The restaurant is looking better the restrooms are Clean. I am having some fried rice and egg drop soup is very good here. 3 Stars only because the closing it makes no sense to me. They keep up with the daily grind and if dont watch out. The health department is locking the door.Good luck to management they lost money they can never recover . Good Luck To the Golden Dragon. I used to go here all the time when I was a kid. Loved it. Now? Overpriced terrible food, small portions and the INSUFFERABLE lady at the front desk made certain that I will NEVER go there again. Its a shame, place used to be good. Do not go this place.
The quality of the food was excellent and the price-per-portion-size ratio was fair. But the rude woman who took our order over the phone and who served us when we came to pick it up is going to put this place out of business. Its almost as if she was actively trying to make me change my mind about eating there.
The food was decent. We ordered ahead and picked up to go but the inside of the restaurant looked very nice. I would take a pass on the fried rice, not very flavorful. The sweet and sour chicken was very good, but the egg rolls were more like spring rolls. If I tried again, I would try all different foods to gage the food a bit better.
Went after church a few weeks ago. Worse experience ever! The fried rice was NOT fried. It was plain sticky rice and the chicken on top was NOT fried chicken, more like boiled chicken still white in color.I mentioned it to the wait person who gave excuses about shipment from outside restaurant and I was shocked that food was not cooked (fried together) in their own kitchen. No discount of food was offered and it was lousy food. Have been to this restaurant many times in the past and never was served food this terrible. Heard they have new owners, which is probably the problem. Will stay away until they have new new owners!!!
This place was absolutely disgusting, messy carpets and tables. Our waitress didnt greet us, just sat two glasses of water on the table and walked away. The glasses were greasy, there was a lipstick print on the rim of my glass, dried rice stuck in between the spikes of my fork, and the place reeked of cat urine. Service was terrible, we left before even ordering food. If it were possible to give zero stars thats what i would give this restaurant.
Ordered vegetarian fried rice on door dash and they sent me shrimp fried rice. Got a refund and asked for vegetarian fried rice again. They sent me vegetarian fried rice but there was pork at the bottom. Called to inform them, they told me to just go to another restaurant next time to be safe. So ya...if youre reading this, go to another restaurant, just to be safe.
The food was wonderful! That atmosphere and service was cheerful. I only gave it 4 stars because it the floors tables and bathroom could have been cleaner. However, it was late in the evening and I will try it again.
Ive been coming here for every birthday since I was 3. Ive spent a long time eating there. Its the only place in town I go out to eat at. Its always the same people working there, its friendly and comfortable.
Golden Dragon, a Woodland staple going down hill fast! The only polite servers are the older server lady and the Spanish speaking guy. Everybody else is just plain rude! Today we ordered appetizers that came out after they served our dinner so, on top of being rude, they also ought to learn to serve food. I would give it less stars as the food is good but, actually not as good as when the previous owners were here. Im not sure Ill be going back.....
Take out takes forever. Even when you call ahead they dont make it until you arrive. Prices are getting ridiculous as well. Food is always great.
Dont order duck. Paid 20 dollars for duck and received almost nothing but bone. Super dry and shriveled up. Boyfriend says it is the driest duck he has ever seen in his life. It looks like someone ate half the order. We spent over $70 on an order. We received maybe 30 dollars worth of food?? The rest of the food was okay, but we feel scammed. Wish we could have our money back.
Whenever Im in the area I come here. I love their won ton soup and always order extra to bring home. Prices are pretty good--not the cheapest, but decent. The service can be a bit brisk, but Ive been here often enough that they know who I am and ask how Im doing.
Cant give it a negative 1 for service and atmosphere. Clumped all the patrons in 1 corner of the restaurant. The man in the booth next to us went off on our child for moving and bumping his seat. My kid was afraid to move for the rest of the meal. Lady on the other side was so loud we couldnt hold our own conversation. Waitress was very rude and did not want to repeat herself even though she had a heavy accent and was hard to understand. Food was meh. Not a fun family outing.
You cant go wrong with the food here. Everything was served fresh promptly after ordering. All of the staff was friendly and the food was delicious. I recommend this place for lunch or even larger groups (15-20 people), as they have a separate banquet room.
WOW! My wife and I ordered the Hot and Sour soup to start. We were served a HUGE bowl and were given 2 smaller bowls which the server filled for us at our table. Then I ordered the Cherry Pork and Vegetable Lo Mein noodles. My wife ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork. We were served very large portions of each. We couldnt even come close to finishing it all. Our entire bill with 2 sodas was around $30. It was the best Chinese food weve ever had! The Cherry Pork was something new to us and it was outstanding. If we lived here, we would visit regularly!
Customer service is lacking. 54 on food and they gave us 1 packed of soy sauce and wanted to charge us for more. Some of the food tastes reheated. They Just didnt do very well.
The dishes have too much soy sauce. Too salty so with that too much msg. The water is good though. I drank like 3 cups due to msg trust me. Oh there was hair in my dish. I ask waiter no give me another one nicely not to be rude. Probably will try other place though.
Its alright . Nothing to special . Foods good but definitely not the greatest. The saff is really nice and always refilling your water glasses and asking if everythings fine. I give theyre service a 5 star..ITS DEFIANTLY WAAY BETER THAN The restaurant China smorgi theyre food doesnt have that much flavor or very bland..and the chow mein is always have some noodles undercook! Really gross.
We went here frequently a few years ago. Everything we tried in about 15 or 20 visits was superior to other Chinese places we have been here and anywhere else. The Generals Chicken was to die for. We started with the hot and sour soup, which you will like if you like it spicey. There were so many choices on the menu that it can set your head spinning in trying to order. I am writing this in Sept. 2018 and will update if I ever go back.
Golden dragon restaurant is in the shopping center very close to Raleys Supermarket. I ordered the House Chow Mein, it was prepared very quickly. The food was good, and it should be; the restaurant has been here for quite some time. The other Chinese restaurant, Treasure Dragon has gone out of business, but it was across town in the other direction, anyway.This restaurant is clean and has a restroom that you can use. You can get take out here, also. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot, although you may have to walk a few feet to get to the restaurant. Handicapped parking is also available but not sure how many spaces are available for handicapped persons.They have an extensive menu, and Im sure you can find something on the menu that you would enjoy.
Staff is friendly, food is good and affordable. Not only that but it was the quickest I ever got my food! who wouldnt love that? Also its the first fried rice Ive EVER liked!
Always prefer going here for Chinese. The food is always yummy and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Big parties or going by myself, its always perfect. Their takeout is quick and bagged up tight. I would highly recommend the Golden Dragon and do.

