This place is really a 💎. For Chinese food lovers this place really is one of the best around. Ive eaten here for years now and I can honestly say its always been the perfect amount of food and the quality of the service is amazing. The food is good, the people are nice, why not give them a try??
Hot and sour soup was mediocre. House chowmein was really good, won ton soup was good. But the general chicken was very disappointing (breading and sauce was gross). First time here, so ordered a variety. Unfortunately Not consistent to make a regular dining experience.
My first time here and a little hard to find. We ended up getting three lunches to go. I had Kung Pao Chicken and it was delicious. With lunches you get more than enough food and a good sampling of sides besides your main dish. And its less expensive!!! I will be back now that I know where its at.

This is real Chinese food. The servings are good and they are attentive. I was told that if there is a dish that isnt on the menu, that they may be able to cook it if you let them know ahead of time. I may have to call a day or two ahead and have them make Chinese broccoli or crispy duck!💞

Had never been here before but their food was FANTASTIC!! I had been craving Chinese food for SUCH a long time. The staff was friendly, the restaurant is clean and beautifully designed. They were doing take out and dine in. The owner came and introduced himself to us and was so friendly. Definitely will be going back here regularly.This notice was in the restroom. It was really nice to see such a genuine letter from the owner in these crazy times.We had potstickers (perfection!), broccoli beef, sweet n sour pork, pork friend rice, & chicken chow mein. STAY AWAY! Extremely over priced microwaved food. The food is always rough and over cooked. Things that should be crunchy are soggy. The rice seems to have been cooked days before and reheated upon order. Iv watched the staff,food and service go down hill over the last 10 years. I will no longer go back. Got charged $30 for rice,noodles and ONE SMALL entree. STAY AWAY!
We think the best Chinese food in town. We really like the sesame tofu. The service is always quick and the people are nice. The portions are always a good size. The reason for docking one star would be that they should replace or clean the carpet at the entrance.
My family and I absolutely love this Chinese food and only order from here. We have been doing take out for the last year due to Covid-19 and we can order ahead with a pick up time and the food is always hot and fresh. They never make it way too early which is amazing because I have a 40 minute drive home from there. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming along with all of their staff. When we were able to eat inside before covid ( a family member is very high risk) the staff was amazing and the restaurant is very clean.We are from the east coast and noticed many other Chinese restaurants in the area lack flavor when it comes to their pork fried rice but not at Grand China! Grand Chinas pork friend is absolutely amazing and reminds me of home back in Philadelphia. They also have no problem accommodating special orders such as no veggies in the pork fried rice (my mom prefers it that way) and regular pork fried rice with no egg since I am intolerant to scramble eggs. As a family we try our best to support local businesses especially restaurants during Covid-19 and they will always have my business!

Garlic green beans, chicken cashew, chicken chow fun, sweet and sour chicken, and vegatable fried rice...left Kathie, Jillian, Hannah and I gastronomically amazed. It is so hard to find a place to get a gluten free meal in our community. They used to be better but everything tasted different when I went in for lunch today. The wanton soup was off, the egg rolls were more than just veggies, and the sweet and sour sauce was weaker. However, the staff has always been amazing.
Arrived at 7:45 p.m. Mind you its a 43-minute minute drive from my house to get to this restaurant. And they said they could only do takeout so they would not seat anybody. I think thats complete b******* if you can cook to go you can cook for a family of four with two young children ready to eat there at the restaurant. I would never be eating here any further and I would recommend no one else ever need to a restaurant that does that to its regular patrons.
I had the Mongolian Beef lunch special. It was delicious. The meat was tender, a perfect zing of spice and wonderful flavors of sweet onion, green onion and garlic. I love steamed rice. It comes with a yummy spring roll and soup. My friend had the orange chicken, I did taste hers, too. It was also delicious with sesame seed and garlic. Their food is great.
Ever since a good friend of mine showed us this place 7 years ago, it has been a favorite of ours. They have the best honey walnut shrimp we have ever tried. They also have very friendly staff.
Great place with friendly staff, solid portion size and excellent ingredients. I love the cream cheese wontons and the Generals chicken is yummy! I do wish their iced tea wasnt from the soda dispenser, but thats my only complaint. Will return.

