Great shopping center. However there is A LOT of rude people that shop here, the pedestrians dont care for there lives in the parking lot they will walk in front of a moving vehicle and look at the person driving like they did something wrong if they almost get hit! Besides all of that its a great shopping center have almost everything u need for a home.

Too crowded old shopping center with all the stores in the circle - Safeway, 99 cents only stores, asian restaurants /take out and dine in- very nice/, Hawaiian bbq /if you know this restaurant and you are meat eater - so it is here, nail, hair, McDonalds and much more. Parking on the middle let you shop all stores at the same time and do not drive from store to store. Little too trashy because of cheap stores and homeless people around. Why I was there? - because of 99 cents only stores offer big selection of fruits and vegetables for low price. I am fruit girl. McDonalds is very nice, not long time ago build - good design.

They are cleaning up the place. They have cameras and speakers someone patrolling. Not as many bums as before. And store fronts are nicer no more bouncing around 12 bums and thugs trying to get to the store.

I grew up coming to this shopping center and Im glad to say things have improved for the better. One gripe is the struggle to find a parking spot close to the shop youre going to buy other than that its kind of a one stop shopping center. Love the old fashioned ice cream parlor vibe at the Loards ice cream here too. Yummy ice cream and a nice place to take the kids/family on a sunny day. Today we brought Grandma here and she gave her seal of approval👍

Family 70th birthday party. Most in attendance were born in Hong Kong or China. We had a great meal that rivaled any Ive had in the bay area. Great food, perfect noise level, solid service for a group that comes with very high expectations.

Nice having this shopping center so close by thats convenient to go to when you need to do grocery shopping at Safeway, CVS, Unleashed pet supply, Mountain Mikes pizza, Anns Salon, Joanns, Dollar Store, Great Clips, McDonalds, Jack In Box, Subway sandwich plenty of parking but busy! Food Maxx is next door to it. Adjacent to Walgreens across the street. Gas stations near there too & Big-O tires across the street!

1st time the Greenhouse parking lot was full! Got caught in the stores inventory stocking with the aisles crowded by pallets of goods, but good thing: there are many new items on the shelves. I found what I went there to specifically get and more! Good job, .99 store. Ill be back👍✅

They need to stop letting the homeless camp over here at the Jack in the Box! I had to go down the street near seven eleven to wash it off! When I refused to give this one homeless guy money, HE THREW A MC DONALDS CUP FILLED WITH COKE AT MY CAR! These people are just getting more needy and aggressive and have no bounds! I only came here to get some Christmas decorations from Joanns because I love their occaisonal deals.

The 99c store seems to be slowing down and downsizing on items. I Give them credit because thats the place to go for a large selection of fresh vegetables, fruit right now not just for the holiday. (FIFO) Remember, for some reason these are organic-produce and you have to prepare/store quickly for another day. Theres three food holiday coming up.We have to remember these stores have no preference on who they serve in on our communities and no question ask are your dollar bills. They feel a very needed void for some🤶 in a broken down economy.

Nice size outside mall. Lots of stores closed or closing cause of the whole Covid thing. Right now Fallas is closing and prices are up to 20%-40% off. Prices cant be beat and still alot of inventory. Dont wait too long before inventory becomes scarce.

Quite convenient location, busy market place with restaurants, Fast food, 99 cent store, Safeway, haircut, and other shops. But Watch out for homeless. Just dont leave stuffs in your car. Overall, Its still safe.

Not to crazy this place. 99 cent is ALWAYS crowded, you never know if the Jack in the Box is going to be open, the sign says says till 10pm but that never happens. Ive seen it closed before 8pm many times. I was treated rudely at a couple other places. So that kinda leaves Safeway way for me and thats not where I do my main shopping.

This place could be Better if Only people that go and shop there would contribute. And clean after themselves. They keep throwing their Trash out their window while park or as they drive away 😠👊. And some just leave their Shopping cart everywhere instead of taking them back to their station. Safeway,food maxX are the stores that I like to shop and always find what I need.

The little Chinese restuarant has a steam table that Carries a usual variety of Chinese food items. Quality is moderate. But this time, the sweet & sour chicken was not as tasty. I should have either picked the other sweet/sour dish or skip it altogether. Duck is always good here.

Theres a Chinese restaurant that opened by Joann Fabric & ever sinceparking is impossible. Patrons for the restaurant take up all front parking including handicap. They just walk right out in front of your car. Hello Im driving here. Just feel like they need to be more considerate.

I come here all the time to get groceries and occasionally boba. Good parking, and the McDonalds always has lots of elderly Asians socializing. Lots of homeless though who live under the nearby 880 freeway underpass. They are relatively harmless and sometimes helpful. I saw one help a lady whos car stalled by pushing the car.

I come here to visit the Safeway, which is a bigger store that stocks more variety of products and brands.The traffic in/out is sometimes tricky, depending on where you enter. They are currently paving sections of the roadway near McDonalds so the normal congestion is worse.

Greenhouse Marketplace (aka, the Greenhouse)is a go-to collection of retailers, services and places to eat. Its been there for years. Nothing fancy or upscale by any means. A few places have closed, though, because of the pandemic. But there are a lot of great stores at the Greenhouse.