This is a popular Chinese restaurant with good reason; the quality of the food is quite good and the prices fair so it is a good value. Booth seating in a darkened retail space is comfortable and convenient but not special. Service is very fast but also brusk. Recommended.
Aside from getting shut down a week ago, this place not only has rat droppings, cockroaches, and filth but poor customer service as well. I had ordered over the phone for 2 items during my lunch break and made the mistake of mixing the restaurant with the Treasure Dragon in town. As soon a I realized the mistake (10 mins later) I called and apologized saying I couldn’t make it since I was on lunch and on the opposite side of town. I was told rudely to never call back and order from there again. I now take back my apology. Dump the food for the rats and cockroaches. They need to eat too!
Im here once a month and the food never dissapoints. The decor is nice and contemporary and one of the wait staff is always chipper and funny. The food is what brings me here, for something spicy i recommend mongolian chicken or beef. For a sweet dish i like the sesame chicken.

Food is good Ive been going there for the past 20 something years when 1st owner Mike was alive good service great price for plate amount/ now is too expensive smaller plates bad service new owner always in bad mood she even charges.50 cents for each sweet & sour sauce when you are spending 70-80$ & order food that actually comes w the sauce like the fry wontons we use to dine in at least 2 times a month now its only 1 time every once in a while
Nice atmosphere. Not to bright but not dimly lit either. Friendly staff, great food. The szechuan and curry here are great. Also the cream cheese won-tons are a must.
I order pick up yesterday when i picked up my order i asked for hot sauce and the lady said theres already sauce in there so when i got to work and ate my food there was no hot sauce. Front desk lady was ignorant and the food wasnt even good.

June 1 went in brought my family in at 6:00 they close at 7 it seem like they were in a hurry to get us out of there ...didn’t enjoy food and to top that the food did not taste fresh either seems like they reheated it we order our food and it didn’t take no longer then 2-3 mins when the food was already at the table we left our food there didn’t even eat half of it we got two of the dinner specials and egg rolls total came out to 58 dollars totally unsatisfied i usually don’t write review but I don’t want you guy to make the same mistake we made
Good quality Chinese food and very fast service. This is basically the best Chinese in town so be prepared to wait if you go on a Friday night or the weekend.
Its scrumptuous family-style chinese cuisine. The owners are very nice and friendly and they memorize your orders if youre a regular.

2022-08-10 02:11:05I ordered through Uber eats. I received pork with mushrooms instead of beef with mushrooms. I asked for no peas or carrots in rice and got peas and carrots in my rice. They did not provide chopsticks or utensils as requested. No hot mustard either.

2023-03-23 19:39:26Ordered orange chicken and general chicken, both with $2 extra veggies option. In the general chicken I got a total of 3(!) pieces of very very very salty broccoli, and probably 6/7 small pieces of celery and two pieces of thin carrot. (I would hate to see what the normal vegetable haul is!). Now on to the chicken, general chicken was ordered hot (which is was not) I think the only difference was 4 pieces of chili peppers that were not even a little spicy, general sauce was way too sweet as well. Orange crispy chicken had no taste or orange (absolutely none!) and the chicken was not crispy, soggy at best. Both chicken orders were the typical breaded chicken but the quality of the meat to bread was not good, gave it that soggy gross texture that too many places have in our area. We will not go there again.

A different worker called me back and called me a “bitch” over the phone because I no longer wanted my order since they didn’t even let me finish ordering. I am in shock after this experience, no matter what the situation is that is not how you treat a customer.

Incredibly unprofessional attitude and lack of compassion nor reasonable explanation !!!! I had a friend of mine order FOUR combination plates and it happened she asked me to go pick up(she placed her order with her phone number) when I walked in and very rude older absurd looking woman asked me the phone number and that placed order, I mistakenly started to give her MY NUMBER not the one my friend placed because it was infact her order. She immediately started getting verbally harassing me while kicking me out the restaurant for ever!!!! I MEAN ARE YOU SERIOUS OVER TWO COMBINATION plates !!!!?!?!!??EFF your entire business and learn some friggen management etiquette!!!

We ordered several dishes to share family style and they were all delicious! Fresh and hot, spiced just right. We love Golden Dragon and they did not disappoint.

I received notifications of confirmation that the order went through, and when my Dasher arrived and that they were running late because they were waiting on the restaurant. 15 minutes later, I was notified that my order was cancelled with no explanation. When I tried to call the restaurant (at 6:42 pm) to see if I could pick my order up myself, or at least understand why it was cancelled, they answered long enough to say Hello, were closed now. and hang up on me. I understand that things happen, and when the clock ends people want to go home, but if youre just going to pick up the phone to hang up on someone, why pick up at all?? I cant say Im very excited about ordering from here again, and I probably wont be recommending them because of this experience.
