Golden Phoenix in Suisun City

You dont get your monies worth here, over priced based on amount & taste of food. Food was not separated in containers. Frank and Yen, much better. And I had to ask for sauce. Its OK.

Food was great,definitely would go back again. We got kungpao tofu, family style green beans and crispy tofu. Unfortunately, there were no dine ins, chairs are up on tables and its take out only, which is a bummer, but they had a cool metal peacock in the entrance.

Everything I ordered was awful...I ordered the Mixed Appetizer, the Walnut Shrimp, and the Dinner for One. I ordered with Uber Eats, and my delivery was very quick.From the Appetizers:The Fried Chicken Wings tasted like catfood. No seasoning, no sauce, no breading. It is just a plain, frozen chicken wing, that was dumped straight into hot oil.The Crab Wontons are oddly shaped, soggy, and not very tasty at all.The Eggrolls are large, but it is barely stuffed, and contains the most basic ingredients. Not good.The Fried Shrimp is actually very good, I love the flavor. Unfortunately my order was also slightly burned, so although I enjoyed the shrimp, the aftertaste was that of burnt toast.From the Dinner:The Walnut Shrimp is the most bland Walnut Shrimp I have EVER tasted! The sauce is so runny, but they give you a lot, but the shrimp has so little flavor. It doesnt even taste like Im eating shrimp, it tastes like Im eating bland tofu with the consistency of shrimp.. literally 0 shrimp flavor... It astounds me that I could eat shrimp, and not taste any shrimp..The Orange Chicken is not crispy at all, but it is fairly tasty, until you get that frozen aftertaste that reminds you of catfood again..The chowmein is not the best... its disappointing that even the chowmein is a letdown.The fried rice is actually decent.. It tastes like it was fried in butter, and butter makes everything better.

Very please with our stop here! The restaraunt was very clean and relaxing. There is a nice waterfall in the entry-way that is soothing to listen to while eating. The staff was unbelievably friendly. So nice and quick to cater our needs. The opener is very proud of their restaraunt and definitely works their hardest keeping customers happy while serving quality food. We will stop by when we have a chance! Definitely a nice place to eat even with the large menu! Thanks Golden Phoenix!

Taste okay, beef is tender only some is bit chewy, overall not bad in such small town. nice seating and decorations inside. (Too bad no dine-in at the moment)

Update 11.30.2021.. Havent been here for a while. I will not be returning any time soon. There was no flavor to the beef and broccoli. There was broccoli that was cold. For $16+ it was not worth it.Food is good, just that I am cheap and dont want to pay for rice when it should come with the dish.

This is by far the best Chinese food restaurant in the area! The food is always hot and fresh and they give you generous amounts of food. Their take out is great! Always still got when I get home

Open for take out only, this restaurant can make other dishes that are not on their menu. The service is excellent, the waitress, Jessie is very friendly and the four course dinner was ready in ten minutes!

Good food for takeout. Restaurant is only open for take out. Weird smell inside. I think the are in the middle of a remodel. Food is still good.
