What a great place !Beautiful grounds and excellent staff made the experience one to remember for all the right reasons
Went to celebrate my cousins wedding and must say the full experience surpassed my expectations! The entire staff was friendly, professional and most importantly genuine.
A beautiful garden setting with a victorian feel. Statues and fountains are scattered amongst the trellises of cascading flowers and tree lined pathways. A huge white tent is a permanent structure just waiting for the party to begin. A extra special space is set aside just for the bride and her party to gather, dress and tend to the tiny details. A beautiful place that steps out onto the garden path to where her guests and groom awaits her. For those little girls looking for a enchanting garden in a story book setting, this is a place you want to see.
Beautiful venue for wedding or anniversary. Foods were good. Parking is a little bit confusing and steep for people with disabilities.

Nice wedding, they opened the bar but didnt have a place to sit. They told my wife to sit on a short wall. It was a formal wedding.

Beautiful venue. Ample outdoor space- we had over 300 people @ my brother’s wedding. The staff were all very helpful and very kind. It was absolutely amazing. Could not have chosen a better place or had a more magical wedding celebration. The pictures on the property came out phenomenal! The distinct rooms for the Groomsmen & Bridesmaids were great! Everything here was wonderful. 🙂
What a venue! I performed a wedding here and was blown away. So beautiful, quiet, and spacious and you don’t feel like you are right off the freeway. Great amenities for the wedding parties and the guests. Staff was wonderful and really did a great job taking care of their guests.
Beautiful venue. I was there for a wedding. Catering/food was delicious. Only complaint parking not good for the handicapped, older people & people with some mobility issues as its a somewhat steep walk up to venue. I suggest venue purchase & have available a multi passenger golf cart to assist those who have mobility issues.

We had the best experience working with Trademark at Green Gables. Courtney was our planner and she was amazing! Shout out to the assistant Mikaela as well - they both took such great care of us on our big day. Highly recommend working with Trademark and having your wedding at Green Gables!!
Beautiful wedding venue. Accessible to the wedding ceremony site, the food tent and the bathrooms. Very lovely in the evening with lights strung all across the grounds. Good size dance floor and a lovely antique brass rail bar. Lovely vignettes as you enter the ceremony site.
Beautiful venue. I went there to attend my nieces wedding. It appeared that all went smoothly. They have handicapped parking as well. The restrooms are a little far so allow a little extra time. If it rains, they will tent it off. Your wedding photos will turn out lovely with all of the greenery. If they provide the food, it was plentiful, good but not outstanding. The reception was set up nicely with plenty of room to dance.
I recently got married at this beautiful wedding venue and so happy that i chose this place. I fell in love the minute i stepped into their garden. Definitely was not expecting a beautiful surprise. They are reasonably priced compared to any other venue and trust me i have done my fair share of research. I live in L.A. and is well worth the short drive out here. They are strictly a wedding venue so the staff wont disappoint as they are very knowledgeable. If you like the Vintage garden feel this is your place and look no further. You have the entire place set up from outdoor ceremony, tented reception area, decorations, to REAL bathrooms. And did i mention bride and groom suites? Old schoolhouse is another special treat and dont want to spoil what they have in store for brides arrival.All my guests could not stop talking about this beautiful venue. Melissa was such a pleasure to work with! Very patient, detailed, organized and everything u want in a coordinator. But, all staff here at Green Gables are exceptional as they do their best on customer service. Also, another staff member by my side on day of, Torie who absolutely kept me hydrated and taken care of the whole day of my wedding.I wish i can say more...this place you just have to visit. Definitely will not be disappointed...well worth money spent.
Beautiful spot for a wedding/celebration! The location is wonderful - right off a busy interstate, so its easy to get to. Once you arrive on the grounds, you cant hear any cars or other traffic noise, which is awesome! The lawn and other foliage is tasteful and well-maintained. There are ample trees for adequate shade, which is welcome in the warmer months. I have no clue about costs, but it seems well worth the price.

