I got the Kung Pao Noodles with chicken. It was decent. Just wish it had a bit more of meat choice without being charged extra. I also got a drink along with it which was pretty good and satisfying. The service was on point and was attentive to our needs which was good! Overall a good place~

While a little expensive for my average lunch this place was more then worth it. The proportiona are great and everything is seasoned well and tastes great. My General Chicken was fried to perfection and was light and crunchy. My server Angel was very friendly and serverd me very quickly. Next time Im in the area getting my truck serviced I know where Im getting lunch.

We have had great experiences here. This is our favorite Chinese food spot in the area and the good food and great service has us come back here each time. Our favorite entrees are their general chicken with chow menu and friend rice and their deluxe vegetables. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients which is why we choose this location over others. Paired with fast and attentive service this place has us constantly returning.

I have yet to have a bad experience with this. This service is exceptional although I only get to go but the people that work there are so nice and the food is really good. I usually go when theyre about to close and the food is all fresh everytime. I love Mongolian beef they make it the way I like it. Keep up the great work you guys are wonderful! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to eat in or to go. They are authentic!

Been going to their Sacramento (Broadway) location for years, my first time eating here at their Elk Grove location. Clean and seating was fast. Main course Garlic Beef lunch special and a General Chicken special to go, plus potstickers, for my coworkers. Food and service both above average and I can now recommend this Golden Dragon location.

So this was my first and last time I go to this restaurant. My sister ordered my food online and it gives you a number to call for curbside service, and it didnt work, they only have two spaces for curbside parking and if you didnt place the order yourself be prepared and have the persons ID. Which I find kind of ridiculous. The food wasnt worth the time. Again I wont be going back.

I always stop through here for happy hour every now and then. There is never a wait and the ladies are friendly and attentive. They have huge flatscreens (3) to keep you entertained especially if youre rolling solo. If you want a dinner togo, I recommend calling it in. They make food cook to order!

Please don’t order from this place unless you already have fork and spoons plus all or your sauces including typical soy sauce. Buyers beware. This location is engaging in shrink-flation. Anything involving any type of meat they will up charge you and then give you much smaller portions. They offer to remake the food, but I’d rather not do business with an establishment with shady business practices.

Alive In Christ ministry from Harvest Church had food catered from Golden Dragon for our monthly luncheon. I worked with Billy to coordinate which food items to order for a group of 55 people. Both Michelle and Jennifer had the food ready for pick up ahead of schedule. The food was EXCELLENT!. Everyone at the luncheon enjoyed the fried rice, veggie chow mein, broccoli beef, general chicken and salt and pepper fish filet. We are extremely grateful to those involved in making our luncheon memorable and tasty. I personally highly recommend catering food for large parties from Golden Dragon. Dinner Sunday night was amazing! Our food was fresh and hot. Our drinks were always filled and cold. Our amazing server was Kelsie. She was so kind and constantly asked us how everything was or if we needed anything. When I go back I will be asking to sit at her table.

This is basically an upscale panda express. I ordered the garlic noodles which looked plain but actually tasted pretty good. It has a sweet taste. We also ordered a dinner combo with broccoli beef, and Mongolian bbq combo. Portions were ridiculously large. I had a mountain of noodles on my plate. I also ordered the bbq pork bao which did not come looking like the picture in the menu and was mediocre. Ended up paying $70 for everything. They were slow so servers were attentive.

This was recommended by my sister, as we were visiting and bringing dinner to her house. Ordering over the phone was simple, the associate was very helpful and kind. Our food was ready when we picked up and stayed fresh the rest of the way. The recipes were delicious, and the product was very fresh. I can honestly say I was VERY surprised at how affordable it was. Anywhere else would easily be over $100 and this was a bit under, feeding 5 adults with left overs! We will definitely be back when were in town!

