2023-10-20 03:36:26Great food and staff!! We did a large complicated pick up order. They were patient, and handled everything beautifully. The food was delicious. Well packaged, and ready as promised. Parking is a bit tough, but you will likely get lucky. Interior is great, and looks like an amazing dining experience.

2023-11-05 21:51:56I had the pleasure of dining at this Chinese restaurant, and it left a lasting impression on me. The standout dish for me was their roasted Peking duck, which was a culinary masterpiece. The skin was delightfully crispy, and the succulent duck meat practically melted in my mouth. But what truly sets this restaurant apart is its diverse menu, featuring a range of Chinese dishes, including some American-Chinese favorites like honey walnut shrimp. What I appreciate about this restaurant is the effort to cater to different tastes and preferences. This combination of traditional Chinese flavors and American-Chinese dishes provides something for everyone. Its worth noting that this place tends to get quite busy, so I highly recommend making a reservation.Another feature I loved was the rotating table setup for larger groups, ideal for six people and up. It made sharing and sampling multiple dishes a breeze, adding to the overall experience. The attentive service and the welcoming ambiance complemented the culinary delights, making it a memorable dining experience. I cant wait to return and explore more of their extensive menu.

2023-10-22 22:42:02Great service, fast and reliable. The dumplings are tasty good dumplings. We especially enjoyed the steamed fish, they took off the bones, made it fresh and tender, juicy and delicious, really worth it! The lamb is so so, but other things are very good.

2023-08-09 21:49:51This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in East Bay for a long time. Decent food quality and great taste. They are famous for pecking duck but I do think they also have other great dishes as well. I love 2 skin appetizer, rice sizzling soup, crab meat with buns. Sour Pork Ribs. I am so glad to see them survive during COVID 😊

2023-06-22 08:21:49This is a popular restaurant. It’s clean with lots of tables. We went on a busy night. They have several round tables with a lazy Susan in the middle for large parties. The food was outstanding! I highly recommend the Peking Duck. Best I’ve ever had. Soo good I couldn’t get a picture. We ordered Ginger Calamari and they gave us some sort of peppers and chili mix that was terrible and we couldn’t get the waiter’s attention to fix it. The staff did bring the dishes out at a nice pace so we could enjoy our dinner together.

2023-09-30 21:20:53Recently, the Beijing duck doesnt seem as fresh as it used to be. Despite the price hike, its quality seems to have declined. Ive given it two tries with consistent results. Nonetheless, I still enjoy their other dishes.

2023-10-08 05:52:57The pecking duck is a must! It was simply delicious, so good I actually forgot to took a picture for this review. The potstickers and the pork dumplings were also really good (and big). Honestly, no issues with my visit.

2023-11-22 06:43:08It’s true. Their food here is awesome. Obviously the Peking Duck is a must. It’s pricey at $70 but a superior product. Combination chow mein comes with beef, chicken, and shrimp. Thick udon type noodles. Yum! And the snow peas with shrimp come with large, plump prawns. The whole meal is pricey. But it’s ok once in a while.Nov’24 update:Still good here though I took a start away this time. Always get the Peking duck even though it’s super pricey. It’s just good. This time we had green beans with beef which was excellent. Also had sweet and sour pork which was better than average. Chicken fried rice was delicious. Ma po tofu was good but a little on the vinegary side. I like that it’s less oily than most Chinese restaurants. Portion size was good which I’m glad because it’s expensive at approximately forty dollars per head after tax and tip included. I mean, it’s Chinese food. Plus we waited 40 minutes for the food to come; that’s not great service.

2023-03-05 23:17:18I love Great China. The flavor of each dish is only matched by the speed it takes to pump out the best Chinese dishes in the Bay Area. I may be biased, having spent so many dinners at Great China since it’s old location closer to campus. We often order 10+ dishes when we come with a group of 8. Can’t stress how great the food and service is.Come for the double skin, Peking duck, walnut prawns, Yuxiang eggplant.

2022-11-21 10:10:54This is probably my favorite place in east bay to take our family for Chinese dinner. Good service, great decor, and the quality is consistent. We usually get the double skin entree and the duck is done with care and cut well. Sizzling rice soup is good too. Price can add up but you get what you pay for. Did a great job with the front of the restaurant and the bathrooms are kept clean.
