Golden Dragon Restaurant in Los Angeles

I was in town to find some Chinese food and oh boy did I find the spot! Kung pao chicken with no peanuts and steam rice. The portions were huge! This was during lunch. Atmosphere was friendly and servers were nice as well. Bathrooms were clean as well. Check this place out if you are in the neighborhood and enjoy some amazing food.

Food was excellent. We ordered a variety of dimsum. So well prepared. The place was clean. We had it for breakfast. It was a great decision! Service was fast.

BEAUTIFUL artwork on the walls decorate this traditional dim sum restaurant! Very good typical dishes. A bit disappointed that the congee was served without additional cut green onions, but did have morsels of century eggs. Mango pudding was delicious. The place was packed on a Sunday with many larger parties and the staff was literally running around to service everyone. From the outside it looked deserted, but once you open the front doors to enter you can see that the place is happening. May be the best dim sum left in Chinatown. Restrooms were okay clean. Validated two hour parking in lot.

We were a bunch of Londoners craving dim sum in Chinatown and we ended up here. To be honest I dont understand the bad reviews. Everything was tasty and on point. Service was fast and efficient. One dish was cold, but we got a fresh one soon after.

The food is excellent here especially dim sums. The service is on the slower side. Took away the carts. Now its by trays or by paper order. Few carts swing by every once in a while. Prices went up crazy.

Good old fashioned Dim Sum. Free Parking is hard to find during peak hours but there is valet service. Service is decent the restaurant itself can use some updates. The food is decent and you order from the menu.

We decided to try out this restaurant after reading some positive reviews. However, my disappointment began as soon as we saw the sign outside.From my previous experiences, I had come to expect that all Hong Kong-style dim sum restaurants would exude an air of elegance and sophistication, but this one was situated in a run-down and outdated area, which fell short of my expectations.I felt that the service was perplexing, to say the least. I found it strange that different menus were provided to different tables, which became apparent when I noticed that the dishes brought to the table next to us were not listed in my menu.We ordered some dim sum dishes based on the limited selection provided on our menu. Unfortunately, they were much worse when compared to the offerings of other top-rated dim sum restaurants.I will not go to this restaurant in the future.

A classic Chinatown old n dirty with no frills dim sum and family style standards. I love a post Covid dim sum checklist where all your favs come at the same time and you don’t have to rubberneck carts wondering if the fried shrimp ball on bamboo skewers is coming around again. What I would give to have a place like this in Charlotte 😭🙌🏽

Large menu — but family style LARGE portions. Not particularly tasty. We ordered too much. Not good for couples — great for larger groups. Service not great — delivered fried rice before main courses and starters. Forgot one of our main courses (reminded waiters who brought it out a bit cold). Arrived at 8:30 pm (close 10pm) Dimsum not served (no problem). Lovely atmosphere and art work. Probably better earlier in the day? We got shrimp with lobster sauce (had black beans in it), potstickers (nice sauce for dipping but not amazing), vegetable fried rice (best part of dinner), Kong Po chicken (large chunks of green peppers and peabuts).

Came on a Saturday lunch. They have a parking lot with a valet which is free for 2 hours with validation. Greeted and seated right away, no wait. Overall the food we ordered were so tasty (price is very reasonable too!) Service was fast. Will definitely come back.
