I had the veggie wrap. It was delicious and the price was doable, the same as Chipotle. I am much happier I chose this place. I am a new customer but while I was waiting in line I saw loyal repeated customers that praised this establishment. Definitely coming back again and again.

Yum! Green Leaf Bistro - Premium salad packed with delicious savory Asian flavors! I ordered ribeye steak with garlic noodles(as the base) and all the standard salad stuff: cucumber, carrots, tomatoes, bean sprouts, pickled ginger, cilantro, mint, Thai basil, jalapeño, fried shallots, and peanuts. I added sautéed mushrooms and took the recommended Chili chop sauce (spicy, fresh garlic, ginger, Thai chili, lemon juice, pineapple, whiskey, and spices). Overall a great spot for take out. We tried the shrimp and avocado bowl and a custom bowl with pork. It was easy to order online, the ETA of 15 minutes was exactly accurate. The menu allows for really great flexibility and a variety of tasty and healthy meals, all the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality. The food was a large portion, worth the $15 in my opinion, and Im pretty cheap. I would order here again

What a delight to find a restaurant that could accommodate my medical need to be Gluten and Dairy Free. You choose your base (rice noodles, rice, etc), then your protein (I got red curry) and toppings (I did them all!) and then a sauce. I didnt need one since I had the curry sauce, but the chimichurri was pretty good. I also got the chili chop sauce - it has quite the kick! I wish the peanut sauce didnt have butter in it - that I think would have been a good combo. Oh! ~And adding a fried egg on top is most excellent. I also recommend having slices of avocado as well - yum yum. We were given a sample of tofu but I unfortunately wasnt a fan - something tasted off even with dipping it into one of the other sauces. Still, I would definitely come back - there were other combos I wanted to try - they also have meats like chicken for protein.

The location is weird, and the ordering app doesn’t work well. But the owner is a great guy, and the the food is fantastic. It’s so hard to eat healthy, and to find something reasonably quick. I hope this place lasts. I’ll be back.

This was my favorite place in downtown RWC. I say was because we drove down from Foster City and they look like they are out of business. Emptied out! I’m so disappointed ☹️. Ray, what happened? Are you opening somewhere else? Boo hooUPDATE 6/1/21: I forgot this review was floating out there. So happy that Green Leaf relocated to downtown San Mateo. It hasnt lost the ability to satisfy my umami craving with his bowls filled with fresh greens and choice of proteins topped with a variety of his sauces from which to choose.

I was in that mood where you want to eat, but not sure what you want. It was good to try something new. I seen all these people come in and out of the restaurant. I thought, well this place might be pretty good. Well, yes it was!! Yummy Asian Fusion. The shrimp and steak, scrumptious! Shrimp was crunchy and the steak so tender. Some spice, I’m not much on spicey. All and all a very yummy yummy place to eat. Can’t wait to go back and get some noodles! Ray it was such a pleasure meeting you!!Thank you 😊

Green Leaf Bistro is great for healthy and nourishing meals! They have a ton of customizable carb and protein options, and the food is always fresh. Weve tried the tofu, garlic shrimp, short rib, pork belly, and karaage and theyve all been excellent. The marinated tofu is fantastic for a veggie option. The staff is really friendly too. Highly recommend!

I went in here with no expectations and was blown away by the great food. I had a delicious curry rice bowl and a taro smoothie. It was late and there was karaoke going, which was SO fun and adorable! No complaints about service either.I will definitely choose this place again if I need a quick bite to eat or a casual meal in Redwood City.

Green Leaf Bistros food is amazing. Super flavorful, fresh, and no MSG! For someone who has food allergies, sensitivities, or is vegan, this is a dream come true as they have options for everything, and clearly label what is what. (Mine are milk, egg, and wheat) Even their chicken karaage is gluten free...I can have fried chicken again! :D I also have carb dietary restrictions, finally, a place to easily eat keto and paleo!They have large portions, and everything is customizable which I love. The online ordering was super easy. You choose your base (rice, greens etc,) protein, toppings (they have 11 total for the works), sides, and super yummy sauces.I ended up ordering half basil beef, half braised pork belly, roasted veggies, on a bed of spinach and arugula, with pickled carrots, mint, basil, roasted corn, cucumber, peanuts and shallots, and added avocado, sautéed mushrooms and Kimchee with their walnut vinaigrette sauce. What an explosion of flavor...Sooo good!I thought it was too huge but ended up eating practically the whole thing. I cant wait to try another combo, the options are endless!Apparently their tofu is made fresh from a San Jose mom and pops so they support other local businesses. Great philosophy, and so much heart.They also do catering which is a nice option for large families and reduces the need for the plastic trays, and lets people choose what they want as they go.My mouth is watering for the next delicious experience. I think Ill try their mamas sticky rice, when I asked about it, is like Chinese no mai fan. Yum!!! Asian fusion comfort food at its best :) cant wait to go back!

Food is EXCELLENT and very flavorful. You can build your own bowl with different proteins, grains, vegetables and sauces. Everything is made fresh in-house. Order at the register and food come out pretty fast. Busy at lunch time but the line goes fast. Also they have soups and special desserts that change each day, give them a try. Highly recommended!

Nice Vietnam food. Slightly on the pricer end.Was headed for the Redwood cinemark for a movie and the stomach growled. It was a rainy Saturday so this was just along the street from the theatre which makes it a convenient dash.We ordered a Rice Noodle Bowl with Pork, added a shrimp roll ($0.50) when you order with the bowl. Each of the dish entitles you to one sauce option, I ordered two fish sauce! Should have asked for one peanut and one fish sauce, oh well.Also ordered a black Milk Tea to warm up on a cold day. Came up to approx $19.We waited for quite awhile before the food arrived. Despite having so many people in the kitchen, they were really slow.The bowl was of a good portion and the rolls were big and generous in ingredients. They both tasted really good.The milk tea was done very well too, except that it was a tad sweet.Overall, I would recommend this place for a good refreshing Vietnamese noodles. Just make sure you dont arrive super hungry. 😀

I ordered the chicken bowl with brown rice, veggies, n peanut sauce. Overall it was a healthy lunch except they put too much brown rice in my bowl and not much chicken. They put a fair amour of veggies. What i really liked was the different hot sauces they have that u can try out! If u want to really feel the burn try the after death sauce! I added some to my bowl and 5 mins later my mouth was still burning!

The concept is simple: choose a base (rice, salad, a mix), choose a topping (chicken, pork, tofu), and they fix a big bowl of vegetables with toppings. Its fast and filing and pretty healthy. Its not as cheap as some of the burger places, which is a bit if a shame but its much better for you. And so so tasty.

I loved eating here but after being told many things were vegan I recently learned even the tofu is cooked in butter unless you ask otherwise. Today, I was told that the only vegan dressing/sauce is the spicy chop chop or something like that- again, after eating a variety of the dressings multiple times and being told they had no eggs or dairy. If you have any food allergies or preferences Id be very careful eating here because employees arent knowledgeable about ingredients. Id have rather given my feeeback to the management but they have no email on their website. Bummer.

Chilled out vibe with relaxing and comforting ambience. Seems like a great hangout for local teens or college students. My bahn mi was very tasty and I would return to have it again.
