Ate at Grams for the first time. My friend chose this place to dine at. I’m usually a creature of habit and stick to my go to favorite KBBQ joints: Zip in Tustin, or Shik Do Rak. I was pleased with the dining experience here. Food quality and choices of meat options were great based on the menu set options. We went with the Premium AYCE B menu. It was good. My favorites were the sliced beef belly, sliced brisket, and sliced beef tongue. Servers were nice and attentive. Will be returning to Grams in the future.

The meat here is very decent for the price. So I think this restaurant is a good value.The only downside is you never want to order anything you cannot finish or they will charge you extra for each plate. Even if it is just one plate so be mindful.I recommend the beef short ribs (pictured). Best quality on the menu.Make a reservation if you can because this place is popular.

We did the premium AYCE for $59. The meats were definitely tender, but a little too fatty for me. The variety of meats is what makes this place stand out. They have options like intestines and heart. Service could have been a little better (more frequent grill changes).

We very much liked this all you can eat Korean BBQ establishment. Good service from the moment we walked in. Grill placement on the table was optimal. Grill change without having to ask for one was something that isnt done often at other bbq places so points for that. Food items fresh. Plenty of tables & seats. Im not sure how the parking can be as we went on a Monday evening right when they opened up and parking was abundant.

Good food, decent service. Great selection of meats including offal. The few available banchan were great. Nice kimchi and potato salad especially. All the meats/sides we had were delicious and fresh and the place was clean. Great ventilation and the servers were good about changing our grill tops.It seemed like they were missing a lot of things that youd expect at a KBBQ. There were no ssam lettuce wraps or lemon, both of which would have gone great with the beef tongue and soju.The only two options when we went were 2hr AYCE (all you can eat) so those with small appetites that take one hour or less to satisfy cant get a good value. We would have liked a set amount of food and/or the ability to order a la carte.Overall Id rate this as perfectly average KBBQ. Go here if you have a big appetite. Non AYCE options and ssam lettuce wraps would make this above average for me. A few other tweaks would make this place exceptional.

Service here was amazing, the staff kept refilling the sides unprompted and quickly. Since this is a small place, you feel the staff is more attentive and nearby at all times. The food quality was great; Id for sure recommend it. Just try to block your table online since the waits can be long.

I was here yesterday. My friend joined in the waitlist and it said check in with host at 8:16 . We arrived at 8:07 PM, came in to check in and the host said that there will be an hour and half to wait. Seriously????, so what is the point of join in wait list? . The host who has long black hair with left full arm tattoo was so aggressive to us, very rude and unprofessional. I know the restaurant was so busy but i shouldn’t get that attitude from her. To be honest, I came here a lot and always with a large party. This will be the last time I came here because of her. Please train your staff again . This is unacceptable.

Poor quality meats and charges $10.99/plate of unfinished meats. My wife and I dont like to waste food but was charged extra $22 for not finishing a plate of 2 pieces of large intestines and a plate of 6 slices of beef top chop that tasted spoiled, even after I politely informed the waitress of the issue. If you go here be ready to risk food poison and finish all poor quality meats u ordered or u will pay extra

Great meat quality. Came around 3pm on Saturday and didn’t need to wait at all. Their corn cheese was the besttt!! We chose combo B for 3 people, which was enough to keep us full. Friendly servers, they changed the grill for you after 1-2 times.

Went at about 3PM on saturday. Wait time was expected for Kbbq, place is smaller joint. Service was awesome. They have unique items and do have 5 item limit per order. Their brisket definitely a win. I really like their unique items, especially their egg pudding, jowl, and large intestine. Would recommend to skip the picanha and dry age ones, nothing too special.

Quality meat is why you should go to Grams. I dont really care for their seasoning or sides as its on the sweeter side. Had the Woode galbi and it was sooo good and worth it, but be warned, you should only have one round as it gets too fatty and I got sick of it.

They are currently open for dine in. They keep a good amount of space in between tables used for customers that are dining in. I was able to join their waitlist on Yelp. They offer a $30 all you can eat menu with a variety of options. I saw some mouth watering pictures of meat with really nice marbling on Yelp but I did not see such beautiful marbling at the restaurant. Although the quality of their all you can eat meats werent as good as I hoped, their service was great. They came around often to ask if we needed anything such as a grill change, more meat or sides, etc. My personal favorite was the marinated LA galbi. The seafood soft tofu soup we got was way too salty. Their white rice and their garlic rice were dry. Everything else was good but not as good as the pictures made it seem to be. Unfortunately, it does not make my list of go to KBBQ spots. But shout out to the servers and their good service.

Went today for our first time around 1pm. Plenty of tables and friendly atmosphere. A wonderful experience.Chin our waiter was constantly around to help us. He had a great knowledge of the meats and we let him pick our four meats for us. All g reat choices for sides and the brisket sauce is so good. The quality of meat and flavor was excellent. I usually go to GEN since its so close to my house but this place is way better. Also you can put you name on the list from Yelp so you dont have to go early to do it or stand in front of a restaurant for over an hour. All the servers are friendly and energetic.

Very good service. Extremely fast. Someone checks on you about every 5 minutes. If they notice you’re short on anything, they check on you even sooner. The place was packed but they don’t use that as an excuse. They are still super attentive.Meat was good. Pork skin, aged pork belly were both great. Small intestines good. The soybean soup was not overly salty. The gyeranjjim was not salty or watery. I will be here again.

