I don’t as here early Saturday morning and the long lines I heard about haven’t started yet. My pork sui mai was acceptable, nothing to write home about. The beef sui mai tasted a little artificial, doesn’t taste like beef?The dim sum is reasonable here, but not really that fresh or good?It is nice they have few ingredients bales in the back so you eat it there if you want. Also the bathroom is a bonus.

Tasty counter service dim sum spot that’s cash only. take the dishes to go or sit by the tables in the back. would recommend!- shrimp har gow: solid, well made- shrimp and chives dumpling: solid, well made- steamed bbq pork buns: highly recommended, they don’t skimp on filling- fried taro puffs: perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy inside- egg tart: so flaky and eggy

This place was pretty tasty my first time. I arrived with a couple friends and got seated quickly. I ordered a veggie fried rice and added shrimp, when the place arrived it had big shrimp. The flavoring was good. also ordered crab rangoons which were delicious. The place was good and I would go back for sure.

Pretty good dim sum!! Cash only. Long line up but it went by pretty fast.Ok, it is our first time being here. So, this is a FUNNY story.The sheet says 3 for $3.60. We assumed it would be select 3 items for $3.60. I wished the sheet made it more clear. Apparently, it’s 1 selection comes with 3 pieces. Clearly, we didn’t know. So, we ended up with so much food! This is something to watch out for if you’re new to this store. 😂 We ended up paying over $80 which is fine. We can finish it over the days and plus support Asian business

Alert! They’re now closed Mondays and tuesdays. My usual day was Monday but I’ll have to shift to Wednesdays. That way everything is super fresh! We love this take out place that has evolved over the decades. The staff has become more service focused and I even see non Chinese speakers order $ thousands of dollars worth of take out dimsum. It’s amazing what volume of business these food entrepreneurs crank out. We’re always impressed with the quality of the steamed dumplings, the tea leaf wrapped chicken and rice, many of the sweet items and the steamed pork buns. Their rice soup or Jook also is so soothing — it usually has a line but they’re pretty no nonsense and move the line. First thing to do is grab a pink menu and pencil on the counter then wait in line while you make your choices. Then you’ll be ready!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Friends parents would drive us from outside of sf just to hit this spot up. I come as an adult and appreciate them so much for making the best DIM SUM in the world.Shrimp and chive dim sum literally unmatched. Big and tasty. 100/10.Potstickers best in the west. Big and flavorful.Everything reasonably priced and BOMB.If you have someone picky in your group and they don’t want to go here for whatever reason…. Killer dumplings! Go to the bathroom and while you wait, watch the old dudes in the back banging out dumplings ALL DAY LONG. Pick up a menu, write down some numbers and roll the dice on lucky dumpling, give it to the lady behind the counter. You cant go wrong. Ive paid triple for dumplings half as good.Oh yeah, egg rolls kinda sucked for my palate, but everything else was so good, 6/5 FTW.

Hole in the wall dim-sum place that has best dim sum in SF hands downNo fancy dishes or silverware. Order in line from steam table and your food is plunked down on a plastic red tray covered with wax paper. A paper tray to hold the secret soy sauce to dip your dim sum and chow down with plastic forks or cheap disposable chopsticks.

This is a cash only place and you do not have to sit down and wait for dim sum carts! You order what you want from the ladies behind the counter.We ordered 5 different items and loved every single one of the items! Siu Mai, Har Gao, Turnip Cakes, Crystal Dumpling, and Char Siu Bao.Theyre good quality aaaand the service is fast. You do have to know what you want to order so youre not holding up the line. They have pink menus inside the store by their door, so if its your first time visiting, make sure to grab a menu and fall in line, so you can figure out what they selling.They got sit down tables inside but everyone mostly take their dimsum to go, which I would really prefer.Cheap dim sum and good quality! I love a bargain, so I recommend this spot, especially if youve been spending so much during your vacation here.

Good luck is inexpensive and delicious. There can be a long line but its worth waiting. Unfortunately this is not a great place to dine in, its a drafty and dirty environment. Many people consider this to be one of the best places for dim sum pick up. It is a great value.

Found this small little dim sum place based on recommendations from locals on Reddit and we were very happy we found it!They have a small order form you can fill out while waiting in line, which helps speed up the ordering process and avoids any miss communication between the customer and staff. The staff was very friendly, but we didnt have to interact much which due to the ordering sheet. Everything we ordered was delicious! You can see our order sheet in the attached picture. The BBQ pork buns were a bit more on the sweet side that I would like personally, but delicious nonetheless.The seating space inside is a little tight, so we got our order to go and walked a few blocks north into the park and enjoyed our delicious lunch on bench.Overall we were very pleased and found the prices very affordable. We will certainly be back next time we are back in town.Note - this place is cash only!

