This place doesnt look like much but the food was really quite good. The service was excellent also. according to the kids, the pot stickers were some of the best theyve had. I personally thought the combination fried rice was particularly tasty. recommend!!

This is proper American Chinese food! ie, nothing like how its supposed to taste!Salt and pepper pork chops didnt have any pepper or spice to it at all.Seafood hotpot was more of a stir fry, and tasted identical to the vegetable chow mein. All the dishes were way too salty.Waiter was too busy sitting down and chatting with the only other patron in the restaurant to even bother checking in until 5-10 minutes after I was done eating.

PF Changs Pasadena is temporarily closed so my son and I walked to Grandview Palace. We were immediately seated and the service was fast and attentive! Our food came out hot and delicious!

All the dishes Ive had have been delicious and well portioned. The best thing about this place is they sell an egg fried rice which is about the same price as their steamed rice. Seems like most Chinese places Ive tried in America sell egg fried rice as if its an entree and charge at least $8 for it.

Went around 8:30pm on a Thursday night. Pretty quiet. Place was nice and staff was friendly. Food came out fairly quickly. Kung-pao shrimp was pretty spicy, it had a nice kick to it. Lemon chicken came out looking like a fish filet but it was okay. Cans of drinks.

**Update 8/30/21Our new family favorite. The Wor Wonton soup Is delicious . When your in the mood for soup this is the order. The flavor of the broth is like no other. Enjoy***We have been looking for a good old fashioned Chinese restaurant like the ones we used to eat at when we were growing up. Those of you who grew up in Boyle Heights and East LA might remember the New Formosa café before the owners closed up shop in early 2000’s. Then Paul’s Kitchen in Monterey Park. They closed maybe 10yrs or less ago. I grew up with their delicious dishes. Now in San Gabriel Valley you think I could find at least an average Chinese restaurant well we haven’t.Today I went to Google to find a well rated Chinese restaurant. We discovered Grandview Palace. It’s rated 4.3 Stars of 5. Well let me bend your ear for a bit. The food here is DELICIOUS!! My family just loved it. We definitely will be ordering from here again. I usually don’t eat or enjoy the Mongolian beef that my husband and son love. Let me tell you I couldn’t avoid tasting the dish. It was so good I made sure to serve some on my plate. We got a little bit of everything so that we can gage the taste of everything that I know my family likes. I should say Loves!! The Lo Mein was just as delicious but when it came to the Egg Foo Young OMG, we finally had some that tasted like what we ate before at the other restaurants that no longer exist. I have included pics of the dishes but we couldn’t hold off eating the food before all of the pics were taken. Don’t let me forget to tell you that the pork egg rolls were the bomb. Im so glad for all those of you who rated this restaurant so well so that I could try it. Thank you Google.
