Dinner was amazing here! If you dont walk out of this place happy, satisfied and feeling like youve had a culinary experience something is wrong with you.Bruschette, Burrata&prosciuttoCrab & truffle chowderGenovese pastaMargherita pizzaI cant recall the name of the desert but... It was special.

We are in town on our Honeymoon, we decided to find a nice local restaurant to celebrate our one week of marriage. WOW! This was hands down, the BEST dining experience we have ever experienced. We were so lucky to get a table without a reservation, the staff was so kind, efficient, and personable! The (we believe to be) owner, Maricio, was the most passionate and genuine human. He took the time to come over to our table and chat with us, share with us his story and his excitement at having been named one of the top 10 Italian Restaurants in California (which we did not know until he told us, we were not surprised as it was impeccable!). The food was so fresh, full of flavor, and light despite being pasta and pizza! The waiter brought over a sample of wine before our dessert course, and they even brought out a complementary dessert along with the dessert that we ordered to celebrate our marriage! We will be coming back for every anniversary to come!! Thank you to all of the staff, it was a perfect and magical experience!

Wonderful little restaurant. When you get inside, you think youre in Italy. Very popular, only seats so many. I dont think there were more than fifty seats. The food was delicious. If you dont have reservations, dont even bother. You will be turned away. Had a great time with good friend, just talking and soaking it in and a man comes up to the table really friendly, I thought it was another waiter, as we were sitting in the path to the kitchen, turns out the nice man was the chef. I didnt believe him at first. He was so approachable. He asked if I was enjoying myself. I said Wonderful. He then gave me a HUG. Blew my mind! What chef hugs the guests. Im definitely coming back just to see him.

Just went back with my parents on Monday, July 18th 2022 and it was exactly as good and consistent as my first visit. Please read my original Yelp review from May 2022 below :) do yourself a favor and just try GRANO!Just found this little piece of heaven next to Target tonight. I took my wife here for a date and we were both mind blown. Best dinner in ages. We both never felt so comfortable and cared for. Multiple staff connected in meaningful ways. Service tops even the most expensive steakhouses. The presentation of the food was over the top. The overall cleanliness, ambiance and taste is impeccable. The sauce for the complimentary fresh baked bread is sweet and rich. The Margherita pizza. Amazing crust!The real wow was the pasta Genovese with 2 day braised beef! Tender and packed with flavor. Pasta cooked to literal perfection. Fresh melty cheese. I really need more! Coming back for dessert and bringing friends! Keep up whatever wizardry is going on in this place! This will be a family staple for my little family for years to come.

I can’t say I’m an Italian food expert, but I’ve been to several Italian joints in la county, Orange County, and places around the general so-cal region…And I will say:This is my favorite Italian food spot of all time.The location is truly unassuming. But the vibe, employees, service, the chef. Oh my goodness.The taste of the food was out of this world.Again I’m not Italian nor an expert, but I will say this… you will not be disappointed with a true ITALIA RISTORANTE

What can I say but WOW! You havent tried authentic Italian cuisine here in America until youve dined at Granos! First of all, we were greeted very warmly and very friendly by ALL the workers. As soon as we were seated at our table, Maurizio, the owner, greeted us again and even pulled up a chair and sat and chatted with us for an extended, even warmer greeting. We later saw him doing this with other customers. Such an excellent host! Thats how welcoming they are at this restaurant. He explained how all the ingredients come directly from Italy! The bread is baked fresh daily, and the tomato sauce uses tomatoes straight from Naples, Italy! The pasta is made fresh, and every dish was outstanding! Oh, and how can I forget the desserts! Omg! We tried the tiramisu and the chocolate mousse, and they are to die for! The ambiance is very relaxing and refreshing. Instead of playing contemporary or pop music, beautiful soft jazz music plays and sets an excellent tone that adds to the dining experience. The restaurant is located in the Target shopping center on Huntington Dr., in Duarte. I recommend going right when they open at 5 pm., to get seated right away. Its obvious they are loved by this community and WILL be around for a long time. Please try! You wont be disappointed!

This restaurant is a favorite of mine. Not only do you get a home cooked style meal, but the gratitude and personal thank you from the chef and owner combined with a very welcoming atmosphere is not just great food but an outstanding experience. I highly recommend the specials. They are hand-made pasta and nothing but fresh great ingredients but cooked with love. You will not regret visiting and dining here.
