When you order carne asada the butcher will make you a fresh marinade with fresh oranges and limes and their custom blend of cumin, salt, pepper, and chile powder.The staff at the Gonzalez Meat Markey are friendly and it is apparent that care and thought are put into their offerings. Strong customer service and attention to detail make this little Carniceria a first-choice for meat and poultry and fresh produce.Give them a try. Its less crowded and theres more personalized service without all the standing in line.

I was looking for fresh kidney beans. They didnt have any. And I dont mean the ones in the can. I want to cook them myself. The store was not busy at all. I came by in the middle of a Friday. The store was really neat and clean. I will stop again if Im in need of any Mexican ingredients.

We have always wanted to get some meat from here and finally did on Friday, 5/24/2024. I dont know why we waited so long! We decided to get a variety so that we could pick our favorite. We got the carne asada, pollo asada, and al pastor meat - all seasoned, of course. They all had great flavor and would definitely get them again, but our favorite had to be the carne asada. Cant wait to get some more again soon.

This meat market department is the best!!!! They cut 1lb of ribeye to thinnest cut possible when other meat markets wouldnt or couldnt. Not even a butcher shop that doesnt even have a meat slicer! They did it no problem I enjoyed my copycat Yoshinoya beef bowl!

The place is always clean and well stocked. Love their meat counter.

I ordered two tortas one with out tomatoes for allergy reasons first one had more jalapeños then meat then the other one had tomatoes on it after I asked for them not to be put on sandwich, then I ordered a menudo no pata with harmony it took them 15 min to bring it out with a spoon only took another 10 min to bring tortillas and what comes with menudo then it had no harmony as asked for so took another 10 min to bring me a cup up cold hard harmony to put in my soup! Manager did replace the torta that’s about it! Service was so unprofessional the cashier/ server rolling her eyes and took her sweet time even another customer was on her about getting what we needed to even start eating….never again will we eat there! GET IT TOGETHER IF YOU GUYS WANT TO HAVE A SUCCESSFUL RESTAURANT!!

Excellent prepared asada! Pay extra and get the expensive stuff. Its awesome! And I always get the El Comal tortilla chips and the fresh made guacamole salsa. Its legit!

We stopped in for Tacos. We had the asada, pollo and pastor and they were all delicious! The salsas were yummy as well, and their mild salsa is actually mild, while the hot is spicy. We will come back for sure.

Nice spot that has everything you might need with no lines. Fresh and delicious meat! Veggies also very fresh!

This place is amazing! Relatively cheap and high quality cuts of meat!
