering any opportunities to change the the pho with bug for new one . Nothing like that. I understand something it may happened and at least need give apologies and try to fix the issue. And if they reacted like that without any attempts to figure out and only thinking about paying the bill. Alright. So paid even still tipping them and left. But overall food is good there and this place is always full and a lot of customers waiting outside to be seated.

I dont know why people have to even make a comment on the wait time. it only makes sense considering how delicious the dishes are. my boyfriend and I literally come here on a weekly basis at this point, and not once did we have an issue waiting. in fact, it gives you enough time to look through the menu. once youre seated, the crew is very attentive to your needs. id highly recommend the salted plum and salted lemonade sodas! As the late great restaurant critic Jonathan gold once said, the golden deli is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in all of Southern California.I lived within a few minutes walking distance of the golden deli for many years and patronized it hundreds of times. Golden Deli is located in a parking lot filled with a bunch of other restaurants and businesses, so dont worry about the parking situation. Came here on a weekday for dinner and only had to wait a few minutes for a table of 2. Right when you walk in, you can tell that this spot is very homey and authentic and the food would come out delicious. Service was also very quick; everything came within 5 minutes of ordering! Of course we had to start with the egg rolls and we were shocked at the size! Im used to little short egg rolls but these were almost the same size as summer rolls! It was crispy and delicious and I wish other Vietnamese restaurants would make theirs the same size. For the main meal, we had to get some classic pho and bun bo hue. For the prices, I expected the bowls to be bigger and filled with more food. Other than that, it was still pretty good and full of flavor. This spot is perfect if you want a quick meal that is soupy and comforting.

The BEST beef pho in town. Weve been coming here for over 15 years. We moved even further away and its still worth the traffic and the 40 minute wait to be seated. The fried egg rolls are amazing. And gluten free!! 🙌

May 2022 - Party of 5. Food came out quickly and we were seated promptly. No wait, got there around 5pm on a Friday.Food/Pricing - Pho regular ($13.00), overall not bad but wish they gave more noodles and broth could be more tasty.Bun Rieu ($14.00), very yum! On the slightly saltier side but the taste is very solid. For $1 more you can get snails in there but they dont taste like much.Durian Smoothie ($6.00), so so good!! Hit the spot for me and you can really taste the durian!We usually get egg rolls with pho but the prices were way too high for us so we didnt end up ordering. 5 pcs for $14! Thats more than a pho...Service/Ambiance - Very attentive service! Refilled our hot tea promptly. We asked for a small bowl and never got it but other than that the service was good especially for a pho restaurant!Will I be back? If Im in the area, Ill definitely be back to get more Bun Rieu!

I’ve been coming to GD since they arrived a few years back. They survived the Vid shut down and seem to be thriving again. Extensive menu that not only include excellent Vietnamese vermicelli noodles but egg noodles. Previously mentioned fried egg rolls are a legit 10/10. I jar egg noodles with win ton and bbq pork. My friend had dry vermicelli with vegetables and fried pork. So yummy. Excellent service as the electronic waitlist is in full affect. Staff is on top of both to go and sit down. Kudos to the dedicated to go guy manning the phones and keep it humming. I hate poor service.

Decent pho, but they will nickel and dime you.Ridiculously Tiny portions, and when it was time to pay it seemed a bit more than I was expecting. I found they charged me for every extra side condiments like extra sliced onions. I feel like management doesnt really care about my patronage since their existing business is already popular. I felt unappreciated.Food is decent. Their pho is not the really stanky type. I would recommend this restaurant, but be aware when ordering extra anything and be ready to order extra noodles too.

We ordered party trays from Golden Deli for our wedding lunch snack. I have to praise them and say how easy it was to order and how they packaged it to make it easier for our party to enjoy lunch. Specifically shout out to Thy. She has been so helpful in our wedding process and just did what she can to help. The food is always amazing but Thy made the experience better. The restaurant coordinated with our event coordinator and they managed every detail for us without involving us which allowed us (the bride and groom) to just enjoy the special day. I was eating today with my family and I saw a tall male manager yelled at a customer. He did not have a name tag, none of the employees had name tag so I did not know his name. The customer was waiting for a table and there were no customers at the new table. The employee did not call anybody’s name for the new table so the customer went to sit. He yelled at the customer “what’s your name?” and then he say to him “no that’s not your table”. He was very rude to this customer and did not apologize. The customer already sat down but the manager was very disrespectful. Also the employees would throw the containers and napkins on the table when you ask for them. They don’t say “here you go” or “would you like anything else?” or “how is everything going?”. The customer service in Golden Deli is bad. The soup is very salty and the egg rolls are burned black. Other American restaurants are nice to customers and communicate nicely. The Vietnamese people need to learn how to care about customers if they want good business.

This our Vietnamese spot. The food is amazing and authentic. I travel to this a good 15 miles eventhough I live around 5 Vietnamese restaurants in my neighborhood. The staff are wonderful and efficient. Definitely the best. Just check out the recognitions on the wall. And whatever you decide to eat, make sure you try the fried egg rolls. You will be hooked and find yourself craving for it after youve had a taste.