Traditional Chinese food with a large menu and nice staff.Since COVID-19, owners have remodeled the interior and menu twice.Each time the plates have gotten smaller and the sides have changed. In the past, with a meal you got a soup, egg roll and fried won ton with crab filling, but now those are separate dishes to add on to a meal.Even though the plates have gotten smaller, the portion size is enough to fill you up without being overly full.The flavor and authentic feeling are still their strongest qualities.Golden Dragon is still my primary Chinese restaurant preference since 2018.

Who doesnt love great Chinese food?! If you dont, then you need to try this place because they will change your opinion. The staff is so friendly and the food - oh its so good! If we dont dine-in, then we call ahead of time and order to-go - either way, we never have waited more than 10-15 minutes to have our order ready. And if all else fails, they deliver!Our family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children) order the Deluxe dinner for 2 and we all get at least 2 servings out of this dinner.My husband loves the Generals Chicken and I love their S/S PorkThis place has 3 TVs for your viewing pleasure and never play shows that are risqué or inappropriate for viewing which is nice.Our family loves coming here and recommend to everyone! Its now a favorite for a number of my coworkers who live in the area as well.

Use to be our favorite Chinese food in Elk Grove but the last time we were there the menu had changed and I wondered if the restaurant maybe has changed ownership. Loved their old Chef Specials but found they were no longer available. I like to have the food delivered in the order it is ordered- soup, appetizer, main dishes however here all is plunked down on the table at the same time so be sure to tell them if you dont want everything served at once. Would love to see the Green Bean with Shrimp Chefs Special back on the menu. Avoid the appetizer of crab puffs as they are overpowered with cream cheese and couldnt taste any crab.

Our entrees came out one at a time with the last delivered after the bill while I was boxing to leave. I had to remind our server we ordered it. The orange chicken was almost all breading. The Kung pao noodles were so spicy they were virtually inedible and I can handle hot. We asked 3 people for water before someone finally brought it while my husband mouth was on fire the whole time. We will not be going here again.

Went in to try the place. Place had one occupied table and the waitress was so focused on the conversation she did not turn to look at who entered the restaurant even after another person entered. Door had a bell. Could hear people in the kitchen however no one looked out. There must have been at least four tvs all on. Very noisy. After waiting about 5 minutes left.

Yum! My favorite dish here is probably salt and pepper prawns. It is delightful! Lightly breaded, with lightly cooked slices of onion and deseeded jalapeños. Oh, yum. Their salt and pepper tofu is good, too--I tried to take an order home and wound up eating it like popcorn on the drive home (it smelled so good that I couldnt resist). Chow fun, green beans in garlic sauce, oh, so many good things to eat here. Keep in mind, I grew up on Chinese food (grew up in Hawaii, live in a Chinese town), so I am picky. The one k8nd of weird thing is they dont have a pork section on the menu; the only pork Ive seen is char siu. I do recommend this restaurant. On the evening we went, it was not at all crowded (lots of take out, though), everyone was masked (except when eating), and social distancing was stringently observed.

Today (12/02/2020) my wife ordered lunch through Door Dash since we couldn’t dine in. While it is convenient to have food delivered right to your doorstep, but to get a container full of onions sautéed in oil, salt and soy sauce is an absolute disgrace to the cuisine itself, ripping of customers, and pathetic for the restaurant to take advantage of customers during this time.It was her first time ordering food from this restaurant, and it will definitely be the last time. If we wanted to eat onions, instead of what should’ve been Mongolian chicken, we could’ve gotten a 3lbs bag from Walmart for $1.64 instead of paying $20 at this restaurant.Last, I have photograph of the sad looking, money ripping, disgraceful dish.Thanks!

Here is my experience here and why the two star. I like to make my orders clear and I repeat so people make sure not to mess up. So my first time here and they messed up my Kung pao noodles by forgetting to put shrimp. Second the won ton soup here is really plain. And the wonton ball literally has no flavor when you take a bite into it. But I will give credit to the noodles being cook well and with the kick of spice that others don’t bring. So basically my issue is forgetting simple orders and then the really Blan soup. Oh did I mention to say eye lash on the won ton ball when I swooped out and reached for the won ton smh.
