They were rather under staffed for the amount of customers but did an okay job. The place was packed and once we received our entrees it was easy to see why. The portions were huge and really good. There are several lunch combo specials that I got a chance to peak at on other tables as we were leaving but I have a MSG allergy so I could not order one. This didnt really matter because the kitchen made my husband and I our choices to order. I got hot and sour soup and Mushu pork both were great. My husband got some sort of sea food, chicken pork and beef dish which was also good. His parents shared the largest plate of shrimp lo mein Ive ever seen. Prices were good and food was great.

Took 45 minutes to get any of our food. We ordered appetizer and our meals came with soup of the day and we never received it. Food was fine nothing exciting. Definitely wasnt worth the 45 minute wait. Then we had to wait 30 minutes to receive our bill or to go bags.

Absolutely my favorite restaurant in Clovis!! The food NEVER misses and everyone is so friendly and attentive. We usually get the lunch plates, but weve tried a couple things off the regular menu, as well as appetizers and we have yet to get something we dont like. Come hungry because theres a lot of food; youll leave full and happy!! :)Long live Great Wall!! ✨

Service was amazing very helpful and kind! Food taste was good but plating made no sense I wanted Mongolian beef with fired rice and soft noodles. What I was given was fried rice and pan noodles?(bland white noodles some crunchy some soft no vegetables) then they put the Mongolian beef over the top of everything. The tast was good and the potion was good to just very messy and hard to eat.

Everything about this place was not good the food was bad the atmosphere was bad and the server was .... ok ... we got mongolian beef it was boring and not very good at all we were supposed to get soup with our dinner did not recieve it either the owner i presume was kind however... the product and staff needs improvement... personally feel ripped off i probably wont be back for multiple years iv tried this place years ago it has stayed the same

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants Ive ever been to, and Ive been to a lot of them all over the country. I recommend you dine in and try one of their Special Plates, you will not be disappointed!👍Also they provide a sweet bowtie wonton for dessert!

Im disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered the beef chow mein. The beef was tough and they used canned mushrooms. Id rather have no mushrooms than canned. The Sweet and Sour Pork also had large chuncks of fat. It really needs to be trimmed more.

The service was excellent ! The Server I believe her name was Mandy, made you feel you were like family. She was very energetic and constantly smiling and making all feel very welcomed and happy. I would definitely recommend this place to friends if only for the service.

I love your plate lunches. (Not the ribs though. Too much fat, bone, and gristle) If you charge more for them on weekends your menu needs to state M-F only. We were so disappointed with the chicken salad. To much skin, fat, and gristle. The next day we tried the Four Seasons salad. Theirs was great. Check it out. Meat prep needs to improve. Service is excellent !!

Kind people, fair pricing, but absolutely WAY too much food. It’s great if you’re starving for food but even then, it was just a mountain of food. It wasn’t the best quality either, the meat felt kind of fake, the good noodles were under the super slippery ones. But by that time we barely scraped our plates. Our leftovers hardly fit in our to-go boxes!We also were there during lunch hours on the weekend (Father’s Day on Sunday), their menu told us the times for lunch hours so naturally we ordered lunch specific plates. By the time of payment, they said lunch hours do not count on weekends. So BEWARE they’ll charge more on weekends during lunch hours, and refuse to put it on their menu or let you know until time of the bill!All in all not the best experience. The food could be much better and portioned correctly, transparency could improve between staff and customers with the lunch times (and to put it on the menu too), they could relocate their front desk with the actual register in the back so it’s in a convenient spot instead of having to run to the kitchen - then back out front 2-3 times for a receipt and change.Side note: None of us felt good after the food, maybe tons of msg or preservatives in their food? We didn’t even eat our leftovers, so it was a waste.

I cant express how disgusting this place is!! Stay away! I should have taken pictures of the dirty lobby and tables, and especially the nasty restrooms. I refused eating in a place like that. Our waitress was great. Such a memory! She remembered all 10 servings! Very generous servings, too. I am on a low to no salt restriction, so I might be off, but I found the meal a bit too salty. The soup was wonderful. I had the beef broccoli .

I unfortunately didnt care for this restaurant. I judge Chinese food on their shrimp and fried rice. Neither worked for me. They do have a great following and continuous customers but there was no flavor and the chop suey chow mein tasted like clumped noodles in flour water sauce. Everything is edible with soy sauce so we doused and were on our way. Unfortunately towards the end of the meal we noticed lipstick prints on the plastic cup. My daughter wasnt wearing lipstick and we wiped with the napkin and the lipstick came off....that doesnt work for me so I wont be back. It then made me accept that my water too was either overly sanitized or had a weird taste in general. Just sharing an honest experience.

Ima give it a 4.5 on the Chinese food chart good food I ordered special chow mein was good . Spicy beef sounds scary but its not spicy at all . Fried rice is good medium flavor. And orange chicken smells like its ganna kill u cause they use real red Chilli 🌶 in it but its actually really sweet and yummy . Doesnt taste like fake chemical oranges more like sweet sugar chilis and maybe lil bit of orange zest . Over all Id definitely go here and eat the Inside of the restaurant looks really nice and clean and I ordered for take out and was surprised of how much food I had left over . Like literally ate till I slept and still have enough to eat like that for 2 or 3 more days

Food was your typical buffet-style quality: overcooked rice, undercooked noodles, questionable proteins drowned in overly sweet sauce.Based on the high stars for this place, was expecting more and definitely left disappointed.1 star for the food, 3 star service. Ordered here for the first time; it will also be the last. Service was fine. The quality of the food however was bad. The fried rice with chicken was sticky, and it had no taste. It was like hospital food. The Singapore noodles were ok worthy of 1 star; same goes for the chicken with string beans. The sauce again had no taste and just thick: like gravy thick, and tasteless. The only thing salvageable was the spicy tofu. Again: 1 star is all it gets. The food at Panda Express has more flavor; you would think with food this bad, it must be run by non-Chinese persons. Its not. Which makes it all the more concerning why they are not able to make authentic Chinese food bursting with flavor and spice. Perhaps they are making it palatable to American taste or for the demographics around Clovis; perhaps. But even then, it is still no excuse to make food that tasted like it was ordered from the hospital cafeteria.

