2023-06-07 23:21:51Truly an incredible experience. The chef told us that fresh fish is flown in from Japan three times a week and the quality shows why. Omakase is a must have and you’ll be presented with some of the most beautiful dishes you can imagine: the tuna quartet was unbelievable and the baby shrimp was some of the best I’ve had. The price is no joke ($250 pp if you drink) but if you’re looking for the best LA has to offer by way of sushi, this is worth it. Along with Brothers in Woodland Hills, this is the best sushi I’ve had in the US.

2023-07-12 02:23:48Very special place. They are very passionate about finding the best fish in the world. Tried some very rare and special cuts of fish that you don’t see at sushi park, sasabune etc. Very expensive.

2022-03-27 17:15:36Reason for visiting: celebrate my new job (what what 🙌)Date/time of visit: Friday night, ~6:30 PMParking: in the shared lot with other businesses; freeParty size: 5 (2 kids)Environment/ambience: entrance is non-descript; only a green sign that says Sushi in front 😀, next to Papa Johns. Once inside, its pretty empty and looks like a market when you walk in; it used to be a seafood market but converted into a small restaurant. No decorations or anything fancy. No TVs, etc; just a small sushi bar. Prob not a good place for kids but Go and the staff do try to accommodateService: was great. Sat at the bar, Go was serving/hosting and he was great. Other staff was friendly tooFood: great! We did Omakase so Go chose everything for us and it was fantastic. Every dish was great, except maybe the grilled bamboo. It was good, just not my thing.Cost: bill came out to $875, without tip.

2022-07-01 21:06:03Absolutely incredible. The best sushi I’ve had outside of Japan. Was shocked by the price ($450 for a two person omakase), but the quality was there and the experience was truly special.

2021-06-06 14:40:32BEST BIRTHDAY DINNER EVER! The best sushi that I have ever eaten, anywhere in the United States and anywhere in the world. It’s listed in the top places to eat sushi in the greater Los Angeles area, but I’ve eaten sushi all over and I have yet to be anywhere where it’s as good is this place.

2021-04-17 23:46:06Remarkable! I wish I couldve kept going. The sushi was so fresh and well prepared! I definitely enjoyed the experience. Also disclaim be sure to be careful when you want to do the Omakase your pocket will feel it. However, it is well worth it!

2023-09-05 18:58:04I have been to this place a number of times and it never fails to deliver the best sushi in Los Angeles. Don’t be fooled by the aesthetic of this place, it is exact opposite of the food. A unique experience that I would recommend to anyone.

2020-10-20 10:47:29HANDS DOWN THE BEST SUSHI I HAVE EVER EATEN!! EVER! Amazing! Incredible! Over-The-Top! Out-Of-This-World!! No menu, just what this amazingly skilled Japanese Chef wants to make. Just keep in mind that dinner for two ranges between $300-$400.

2017-12-22 20:57:00This is my favorite sushi in LA and Ive been to all the big ones. Very unique flavor and technique. Probably the freshest fish out there in LA and just so tasty. If this wasnt so far away I would definitely come here more often. Be prepared to pay for the quality.

2022-12-08 23:42:21Gos Mart is my favorite sushi bar ever. I used to come here for years before the pandemic. This is not the type of sushi establishment to order a Philadelphia roll. Go’s Mart is for serious omakase sushi fans. We’ve eaten sushi for more than 30 years in LA and Go’s Mart is absolutely at the top of our list. I highly suggest ordering the omakase but if I was ordering individually my favorites are the hairy crab sushi, ankimo sashimi, Hokkaido scallop sushi, Hokkaido uni…and I could just keep on writing everything on the menu. The restaurant is fabulous. IYKYK