I used to come here often during school, and today I brought my family for the first time. The interior is clean and well air-conditioned. The service is very friendly; they have excellent staff here.We ordered pho, vermicelli, grilled chicken, and their spring rolls. All of it was great and served very quickly. The pho tai has thicker slices of beef than I like, but the meat was tender and flavorful.There was a wait, but it went pretty fast. I dont mind waiting for good food, and the service was so fast that it seemed like we were served moments after we sat.Parking is a bit of a hassle here since there are several businesses here. I didnt see if parking on the adjacent street is allowed, but next time Im going to see if thats an option.

I live around the corner and my family and I are regulars. On the weekend people park up and down our street to dine at The Golden Deli.We love the Pho and my wife enjoys the chicken curry. The Pho is $9.00 a bowl for the rib-eye, which is my personal favorite. I highly recommend this restaurant. Try to avoid peak times and weekends if you don’t want to wait. Even if you have to wait, they manage to move people through rather quickly.

Just revisited my childhood favorite Pho place during the pandemic, and my wife and I were thoroughly disappointed! Food still came out fast and hot for takeout, but flavor had gone the other direction. We moved to the west LA and found more places that serves better tasting vietnamese dishes. The combo plate was horrible, pork chop was overcooked to a point that it tasted like recycle card board. Maybe the kitchen is still trying to figure things out. One of the best pho places in San Gabriel Valley and maybe even LA. Food always arrives really fast. Be prepared to wait for a table though as lines can be long for this quite popular place. The menu covers a wide selection of Vietnamese dishes, of which weve tried several. The beef pho (#2) is my absolute favorite. I also enjoy their broken rice, but there are better places to get that. I wouldnt order bun mi here at all, since sandwich shops like Tip Top and Mr Baguette are far superior for that dish. Definitely stick to the noodles and you wont be disappointed.

Food is excellent, however, service is disappointing.I had an early working morning so since 6 in the morning i was drinking my starbucks and i brought my almost empty cup so i could throw it away.Upon sitting down for lunch at 12, this young server came up and keep repeating no outside food or drink, and then he asked are you going to throw it away?I handed him the cup just because i was going to throw away anyways.I understand the restaurant policy but that was so RUDE to ask if i am throwing out my drink. He could have explained their policy and ask me if I can put my drink aside during the meal. I would have understand and remember not to bring my drinks to this place again.There are million other polite ways to explain this but he chose a really bad way.If this is the restaurants way of trying to make sure customer order drinks, thats too bad.Anyways, apart from that, food is really good. The egg rolls are really fresh, the vegetables that came with the egg rolls are fresh and clean too.The pho is very tasty, noodles was cooked perfectly. One thing they could improve is loosen the noodle a little before serving. The noodle i had is cluttered together so when you pick up the noodles, they break. But food still tastes really good.Overall, i love the food, it well deserve 5 stars. 1 star was for service, thus the 3 stars.I wish yelp has a ranking system which allows you to rate on food, services, atmosphere etc.,Too bad i will miss the good food, because I would not return because of the rude service.

Theres a reason theres generally crowds out front and a long wait. This place is simply great. Huge selection menu. Ridiculously inexpensive. Were still trying to figure out what their slow night is. I think they take a month off and on October for the Harvest Moon Festival so youll want to call ahead. My girlfriend screaming at me in the background dont tell people about this place.

However, their egg rolls are probably the best Ive ever had in the Los Angeles County; granted I havent tried a lot of Vietnamese restaurants for pho. I’m going to rate this place fairly based on service, taste and value. To keep things short all three stars are for value. Coming in on a Monday morning the place was semi busy but still with a couple of empty seats. Within couple of minutes of sitting down we were approached by three different servers asking us if we’re ready to order. With a very extensive menu, we didn’t even glance at the first page but or response of “couple more minutes” was dismissed with a glare. We’ve ordered Pho, banhi Mi, spring rolls, egg rolls and shrimp, crab and pork noodles in soup. Food came quick, pho has a clean rich broth with lots of meat but still basic pho hard to mess it up. Banh mi was mediocre hardly any meat filling, I’d say less in quality that half the price banh mi in the area. Spring rolls were delicious and crispy. Shrimp, crab and pork noodles had literally one small piece of crab claw, average taste. Finally egg roll was also very very basic. In summary, very basic Vietnamese food, nothing really stands out from any other restaurant but prices are on the cheap side. If you like to be rushed to down your food while staff staring at you to hurry up and leave so they can give someone else your spot; this is definitely the place for you. Tip: review the menu prior to coming if you choose to visit because you won’t have time to find something that you might like.

This place has typical Asian customer service, which basically means, you have to accept the way your served and be thankful, smiles are a rarity, and youll be served in the order they see fit. Complain, and suffer the consequences. No one that works there cares that you need a refill on your water or that you need more nuoc mum. So if youre ok with all of that, be prepared for a nice Vietnamese meal.