First time ordering from here and it will be my last. We ordered the Sweet and sour chicken and the chicken had bones in it and the sauce smells foul. Being from the Midwest, you develop a certain taste for Chinese food. We are new to the Fresno area and this tasted just like home!! We will definitely be back!! Great food and service. My husband and I went to this restaurant for the first time tonight, we were not disappointed! The food is great and the 2 young ladies that were serving customers were great too!! We ordered a variety of dishes/appetizers and it was all very good! Weve been looking for a place like this for a while, that we can dine at frequently and we found it. I noticed theres a few reviews on here that mentioned the customer service and wait time well, Im of the mind set if the food is great, then its worth the wait! The servers were pleasant, however the restaurant was almost empty and it took them a while to get our drink order. The chicken corn soup was hot and delicious! We had to wait quite a while to get our main entree plates and even longer to get the rice. So, by the time we got our rice, the entrees were warm, not hot. Then after bringing out two entrees and our rice, we were informed that they were out of walnuts for the honey walnut shrimp. Wouldnt the cook notice upon receiving the order the dish requiring walnuts, and notify us right away for a dish substitution? Nope. So we would have had to wait even longer to get our third dish. This was disappointing. All the while, I noticed to go orders leaving the kitchen, being paid for, and being picked up. I guess if you want prompt service, to go is the way to go here.

Decent food. The chow mein noodles were over cooked and dry. The pork was decent, although some pieces were turning green, going bad. The restrooms were not very clean, or organized. They dont replace the towel dispensers, they just put the roll on the sink and let you tear off how ever much you need. Over all though, the food was decent, and the restaurant has a very nice set up and is pretty clean.

The worst food I have ever tried to eat. I have eaten in places all over the world and nothing compares to this. We have eaten here before and it was just ok. Not now...I will be surprised if we all do not get sick from the little bit we ate. Nasty tasting! Chicken wings tasted like they were spoiled before being cooked. Spring rolls tasted like they were cooked in rancid oil and smelled like it too.

Pretty good Chinese food! The pricing is right in line with other places, but the food here is better than most other Chinese food places. It is clean inside, but face it...like most people, you are going to order take out here. It is a good value to eat here, and the only reason I cannot give it five stars, is because of the service. Sometimes it is great, and sometimes it is terrible! Very inconsistent. So, if you are ok with gambling the fact that you MIGHT get below average service, but you WILL get some very tasty Chinese food!

Among couple of servers, only one lady works really hard, and rest of guys dont know what to do or just ignore what customer need. They dont care how long customer is waiting for food. We also had the chowmeing with just vegetables the noodles were the thick off white looking ones seems to be the norm here in Fresno not really my thing, but i am from LA so maybe I got spoiled over there with better tasting chowmeing and the thiner noodles to me those are much better. The chicken fried rice was also ok but like i said i have had better. The worst part was our food was late i dont know who screwed up but had to wait about 30 mins. The manager or owner was nice enough to give us half off though so that was cool. Wont be comming back.

I have been to this restaurant three times. The food is ok, its not terrible. But it doesnt take my breath away. I dont think that it is worth the money, I would rather go a better Chinese restaurant. The only reason that I went here is because my favourite, Joy Luck, shut down. At Great Wall of China, the sauce is watery. It was busy the last time that I went there, and no one ever asked us how we were doing or gave us updates on the food. It took 45 minutes to finally get our food, even though it wasnt that good. I do not reccomend going there. I hope that helped. >_

If you follow the prompts on an iPhone, this restaurant has a menu to order from. Only it’s not them. It’s a place, I think, in New Jersey. So, if you order and pay, you have to go to New Jersey to get your food.I pointed this out to them, and when I say pointed out, I showed them on my phone, and they said it was on me for not knowing the restaurant website listed on their iPhone web page, was not them.Very weird way of conducting business. Three Things I really, really LOVE about the Great Wall Chinese Cuisine. I hear you have to be pretty to get good service in here and as you can see, Me So Pretty haha :)1. The food. I love the Kung Pao Shrimp. This is the Best Kung Pao Shrimp I had anywhere. Full of flavors and crunchy veggies. I love the Crab Rangoon the taste and the presentation is pretty awesome. I also love the Walnut Prawn as the walnuts taste just like candy. I alos love the House Special Chow Mein2. The prices. One order cost around $10, and will feed me twice as they give huge portions.3. The proximity. This is the closest Chinese place from my house and also the best one. Its less than a 1/4 mile from my house. As far as Im concern this is the best Chinese in Fresno/Clovis area.The dining area is pretty fancy for a Chinese restaurant and its real clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful.They also deliver which is real nice if you just want to stay in.I give Great Wall Chinese Cuisine, Five Stars as this is Fresno/Clovis the finest Chinese food in the area.Will I be going back?