It’s cheap but I thought it would be good cause the ratings were good but I was wrong. BBQ pork buns were ok, but the filling was super slimy and sweet! Thought they gave me something else but it was bbq pork! Other dim sum places that sell this bun isn’t usually sweet so I thought that was weird 🤷🏻‍♀️

Be advised you do need to pay in CASH. If you don’t have cash, there’s an atm down the street. Anywho, we drove 6 hours down to get this food. No lie, this place is worth the drive and calories. You know it’s going to be Great when you see a line out the door-It’s super affordable especially for Bay Area prices. Has the classic pink boxes: bao, shu mai, har gow. Found this spot on IG through somebodys recommendation on there. This place is cash only. This is a must stop if you love dumplings and steamed buns but they do have many options to choose from. We ordered 2 orders of shrimp dumplings, 1 order of shark fin dumplings, 1 order of deep fried shrimp dumplings, 2 orders of pot stickers, 1 order of steamed bbq pork buns, 1 order of steamed chicken buns, and a chicken and sausage rice ball I guess. Everything was so good and awesome price. From what their menu shows online, their prices are now 3 for $3, but still awesome as we only spent like $29 in everything we ordered. Made a 2nd visit in December, still as delicious. Below is what we bought and an updated flyer from them.

The price is good for sure, but their service accuracy suck! Because we circled the shrimp dumplings in our pink order slip, but the server did NOT pick the food for us, and she even charged on us. Absolutely awful deep-fried pork/water chestnut balls are now completely devoid of the only reason theyre good- the filling. I literally tasted ONE miniscule sliver of water chestnut in THREE of these.There was also literally almost no pork whatsoever.Place is a victim of its own success. Just terrible compared to what I remember from 30,20,10,5, even 3 years ago.Youre way better off going to other nearby places. Just go very early so the food is still hot and fresh.

This is probably one of the best small locations for dim sum in the whole area. My family literally comes here once every two weeks. I highly recommend the pork siumai. It is incredibly meaty compared to other locations. The har gow (shrimp dumpling) is also very good here. My go-to order also includes their pan-fried shrimp and chive dumpling and lots of pork buns (both BBQ and steamed c: )Parking is hard to find here. I cant legally recommend double parking, but its pretty common here. We just find parking on Clement somewhere and go around the whole area!It also helps to order ahead by phone. There is usually a pretty long line there.

Very tasty dumplings in the Richmond district. The earlier you get there the better as the food is most fresh and delectable. The shrimp dumpling is best, pot stickers are a close second, the big shrimp and chiva dumpling near the window are quite good (not the small steamed ones..stay away from those). This might be a little exotic for some but try the chicken feet...pure fat and tasty. Dont deviate to much. The pork and beef dumplings are very good as well. What more can I say. Try it. You can probably skip the dine-in experience. Youll probably stick to the tables and its really not nice.

Basically, your dim sum experience here will depend highly on if they’ve just brought out fresh things.The first time I came here everything was super fresh and delicious. The shrimp dumplings were very full of shrimp and the skin was very thin and QQ. Baked pork bun also very good, warm, and fresh!Second time I came here around 1 pm on a weekday - everything was cold and not fresh. Cold dim sim is horrible - it would only have tasted good if I took it home and re-steamed the dumplings. The egg custard tart was also cold and not fresh.

It’s a long queue during the weekend. Since it’s mostly a take out system, the customer turn over rate is pretty high. So, the wait wasn’t that long. Note that this place is CASH ONLY. There’s a Walgreens with an ATM across the street if you need cash last minute. I brought my own container for the take out, as I didn’t want to use the single-use plastic container.Some of the food is not visible because is covered by the dim sum basket. There’s a pink menu and pencils on the right side of the entrance. I strongly recommend to circle the food you want beforehand, in order to avoid the pressure for ordering quickly. Or just think about what you want ahead from the menu I uploaded.Love their fried sesame ball, shrimp dumpling, beef siu mai, steamed bbq pork bun, and custard. Their sweet rice chicken wrapped with lotus leaves were okay. It was mostly rice instead of 1/3 meat and vegetables. Most of their food taste authentic. Definitely recommend this place!

Be warned though, they do run out very quickly so if you dont get here early in the morning, you wont be able to try them. The food is all delicious and the prices are great. Unless youre planning to go to Hong Kong anytime soon, this is probably as good as youre going to get. Cash only dim sum take out that has my favorite sui mai on Clement St. Its super inexpensive and generously portioned. Everything is good - the buns, the dumplings the ribs, and even the congee. The sesame balls have always been warm and huge.There are a couple of tables that used to be available before the pandemic, but they are closed now. You will probably want to eat the dim sum pretty quick so look for one of the small - or huge - parks nearby to enjoy your feast.

Never had or even heard of dim sum before someone recommended this place to me. I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. It’s quick and easy to order. All the food is takeaway and you can only pay with cash which makes the process go that much faster. One thing to note is that nothing is labeled so you don’t have any idea what you are getting if you are unfamiliar with it.

So Im a bit of a dim sum snob (guilty). I grew up on Clement Street so Ive had my fair share of dim sum but this place always stands out. It has the best shrimp dumplings and porridge! Its cheap, fast, and everyone speaks English (and you can understand it). Dont be afraid of the long lines as it moves fast. Its a bit of a dive and there isnt much seating but take your food to Mountain Lake park (just a 2-3 blocks away) and enjoy a picnic!

Grab a menu and have a handy pen ready to mark what youll want, though note that sometimes they run out of stuff early and some items arent on the menu, such as baked BBQ pork buns, even though they have it. The dim sum is generous in size and cheap, with each piece 65¢-90¢ or 3 for $1.65. They do have a couple of tables in the back, but as with other hole-in-the-wall places, the tables are sticky.