This place is popular. Its a weekday lunch and theres a 10 minute wait. My background in Pho is that Im spoiled, Little Saigon Westminster spoiled. Parking in the lot sucks. You almost need to stalk someone to get a spot here. There is a neighborhood street around the side where I ended up parking my car, but you dont always want to rely on that.-=-#1 Pho-=- At almost every Pho place Ive been to, hundreds maybe thousands (ok thats exaggerating), the #1 is the largest serving of Pho with all the meats including all the rare cuts, well done cuts, and tendons. One thing that was a bit different here was that some of the meat was cut in cubes, rather than your typical slices. Who notices that really.. just me the seasoned Pho eater.-=-Spring Roll-=-Its a spring roll. Its really hard to mess up as long as you get the contents right. So now its down to the sauce. Its average. Good, not the sweetest and tangiest, but its between the 50th and 60th percentile of what Ive had before.

Best Pho / Vietnamese food you will find in the San Gabriel Valley. The Pho Dac Biet and the Eggrolls are amazing. Just make sure you come early because this place is always packed. Especially at night and on the weekends

Youll be hard pressed to find another Vietnamese place as recognizable as Golden Deli (and with good reason). The restaurant is located on a corner plaza and parking may be difficult during peak hours. And yet the line to get a table may be even longer. Avoid busy hours if you dont want to wait an exorbitant amount of time.The menu puts cheesecake factorys menu to shame with the amount of food there is. My boyfriend and I like to stick with the basics: phó of any variety, spring rolls, egg rolls, beef stew, cóm tám (broken rice), iced coffee, and soda chanh. The flavors are really simple but executed to near perfection. I have yet to taste a phó broth as good as the one they serve here. They pack a good amount of meat and rice for the cóm tám dishes. The beef stew (bò kho) is a favorite of the boyfriend. The broth is more soupy than its western counterparts, but it packs the same amount of flavor without the accompanying heaviness of a western beef stew.The prices are extremely fair and something Id call a steal. Youll spend less than $30 for a couples dinner (appetizer, drinks included).

Back in 1983 when i first came to try Golden Delis Pho Tai it tasted great. The difference is the broth. now it is so much more oily and salty. And my Taste hasnt changed I know others that agree. I came back today and it just does not taste the same. I live in san fransico now and better places here.

Ever since reading Jonathan Golds LA Weekly article about this noodle shop, I knew I had to try it, especially since Im from San Gabriel Valley (Arcadia to be specific). I used to indulge in pho every once in awhile. However, this place has utterly ruined me.The difference lies in the broth. Theres something inexplicably subtle & exquisite about the broth. Im not Vietnamese nor do I pretend to be the utmost authority on pho but I would drive from West Hollywood to San Gabriel just for Golden Delis pho. Thats how good it is. I always get the beef balls (the Vietnamese version of Italian meatballs) in noodle soup. Im sure the other noodle soups are on par as well.

The service here is great, but I have to subtract 1 star for the price relative to the portion they give (i.e., the portion is small in comparison to how much food you get somewhere else for the same price). If you show up during peak hours, expect a line.

Golden Deli sits anonymously in a strip mall amidst several other eateries, from the outside completely unassuming. Open the door to Golden Deli and BAM, hustle and bustle, noise and an extremely active dining room. Now, mind you, if you enter any decent eating establishment in the middle of a dinner or lunch rush, this is to be expected. HOWEVER, I stepped into Golden Deli at around 2:30, a fair amount of time after the lunch rush. I love a dining room alive with the din of servers and customers enjoying a meal, its as intoxicating as any part of the dining experience.As soon as I entered the dining room, I was IMMEDIATELY greeted (possibly a bit too aggressively for some), informing the server that I was ordering something to go and she handed me a menu. I had already perused through the menu prior to my arrival, so I already had an idea what I was ordering. It was a scorcher of a day in Southern California, approaching triple digits, so seemingly one of Golden Delis specialties, a soup or stew, just wasnt an option. I also needed something quick and easy so decided to go with a banh mi, a Vietnamese sandwich. I ordered my sandwich with shredded pork (meat and skin), the banh mi bi. The banh mi came as expected with cilantro, pickled carrots & daikon, cucumber, jalapenos, and a spicy chili sauce. The sandwich was....okay. The shredded pork had a grainy texture to it and the sauce had very little heat. Everything else was adequate and the baguette was properly crusty.On another day and maybe a large bowl of pho, my overall experience might have been different, but on this occasion, I loved the hectic vibe, but the food left me unimpressed.

Dependable Vietnamese food. Famous for cha gio (fried spring rolls). I usually order a pho, a seafood clear noodle soup, some combination dish, and my kids like the 3 item Vietnamese dessert (green jelly, coconut milk, red bean, green bean?). Ill usually order an iced Vietnamese coffee, and this time I was finally able to try a cupcake.

Im not sure what all the hype is about for this place. The food is decent for a Vietnamese restaurant but its not worthy of the price and wait. The portion got lower and price got higher.