We only had a personal check which they dont accept, but little did we know. The Manager allowed us to leave and return with payment which to us was a blessing cus we had no other form of payment at the moment. My family met here, kinda last minute and very glad we did! Service is great! They quickly sat (9) of usus at a large round table that had a lazy Susan in the middle. The kids loved that! We ordered family style and no one was disappointed. My favorite was the peking spareribs and Honey walnut shrmip. The kindly allowed us to swap out an item we didnt like for lemon chicken, and it was DELICIOUS! We would eat here again!
Bad bad service. The restaurant was filthy! Ordered a dish and the guy said oh no you dont want that nobody likes it. He insisted that we should try another dish. So we tryed what he suggested and it was almost identical to another dish we had already ordered. Which by the way had none of the ingredients in the dish we tryed to order. He never checked in with us. Just slap the plates on the table. This place sucks sucks sucks! But try it out if you want to be treated like a Stupid American.
Really good food quality, owner is super nice and accommodating, weird location but lovely big restuarant. Their cheese won tons and fried rice are best in town! I hope they never close.
The service is excellent, the food delicious and the prices are great. They just need to work on the walls, some splatter marks make them look dirty and worn. I will go there again and again and hope that one day the walls will get a freshening up.

My sister & her kids really like this place. Some people really like Grand China they are almost always white. Grand China is one of the better Chinese places in the area. The portion sizes are good plus the prices are good.

I used to love going here and now the food and service are horrible!! 🤮The last 3 times we’ve gone, we have ordered tea and it’s never come. When we ask about it we’re told we didn’t ask. The woman who handles front desk is an older woman and she’s always rude and snappy. This is the one who apparently is in charge of getting tea and whom forgets things.Yesterday, I order hot and sour soup. It has a big red Chile next to it on the menu so I’m assuming it’s you know... HOT! Nope, soup comes and it looks like a big bowl of gravy. It was so sour that it made my cheeks hurt, like I was drinking vinegar. There wasn’t any heat. None.So I sat there watching as my lunch date ate her food and I waited for a waitress so I could order something else. Nobody came and checked on us the whole meal and when the waitress did pass by two times to seat arriving customers, she didn’t stop when I’d try to get her attention.At the end we had to basically hunt her down to get our check and I explained that my soup is gross. I didn’t eat any of it. She doesn’t seem to speak much English so she grabs the rude older woman from the front desk. I explain to her and she doesn’t say anything, she just rolls her eyes and walks back to the kitchen and gets the owner.He seems annoyed and is asking me what’s wrong. I explain. He says “so what do you want? Me to take this off and you don’t pay? No. I’ll go get you more and make it spicy” I explain I don’t want more, I just don’t want to pay for something not edible. He tells me no, he’ll get me another batch. After being gone for what feels like forever, he comes back with a container of soup and says “next time when you don’t like something, tell us before the end of the meal” and walks away.Soooo...... I’m supposed to walk into the back at your restaurant to get assistance from you inattentive staff to complain about a gross meal?! What will be the solution in that? You’ll give me a to go box with the same nasty thing I’m complaining about?So I ended up having to pay for a soup I didn’t eat in the restaurant. And somehow it’s expected I’ll eat a soup that came out of the kitchen after a complaint? I’ve been taught that you don’t eat food returned to you from the kitchen.... so I paid $8 for their mistake and food I won’t be eating.We won’t be returning ever or recommending it. Pretty sad that the food has turned into this and that the staff takes care of people this way. This was my favorite Chinese place growing up... it used to feel welcoming and you’d actually enjoy your food.We’ll be giving business to Hong Kong Chinese instead.I’d rather eat at Panda Express than ever eat here again.

I usually go to another place when I want Chinese, but since that place is temporarily closed, I had to venture out.I am not disappointed at all. All the food we got was super fresh tasting, and looking, not to mention delicious! All the meat was tender, and the veggies were cooked perfectly, nice and tender with a hint of crunch still.The prices are excellent as well, especially considering the large portions they give you.I was happy they accommodated me. I called about 15-20 minutes before they were scheduled to close. I asked if it was too late to place a take out order, and they gladly took my order, and told me no problem!Overall - great food and service! I will definitely be getting food here again in the future.

The food is exceptional service was fast and the staff were extremely friendly. I would go here instead of driving all the way into Sacramento for great Chinese food.

They refused to sit me down after waiting another five for someone to get off their phone in the dining booth to tell me they wouldn’t sit me because they were closing soon. 40 minutes in plenty of time to be in and out as I’m known as regular and have been coming there for over 10 years. Sad to see businesses all over forgetting what customers service is and about. Take care of your customers they take care of you.
