Grand HotPot in Pacifica

Went with my boo and we both thought it was good. Food wise it’s pretty good quality meats, veggies, and such. The broths we ordered (House Spicy and Tonkotsu) were tasty too. The service, unfortunately, wasn’t as accommodating. To end on a more pleasant note, they have an ice cream bar station featuring ice cream flavors like matcha and black sesame. My boo and I liked the red bean flavor the best.

We come here for the first time and it was a great experience. The wait is not that long for dinner. Lots of options and we even find the rice and porridge behind the sauce station. Their cooked side dishes are all good. The prawns are better than a lot of other dim sum restaurants. The herbal chicken feet is good and light but tasty. The spicy chicken has a bit of little bones, don’t bite them as it. We choose the pork stomach and chicken soup base and that’s my fav. Make sure you have a good bowl of soup before asking for refilling the pot.

They have the BEST honey prawns: giant, juicy and crispy. It was so good, I forgot to take a picture. Hot pot is average but if you have more than 10 people you can book a private room and there’s free karaoke! All you can eat and all you can drink (no alcohol). You get food, music, and karaoke, cheaper than clubbing!

Went there for lunch on Saturday. Was on waiting list but not for too long. There were 2 of us, we ordered 2 different soup bases. Their hotpot is a big one that can be divided to two sections, no grill. The meat portion is big. Soup is a bit too salty. Theres a sauce bar to create your own. We love the chopped green onions and garlic. There is a large variety of canned drinks self served from the refrigerator. Their ice cream is also self served with 4 different flavors. I like mango and saseme ice cream. For the price we paid, well worth it.

Food is good, service is slow, would go here on a weekday but never again on a weekend, waited 30mins to get our 2nd order, plus 1st order alot of missing stuff we ordered. Food is tasty. Need more napkin though. We only recieved 1 for each one of us. And this is how it looks like after 🤣

Great All you can eat hot pot! Service was friendly and fast. We went for dinner on a Thursday. It was busy but for two of us we only waited 5 mins. We loved the extra dinner cooked options. Thats pretty rare for hot pot. It was almost like a chinese buffet meets hot pot. Highly recommend. Private karaoke rooms as well.

Very good hot pot in Pacifica with incredible ambiance and interior decoration. The pots with broth are huge, the drinks are plentiful in sodas/ Asian drinks which you can get yourself from the fridge (convenient), and there is an ice-cream bar.This is the only hot pot place Ive seen in which the menu is so large. You can order other fried dishes also. Great all you can eat bang for your buck.

This place was totally worth the 40 mins drive to check out this awesome hotpot spot in Pacifica! There were many things that helped this review be 5 stars. 1. They had “endless” drinks non and Alcoholic, soup dumplings, white rice, porridge and an awesome sauce bar with a ton of things to make the perfect dipping sauce. The quality of the food was also great everything was super fresh. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a new hotpot spot to check this place out ! Don’t sleep 10/10

Grand Hot Pot has everything you need and more to throw a party. Fourteen of us reserved a VIP room from 9pm to Midnight that included all you can eat hot pot, all you can drink canned soft drinks and canned Sapporo. We spent $45 per person and considering you get a private karaoke room with all you can eat and drink I think its definitely worth it.The food was pretty good quality and the room was spacious with a circular table housing 4 hot pots which we separated between a spicy side and a non spicy side of the table. Grand Hot Pot is a great and entertaining spot to eat and sing especially if you can get enough people to come and book a private room in advance.

I just realized that I never read the place even though Ive been coming here quite consistently.The first time I came here was when they just opened and it seemed like they were trying to figure things out. The menu was limited and there werent too many people coming here.I have been coming here a little more consistently because the place is close to my house I started charging for all of the extra snacks.Their meat selection is good and comparable to all the other hot pot places that Ive been to. You can never go wrong with their house soups. This place has large pots and not individual ones, so if you dont like that this is definitely not the place for you.They have a ton of extra snack items on the menu and I would highly recommend the honey glazed prawns (theyre HUGE), green onion pancakes, and the sweet and sour fish.All of the drinks in the refrigerator are free and it is self-service, you just cannot take anything home. There is also scoop yourself ice cream available for dessert. All of the times that Ive been there they have strictly enforced in 90 minute time limit.There is a discount if you pay in cash versus if you pay with credit card. The restaurant itself can get very busy so definitely try to come in a little bit earlier since you may have to wait. The parking lot also gets very full because it shares with Safeway and other little shops.