This was a beautiful venue. Unfortunately we received a pretty unexperienced bar tender who over poured drinks. We had asked for shot to be placed at our sweetheart table and was give an entire cup of hennessy. All our guests said drink were well over poured. We had two bridal assistant and were very attentive to the bride. Our wedding coordinator was had to reach at times prior to our wedding date which created alot of stress. We were told to bring in our own bar set because Its a hit or miss if they have one. Sometimes thier bar sets come up missing, so we brought our own bar set and it was missing at the end in the night. We were able to contact the team and they were able to find it a couple days later but it was missing a few pieces in our set. There was a bunch of other items that were return a few days later after it missing. The venue should create a list of incoming items. Satellite bar looks like it was rotting.Overall we had a great time but there were a few things that should be fixed.
Beautiful venue for my sisters wedding. Loved how rustic everything was and the estate had plenty of picture moments. The only mark down for me was the parking down a hill you had to trek up to the venue and the small bathrooms. Other than that it was beautiful.
Went for a wedding. First impression parking is tight and hard to get into because of street repairs. Not sure if their is left turning from the street. Had to go two blocks to turn back for a right turn into the parking lot. Outside area for the wedding was nice. Large tented area for the reception. Service and staff great and attentive.
We had our wedding at GG on 10/5 and it was the most magical day of our lives! All our guests were blown away with the venue. We didn’t spend much on flowers because we really didn’t have to, the venue is so beautiful all on its own. Food is SO good, Tim from their culinary team was super easy to coordinate with via email and our tasting was fun. Amber was our wedding planner and she was great! Kept our timeline moving and there really wasn’t any delays. If I could do it all over again, I would pick Green Gables every time!
This place was amazing! My brother had his wedding there earlier this year, and everything there was just fantastic. The staff were easy to work with and very helpful, and the venue itself is beautiful. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a wedding in the area.
The servers were extremely unattentive and more worried about getting the food off the tables rather than getting drinks for everyone with alcohol that we had to provide. The drinks we did get were under mixed and our provided alcohol was poured as if we were at a tasting. They waited until cake to put out other desserts and yelled at our camera guy for taking a donut that we ended up with about 3 dozen left. The best thing I could say is it was a pretty place but not worth investing your effort in. Also the wedding coordinator was a jerk and got angry at our camera guy for having a drink. He was our guest and drank our alcohol so she needs to get off her high horse.

Went for a wedding the place is beautiful. What I didnt like were the restrooms were a hike to get to and only 1 for women . Yes some where further away, but more of a hike with heels on. Alot of hills.
We recently got married at Green Gables and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The facility is amazing. What started as an old school house has been transformed into an amazing venue. The staff was responsive, helpful and knowledgeable in every respect.Since the day of the event is dedicated to you, the staff takes an all-hands-on-deck approach and is there at your service. Every member of the staff that we interacted with was polite and managed any and all needs not only during the event but before and after.I HIGHLY recommend this venue if you are getting married but BOOK EARLY. There is such a high demand (and understandably so) you need to plan in advance or will miss out on an amazing location and level of service. We were very fortunate to obtain the date we wanted.Specifically, Christian, Bernadette, Chance and Shawn were incredibly throughout the process.Our thanks to all for helping to put on an unforgettable day for us!!
My friends had their wedding here. It is a lovely location, and the staff and catering were excellent.
We went here to check out the venue for our wedding. I cried in every room. The landscaping is beautiful, the old school house is a perfect vintage setting and our guide Lisa was amazing. The prices we low compared to other venues. We did not book due to us paying for it our self, we need more time to save. But this would be my first choice. Twinkle light setting, old truck, a very romantic setting.
Our daughter & son in law, choose Green Gables Wedding Estate as their venue of choice, and were not let down. The grounds, the charming school house, Bridal room, groomsmen room, the tent for the reception, the chandaliers, it was all exquisite, not to mention the food, out of this world delicious!!. Perfect setting for wedding photos. The staff there did all they could to make our daughters special day a dream. Snaps to you Christian and all the staff who worked so well together to see that all details were met. Our family and friends could not say enough, they are still talking about it. We highly recommend having your wedding at this venue, very classy, God Bless you all.
Very accommodating venue, polite and courteous staff. Loved that it was so inclusive, made for much less stress when planning the wedding. The grounds are beautiful and they do a great job making you feel in control of everything with the 3 design meetings.
Excellent space for a wedding ceremony and reception. The staff are friendly and helpful. If youre having a daytime ceremony, plan to supply shade (umbrellas or awnings) for ALL seated guests. It was 90 during the event I attended, and extremely uncomfortable to remain seated in the sun during the ceremony.