They wont seat you like 1 hours before they close, they should just change their hours to reflect the time they stop seating. They wont serve you if you are by yourself. Ive gone here twice in the past week with my friends. Our server has been Nathan both times and he is awesome!! Hes super fast with getting our food and has really awesome suggestions. Best AYCE kbbq i’ve ever done! Loved the kimchi fried rice, beef belly, and la galbi! You can get half orders of meat when you’re hitting the end which is perfect so it doesn’t go to waste! Food was amazing I dont think you can beat the quality per price. Its is somewhat in pricey at 29.99 for the Basic option and an even premium. I did only manage to stick to the basic one since I was mainly looking for brisket but oh man the options they give are slightly different than most KBBQ but they do manage to make it great. Overall 10/10. Service was great, although I was the only one there so that might explain why. In the end it was a great place highly recommend trying it once!!!

My 2 friends and I met up for lunch on Saturday 2:15pm. We were seated within 5 minutes. I think AYCE A was $24.99 and AYCE B was...$34.99. My friend Ruben paid so...all I was focused on was: Customer Service, side dishes, quality of meats. We went for AYCE A.As soon as we sat down, a waitress came and took our orders. I was not impressed with the 5 side dishes and 2 small bowls of salads. The meat quality and portions were small. We had to order 3 meat dishes two times...so, it can qualify as 1 time order. Limit was 2 hours. We tried 90% on the items.Servers have no name badges, so writing a review will be hard. Except, the short asian tomboy waitress was nice and fast.My honest opinion, I would not return.

Absolutely love the food here, hands-down my favorite KBBQ. Great service. If you want to go on a Friday or Saturday night get on the wait list in advance because its not a secret that the food here is to die for.Recently theyve doubled down on food quality, and gotten rid of some of their more economical AYCE options, and added a new luxurious looking one for about 50 bucks a head. I cant wait to try it. (This may be due to the pandemic, with limited seating they might just be making every seat count to stay in business and keep their workers paid. Time will tell if the cheaper options come back when its not so hard to make ends meet. Even if they dont, Im still going)Cant recommend them enough. If only I hadnt moved away from Garden Grove, I would go more often.

If there’s a Zero star, I would give this place a zero star. The server guy with a gold chain necklace is so rude. We did a reservation for 5, we got there with 3 people but don’t go inside to check in. he came outside to ask we already checked in. I said not yet we only have 3 people. Then he said the wait time is 45mins to 1 hour. And we said okay. But when all our friend got here and all we need just to let him know that we are all here and how long is the wait? He reply so rudely by saying” I told you guy already that it’s 45mins to 1hour and now it’s 1 hour to 1.5 hour”. come on man, we just ask him pu nicely but he gave us the attitude so we walk out. Not gonna go there again. I go out and eat a lot. We’ve never been treated that way. If the owner read the review, please consider this guy again.

Place is great, it is small but the quality of food and the staff is amazing! They always keep checking on you, unused plates are hardly at the table when you throw the meats on the grill, they make sure drinks are always refreshed, condiments are refilled when gone, the sides are amazing. Brisket soup (which I call stew) is my favorite part. Pricing is good for the service and quality. Because it is a small place they only allow 2 hours for All You Can Eat (AYCE) but as long as you dont order to thick of pieces (the pork) youll never have issues with time. Try to be there before 7pm because the waits are pretty long if you come after. Overall though, highly recommend.

It usually takes a few minutes to get seated due to the lack of staff, and the service during the meal can suffer the same fate. The quality of the food more than makes up for the deficiency, though. Our food were barbecuing so slow because every time we turn the burner up to speed up the cooking the female employee that works here always turn the burner down every time she walked by. There were six of us sitting at the table waiting for the food to be cook and an hour past but we were only half full. It was really frustrating. The meat took forever to cook. These guys are untrustworthy, rude and despicable. Server was super rude, threw plates, and kept getting orders wrong. If youre having a bad day dont bring your emotions to work. They mess with the tip and the total amount for the transaction had to be disputed. There is no way you can mess up a 3 with a 7 on a receipt. I had been here before and had a great experience apparently tonight is not a good night to eat. They have open tables but not willing to seat me. You better make a reservation(not sure why it is necessary when yhey have tables)but good luck getting any food in a reasonable time frame. Pretty ridiculous that they have open tables and wouldnt let me sit. its 9 how much more business can be coming in tonight... really disappointed in their customer service but otherwise the foods usually good

Theres a huge difference from the Yelp wait time and the real wait time; it was over an hour difference when we were there. Maybe there should be a whiteboard sign in front to let people know what the real expected wait time is. Its jarring to find out you need to wait another hour after your 30 minute Yelp waitlist is done.

Good all you can eat Korean BBQ, food selection is vast but not overwhelmed from regular bulgogi to more daring beef tongue. The Korean lady service is awesome that come and cook the meat and clean the grill for you. Only down side is the traditional Korean bell botton is not available at the table so everytime you want more meat or a server you have to catch one walking by or bother one who is just done serviceing another table before they go somewhere else. However its all still good.

Reasonably priced and great quality meat. If you plan to eat at any $20+ kbbq I dont think theres any other competition that comes close to this place. Aside from the sides they offer one garlic fried rice per person and amazing brisket soup which I havent seen any where else. Oh and corn cheese~~~~~~~

Grams is one of my favorite ayce kbbq. The dishes are a bit smaller which is nice when you want to try out a bunch of different types of cuts. Service can be a bit slow sometimes and some servers will only let you order 3 meats at a time which can be problematic since the plates are on the smaller side.

Grams BBQ is definitely a place you should visit if youre looking for AYCE KBBQ, the favorites at the table were Beef Belly and Bulgogi. The service we had was spectacular as well. Refills of our bonchon, water, and changes of our grill were on point 👌. Their workers were super friendly too.
