Excellent food, good portions, some dishes have choice of SM or Lg, decent price in LA area; polite and attentive staff, clean and nicely decorated although area is small. Happy to visit again when in vicinity.

I think Ive had enough Chinese food in my life but my wife and I thought the food was average at best, but perhaps your experience may vary depending on the dish. I ordered a take out on Christmas day from a recommendation by my friend who really loves this place. Perhaps because it was on Christmas, they were very busy and food wasnt ready for pickup and I waited about 20 min longer, which was fine.While waiting, Ive seen many people go in and out and there was a DoorDash driver who came to pickup food, but the restaurant workers kept saying they closed orders from DoorDash so they dont have any orders. But the delivery lady kept showing on her phone and they were all clueless and helpless. One suggestion is to only open one food fulfillment service at a time. Because they do multiple such as ChowNow, GrubHub, etc and they close orders based on busyness, it makes customers try multiple options and can go through issues like that one customers delivery order. But according to the restaurant staff, apparently people order for days in advance!About the food, the fried noodle dish I got had a lot of hope from me, but the noodle wasnt tasty compared to many others Ive had. Dim sum dishes tasted overpowered by the soy sauce flavor and my wife longed for ones from Hong Kong. The rice dish was good. In all, we spent a little under $50 for three dishes from lunch menu, close to an hour spent on driving and waiting, etc. Perhaps I shouldve tried some of the common dishes like orange chicken or kung pao chicken or something, but its great that they serve so many kinds of dishes for all to enjoy. YMMV, Ill just have to try again next time!

Wow! Stopped in while I waited for the bus, so glad I did. I got the Singapore Shrimp and Orange Chicken. The shrimp dish was a first for me and I completely loved it! Its taste is distinct and the portion was so filling. The noodles were perfect. The shrimp was abundant and succulent. The chicken was meaty, crispy and glazed to amaze.Really friendly staff, too.

Best Chinese food in the valley. Not usually a huge fan of chinese cause it makes you feel more hungry or even just tired after.This is quality food with a quality taste. Lots of flavor and great feeling after I ate it. I didn’t leave hungry.

First time there, my old place closed down and the new one that took its place raised the prices significantly so we changed to Gourmet Palace and couldnt be happier . We had Hot and Sour soup, Mongolian Beef and Chicken with Broccoli ( asked for not spicy version) all were super excellent tasting . The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is our new first choice and only a half mile further away than the old place!

I was holding out hope you wouldnt ask me this. I got extremely sick off their Chicken Chow Mein. I knew after the first couple bites that it didnt taste right but I was hungry and thought it was just me and would get better. But it got worse. Oh about 2 hours after I ate I started throwing up violently non stop along with diarrhea. This lasted for 2 days. I couldnt come to work. I will never ever go back.

Food is real good but I probably shouldn’t eat there for dietary reasons. Ordered take out for Christmas Eve. Longest wait for any food place I’ve ever been to. They didn’t even have dine in and had to turn off their phones because it was overwhelming. Other than that I gave them a nice tip. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.

Ordered cream cheese wonton and orange ck.Cream cheese wontons were not crispy, they were not hot, and they were hard like cardboard. 2/10Orange ck was okay, not a lot of flavor. 6/10Saw all these reviews and was excited to try but now i wish i didn’t waste my money. Sorry to leave a bad review but check on your cooks, and serve fresh food

We love the quality of the food which is much fresher than typical Chinese restaurants. Last night we ordered a large salad, garlic chicken, and tofu vegetables. All were fresh, cooked tender, tasty at reasonable prices. The portions are generous for leftovers. Our local go to for Chinese food—home delivered or eat in.

Love this place! It is hard to find good food in the Valley but this one is the exception. I used to go and eat at Chinatown in L.A., and this food compares to it on everything: Flavor, presentation etc. I have tried the chicken fried rice, shu-mai (yes! just like in Chinatown), Garden Shrimp, plus other dishes....so far no disappointments.

I absolutely LOVE their candied Walnut Shrimp, KungPow chicken with peanuts and red Peppers…and their egg fried rice. And they are so nice and deliver quickly and their prices are between $ and $$. Some speciality dishes are a bit more. But, so worth it. The Chow Main was also delicious. And my last but not least my other favorite dish is the Sweet and Sour chicken with pineapple. If a Chinese restaurant can nail this one you know you got a good one. It came out perfectly fried, lightly with not too much breading nor oily, and had great quality chicken which was moist and tender. But, I do have to say ONE thing that if you need less salt/sodium ask them to make it so. Because, I prefer it that way myself. But, definitely give it a try!!

We ordered yesterday for delivery, the Lo mein were by far the worst Ive had in my life, they had a burned taste, and the smell wasnt pleasant. The sweet and pungent chicken was very chewy and the flavor wasnt really there. Nice pieces of pork in the fried rice. Im giving 3 starts because they delivered quite fast. Not ordering again.

This has become our go-to Chinese restaurant as of late. While there are others in the area, were pretty happy overall and arent eyeing anyone else when we crave Chinese.The portions are large, family style large and everything tastes good, prices are reasonable, service is friendly and never far away.The biggest knock and its unfortunate because it isnt against the restaurant, people or food but its location, parking space is limited but at worse you can park at the Ralphs across the street and walk over which weve done before.Otherwise if you live in the area or just passing through with a craving for Chinese food, you can do a lot worse than Gourmet Palace. Do make sure youre hungry, otherwise youre guaranteed to have leftovers to take home.

Their food is really good, but they dont always deliver everything youve ordered and paid for. And in one case, after delivering our food 80 minutes early, they turned off Grubhub so when Grubhub tried to get a new order in for the missing items, the restaurant refused the order.

The food was great! Every dish we had was good. The service, however, was abysmal. It seemed like they were slammed and just couldnt get food out fast enough. We saw tables seated after us get served first, and food took just so long to arrive. I look forward to going back, and hope this was just a fluke in the kitchen

Very kind of them to let us in even with a small dog. Very nice restaurant itself. Could even qualify if in B.H. as upscaled but with out B.Hills prices. Grateful it is in our own backyard! It graces our neighborhood.

Was very hopeful with the great rating, but sadly disappointed. Kung pao chicken was ok, orange chicken wasn’t crispy or tangy. Egg rolls had decent flavor but were huge! Garlic chicken also wasn’t good. At least the guy who answers the phone was very nice and helpful.

This is my personal favorite Chinese spot in the valley. Their plates are big and reasonably priced. Their dishes are not smother in oil and they even serve you little wonton strips before your food comes. The staff is incredibly nice and always fill up waters and ask how everything is going. I highly recommend their wonton soup as well as their mongolian beef.

One thing that made me extremely upbeat was not just the administration, our server was actually the best, inviting and mindful, however omg the parts! You get an extraordinary sum at an incredible cost ! The chow fun had a ton of flavor and was new w/fresh veggies to add to it! Considering the east and west valley dont have many good chinese restaurants, this place is actually pretty good. i used to go to green apple but too often nowadays they are nowhere near as good as they used to be..u will often find old, rotting broccoli in ur dishes...the walnut shrimp comes all watery and gross... so i was very happy to find this gourmet palace...their menus are very similar with same dishes, the price is a little cheaper here at gourmet but most importantly, the food is fresher and tasty every time...ive ordered 5 times from here and hav been very satisfied every time.. highly recommend this place

This is a good chinese spot in the valley. Interior clean and so is the food. The steamed dumplings and orange chicken are my favorite. Parking can be difficult. Theres a martial arts place next door w kid classes.
