Good food prepared with little grease. But.... The owners appear to be maximizing profits by keeping their Covid virus restrictions in place. No condiments, no restroom, plexiglas up so they cant hear your comments or get your order correct.
I love their grilled chicken. there soups are really good also. i would recommend getting half and half, just so u can get a taste of both. service is very friendly. they have a $.50 charge,which i didn’t mind. i would go here if i was in a hurry
I remember my dad taking us here when we were small especially since my dad worked at embee Inc. Out of all the Chinese food places this one satisfied us every time I guess I just liked their original/traditional chow mein instead of the orange chow mein noodles. The workers were always welcoming and they served you a lot of food to go (: I recommend it. 🍜🍚
I have the Vegetable Soup with Shrimp for lunch almost everyday.Probably the best Ive had. A good surprise from a very ordinary place.Quick (Call ahead..) fresh, and good!What could be better.
Its Chinese fast food. Service is always friendly and great, and the food is pretty good for Chinese fast food. Every once in a while they will experiment and add new items to their precooked menu. Unfortunately the place itself is a little run down and could use any update.
Deffinetly not happy with this place. I have worked in the area and gone here 3 times since Ive worked here for 2.5 years.There food is deffinetly not good. The last time I went I asked if I could get a teriyaki bowl with just vegetables no rice. They told me they couldnt do that. I told them I would pay extra and they still wouldnt.Today when I went to use their bathroom half the entry way was hidden from boxes. The bathroom door was wide open. I closed it and could hear them stacking boxes. When I came back out I had to squeeze through the door to get out.I only have a half hour lunch. They had no steamed vegetables and no orange chicken, which is what I wanted. The broccoli beef I got sucked and this place is over priced for the megar portions they give you.Googled a new chinese food place in the area that ia farther from my work. I will be going there in the future. Never coming here again.
They have good Chinese food at reasonable prices. But the girl doesnt understand English very well. Closing time is 8:00 pm, and that really means 7:45 pm, if you want to actually get any food!
So the food is decent, they certainly load up the plates! Everything is fresh when I go. Friendly staff and good environment. Definitely going to keep going back!
I have eaten there quite a few times. Small simple place. Quality of the food is good. Can get in an out pretty fast. The only challenging part is parking lot. A little tight
Could be worse. Decent food, however, flies were flying around my head while eating. Plus, didnt really appreciate being asked for money by some bum crouching by the entrance. I live pay check to pay check like Most middle class Californians. The nerve of people. Guess its survival of the fittest......
If you like having to swat away flies every 2 seconds, and eat below average food this is the place for you.
This place is horrible. They cant even get the basics right. The fried rice was way greasy and the chow mein was garbage. The orange chicken had too much breading. The price was about average but definitely not worth it
Worst place ever food tasted like it was on the microwave..the chicken was cold in the middle and warm outside 🤮 then I took out the cap on my soda because I didnt grab a straw.. I noticed black little stuff inside ...I just had to leave this place ewwwww

I ordered teriyaki chicken and chow mein. What I got was pure onions and pure teriyaki sauce. Barely any noodles. Really inedible food. Would not recommend!! Terrible!

Coming to this place for the first time order one item combo I felt that the noodles were extremely oily and when I ordered the Ice-T they gave me a full cup of ice with ice tea and for the price they were charging I dont think it was such a great deal they want to ask them you know why they give me so much ice theyre like they sell it measured.

2023-11-30 03:03:20Ive been eating at Great Wall for more than 20 years (5 owners, IIRC, with new owners being there since 2023, I think). The food is always great (some of the dishes are a bit spicier than I prefer, so I havent had all of them, but my friends who have like them, too). Everyone I have taken there likes the food, including a Taiwanese ex-GF. My favorite is the Grilled Chicken, followed by the Orange Chicken. Admittedly, the ambiance is generic fast food, but the chairs are new (as of late 2011) and the tables are clean. The owners and their employees are friendly and the prices are moderate. I make it a point to eat there when I am in Santa Ana. The only downside is no free refills on the soft drinks.

2023-03-31 00:49:45I came here on a review on google. The food really is amazing and the 3 woman who were working at the time were seriously as nice and human as it gets. I really like these people and their food. The price was a lot less than I thought itd be and I just moved here from seattle last month expecting things to cost a fortune. This place is definitely a great place worth visiting and what you get for under 15$ is a lot. I got the chicken house special with BBQ pork on rice and chow mein.