My Sister had an absolutely beautiful wedding here back in January. Even though it is surrounded by busy streets and a shopping complex across the way, you have absolutely no clue when you are up on the hill. You think youre secluded from the world in a forest. Its very serene, and it made for a very wonderful night.
This place is awesome. My daughters wedding was held here and it was quite memorable. Not quite as expensive as other venues. Absolutely beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We had our wedding here June 20th. Hands down the very best ever! The team here at Green Gables is the absolute best. Our wedding day went on without a hitch! Elham our coordinator was absolutely amazing. I wish I could get married here everyday! Absolutely no regrets. I would choose this venue 100 times over! The entire day was planned perfectly and the timeline was 100 percent adhered to. I would find myself emailing the office staff sometimes more than once a week, they were always helpful and quick to respond. Thank you Green Gables! I cannot thank you guys enough! The entire process was great.
The grounds were beautiful, a little too rustic for our taste to be honest. I understand maintaining the true value of the vintage architecture, but with the amount of money that they make they should be able to do the patch work and restoration required to keep the grounds looking elegant instead of cheap. There were tiles missing out of the floor, cracked floor tiles, the only positive aspects of the bathrooms were that they smelled nice, and there was trash all over the place. Spend the money to maintain a clean venue, so each guest sees that you take pride in your estate. While we were touring the grounds, a wedding was being set up, which we didnt like at all, its almost intrusive. We agreed on our wedding day, we wouldnt want people wandering the property while were trying to set up. These were all things that we could have overlooked to have our day of celebration on this beautiful property.WHAT WE COULD NOT OVERLOOK was the staff. If I could even call them that. We made a 10 o clock appointment, and we knew we were cutting it close with being on time. We made a phone call to the lady we had an appointment with and told her we were close, but may be 5 minutes late at the most. We arrived 4 minutes after 10 and were told that our tour guide was with another guest. The supervisor of catering, Petar (who was awesome by the way), informed us that every tour guide was busy at the moment, but it shouldnt take more than 15 minutes. We waited 30 minutes and Petar was nice enough to check back in with us a few times and tried to find someone for us, with no success. We decided to give ourselves a tour of the property and made our way around to see all the amenities it had to offer. 45 minutes passed and Petar was checking on us again, so we asked him to give us a tour. He gladly accepted our offer and took time out of his day to show us around and explain how the weddings unveiled on their property. He was extremely informative and gave us all the information we were hoping for, minus the price of the packages for obvious reasons. We passed a few of the tour guides on our tour with Petar and they were unfriendly and acknowledged us. After Petar showed us around we thanked him for his time and our original tour guide found us to talk over price. We had a good conversation with her, but found her sales approach to be very pushy. She offered to give us a deal on the decor if we put the deposit down today, otherwise we would lose the deal if we waited. The approach by her was what I would expect out of a used car salesman. When you are requesting to be a part of the most important day of someones life, you want the couple to feel like they made the right decision because you are exactly what theyre looking for, not like their decision was forced. She decided to offer us the ability to cancel within 24 hours after making the deposit, but we had more venues to see and we couldnt be happier that we did. The terrible service and unfriendly environment overshadowed the beauty of the property, no amount of beauty is worth the lack of customer service we experienced. Needless to say Green Gables Wedding Estates is no longer on our list of potentials, it was easily replaced by a few other beautiful venues that had both wonderful staff members and more beautiful ground. I want it to stand out that Petar was exceptional, and it was only because of him that we didn’t just end up leaving the property. Because of Petar we could say our visit was enjoyable.

We attended a wedding in early June and I was pleased with absolutely everything this wedding estate has to offer! From the gorgeous grounds to the beautiful tent, bar and everything in between it was an amazing time for sure!

I dont even know where to begin!! My niece was married at Green Gables on Friday 9/22. We picked a Friday as the venue gives a significant discount. Hannah was amazing throughout the year . Anytime I emailed her a question/concern she immediately responded. I am a control freak and sometimes it is hard to let go of the reins. They staff the day of the wedding was amazing and catered to the bride and groom. Petar was so calm and was there when I needed him. I wish I could remember everyones names so that I can thank them individually. The wedding went off without a hitch, food was great and abundant. When the late night appetizer of the taco bar came out alot of the guests told me they could not even eat one they were stuffed from dinner. They have their list of approved vendors and we used Primo DJs and Excellent Designs for florals . They both exceeded our expectations!! I thought traffic noise would interfere with ceremony, did not even notice. Check out this hidden gem you will not be disappointed !!
The Victorian ambiance and extra special decor make this a very special venue for brides. I am the florist for Bouquets by Bonnie and we have done flowers at the venue many times. The staff is wonderful and they offer so many extra perks for the bride and groom.
Beautiful venue, excellent staff, food was ok but not vegetarian friendly at all, parking is at the bottom of a big hill so ok, wish the signs for the other bathroom stalls was more evident as I went thru the whole wedding waiting in line for the single womens stall to later learn there were additional bathrooms closer to the entrance of the venue.
Very cool. Beautiful venue hidden by surrounding riff-raff businesses. Since its mostly outside [tented], it got chilly - so be prepared. Catering, food, music, all good.

Nice ambience and Service. Good was meh. Good moist chicken and we liked the salad. Steam was overdone (usually this is a poor banquet choice) and roasted veggies were mushy.