Go here 2x a week. Right next to freeway. Has Foodmax in Plaza& Walmart a block away. It even has laundry mat& Safeway and Joanns Fabric along with the 99© store and Factory to you! Unbelievably even more stores and shops than that all in one place! I get everything I need done here when Im commuting from the Bay Area to the San Joaquin Valley, right off the freeway, oh yes even gas stations!

The best Chinese restaurant in East Bay. Be prepare to wait in long line if you go dim sum at weekend.Average is around $20-25 pp. Dinner depends on what you order, seafood is expensive (we seldom order), and suckling pig cost about $300.

Get place to take dogs 4 a bath at the Pet Unleashed . Cost is $10. You get 1 bottle of shampoo, 1 bottle of conditioner, 1 rubber scrubber, and 2 dry towels.Tuesdays and Wednesdays are busy near the holidays. Such as Valentines, Thanksgiving and Christmas! Great staff!

Greenhouse Marketplace is right off the freeway its easy to get to and easy to get in and out of. Its just that it always seems a little dirty! It has a feel of being run down already and its not that old. Stores change in and out of there a lot the main grocery store is still there. Very hard to park but the worse experience was at LaunderWorld. I am handicapped so my daughter and I went to wash tons of clothes and a short Chinese lady kept squeezing between me sitting at the machine in my Walker and the machine just to close the machine door as I take last piece of clothing out. Then she would wait until I go to another machine and start mopping the floor at my machine with a dirty mop. She would go across my foot or my daughter feet. We asked her kindly not to do that but she still will do it. Another customer of the employees stays came in wanting use the washer as we were taking clothes out of other machine and wanted us to Stop taking our clothes out and we remove clothes from machine she wanted to use. My daughter and I both said we will when we complete the machine we were doing. Employee lady and another male who just arrived started yelling at us to go take clothes out cause she wanted those 2 machines. Now mind you there were plenty of available machines. So both employees went inside a room and pushed some buttons and our machinesafe were no longer drYing the clothes, we had to change dryers to get clothes dry.Anyway I like that this facility has the larger machines and the fact fact that you can use your credit card.

Really great environment, the unleashed by petco is lovely! Everyone there is very attentive to each customer and the staff is delightful! The safeway is also super great, the statbucks is usually a little overrun by customers but joe and jenny really try to make it a good experience for you.

Lot of rude and reckless drivers here so keep your young ones by your hip and dont assume theyll follow traffic rules.Once you make it safely on the curb the selection of places are not bad as theyll have something for everyone. In addition to the Safeway and McDonald, theres a decent Japanese place on the far corner, a hot dog stand, a Dollar Store with lot of quality products and even a Nothing Bundt Cake place. Theres also a Sam Wo Chinese BBQ place (if you order their BBQ stuff, make sure to keep an eye on their knife work) and a new Asian Restaurant (in the former Hometown Buffet space) called Fusion Delight with crowds that rival Kois Palace.

Gentrification along with Millennialation changed this Market Place dramatically! This place was known as at least for me the little United Nations of various scrumptious dishes from different countries. Now, they are all gone. The reality is that the Bay Area is more suited now for individuals age 50 and under, in my opinion. Just look around you. I dont see anything in the Bay Area anymore pretty much for middle age older people, middle income individuals or families. For me, the only place worth going to is Guitar Center and at times Peets Coffee. Used to love the theater to go to that was once there now its gone.

Another struggling outdoor collection of strip mall caliber retailers and low key eateries, theoretically held together by Safeway whose own aloof stance undermines any real sense of community, and whose high prices stand in contrast to every other shop around it. the recent closure of CVS will further lower the number of consumers in the area. stores go out of business almost monthly here, and San Leandro might be better served by buying half the acreage and transforming it into a public park. even so skateboard park would be a step up

Im not a customer but im a parent of an employee of GNC; used to be an employee. I made her quit! Manager, Linda is a very inconsiderate manager to her employees.Where do you see a company that let only 1 employee work by themselves until store closed? Doesnt mattereally if youre only 18 years old....safety of their employees is not important to them.. My husband already talked to her in person asking if its possible to NOT let our daughter work from morning until 8 pm by herself. Still scheduled her until an incident happened. Thank goodness our daughter is safe but store lost $200 sale.GNC...take care of your employees. You only care about store sales which btw, Manager Linda stole a lot of sales from my daughter.GNC will not learn their lesson until one of their employees get hurt . Install store camera. Nowadays, all stores need one esp if you let your employee work by themselves.

Jack in the Box I give only two stars because they rushed order and you dont get what you asking for sometimes if you order curly fries to give you the old ones they have which is very hard doing the last time I went to buy chicken teriyaki bowl I asked also Forest hamburger did I think it was on the oven for 30 minutes it was really hard to eat I tried to make a complaint with the manager but she wasnt there

I used to ride my bike to The Greenhouse when I was a kid and it was a joy back then. Now decades later, I can only give three stars because the area has deteriorated somewhat. Particularly under corrupt, liberal rule in the city and county. But, its there if you need a variety of stores in one place, and you happen to be in that part of San Leandro.