2023-09-12 17:01:12Nestled on along train tracks and a big grocery store parking lot acroos the street, I was worried about noise from cars, trucks and trains passing by. But the event center felt like a secret garden.Event staff welcomed guests near the entrance and directed us where to park and to the entrance to the ceremony. We had to walk up a graded, paved pathway winding up to reception area. High heals be cautious. The place was very charming.Wedding Ceremony - the outdoor ceremony was nicely shaded and decorated with lights. The sound system was nicely placed and sufficient for all to hear.Reception - fortunately it was an overcast day (no heat wave), and we were all able to take pictures together and enjoy the cool weather outdoors. But on a hot day, everyone will need to hide under the shade of the many trees that line the property.Dinner - the 2-open-sided event tent was large and spacious with a bar at one end. 2 large cooling fans pumped cool air into the event tent. It was sufficient for that day. Again, it was an overcast day, slight muggy, but comfortable. The sound and lighting were sufficient. The food was tasty, but very small portions and served lukewarm. Sorry, no food pics. The service was good. The drinks were good.Though i had to leave early to drive back to Santa Monica/WestLA, I heard the party went on till 2am. Being nestled in a hillside away from a residential neighborhood, I can understand why there are no issues with loud music after hours.This place is beautiful for a Spring or Fall event. Just check the weather forecast, as you would for any outdoor venue.

2023-11-19 06:03:49What an amazing place!! The atmosphere is amazing secluded private very well organized. The staff was amazing The food was excellent! Just left the wedding tonight and I had to put this review out there because I did not want to forget to do it! Ive eaten a lot of catered food at different events weddings conventions etc.. by far the prime rib and chicken was the absolute best Ive ever had. If youre looking for a place for a good family friendly venue then this is it You dont even have to go anywhere else!

The grounds are gorgeous and there are many unique features like fountains, archways, greenery, and the groom and bridal suites. My guests raved about the beauty of this place and how great the food was. We used most of our vendors off of their suggested vendors list and they were each absolutely amazing at what they do. My day was truly a fairytale and encompassed everything I had been dreaming of for my big day.

I am from LA and I was worried about getting married in San Diego because we couldn’t make the commute frequently. The reason we ended up choosing this place is because of how beautiful it is. From the beginning the process with them was beyond easy. They were very helpful with every step of the way and since I was planning it without a planner I was very pleased with how much they took on and how smooth everything went.We had multiple meanings with the workers and they talked us through the process. They also had amazing recommendations. You are required to go with a DJ or music of their listing which we had no problem with. The food is included in their packaging as well as staff which was a big help. Not only all this but we received fantastic treatment the day of with our own personal attendants. Mikayla (I’m so sorry if it is spelled wrong) and Melissa were beyond amazing! They were the most amazing people at making sure we were all cared for, everything went smoothly and that it was all perfect. They paid attention to every detail and everything we could have needed or needed help with.For the girls there was a getting ready area and a photo area. Both very spacious and beautiful in their own way. The boys had their own speakeasy that is on the other side of the lawn. There are 2 locations to host the ceremony. 1. Is a smaller and more intimate 2. Is larger and full or more light. We went with the smaller location (photos shown). The grounds were large enough to stay hidden before and take photos after without running into too many people.Looking back on everything we could not have picked a better place for our most special day. 2023-07-23 15:01:40I was very disappointed with the organizer. She told us to sit on the wrong side of the aisle, because the bride had swapped which side she wanted, so that her father could really see her beautiful dress. This was the first strike. The second came later, when food was being served. We had a lovely small salad appetizers, and were supposed to have potatoes, haricot verts, gryuere stuffed chicken, and shrimp salmon pasta. I wish I could tell you what the chicken and pasta tasted like, but she had organized the speeches, shortly after the entrees were served! After the speeches were done, I stepped away for a quick smoke. When I returned, all the plates and food were taken away! I ask the server and organizer about it, and we get told, I gave you all an hour to eat, how much more time do you need? This royally ticked off more than one guests. DO NOT schedule speeches during food. No one is going to want to eat during.them, as that would be very rude to hear the clang of plates and cutlery during them. The organizer here really needs to work on thinking everything through, and making sure the important people know where they should be. Do not recommend for the exuberant price.

2021-07-02 14:56:32This venue was very pretty and was nice and large. Lots of foliage and plants all around. As an event/wedding venue I expect them to have certain things perfected. They had cocktail tables set up on hills that could barely hold a drink. Why wouldnt they make the table be level of they do it all the time. They need to pay attention to replacing lights that are out. 1 of the bulbs was out above the couple in the ceremony. They have a nice deck on the reception tent that they close off and have ugly equipment stored on. Reception tent was pretty with chandeliers over the dance floor. Lots of good things with just a few things I would expect better from them.
